Nadelen: "In LA terminal, instead of the gate number the airport labeled my flight as “TBIT.” Not being local, I had no way of knowing it meant Tom Bradley International Terminal. I stayed near another gait that had international flights, and it turned out the gate was clear on the other side of the complex, which is obscured by construction. If I hadn’t asked one of the workers there I would have missed my flight."

I also forgot to write a review but my flight from San Diego to Tokyo on June 27 was also amazing. I was really stressed out over some logistics of my trip and the people at the gate in San Diego were so helpful!"

Voordelen: "The crews were polite and reliable. No bossy or mean like other airlines. they moved prompt, no running or fast walk on aisles, so that passengers can ask things easily. Food was much better comparing with any other companies. The boarding time was delayed one hour, however we landed japan 2, 3 mins later than the estimated arrival time. Landing technique was beautiful. American, United, ANA which I flew caused me have a deep Earache. I didn't get any pain from this flight. I am already scared of returning flight with American airplines."

Voordelen: "Plenty of leg room, which as a tall person I truly appreciate. They give you slippers, blanket, pillow on every (international?) flight. I flew Korea to Japan and Japan to Hawaii. Got free meals on all flights, even my short two hr flight between Korea and Japan. Free booze too! Super nice check in agent as well."

Nadelen: "For my entire flight back I was so hot I could hardly stand it. I had to change my clothes and it still didn't help very much. My meals were also pretty bad on the way back, which is odd because they were not bad on the way there. It was definitely one of the worst flights that I've ever had, mostly because of the heat."

As we were doing a 12 hour layover, all our check in luggage was taken care of and sent to van"
Nadelen: "At our first checkin from Korea Ana, seems we have to look at a screen for our luggage just to double check that they made it past customs (never had to do that before) - check in was a bit longer compare to yvr their scanner was much smaller so definitely can’t have big carry on"

We need extra time to be organised and in our seats for a very long flight. If not we block the aisle. And that is without consideration for the fact that my daughter has limited sight so needs my help and it takes time. I was disappointed that they didnt come through the cabin from time to time with snacks as most airlines do on long haul flights."

Nadelen: "Airport problems turned it into a very long flight. We circled around Fukuoka for and hour. We ended up landing in Nagasaki and used taxi to Fukuoka. Over all time to final destination is 6 hours late."

Voordelen: "lunch was filling, ordered gluten free meal, received more food than expected, beef steak was good, potatoes nicely roasted, also got a side of large prawns (2) and a crab leg. Aircraft is a bit dated, seats hardly reclined beyond 10 degrees."
Nadelen: "Cabin is bit old, seats don't recline enough, smells musty."

Voordelen: "Everything flight crew exceptionally nice food and snacks were great flight was smooth other airlines should take a cue from ana even use chilled silverware when serving food not plastic ware like the other airlines no attitudes just awesome service just like it should be ."

Nadelen: "Missed my flight over a misscommunication on getting to the airport. Thete was not sufficient time to arrive more than an hour early due to the fact Gimpo airport opens at 6am and the flight was at 7:45. When I arrived I was not allowed to check in or board and no one wanted to help me find out what to do. They suggested I call my ticketing agent. Thankfully they were helpful but they mentioned the ANA SHOULD have helped me find the next available flight but the representative kept repeating it was not her job. Finally she looked and said there were no available flights and tried to push me to buy another ticket through another company. My ticketing agent helped after she heard what happened and rebooked my flight for the next day. Hopefully everything goes smoothly but ANA staff at Gimpo were a bit of a nightmare to deal with"

Nadelen: "One flight attendant out of all others showed arrogant behaviors and facial expression. I was sort of disappointed because I chose ANA because of a reputation of their service and modesty embedded in the Japanese culture but not this time. I should have written down her name."

Nadelen: "Elbow room is tight so pray you don't sit next to someone on the larger side. And the seats and tables look well used."

Voordelen: "The large windows on the 787 are really a big plus for someone like me who likes to look out the window. To have the added ability to dim the window progressively is just too cool. Even if the sun is bright, you can still look out and enjoy the view. I love this feature of the 787 and am always a little disappointed when I'm back in any other aircraft."

Voordelen: "The stewardess constantly walked the aisle looking to assist the passengers...no disappearing act like one finds on other airlines. I was in business class, so the food was very tasty."

