But they tell you, you have to make it there on your own. Another CRAZY information is that I thought at the very least the baggage will be transferred. But nope! You have to pick up the baggage and ride the train across town to the other station. Whoever made this itinerary should be really fired and no longer work at this company. Seats are unexpectedly big and very comfortable together with functional well designed pockets beside the screen, where I could put my personal items. New and clean cabin."

Then my suitcase was busted open at Chicago O'Hare on the conveyor belt and ANA issued me a replacement on the spot. Two problems [ not their fault ] handled beautifully. ANA is truly amazing. A very nice Japanese breakfast. - smaller plane, bus that picked us up and dropped us off in front of the airport. As we were doing a 12 hour layover, all our check in luggage was taken care of and sent to van"
Nadelen: "At our first checkin from Korea Ana, seems we have to look at a screen for our luggage just to double check that they made it past customs (never had to do that before) - check in was a bit longer compare to yvr their scanner was much smaller so definitely can’t have big carry on"

Thete was not sufficient time to arrive more than an hour early due to the fact Gimpo airport opens at 6am and the flight was at 7:45. When I arrived I was not allowed to check in or board and no one wanted to help me find out what to do. They suggested I call my ticketing agent. Thankfully they were helpful but they mentioned the ANA SHOULD have helped me find the next available flight but the representative kept repeating it was not her job. Finally she looked and said there were no available flights and tried to push me to buy another ticket through another company. My ticketing agent helped after she heard what happened and rebooked my flight for the next day. Hopefully everything goes smoothly but ANA staff at Gimpo were a bit of a nightmare to deal with"

Voordelen: "Crew was super nice and the food was good (for plane food)! Really appreciated that they had snacks and chocolate on hand for hungry passengers throughout the flight. A 17 hour plane ride is never the best, but Singapore Air made it as pleasant as possible. Also, we booked on Kayak and was routed through a third party vendor JustFly, which I was a little worried about - but our booking went off without a hitch."

Nadelen: "The service was beyond awful! The Flight Attendants had a “could care less” attitude. I had special ordered a meal, and they gave me the wrong one. I did not want to make a big deal, so I just ate it. Then they did not offer any beverages when the meal came! I literally had to beg them to make me their famous “Singapore sling”. Shocking really!!. When I had my coffee, my request for cream and sugar went ignored THREE times. Finally they grudgingly gave me only cream, rendering my coffee undrinkable. .....And the list goes on. Never ever will I travel on this horrid airline again!"

Voordelen: "Before booking my flight on Singapore airlines, I took the time to read through some reviews and to be honest, the reviews left by previous passengers did not do the airlines any justice. I rarely, if at all, leave any reviews myself but my flights (from SFO - Singapore and vice versa) were AMAZING! I was sitting in economy and the level of attentiveness that we received, I could only imagine how great first class could be. if i could fly Singapore on all my trips overseas I would."

Voordelen: "Of all the flights and airlines I have used this was definitely the top of my list . The aircraft was clean , the crew were polite, curious, and attentive nothing was too much trouble. The food looked good tasted good and was plentiful. The pyjama were a nice added touch and very comfortable for the long flight. Flying into Cardiff airport was so good for my intended destination. I would certainly recommend them to others and many airlines could learn from their example.Well done and thank you"

Nadelen: "I was a little bit annoyed with the staff at the Doha airport at the boarding gate because she did not let me get in to boardin in priority even though with my privilege club card, I do have to insist after the call for zone 1 to proceed for boarding."

Voordelen: "The crew! Had a very bubbly and friend mostly Filipina crew that were extremely friendly and helpful. Having a nice smile certainly helps with the long flight duration!"

Voordelen: "My flight from Chicago to Doha was late to come in and there was a gate agent waiting for us and two other passengers with a sign when we got off the plane. He told us that our flight had already left but he would get us on the next one. We ended up getting seats on the next flight but then were also given the option to get a temporary visa and explore Doha for the night. We opted for the comped night which included a very nice hotel and $100 in meal vouchers. We absolutely LOVED Doha and the hotel and food was fantastic! I don't think I have ever received better service from an airline or a hotel. We ended up walking around Souq Waquif and the downtown until 1am (we are two young females!) with no issue and just used Uber to get to and from the hotel. Everything was so well laid out for us! No complaints whatsoever!"

Voordelen: "The crew who were dedicated to our row came by and introduced themselves individually. They came frequently to ask for anything I required. They prompty responded to a request call. The lavatory to passenger ratio for Business class was excellent and I never had to wait for more than a minute. The food was very good but there is room for improvement."
Nadelen: "Some of the bread and croissants were not really fresh. Fresh fruits were also very limited and not properly ripened."
Nadelen: "same remark : Before our trip we called Kayak service desk with the request to reserve our seats. The answer obtained was that we should do it online. When we went online there were almost no more seats available so we decided to go to the check in counter in the airport. Although we were more than 3 hours in advance in the airport there were almost no seats available. We were very disappointed about this service, we never experienced this with any other airline companies..."
Voordelen: "Like your six seats in a business class row compared to Emirates, Air India and very awkward seats of Etihad. Qatar business class staff also tad better than others."
Voordelen: "The older style seats are actually more comfortable for taller and larger people."
Nadelen: "The previous Qatar flight took 1.5 hours longer than originally stated and we had to rush to the connection without visiting the lounge. We missed out on the lounge on the flight down as well due to timing."
Voordelen: "Crew were extremely helpful and kind. Very responsible and polite."
Nadelen: "LCD was not touch screen and was extremely difficult to work with . I couldn't scape from an accidental menu which I was dropped in games and missed whole flight to enjoy something in LCD ."

