Voordelen: "Great crew, smooth boarding. The dinner was fine, salmon on rice, salad, cheese and desert, of good quality when compared to typical airline food. The breakfast was ok, fruit, muffin and ok cereal bar, too carb-heavy though. The entertainment offered my options. I particularely enjoyed the "Deep-Sleep" relaxation audios which indeed helped me to get some shut-eye during the overnight flight that left the East Coast late afternoon."
Nadelen: "The comfort in the economy class is mediocre at best. We had more space on the inner-German connection, see next review, than the international flight. The beverage service was skimpy. Flight arrived Dusseldorf on time and then spend 20 minutes on the ground, waiting for a gate, resulting in a scramble to reach our connection."

Many people on the flight from NY to Brussels were scheduled on this flight and that plane landed in time that this flight would only need to be delayed 10 minutes to allow for us to connect. However, they decided to leave all of us with a long unexpected layover in Brussels, costing many of us a day of what was supposed to be a short vacation for most."

Nadelen: "When I purchased my flight ticket , I purchased with a checked bag (23 kg /50 #) how ever ( who will fly to Ukraine with a 10kg suitcase) I booked for a KLM flight , they used (partener airlines ) when I arrived to LA I flew with Delta , they checked my Suitcase at no cost all the way to my final destinations , that was expected ! When I was going to return , they made me payed 120 dollars ( in Kiev , Ukraine (UIA) , I was very disappointed and I really will love an explanation about all this !"

Nadelen: "The fact that you cheapskates don't allow credit or refund is downright usury. I didn't take that flight because of medical issues that caused me to cancel my trip 2 weeks in advance. I pleaded with you to be able to take a credit, to no avail. You lost a customer."

Nadelen: "The usual Air France flights to Rome, that I have been flying for years, are now operated by Joon. For a couple months nothing changed, except the way the crew dressed. But now Joon is showing its true nature as a LOW COST airline.Seats cramped. Snacks and apple juice are now available for purchase only."
Voordelen: "That I was able to sleep a bit on the flight - and that we gained an hour."
Nadelen: "It left at 6 am. Which means we had a wake up call from the airport hotel at 3:30 am to stand in line with hundreds of others. The Air France app on my phone didn't let me pre- check in."

Nadelen: "Boarding agent forced me to check in my carry-on even though the carry-on fit in the cage and fullfilled all the requirements. I specifically called Air France prior to the flight to make sure I won’t have any issues as my 1st flight was operated by Delta and I wanted to confirm the luggage requirements were the same. My carry-on weighted only 5 kilos. I was extremely upset the way I was treated w/ the boarding agent behind the counter in Prague. On the top of that, her and the supervisor were very rude to my mom as they told her she had an extra carry-on which wasn’t the case. She traveled w/ a small briefcase where her mask for sleep apnea was. This is not considered an additional carry-on. The boarding agent (Czech lady and her supervisor) were not only rude but obviously lacked knowledge as well. My carry-on suitcase would easily fit in the overhead bin plus there was plenty of space inside the plane as it the flight wasn’t completely full."
Voordelen: "Good size plane. It didn’t end up being full so there was plenty of room to move around. Quick flight and easy."

Nadelen: "Entertainment screen did not work; in neighboring seat it could not be switched off when we wanted to sleep; sourly employees everywhere (re-booking counter an exception); food close not being edible and cold; I forgot my watch on when going through security in the Air France terminal; when I started to say "sorry" I was yelled at by the screener who said that she will do the talking; she sent me back through the scanner twice without my watch, then once more with the carry-on and made sure that I went to the end of a very long line to wait for another screening rather than having me just go through the scanner without my watch. Needless to say, there was nothing else suspicious about me once the watch was removed. Eager to exercise her power, the security person did not seem to consider that she slowed down a long line of people waiting to be screened. I should add that I am 73 yrs old grey haired female who has traveled a lot both for pleasure and business during my entire life, often to some difficult places and that I do not argue with or provoke those in power in a situation like this. The yelling and the sending me repeatedly through the scanner, which did not beep once the watch was removed, was beyond anything I had experienced anywhere else. The sending me to the very end of the line seemed outright spiteful. (I did miss the plane connection.)"