Nadelen: "Seats seem extra small, narrow and short. As a window seat there was very little room between the seat and the wall. Food and entertainment average to below average (compared with Qantas, Singapore Airlines)"

Voordelen: "Very clean plane. Nice and comfortable. Staff was very friendly. Lots of leg room. The seat doesn't till back, but instead the seat slides forward. I wouldnt mind to fly again with ANA. Terrific entertainment system and movies."

Nadelen: "There was no Indian or vegetarian food. My wife and my kid had to work with bread and jam only."

Nadelen: "There was turbulence at the beginning of the flight so we couldn't get the snack that we ordered. When the turbulence died down, the flight attendants did not bother to complete the food service for snacks or drinks ordered. I had to get up and ask twice. They were not present much at all in BUSINESS CLASS. So that's why I rated the experience as poor. The international food choices are poor. They do not taste good. I think I have to stop flying ANA. Nadelen: "Flight actually has a later departure slot than the headline departure time; being Narita, there is a significant risk of extra delay due to runway congestion. Arrived late at BRU and nearly missed connection due to combination of this (nearly 1 hour delay) and adverse jet stream."

Voordelen: "This flight seemed to go very quickly. A wonderful selection of good movies and TV, adjustable headrests (up and down as well as side wings), decent amount of room and foot space, polite crew, good food!"

A real mess. took over a half an hour and agents were processing coach passengers randomly and seemed oblivious to business class passengers who paid a significant price for the tickets."

Nadelen: "same remark : Before our trip we called Kayak service desk with the request to reserve our seats. The answer obtained was that we should do it online. When we went online there were almost no more seats available so we decided to go to the check in counter in the airport. Although we were more than 3 hours in advance in the airport there were almost no seats available. We were very disappointed about this service, we never experienced this with any other airline companies..."

Food quantity and quality in flights is below average. Security at Doha airport are highly unprofessional and have no respect for passengers and their privacy."

Nadelen: "Not that there is much to be done, but the passengers behind me had a small child and continued to ask me to move my seat and asked the flight attendant to ask me to move my seat up as well so that she and her grandson could have more room. However the gentleman in front of me had his seat back, so I was fairly uncomfortable for most of the 13 hour flight."

They said I have to pick it up only at baggage claim..and I had to carry my baby with 2 hand luggages all the way through immigration until I reached baggage claim...very disappointed with this. ..Other airlines handed the baby stroller as soon as you got off from the flight.."

Nadelen: "I nearly missed my connecting flight because of how poorly organized Ataturk airport is. Disembarking was extremely time consuming; there were few signs instructing connecting passengers where to go; and the employees of the airport were extremely unhelpful and gave conflicting information. I made my flight with only minutes to spare after going through two security and passport checkpoints and sprinting an entire wing of the airport. I will never fly through Ataturk (or anywhere in Turkey) again."

Nadelen: "The staff was not great. An issue with a first class customers made them move around economy customers like they ' really not even people but utilities, all that for that one person. If they would have informed and talked with the other customers that would have been fine but being treated like a piece of furniture isn't nice. Plus, continuous strikes in Belgium see a joke, check-in luggages delayed for plenty of airlines. This country doesn't even know what strike mean anymore being so often..."

Nadelen: "45min to 1 hour is barely enough to switch the plane in Frankfurt. Distances between gates are very significant and if you are not running there is a possibility you not going to make your connecting flight. Information how to get to the Z gates are not clear and it really takes a long time with all passport check points and security to pass through."

Nadelen: "Flight was 40min late, which can happen. Caused me to miss my connecting flight and all three employees from Lufthansa I dealt with had a total ‘I really don’t care attitude ‘"

Voordelen: "I liked the comfort of the seats and the spaciousness of the area allowing for standing out of the way. The service was exceptional and the food on this flight was very good. Entertainment was also very good."
Nadelen: "My only suggestion would be if the crew would inquire if you've ever flown either with Lufthansa or specifically business Class and just give tips if needed. Other than that, on this leg of our journey we had no complaints."

Voordelen: "Only an hour and a half but perfect service and even a nice meal. Because of the delay there were a lot of questions to the crew but they managed to keep travelers calm and happy."
Nadelen: "Flight was delayed but that had nothing to with the crew and the service."

