I then missed my next flight in Istanbul and had to purchase another ticket. I cannot believe that air passengers are treated in this way!!! I will follow this up with KLM when I go home from my holiday."

Nadelen: "I paid hard-earned money for an expensive flight to Madrid. Not only were we very delayed on the way there, we were also delayed on the way back. We spent 3 hours back and forth on the tarmac stuck on an old bus in 100+ degree weather being delivered conflicting information, summed up to the seats being "broken". We got a "bathroom break" during which was talked to very rudely by the flight attendant at the gate, and then was almost left behind by the bus on the tarmac. Additionally, once we got onto the plane, it was extremely old (I'm talking no TV's, ashtrays on seats, filthy tables, dirty seats). To top it off, when I went to the restroom in the middle on the flight, I saw flight attendants drinking Tito's and soda in the back in the plane and talking loudly. I am not usually one to complain- but this was a particularly bad experience and terrible ending to my vacation."
Nadelen: "Due to what had happened in Alicante and having to purchase a new ticket for Rosario IBERIA told us they could not issue a boarding pass due to the fact that the flight from Madrid to JFK was on American Airlines. Once we arrived in Madrid it was very nerve wrecking because we had to go to several places in and explain everything and we needed to do a lot of running in order to make it to our flight on time, all this with two small children and people that were so unwilling to help"

The first time (April) the crew was late which made me late to my connecting flight in which there were no more flights to my destination for the rest of the day (Jamaica) had to spend the night in Miami and miss a very important meeting. The second flight from Miami to NY 8/22 was delayed twice in which Im still not sure why but i had to deal with other angry passengers and they're rudeness which made my experience bad. I want American Airlines to be great. I just want to fly with them without a problem for once. JetBlue always gets it right"

Nadelen: "The check in agents with Iberia airlines in Porto were rude, the. told me only when I arrived that I could not carry on “camping backpacks”, so I would have to check it for an additional 40 euro to check it.. despite saying they’d be happy to check “carry on” free of charge.. I’ve never had a problem with my backpack before, and it fits well within the size restrictions and easily fits in the overhead.. then they were unable to transfer my bag that I payed 40 euro to check, to my connecting flight. Therefore I had to wait two days to receive my luggage at my final destination in Rome.. Overall a really mediocre and frustrating experience."
Voordelen: "The crew were friendly and helpful and the flight arrived early, even though we left a little bit late - as such - I was very happy with the flight. The onboard entertainment system was wifi based and there was a USB charging port in the seat too - modern aircraft."

Nadelen: "There was a broken restroom on the plane in the main section, so then, they should keep an eye on the remaining restrooms as they get dirtier sooner. Madrid barajas airport is an ordeal, Iberia needs to explain better that passport control happens when you get to terminal 4S on the tram AND then there are TWO more passport controls. then there isn't enough space for people to line up for the various groups, creating friction. Iberia just needs to be more organized."

Nadelen: "British airlines delayed flight to my transfer. Missed my transfer to Madrid and got one to London. Leaving from London my flight on British was delayed by 2 hours AGAIN. Not good."

Nadelen: "The crew at the gate needs a serious lesson on customer service. They are the rudest people ever and can’t speak an ounce of English. They give a bad impression towards Spain in general and the courtesy provided within. There was no entertainment onboard and no food/drink served."

Nadelen: "The flight to Madrid from Porto left so late I missed my connecting flight to Bilbao and I so I took a bus to my destination."

Nadelen: "I was not informed about having to pay for checking my luggage and it did not even showed at the Iberia website when doing my online checking. I had to pay a total of $50, $25 each way, in Madrid. I was never informed of this in Boston or, again, while processing my checking using Iberia’s website."
Nadelen: "We never made it to this part of our flight because our Budapest to Madrid flight was canceled due to faulty AC system. We were boarded In Budapest and about two hours later they made as deplane after sitting in the hot plane for two hours. It was around 10 PM and no food was available at the airport, so I could not feed my four-year-old son ."
Nadelen: "Absurd weinig beenruimte. Alleen geschikt voor mensen kleiner dan 1.50m. Je kunt het best de hele vlucht op het toilet gaan zitten. Dit was één keer, maar nooooit weer!!! Sterk af te raden!!"
Nadelen: "Belachelijk weinig beenruimte, waardoor ik niet eens recht in m’n stoel kon zitten!"
Voordelen: "The cool thing about this airline is that it’s dirt cheap to get from Oakland to Barcelona!! I will say tho, you do get what you pay. We purchased the most basic flight and that’s really what it was. Tight leg room and lots of people. If you’re over 5’5 I HIGHLY RECOMMEND getting extra leg room if it’s available. Aside from that. The flight was cool and the staff was nice!"

Nadelen: "Iberia allows kids to abuse other passengers. I asked a flight attendant to stop this abuse after I was bumped in head a number of times by a kid that was jumping across a row a seats in front of mine ,the flight attendant told me that I should tolerate this abuse because it was from a kid,then proceeded to tell me that if I did not want to go throughout this abuse ,I should fly in a private plane. I felt irate at such response from a flight attendant and responded that I will never fly Iberia again. I wanted the attendant to talk to the parents and ask them to control their kid from abusing the adjacent passengers.I felt the impulse to talk to the crew chief but decided against it simply because I would do them a favor if they listened. Truthfully I think carriers with such attitudes deserve to go bankrupt and I hope they do."
Voordelen: "This trip would have been another good experience for me flying with Iberia if it wasn't for the man that was sitting behind me. He didn't want me to recline my seat because he wanted to cross his legs... I told him that the guy in front of me had his seat reclined all the way and I wanted (sort of needed) to do the same, then he got aggressive with verbal abuse, called me names and he punched my seat. So I called the flight attendant and told her about the incident. She was nice and calm and told the man in a very respectful way that I wasn't doing anything wrong and he should not behave in an aggressive manner, etc. The man kept mumbling insults addressed to me while talking to his wife and making sure I was hearing it.... And he kept kicking my seat every now and then, and made a fuss every time he went to the toilet. He really ruined my flight experience to New York."

