Nadelen: "Firstly the check in for boarding pass took forever since there was only one counter that charged for extra luggage. I had to line up 3 times to get a boarding pass and almost missed my flight even though I came 2 hrs earlier. Secondly emirates does not give you Hotel even if your layover is for 14 hrs. Since my airline for final destination is another airline they said I don't qualify for it. It's a nightmare. I have travelled all other airline but by far emirates is the worst airline I travel. Terrible experience and I will never fly Emirates."

Nadelen: "- Crew not very attentive with infant and infant needs (i.e. bassinet). - Only 2 full meals and 1 snack for a 15 hours flight. First meal (breakfast) was served about 2-3 hours after take-off. Flight took off at 10 am so perhaps first meal should have been lunch. - Heard another passenger requesting veg. meal but crew said they don't have any extras and only serve special meals for those who request before. For a flight in which 60-70% of passengers are Indians, some extra vegetarian meals should be available (for those who do not know how to book it in advance)."

Nadelen: "The stop in Milan was unexpected and not marked on the ticket. It was irritating to stop in Milan and then have to reboard. I didn't notice when I was buying the ticket that the flight was a few hours longer than it could have been. I should have just booked my flight straight from Delhi to Europe. It would have been more efficient."

Voordelen: "Emirates is my carrier of choice, and that's due to their continued service standards, friendliness and rates. This flight was pretty empty so service was even better and I was able to spread myself out. Also, well done to the crew. They continue to maintain high standards."
Nadelen: "This is the first time it's happened to me, but I was scheduled to leave Oslo on Wednesday, but Emirates cancelled my flight and put me on the next one. It would have been alright had they offered some sort of compensation or made it up to me in one way or another, but that was not going to happen. They cancelled and the cost was on me (as per the T's & C's I was told) and that was pretty much that. Here's a hint, it seems like their Scandinavian flights are underperforming and in a cost saving effort, they're randomly cancelling flights. I subsequently found out they did it to someone else in the area causing them to miss two days of a pre-booked vacation. So, if they cancel, it's going to cost you a lot more in a city like Oslo to wait a day - not to mention the costs involved in missing work or vacation, so maybe shop around then. I still like Emirates, but I'm feeling a little burnt after this episode."

From the very beginning of the flight when I was delayed in getting on board due to my poor orientation in the early morning staff was very courteous"
Nadelen: "There is nothing I have to report negatively. I flew for a 32 hour period from Windhoek to Ft. Lauderdale and arrived feeling refreshed. As we say in Kentucky. I was "fat and happy.""

Nadelen: "While going Airport staff was not at all good at Chicago airport. I had a carry on bag, which I had been using in all other airlines as carry on for last couple of years and never was told that the size is not right. I was asked to either check in carry on as extra baggage and pay $300 or put my carry on stuff in my other checked in baggage and pay extra for over limit $120. And I have to trash my carry on of $80 value. I was not at all happy. I noticed in the flight so many passengers have the same size carry on, which I have to trash. On my return journey from Delhi to Abu Dhabi I was talking to a woman in the security line, who was sharing the same experience and she told me that they charge her $400 for one extra suitcase. To me that was shocking as how come I was asked $300 for extra checked in bag and she was charged $400. No idea what kind of policies Etihad has for extra baggage. I would like Etihad management to pay attention to the airport staff dealings with customers."
Nadelen: "Ground staff is so inefficient and checkin process at JFK and boarding at AUH is abysmal. Ground staff at JFK have no regard for time and on time departure. Seriously lacking in entertainment options inflight and food is mediocre. Etihad is seriously lagging other competitors from same region like Enirates. This would effect my choice airline for my future travels."

Nadelen: "THIS FLIGHT WAS NEVER USED HE WAS REFUSED ENTRY INTO LEBANON AND WE CALLED IMMEDIATELY TO USE THE FLIGHT EARLY TO GO BACK TO USA AND THEY REFUSED TO CHANGE IT. WE ASK TO HAVE CREDIT ON A FUTURE FLIGHT AND WE WERE DENIED. WE FLY EMPLOYEES LL OVER THE WORLD WE WILL NOT USE YOUR AIRLINE AGAIN."