Nadelen: "CONSTANT ANXIETY!! Our flight to Chicago was delayed. By 2 hours. This normally is not a big deal but it caused us to miss our connecting flight from Munich to Bremen. Then our new flight with a later time to Bremen was cancelled 20 minutes prior to boarding with no more flights to this area. The service center helped us redirect another flight to Hamburg, Germany. We had to fly to Vienna and then to Hamburg. We made it to Vienna after a 40 minute delay however, this delay caused us to miss our connecting flight once again. We were placed on an early flight the next morning to Hamburg which was an easy flight. When we got to luggage in Hamburg we noticed our luggage was missing. Supposably still in Munich. We then missed this flight and missed out on valuable time with friends who live in Germany."

Nadelen: "Comfort was good because flight was not full and I didn't have someone sitting next to me. Otherwise the seats are too cramped and crowded in Economy. Also had to call to find out if I had to pay for seat assignment. Couldn't find information on website. Had difficulty finding correct phone number and getting through to customer service."

Nadelen: "Delay of 45 minutes made me almost miss my connecting flight."

Voordelen: "Food is good, staff was attentive"
Nadelen: "Entertainment could have used some more recent options"

Voordelen: "My wife and I travel frequently and Lufthansa has always been a "notch above" all other airlines in onboard service. Imagine, airplane food that you can actually eat and enjoy!"

Nadelen: "no entertainment, cramped seats"

Voordelen: "My flight from Budapest took off hour later then scheduled. We landed in Munich only ten minutes before the international flight's take off to San Francisco. Upon the Munich landing, eight of us were escorted on a special bus, with a special pass controll and on special routs to make sure we get on the plane on time. Our laggage managed to get on the same plane as well. Thank you Lufthansa!"

Nadelen: "Munich airport should be improved far more. it took more than 20 mins to find a toilette. they should install more toilette for the travellers."

Nadelen: "This is a brand new airplane. The size of these seats has hit a new low. To expect an adult to spend 8 hours crammed into this thing is barbaric. It's been a week and my back still right. Enough already."

Voordelen: "Crew was very courteous and efficient"
Nadelen: "Seats were too small. I noticed my neighbor was a fat big woman and she was occupying part of my seat and arm rests so I couldn't move because she was almost on top of me. It was a very unconfortable journey."

Voordelen: "The crew was super friendly and caring. The food was great. Very enjoyable trip!!"

Voordelen: "During this flight, the attendants were suprisingly kind."
Nadelen: "Entertainment was just too poor(movie selection was just counted numbers.) the seat comfort was one of the ugliest, I think. even though they prepared many of premium seats, still once you compare with other airlines, it is far below than the average I think."

Voordelen: "Attendants were impressive. kind and so willing to serve."
Nadelen: "Entertainment was horrible. Those movies were not the best selection but the poorest selection as the cheapest probably."

Nadelen: "Seat space is limited and if one is traveling from us to India both the planes have same entertainment channels"

Voordelen: "The 747-8 is a nice new plane. The skinny Economy class seats are surprisingly comfortable. The entertainment system is good; I liked getting the feed from the forward-facing camera."
Nadelen: "Since last I flew with them, Lufthansa has added annoying charges like so many other airlines (but not usually full-service international airlines). Advance seat reservation was $30 per leg and seat. (I paid only for the overnight eastbound flight; on the return I found enough seats available by online check-in just after it opened.) One overweight bag was $100. Considering these charges, Singapore Airlines is the better choice for FRA-JFK. Minor quibbles with the entertainment system: * Front-facing camera points very low. Would be nice to see other planes during taxi (not just their wheels). * New "live map" during flight added useless gimmicks (view of earth from space), removed data (altitude, speed, outside temperature)."

Voordelen: "For SFO portion only: Entertainment media was excellent. Free Wine was very nice touch. Breakfast meal was either sausages or pasta. A more traditional American breakfast choice would have been nice. Toilet facilities were clean & ample in size & spacious Plane was very nice except for leg room where I felt packed in like a sardine!"
Nadelen: "Flight seat leg space was inadequate!!! Seat width was narrow for my hips."

Voordelen: "Lufthansa service"

Nadelen: "Missed my conection flight I wil not recomend air canada or british airlines for anyone"

Voordelen: "Lufthansa is one of few airlines in Europe with pure class and excellent service. Even in economy!"

Nadelen: "Flight was canceled, no information given, no compensation offered. Next day took the same flight. Bad food, uncomfortable seats, and this was in business class. All around Lufthansa is like a US airline. No thanks."
