Nadelen: "Didn't like the fact that I was never notified through email that the flight was from a different , newer airport in Islamabad. Originally my booking was from Benazir International Airport Islamabad but on the day of flight when I went to that airport , it was totally closed for operations and flights. And I asked people in the street e.g taxi drivers etc which airport my flight could be from. They told me that a new airport in Islamabad had become operational and my flight could be from the newer airport. I went to the new airport but I was late for boarding because my time was wasted in going first to the Benazir International Airport and then rerouting to the new airport. Fortunately the fight from Islamabad to Qatar was delayed and I was able to make it to the boarding and flew from Islamabad to Doha."

Nadelen: "The legroom was a problem. Seats are kind of narrow, and then, with the lack of legroom it’s somewhat challenging to shift your legs, especially when the seat in front of you goes back! I felt like the person was almost in my lap. My cup even got crunched. I think my biggest issue, though, lay in how I was treated after paying $127.00 to obtain a day pass for the lounge each way. For my inbound flight my purse was branded with an “economy” class luggage type tag, and I was made to feel as though I was trying to sneak in. I had to show my boarding pass a number of times to employees after asking for the location of the lounge in order to be directed there, and then my credentials were examined as though I was trying to get into Fort Knox. Upon arrival at the desk, I was somewhat tersely informed that I had 6 hours. I went out of my way a bit in order to fly Qatar, which is supposed to be so wonderful, and I was underwhelmed. I’ve had better experiences on Lufthansa and Turkish Airlines."

When we went online there were almost no more seats available so we decided to go to the check in counter in the airport. Although we were more than 3 hours in advance in the airport there were almost no seats available. Also, going my audio was not working for Newark to Athens and Athens to Dubai. However it was working from Dubai to Ahmedabad. Also coming back they give me very hard time for my Camera bag. Somehow it’s free to fly from USA but you have to pay for the weight of camare coming back."

Nadelen: "2 hour delay at DFW because other flights de icing Diverted in mid Atlantic to Dublin because of problems with toilets. Waited 2-3 hours there. Missed connecting flight from Dubai to BLR. Only good thing was that Emirates gave me a boarding pass to a later flight and a meal voucher that was accepted with bad grace by the barista at terminal B Costas. Two of the meal voucher choices Cozi & Burger King had gone out of business!"

I did not see the nanny or flight attendants helping either situation e.g. offering water to the sick, ect. The toilet room was disgusting. The seat was cramped."

We were first to baggage drop at Ahmedabad and believed the staff at the check in counter would assist in getting our seats together as I have been shifted from my checked in seat on a previous flight. However he was unfriendly and unaccomodating which made it a very unpleasant journey."

Bathrooms in that particular section of the airport were really dirty and broken. Also travelling by bus to the airplane is not desired for such a major airline home airport. I read somewhere that airport is going to go through major renovation in 2019, so I hope it will become as good as Dubai airport"

Nadelen: "No one told me or suggested me of asking for accomodation as I had stopover for over 15 hours. Staff made an excuse and blamed ticketing agent. Even Kayak.com did not suggest this. Had to spend couple of hundred dollar for accomodation . Not happy at all. First time experience with flight and booking agent is very unsatisfied. Thank you though"

Nadelen: "There was a delay due to poor weather. Although I was still able to make it to my connecting flight in time, they automatically switch my flight due to my bags not having enough time to be transported to the plane. As a result, I was stranded in Abu Dhabi for 12 hours. In fairness it's not the airlines fault and they did provide a hotel and shuttle bus for my short stay. What added to the frustration was the fact that they waited for the shuttle bus to be completely full (with people sitting in aisles) before taking us to the hotel. We got there too late for dinner, since all that waiting around resulted in a two hour trip for what should have taken 20 minutes. Since we had to leave so early in the AM, we didn't get breakfast either."
Nadelen: "Staff is rude. No efforts to make the customer feel comfortable. Just get the money and disown attitude."
Voordelen: "I am extremely thankful for the service of ETIHAD Airline crew for their service. It was my very first time flying Etihad Airways and I was wearing a knee brace due t an injury yet the crew was able to accommodate me to a seat that had more leg room. Kudos to the staff and the airline crew for the great job they have done."
Nadelen: "Transit from Jet to Etihad was unclear. Had to go to a different terminal, but there were no signs and airport (not Etihad) staff didn't seem to know where to go. Once I got to the right place, Etihad staff were helpful."

Nadelen: "At AMD Staff didn't know about new law for laptop. It is only effective from Abu Dhabi to USA flights. Not from Ahmedabad to Abu Dhabi flight. Only they need extra money for laptop weight."
Nadelen: "From the trip to india and the way back, The experience was horrible. The staff was rude and unwilling to help. Compared to other airlines very bad customer service. I will never fly Etihad again. I will actively tell people not to fly Etihad. At the Ahmedabad Airport they were unwilling to help and very rude!"

Nadelen: "Could not do web check in jet airways website. Apart from it, everything was good as they were Etihad flights. Hyderabad airport was unorganized about checkin process. Except that, everything about Etihad was a great experience. Food, service crew, lounge areas, aircraft comfort and entertainment were great."
Nadelen: "We were asked to stand for boarding. And instead of having us board they boarded first class and handicapped people. I understand these people have the right to board first. However, if you know that you have more than 20 handicapped to board first do not have an entire zone of people stand for 40 minutes"

Staff was extremely arrogant during the flight, not helpful at all. Boarding process was a huge disaster - no planning, no zone boarding and unnesessary panic. Lastly food, worst frozen food. The portions were too small and very limited service. We won't use ETIHAD again."
Nadelen: "If you are flying from AUH to JFK, they pre-clear you for US Customs. What they don't tell you is that the cut-off to get to the gate is one hour before departure. I took a leisurely stroll down to the gate when he signs said 'boarding soon' and was denied entry to the flight. The next one was in seven hours, so I spent the night in the terminal. The big slap in the face, aside from how rude the staff were: they won't just put you on the next flight. You have to buy a new ticket, full fare. It cost me more to get home than the original round trip ticket did to begin with. Trying to discuss this is fruitless - they are absolutely not interested in helping, but instead use phrases like "you are the one that is wrong" and "why should we pay for your mistake". Essentially, I was held hostage in Abu Dhabi and forced to pay a heavy charge to leave."

Nadelen: "Flights was delayed by 20 mins from JFK airport to Abu Dabhi. Food was horrible. No desert provided. Juice was not natural. It was sugar added juices. Two hour free Internet never worked. Landing was not smooth."

Nadelen: "This ar line has no absolute respect for its people. It seems because it is a fight going to India, which apparently it is not an important country they can do anything. The worst gate (I do not know if this is the air line choice or not), there was no line to boarding, there was not enough seat at the gate and one of the people at the gate was insisting that travelers should sit. The crew was rude to the Indian people, however they themselves were not acting properly. The bus came to get the people from the gate to the plane in Abu Dabi was really bad."
