Nadelen: "same remark : Before our trip we called Kayak service desk with the request to reserve our seats. The answer obtained was that we should do it online. When we went online there were almost no more seats available so we decided to go to the check in counter in the airport. Although we were more than 3 hours in advance in the airport there were almost no seats available. We were very disappointed about this service, we never experienced this with any other airline companies..."

Then wait for the previous minibus's crowd to clear then walk another flight of stairs up the plane :( I can accept this from a budget airline but not a commercial airline at a usual well-equipped airport especially when it's at its own home country."

Bags also came out first & delivery was very quick. Le personnel naviguant est juste exceptionnel on peut demander ce que l'on veut et ce même en économie class. Les compagnies européennes devraient s'en inspirer. La nourriture excellente et vraiment j'insiste sur la qualité du service."

Voordelen: "The food was the best airline food for the whole trip. The green curry was very nice, though it would have been better with chicken instead of fishball."
Nadelen: "The boarding was ridiculous. We had to get off the previous flight so far away from the main terminal, and wait on the tarmac for the driver of the van to come. He was late. Luckily, the Passenger Services Agent was reactive enough to check our boarding gate with her handphone and wrote the gate number on our boarding pass. It was a mad rush from where we alighted from the van to the gate which was at the extreme end of the terminal, coupled with stairs up and down, and carrying our hand luggage. Anybody with a weak heart would have collapsed. What more when we are both senior citizens! The time to change plane was incredibly short. That was a torture. One more hour would have been just right."
Nadelen: "Right from how rude the flight attendants are to how the ground staff can forget of something as basic as informing passengers that their flight has been delayed by 6 hours. Furthermore, the no one from the ground personnel to the flight crew have any answers to why passengers upon boarding their flight are kept waiting for an hour on the plane before actual take-off. While on flight, flight attendants initially refused to serve us food stating that we should've ordered in advance. This was NOT mentioned during booking & clearly stated that food would be served as complimentary as per any International flight. I've been flying international for the past 10 years & have never come across such an incompetent lot. This was our honeymoon trip to Thailand & we 'Thank' Thai Airways for ruining it. Will never ever make the mistake of flying with them. And will make sure our friends & family do the same."
Nadelen: "Worn out old 777. The seat cushion could’ve been made of wood!! Not good for a 12 hour flight!!!"
Nadelen: "Due to the late arrival of the previous Thai Smile flight in BKK we had to literally run the length of the airport to catch our next flight. We were taken at pace by an airport staff member who kept telling us that they were closing the gate so we had to hurry. Fair enough but having raced for a very long distance, minus shoes after the security check, we arrived at the gate to find that boarding had not even begun and did not for at least 10 minutes after we arrived at the gate."

Voordelen: "Business class on this short haul flight was fantastic, but sadly I don’t think this is the normal route it will take as I think they were testing it. If you can get one of these on long haul they are a very nice plane, individual compartments and some very modern touches. Windows darken without blinds, loads of space in your compartment and food was good even as just a snack."
Nadelen: "I can’t think of anything I didn’t like and if Thai Air have these rolling out for long haul I’ll definitely look at them against"

Nadelen: "Bossy staff seemed to much trouble stretching your legs made you feel like you were in the way!!!!"
Voordelen: "They maintained darkness inside the cabin, thus I could relax well."
Nadelen: "Food was not good, also they served dinner at 5 pm which was very early for me. I had late lunch at 1:30 and was not expecting dinner at 5 pm. I did not feel hungry and so refused the meal. Unfortunately they served only a cup cake later in the evening. It was a 6 hour flight, thus a small cup cake late in the evening did not suffice."

Just average experience. Business class seat layout is less than par. 2 3 2 seating. Little outdated. The lounge at JFK really doesn’t exist. (Avoid JFK at all cost) But the lounge experience at Istanbul made it up. Overall average.

So not sure how big people can handle seating there for 10 hours."