Nadelen: "I am an American who flew roundtrip Chicago - Madrid. We (family of 3) still haven't received our lost luggage from 2 weeks ago. When we checked in at Madrid, one staff told us to ask about the luggage downstairs at the luggage retrieval, which we are not allowed into. I came back and another staff woman told us to immediately go through immigration, because it takes so long to get through. Since our luggage appears to be lost for good, we will never take Iberia again. Madrid airport is a nightmare! We arrived at Madrid airport 2 hr 20 min. before our flight. Because the distance from the check-in counter to the plane is unbelievably far, and we all have to wait in very long lines, and then take multiple trains, escalators, and finally a bus, and U.S. passengers have their passports checked twice in long lines, we got on to the plane barely in time, on "last call" 30 min. before it took off. We will never fly through Madrid again! On any other trip from Spain overseas, we will choose some other city in Spain to leave from."

Nadelen: "I don't know what they served us. I wouldn't call that food. Breakfast was even more depressing than dinner. No entertainment system, except those collective screens – everybody needs to watch the same movie. Staff was rude and flight was 2 and half hours LATE."
Nadelen: "There was no complimentary water or beverages"
Nadelen: "We were in JFK for over 24 hours being lied to and being promised that our flight to Madrid although late would leave that day. We were changed from boarding door to boarding door, we were told that there were no hotel rooms available in New York that they could place us in and told that they were testing a plane and as soon as it was confirmed it could fly we would be on it. At approx. 1am or a little after we (the passengers) from the flight were located at boarding door 7 and they brought an Iberia plane right by the windows in hopes that we would be put at ease at the sight of a possible flight only to find out that there are no flights out of JFK after 1am. The lies they told and or lack of truths was very frustrating"
Voordelen: "Fast boarding."
Nadelen: "No air conditioning.no help with making connecting flight/customs. Staff could not speak english."
Voordelen: "Fast and clean. Smooth ride."
Voordelen: "The british flight to Madrid was overall very good"
Nadelen: "Also delayed"
Voordelen: "Everything flowed very smoothly desite the fact I had an irregularly shaped carry on. It was no problem, Staff were positive and acomodating and that lead to passengers being accommodating to each other. The intertainment was great, the only draws back is that I slept most of the time and wanted to watch another movie."
Nadelen: "That I had to bother the person sitting next to me to get up when I wanted to go tot the bathroom, but he was very accommodating"
Nadelen: "We paid $30 each way for extra legroom, but our seats did not provide it, and there were no empty seats available in the appropriate rows to correct the error. As happened before the airline pleaded a "change of aircraft" with no extra legroom seats. We were somewhat accommodated by being re-seated in the middle section with an empty seat between us, but this was not what we preferred or needed."
Voordelen: "The food served and diverse movie choices."
Nadelen: "4 hour delay."
Voordelen: "Not a full flight so I had to seats to speak out. Flight attendants were friendly and it didn't seem like a 10+ hour flight."
Nadelen: "I wish there was a quicker flight between LAX - Europe."
Nadelen: "When we arrived at AirPort El Dorado, we discovered that our flight was cancelled/has been changed without warning us! They scheduled us a new flight with Vianca and Iberia: Bogotá-Madrid + Madrid-Brussels. My partner and I could not sit together on any of these flights! 1 of 10 hours and of 2 hours! I would NOT recommend AA to anyone! This was full responsability of AA!"
Nadelen: "Seat recliner broken at 21B so seat will not stay in upright position. Passenger bouncing through out flight banging my knees. Passenger behind continually kicking my seat, passing people grabbing seats and jerking it. NOT A FUN RIDE"
Voordelen: "Very good food overall. Picking up utensils a little slow. Good coffee. Lavatories were accessible at all times. I was able to get aisle seat without a hassle. Good movie selection l. Movie quality itself was disappointing l."
Nadelen: "Stewards keep trying to speak in Spanish to you. Every time again you have to ask to repeat in English."
Voordelen: "Thought the crew did a good job."
Nadelen: "3 people in my group; not seated together; given different boarding groups; I was TSA pre-check, they weren't. Food was horrible. Plane was cramped and DIRTY. In flight entertainment useless since small screen was too far away for me to see. Despite Iberia flight number, this was an American Airlines plane and crew."
Nadelen: "the flight over LAX to Madrid was horrible. An old plane, both my husband and I had broken seats, no screens, and no charging capability. The flight from MAD to LAX was much better with a newer plan. I would however, not fly with Iberia again, because the out bound flight was so awaful. So average rating is okay."
Voordelen: "We were overall very pleased with everything about, thank you!"
Voordelen: "The dood was decent (rice and chicken instead of a sandwich). Entertaiment was great, we had more than 20movies to choose from."
Nadelen: "The only bad thing was the weather. Ee ended up arriving 1hr later due to heavy rain, but then at the airport you could hear Iberia employees calling passengers with connections to speed up their process."
Voordelen: "Staff was friendly and corteous. Out of three times I was flown with Iberia I can honestly said the service has improved tremendously. The crew members were polite and always ready to accommodate to your needs."
Nadelen: "Flight left 5 hours late"
Voordelen: "Enternainment selections were ok."
Nadelen: "Flight attendants were not helpful, indeed they were dismissive. I asked one for ice and she told me they had no ice. Bullocks."
Voordelen: "All airplane attendants were very helpful and always on the call."