Nadelen: "They caused a lot of us to miss our connecting flights bc of hours-long delays. I had to stay overnight in Abu Dhabi. They put me up, which was nice, but I was sad to miss the first day of my work trip bc of it."

Un grand merci au personnel de cabine mais le responsable au sol .... Mais en plus de 10 vol Ave Etihad c'est ma seul mauvaise expérience et de plus j'ai payer 200fr pour changer de vol et arriver 4 h 30 plus tôt résultat gagné 30 minutes oups"

Là fut notre erreur car lors de la correspondance à Abu dhabi nous étions de nouveau surbooké à 23h00 ! malgré nos borading pass. Au bout de 2h de négociation nous avons obtenu une chambre d'hotel de 1h du matin à 6h.... pour reprendre le vol suivant à 8h30.... Aucune indemnisation, ni surclassement, as même un code wifi .... COMPAGNIE A EVITER A TOUT PRIS, c'est du LOW COST et le SAV est CATASTROPHIQUE. You now have to pay to get an exit row like budget airlines and I had to go two days without my bag. Total nightmare. Then I couldn't recheck in to change seAts online. Food was disgusting."

However when we left Brisbane our bags weighed the same and nothing mentioned to us! How can this happen? Same airline company different rules depending which country you depart? Very very angry with Etihad."

Nadelen: "This Business-class seat is a proper rip-off. The only difference from Economy is the in-between seat is not used. No extra leg room whatsoever. Economy from Honolulu to Los Angeles I had more leg room then this one. Unacceptable response from the crew: "that's how it's been the last years"."

The lack of information on passport policies from kayak have made me disappointed on this company and I will not be using it or recommending it in the future. I had to spent over 300$ in hotels and gas to get to Miami to obtain a new passport."
Nadelen: "The booking services that kayak offered were not helpful at all. When I booked my flights to Spain the website should have alerted me that I needed a passport with an expiration date of over 3 months. Kayak should have information on travel policies to the countries they offered flights to."
Voordelen: "The crew was outstanding. They were regularly passing by with water & juice throughout the flight and were very friendly. A+ Also notably, they kept the cabin comfortable instead of the sweat lodge from my previous flight."
Nadelen: "I get that it’s Heathrow and not BA, but the random extra inspection process is super annoying. Nothing happens while you’re waiting in the terminal, then they pull you aside from group 2 as you board and before you know it you’re boarding back in group 5. If security used the time wisely, they could check 10x more people and not screw up the boarding process."
Voordelen: "No drinks or snacks for econome class. Its just a 1 hour flight, KLM Does serve on 1 hour flights."

Nadelen: "It seems to me that boarding by Groups has not helped in the least bit, instead it has made things slower. It's bad enough that the charges and limitations on luggage have forced everyone to try to board with their suitcases... The group system just makes things worse. I recommend BA compares itself to Lufthansa, Swiss, Qatar, Thai, whatever, and avoid trying to match Easyjet and American Airlines on service levels. Oh, and there is no excuse for long delays and cancellations in the most important airport in Europe. At least not for a simple dusting of snow."

Nadelen: "Was one hour and 45 minutes late leaving Atlanta for London."
Voordelen: "I was amazed by the flavour and quality of the food. As well, having complimentary drinks available anddd to the experience that made it special. I felt that I was treated as a valued client rather than just a person to fill the seat. That you to British Airways for making my travels a high quality experience."
Nadelen: "Water costed money and only credit card accepted"
Nadelen: "Very long lines for British check-in that went very slowly. I spent over 1.5 hours just at the check-in process. This seemed unnecessary."
Voordelen: "Excellent service and the crew was very friendly"
Nadelen: "Very uncomfortable seats and dated entertainment system"
Voordelen: "Crew was very helpful with an issue I had with my second flight"