Nadelen: "No Wi-Fi. Grew not a friendly. Seats are very hard after 6 hours. The dreamliner is already aged. The screens are in poor condition already."
Nadelen: "Seats in economy very uncomfortable for long Doha to LAX flight. When person in front of us reclines seat for entire flight, it is almost impossible to get out to stretch legs or go to restroom. At the minimum, crew should ask all passengers to raise seats during meal service as a courtesy to those behind them. This is done on other airlines."

Voordelen: "When we flew into Melbourne it was not a happy experience. Seats were cramped and arm rests wouldn't raise. The flight out, even though on the same model plane, was better. There was more room and we could raise the arm rests. For a 13+ hour flight that makes a big difference."
Nadelen: "Because the tickets listed the same type of plane in both the bad and not so bad flight, it is very hard to know what we're going to get. I'd love to be able to plan to avoid the bad experience, but if they use the same plane in two configurations, there isn't enough information to do so."
Voordelen: "About the same vegetarian food was served at almost every meal of the 13 hour flight."
Nadelen: "Need to provide more variety in food for long-haul flights. The food was not at all appetizing. ---- Entertainment should have more choices."

Nadelen: "I didn't appreciate the fact that Qatar opened so late at the Abu Dhabi airport, nor did I appreciate that the woman who printed out my boarding pass royally screwed up and printed gate 8 , when in fact it was gate 3. That was total BS. Supposing I missed my flight due to her negligence ??"
Voordelen: "It was my first time traveling on business class and I had an amazing experience, friendly and helpful crew, they always made sure that I was doing fine and if I needed anything or any help. Healthy options on they food menu and delicious food and beverages. I am looking forward to traveling with Qatar airways again in the future."

Voordelen: "Turkish Airlines is my favorite airline going to Europe. We even did the 20 hr layover in Istanbul and had a great time staying for a couple of nights going and coming back. Staff is always friendly and the food is amazing. The food in coach is as good as first class on some US domestic flights"
Nadelen: "It's an airplane, there's not much to make it better besides giving more seat room. TA gives free drinks, a couple of meals, blankets, and the travel bag, only a snobby priss would gripe about flying with them. I've flown enough budget airlines that give you NOTHING that I love flying TA!"

Nadelen: "The flight from Karachi to Turkey was two hours late and the flight from Turkey to Houston was again two hours late. The seat was super uncomfortable. The plane was very crowded. Turkish airways need to reduce their ticket prices because they provide poor services to their passengers."

Nadelen: "The staff was not great. An issue with a first class customers made them move around economy customers like they ' really not even people but utilities, all that for that one person. If they would have informed and talked with the other customers that would have been fine but being treated like a piece of furniture isn't nice. Plus, continuous strikes in Belgium see a joke, check-in luggages delayed for plenty of airlines. This country doesn't even know what strike mean anymore being so often..."

Nadelen: "For a flight leaving at almost 1 am, it's quite annoying to be force fed dinner and prevented to sleep for the first two hours of the flight. Dim the lights and do "on demand" dinner please."

Two unrelated issues at Miami airport they didn't have a separate line for the people holding global entry and at the Istanbul airport no info desks to direct passenger to their connecting flight"

Nadelen: "TV/Movie/music database was empty for my seat. The temperature in the plane was very hot throughout flight."

Voordelen: "While my family and I were waiting for boarding in chairs in front of the gate, my little child falet down and had very minor cut with one blood sign and drop but first aid group came and made some tissue cleaning to the cut with detergent. They told me that medical report is required by the flight captain and this report will cost me 230 TL. I told them no need for their report but they told me that I may not travel and the male misbehaved againest my wife when she told him that no need for their medical assistant and he replied this is not your country. They sqwezed us at the last minute and my remaining family at the plane and they told me that I am not authorized to travel with my wife and small child. We are total of 9 passingers. We were only remaining at the lounge. I told them my remaining family are at plane and I must travel otherwize I am going to claime all charges againest Turkish airline. Finaly at last minute they let me board."

Nadelen: "I always fly with my dog and he goes with me down by my feet so this could always be uncomfortable cause it's tight and not much place so I wish they give a little better seat for people who travel with their pets on board."

Nadelen: "The boarding area at the airport was overly crowded and hectic. It was really difficult to move around with two kids and a few bags."
Voordelen: "It was a 12 or 13 hour flight and except for sitting too much we were never uncomfortable. The service level made me think we were back in the 80's. Hot towels, attentive service, tons of food and free drinks. There was actually one meal that we would have eaten even if it wasn't on a plane. They gave out full size blankets and pretty fluffy pillows. (I bring our own anymore, because you never know if you will get one on most airlines, and if you do they're usually useless). Their entertainment system was amazing. We caught up on all the recently released movies that we've wanted to see for FREE! If only Netflix had this quality of movie offerings. They had fresh flowers in the huge bathrooms. It's that type of attention to detail you just really don't see anymore."

Nadelen: "This airline used to be excellent. Now, the prices have been going up and the standards down. Service not as good, food not as tasty, plentiful and varied, crew not as warm and attentive. Instabul airport was the usual chaos, which does not add to the experience for transfers. Also: boarding started late and of course was not done and time and since we lost our slot we were further delayed taking off. That made the transfer time even less and the situation more stressful."

Nadelen: "The Sabiha Gökçen airport in Istanbul is discrageful, and changing flights there is always a horrible experience. But this is not, of course, the fault of THY. The airport is simply too small for the current number of flights."

There was no information and no help, and the gate was already closed. The people at the ground terminal knew no foreign languages. All they could say was 'I do not know. This is not my responsibility'. Completely disorganised."