Nadelen: "The cabin design is perhaps looking a little dated and tired compared to some of its business class competitors. This was also true of comparing the 3 flights I had on a Boing 777 model versus one of the short haul legs on a more modern Airbus."

Plus, continuous strikes in Belgium see a joke, check-in luggages delayed for plenty of airlines. This country doesn't even know what strike mean anymore being so often..."

Nadelen: "Checking in was a nightmare of inefficiency. I couldn't use self-check-in for my bad because I was flying to America and for some reason, this meant I had to hand my suitcase to someone rather than just putting it on the conveyor belt. There were about 8 people ahead of me, and yet it took a solid hour of standing in line waiting to get to the counter. How it could possibly have been so insanely slow is beyond me. When it was finally my turn to submit my bag it literally took 30 seconds. And yet I had to wait an hour. Grade: F-"
Nadelen: "Surprised to find out that there was no rock/metal playlist available within music menu, considering that Finnish artists/bands are famous worldwide and very proficient in this genre."

Voordelen: "Fell asleep and didn’t even realise. Finnair is very friendly and the staff are super nice. I was very thirsty and asked for two cups of water instead of one and the lady was not hesitant to give me two cups in quick succession. Very good air company"
Nadelen: "Nothing really too bad, you get what you expected. May of been nice to have a free sandwich as it’s a non stop flight - this is because Lufthansa has one stopover and offers a free sandwich and drink."
Voordelen: "One crew member servicing first class was in a mood “not to be here” - it is sad because of first class experience is higher than usual! It was just bad!"
Nadelen: "I honestly don’t have an answer for this, I guess these kind of crew should not on board especially in first class!"
Nadelen: "The only reason this flight was not excellent is my bag was left in Helsinki and not transferred with final flight leg to Manchester"
Voordelen: "Kindness of the staff, quick check in, wonderful healthy food, my seat and overall experience."
Nadelen: "Limited controls on the entertainment."
Nadelen: "Arrival to destination with 7 hours delay."
Voordelen: "Terrible check in in NY. 3 customer service reps for premium, 1 for economy class. [Flew premium economy to Helsinki and business to Warsaw] arrived late to Helsinki. Had to wait 8 hours. Food on the plane to Helsinki looked like vomit Never again. Afraid that on a way back the plane will be late again"
Voordelen: "I got an extra blanket."
Nadelen: "We waited on the runaway for 3 hours without any service, not a sip of water. When I finally arrived in Helsinki, I missed my connection to Riga and was rescheduled for a flight 6 hours later even though there were two flights leaving before then. Also I requested vegetarian meal online, but was not served vegetarian. They did not have any extras."

Nadelen: "Plane was late taking off and almost missed my next connection. Due to landing late my luggage did not make it on make it on my flight. However the airline delivered to my place the following morning. It was not an inconvenience to me as the baggage was delivered in a timely fashion. Thank you Finnair!"
Voordelen: "Express customs and immigration for connective flights with individual passes!"
Nadelen: "Total disaster. Back up lines at AA JFK . Staff at a loss, equipment ? Shortage of bins, no supervisors , ... deliberate chatting and slowing down upon manually going through majority of carry on."

Voordelen: "nonstop to Helsinki was great...I have done this route over 100 times and this was the first time non-stop. When you have 17-19 hours travel time in your head door to door and then it is 12 - you really appreciate the extra time. THANK YOU!"

Nadelen: "Seats are too close and not enough space for my legs. I am 187 (6'2"). No outlets to charge your phone. For me it is important on the long flight."

Voordelen: "It was interesting that the flight from Helsinki to Chicago served a Indian style dinner comprising of lentils, rice and chickpeas. I liked that too, though I prefer the meditarranean fare. My kids liked the macaroni and meat dinner. The plane was clean and comfortable"
Nadelen: "The flight attendants could have been a bit more cordial and smiling. The dessert was only a choclate. Would have liked something better. Entertainment needed more variety. Boarding was a bit of a mess as they did not let families board first and were not very accomodative of families with small children, though I had a 9 year old, but there was a family with two very small children and they were not very helpful to them."