Nadelen: "for the price I paid the service did not offer complimentary food or even water or soda."
Voordelen: "The Chief Purser came over to apologize. At the end of the flight, the Captain came to me to apologize on behalf of the airline. (Too little, way too late.)"
Nadelen: "I am handicapped and the jetway was broken. British Airways took a bad situation and made it worse! Obviously they had no contingency plans and the gate agents just wan't to avoid any responsibility and started blaming the poor man who had been wheeling me all over the airport. ONLY BRITISH AIRWAYS WAS AT FAULT FOR THIS. Eventually they put me on a lift several gates away and then loaded me onto the platform lift of one of those catering trucks that deliver food to the planes and drove me to my plane. The plane door was shut and they had to bang on the door to have them open it and let me board. As a result, I personally delayed the flight (officially) 28 minutes; in reality about 40 minutes. This was one of the most embarrassing and humiliating experiences of my life; to be loaded on a plane like freight!! Is this how British Airways operates??"
Voordelen: "I loved the hot towel svc, the food and beverage svc. Flight attendants very attentive."

Nadelen: "Food was really bad. I would like much more entertainment in such a long flight."

Nadelen: "Lost luggage - no one cared despite it clearly being lost at check in going down a broken bag shute. Plane was late. BA is losing their upmarket appeal trying to compete with cheaper airlines."
Nadelen: "I was annoyed that they charged for soft drinks and water on this flight. There was no entertainment. Just a seat on a plane."
Voordelen: "I was blocked and was not given permission to choose a sit when checking-in"
Voordelen: "Nothing to state on this flight. Just a low cost flight. Minimum service for just a short distance journey."
Nadelen: "Minimum service as usual for a low cost flight."
Nadelen: "Weinig te eten weinig te drinken voor zo'n lange vlucht. Geen geluid op entertainment"
Nadelen: "Flight delayed 1 hour. No drinks included"
Nadelen: "Nothing that was good."
Voordelen: "Everything was perfect."
Voordelen: "Quick flight with no issues"
Nadelen: "Little cramped."
Nadelen: "did not have vegetarian food display of journey on 3d map a very very poor one - poor screen control, graphics , speed"
Voordelen: "Usual efficient BA. Understated customer care"
Nadelen: "Flight was delayed. BA has started charging for sandwiches in economy. Have they decided to join the ranks of Ryan air and EasyJet? What next - Charging for food and drinks in economy on long haul and become like American, United and Delta? Where is the brand defferentiator? Someone in BA needs to understand that BA is perceived as a premium brand. Don't devalue it"

The entire airline industry seems to be a total disaster these days, and this flight was no different. They never posted the gate until boarding time, then bused us to the plane, a 777! We then sat on the plane for over two hours, with almost no information as to why. When they did give us information, it was an obvious lie, like saying we would be underway in 10 minutes, while being number 5 in line for deicing. I worked in the airline industry for 20 years, it takes longer than that for each plane, and a pilot would certainly know that. All in all, a 6 1/2 hour flight was 9 1/2 hours on the plane, just ridiculous! The entire time we were given little to no information as to why things weren't happening as they should. And to top it off, the pilot had the nerve to joke upon arrival into Boston that he was glad we had joined them for the short flight from London. Just what you want after 9 1/2 hours on a rock-hard seat, someone minimizing the agony you've been feeling for hours! Oh yeah, and the added time was just enough to allow the snow to start flying in Boston, which lead to multiple accidents, which made our 1 1/2-hour drive home, 3 hours, icing on the cake!

Uncomfortable seats at row 40 A and 40 C, they didn’t recline. Also, my prior seat selection was not honored.

Baggage claim took forever.

American Airlines customer service was extremely poor. They canceled our flights multiple times. Then put us on standby trying to get on flights instead of booking us on a confirmed flight to get us home. So flight after flight we kept our hopes up just to be disappointed and stuck from a connecting flight. We had never been to Dallas so we were sleeping on the floor at the airport waiting to get home.

Nadelen: "The flight delay was not reported correctly until 30 minutes before expected departure. The baggage carousel stopped running after already being more then a hour late. No members present to rectify. Absolutely terrible trip"

Nadelen: "meal service more suitable for daily flight (breakfast first and lunch last)"
Voordelen: "Yes"
Nadelen: "Everything was fine"
Voordelen: "Clean plane, fast boarding process."
Nadelen: "No power to charge a device. This really is unacceptable in today’s world."
Voordelen: "The ground crew were very courteous but I feel they were not being completely honest regarding the delays. It felt like we were being given false hope that the flight was taking off soon."
Nadelen: "We were boarded thinking we were taking off soon. Except the delay continued for another hour and a half I found out. I had exited the plane having been given the option of staying in Gainesville in a hotel provided by the airline and being booked on a flight the next day."
Voordelen: "Modern aircraft."
Nadelen: "Leg room, especially for a 6’3 person in the middle seat."
Nadelen: "Communication among crew members was terrible. We had to ride a crowded shuttle over to the plane only to be told we could not get off because the crew was running late. The crew shows up and begins their pre-flight preparations, but we then could not get off the shuttle because of broken air system"
Nadelen: "Sat waiting for gate for 30 min"
Nadelen: "It would have been helpful if American Airlines would notify passengers when they have selected a window seat where no window exists. I am very broad shouldered and that extra 3 inch well the window creates is crucial for me. Terrible 4 1/2 hours in a very uncomfortable position."
Voordelen: "The entertainment and crew in flight(not the ticket crew)"
Nadelen: "First of all, We were delayed 5 hours, I did not know finnair was operated by American Airlines(I wouldn’t never bought this thickets) we so many issues with AA in the past that we refused to fly with them, on top of all this they were trying to split us up(2 times) I bought 2 ticket for a reason..."
Voordelen: "It was quick, on time."
Nadelen: "Beverage service did not exist."
Voordelen: "Crew bemoeide zich op deze korte vlucht met niemand. Bracht wat te drinken rond. Verder niet."
Nadelen: "A 41 min flight took 4 hrs..AGAIN. LAST THREE TRIPS AVERAGED 5 HRS LATE"
Nadelen: "Leave on time"
Nadelen: "If we were able to have made the flight"
Voordelen: "The only good thing about the flight was the crew."
Nadelen: "I’m surprised there weren't chickens and goats flying with us. The seats were worn out and ratty. There was no where to charge a phone or electronics. No in seat tv screen so was forced to watch the tiny overhead screen of terrible tv shows and mediocre movies. I prepaid for a seat a head of time which was given to someone else. Also quite a bit of heavy turbulence the entire flight. Not ideal for an 8 hr flight. I’m lucky I brought an external charger and some xanax. Never again"
Voordelen: "The movie selections"
Voordelen: "Aircraft was comfortable and spacious"
Nadelen: "It was super cold, not even with 2 blankets made it"
Voordelen: "De stewardessen in t vliegtuig waren erg aardig en hulpvaardig"
Nadelen: "Nieuwe regels waarbij je je koffertje onder je stoel moet plaatsen of extra moet betalen om hem in de ruimte boven je hoofd te mogen plaatsen. Er is wel 5x gevraagd of ik wel zeker wist dat die van mij onder mijn stoel paste!!"
Voordelen: "The crew was very good. The made sure we were informed and helped get people rebooked."
Nadelen: "We were delayed by about 2 and 1/2 hours. Which I get no one can control a maintenance issue, just made for a hectic day"
Voordelen: "The flight was on time, nice crew."
Nadelen: "Only pretzels and drink on a 2.5 hour flight."
Voordelen: "Food and service on flight was wonderful."
Nadelen: "Flight was 1 1/2 hrs late. Staff in customs were completely rude & had no regard for those of us trying to make connections. Had to spend the night in Philadelphia & placed on PACKED flights thru Chicago, causing even more extended delays home."
Nadelen: "The connecting flight from Raleigh to Philly was cancelled so we missed the flight to Manchester. We booked , through Kayak, with British Air and paid extra for premium economy and the actual carrier, American, doesn’t know how to process a refund and no such seats are available on our rebooked flight 24 hours later so it has been frustrating."