Nadelen: "The boarding control in JFK, Terminal 8 is extremely slow. It had taken about 2 hours to get in. Arrgh!"
Voordelen: "World best airline since my last flight to Hong Kong. New aircraft with the most confortable and complete flight experience I had in years in economy class. Seat confort, movie selection and quality of the screen, food quality, boarding speed, cabine pressure, all was immaculate."
Nadelen: "They promised an upgrade to premium economy and then they didn't follow through, they lied when they said that row 30 was premium economy, all this felt very very weird. Jacqueline the flight attendant recognised the problem and gave us premium headphones to make up for the error."
Voordelen: "Very simple but reliable and confortable flight. We got clear instructions to get to the next terminal"
Nadelen: "We took off late and arrived even later so we had to run to get to the next plane"
Voordelen: "The flight was on time, crew worked really well. The food was okey as usual on Finnair."
Nadelen: "We paid for economy comfort and signed up for the 2x2 seats. Instead we received the 2 seats in the middle of 4. we were more than upset, there is no way we would every request the 2 worst seats in that area and given my husband is 6'6' Did not make for a happy experience."

Voordelen: "The staff were thoughtful and kind. They checked on us and offered snacks and water very regularly. My favorite, though, was that the captain took the time to alert us to the sights out the window. We had closed the shades at the request of the attendants and would have missed the beauty of Greenland had he not alerted us to peak out. I appreciate that!"

Voordelen: "Airbus 350, quiet and smooth. Wifi, booking a taxi on board and being met on arrival. Good seats in business."
Nadelen: "Bag collection was chaos and took too long, it's not such a busy airport"
Nadelen: "Touch screen TV harder to switch channels/choices. You either touch hard or harder on screen (mostly few times)."
Nadelen: "I missed my flight from Chicago to Paris. Because I purchased it through Kayak instead of directly through Finnair or American Airlines, their 'hands were tied' and they could not reroute nor reschedule me. Not only that, but because I was not on the flight to Paris, my returning flights were automatically cancelled. While this is probably included in the fine print etc., I find it ridiculous. There should be a better alternative for people who miss their flights than forcing them to pay a lump sum that is higher than the original ticket price in order to reschedule their ticket. Moral of the story: BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN YOU BUY THROUGH KAYAK OR SIMILAR AGENCIES, BECAUSE THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ATROCIOUS."

Nadelen: "nobody from justfly and kayak even tried to argued that I didn't missed the flight and I was one of hundreds that was in line way before flight time"
Voordelen: "The meeting I was attending in NY got postponed so I lost the full 1/2 return ticket. Nothing I could do, all at once all kinds of small text appear in big and over 400 $ was lost. This is the last time I book with Kayak. Better pay a bit more directly with the airline but do not have a deal like the Kayak deal. So please remove from all your sites. Thank you VV"

Nadelen: "This flight was operated by BA. Seats were incredibly uncomfortable. When the guy in front of me reclined his head was practically in my lap. TV's were crappy and the in-flight selection was mediocre. In flights announcements were very loud through headphones."

Delta airlines n’est pas une compagnie au niveau d’Air France. Les plateaux repas sont décevants et le personnel navigants est désagréables et quelque peu brutales, constamment énervés et peu prompt à répondre aux demandes des passagers.

Aucune empathie du personnel d embarquement. J ai manque ma correspondance ferroviaire a la destination finale ma valise ayant ete mise en soute de force (sans raison car il y avait largement la place). Ma valise (fragile) est toute rayee... merci air france. C est la derniere fois que je prends cette compagnie

The cabin crew was friendly. But boarding takes forever and the flight gad long delays on both inbound and outbound flight

It was so helpful to be able to board the plane front and back. It makes it so much faster. It was also helpful announcements were made in French and English. I cannot thing of anything that would have made that short flight better.