Voordelen: "It was fine. Just not anything great."
Nadelen: "Many groups were not seated together. at the airport I asked if my husband and I could be put together . One worker seemed interested in helping, but another rudely butted in and said there "were no seats together, the flight was full." Come to find out the flight was not full, there were whole rows not full. The groups near our seats rearranged ourselves so we could be by our family members, so it worked out. No thanks to the person at the terminal. Really long walk from the gate to the plane. No food on a cross country flight. Only a few cups of water/soda and a cookie. which unfortunately is typical now days. The lights were off the whole trip. The captain kept turning on the seat belt sign for the turbulence. Which there was a lot of. But then he would announce for everyone to go back to their seats. It wasn't huge bumps, just a little rough. and it woke everyone up by announcing it multiple times."
Voordelen: "Friendliness of crew"
Nadelen: "Fourth roundtrip flight where I have been unable to use my upgrades to upgrade to first class on any of the four segments. What good are the upgrades?"
Nadelen: "8 hour delay on a 2 hour flight. They would not book us on another airline and could care less that we would miss our flight to Buenos Aires. The desk staff made it worse by being indifferent and called the police instead of listening to passengers. I will not fly again."
Voordelen: "Seats were roomy, great entertainment choices"
Voordelen: "Dat er qua breedte aardig wat ruimte was"
Nadelen: "Dat de gordel eigenlijk net te krap was"
Voordelen: "Entertainment, food and smooth flight."
Nadelen: "Did not like Early boarding with known mechanical problems, waited for almost 2 hours inside aircraft before taking off. Crew okay but could be more courteous."
Voordelen: "courteous helpful & friendly crew and really great ground crew too"
Voordelen: "Extra room with empty seat"
Nadelen: "Seat didn't go back due to exit row"
Voordelen: "Shabby Cramped"
Nadelen: "Cramped Uncomfortable"
Nadelen: "Not a fan of baggage fees especially this high for only one checked. Next time Southwest Air, I guess."
Voordelen: "The airplane was new. It had power plug and entertainment at each seat. It has a fabulous selections of entertainment for all ages. Comfortable seats as well."
Nadelen: "The crew only came offered drinks 1 time for a 5 hours flight. They did come by to offer room temperature water mid way through the flight. Food choices were minimal."
Voordelen: "777-300 - Good room in main cabin extra. Good entertainment choices. On time departure."
Nadelen: "Breakfast is terrible - too much sugar!"
Nadelen: "This agent spent 30+ min to check us in through a connection flight to Seattle. He couldn't find my wife's reservation, when it should be in the same reservation as me. He tried 5 times, and still failed. Later we found out at the gate that he was using the wrong name (same last name, different first name). Luckily the American Airline agent at the gate was more than competent and efficient to correct the issue in 5 min."
Nadelen: "Was very stuffy and hot. Plane never cooled down."
Voordelen: "Why would a jet this size wobble all the way across the Atlantic! The pretzels were even stale, and they served a "pizza" that was a stale mini loaf with sauce and a little mozzarella. People were starving when breakfast was served. The thermostat fluctuated from horribly hot to freeing - for 14 hrs. The crew slammed things down on table trays, grumped, were giving harsh orders to patrons rather than gently directing them. These ladies do not enjoy their job. I am done with Delta. We were also an hour late taking off due to a door on a cargo hold not closing. I was embarrassed that our Aussie friends experienced this as their first American flight."
Nadelen: "Food, attitude of flight attendants, comfort of cabin. Pilot took charge of thermostat issue and kept us informed in a friendly manner regarding the status of our take off and flight progress."
Voordelen: "On time and smooth flight"
Voordelen: "The crew, and the plane, confy. Was a good flight in general."
Nadelen: "Surprisingly long wait for bags to be unloaded from the flight. When everyone has cleared immigration long before bags make it to the carousel, something seems strange."
Voordelen: "Movie selection is great."
Nadelen: "No cookies :("