Nadelen: "It is very difficult to get around CDG airport with a disabled person. There is no shuttle. By the time we got to check in, we were ten minutes late. They would not check us in, and we paid over $700 to change tickets to the next flight. When I complained, I was told to stop being rude or I would get no ticket at all. My mother is 94 years old and we did the best we could given the circumstance."

If this were not enough, the airline also lost one of our bags so this week we have to file for compensation for both begin downgraded and for the contents of our 30 kilo bag which never made it to Ho Chi Minh. Air France was a complete and total disaster and I would strongly recommend all friends and colleagues to find alternative airlines for travel"

Nadelen: "Had to check in our underweight small carry on because there was no space left. Left out hotel at 3.15am. A dry croissant did not satisfy three hungry children for breakfast, the coffee was terrible and the seats too close together. Not a good experience."
Voordelen: "The crew is great, with their typical slightly humourous and casual French attitude. Great collection of international quality movies."
Nadelen: "Average and disappointing sitting space. The vegan lacto-ovo meal is disappointing."
Voordelen: "Personal treatment I have received as I was with a 7 months baby. An agent helps me to carry my hand luggages up to the plane entrance and to pass in priority"

Voordelen: "full Meal service in coach , customer service , free wine , personal entertainment, power outlets , everything !"
Nadelen: "Bottom seat cushions could be a little more comfortable ."
Voordelen: "Premium Economy on AF Boeing 777 on this route is not "a little less than Business", but rather "a little more than Economy". Seats, in a 2-4-2 configuration, are hard but OK, as well as the pitch. Good screens and entertainment."
Nadelen: "With the main meal, AF serves only "ordinary wine", This looks and tastes cheap. On the same route and class, Vietnam Airlines serves premium wines, a nice touch that would not cost fortunes to AF! Also, the "Asian" choice for the main course did not look and taste like the real thing."
Nadelen: "Everything. AF changed seats without authorization or notification, separating a mother from her 3 year old daughter. Their entire attitude was "nothing to be done, now board plane and leave" no compensation was offered, nothing done to remedy their mistake or rude behavior and treatment"
Nadelen: "We were rebooked, which understandably happens for any number of reasons. However, we were not informed or asked about our preference until our luggage was checked through! The staff especially in Chicago where we began this awful experience couldn't care less about our situation. Then AIr France lost our luggage and provided no help in locating them. We had to rely on folks who had friends working in Zagreb Airport to locate them. Air France is incompetent, insensitive and unprofessional. If you have an important trip avoid Air France - they treat you like captives not customers."
Voordelen: "The crew was very nice and helpful."
Nadelen: "The food was really poor. The chicken was as dry as it can be. The food taste was poor. I flow 3 weeks ago with KLM and the food was pretty good for flight food. Plus I didn't get my baggage at the end."

Voordelen: "I am a 70 year old woman with reduced mobility. The flight attendants made sure that I was given an aisle seat and they helped me find a seat with two empty ones next to me. The crew could not have been kinder."
Nadelen: "There is nothing I did not like."
Voordelen: "It was a short flight."
Nadelen: "Seat to seat space OK for anyone under 4 ft tall. Pressed intoth seat framein front, I couldn't even turn or get my feet under the seat to extend."
Voordelen: "Loved the movie selection and the food was good too."
Nadelen: "Too many interruptions. Every time there's an announcement, it interrupts the movies and some of the announcements were completely unnecessary and there were so many of them, it was like constant interruptions, really annoying."
Voordelen: "The crew was very comfortable speaking two languages and friendly. They also had air conditioning! This was great because it was strangely hot in Paris and we were sweating profusely. And our last air france experience we were so hot and it was aweful. Even though it was like an hour and a half flight they still served us sandwiches ,really good."
Voordelen: "Entertainment center is brand new and Cleanliness Crew was ok And yeah there's wine (that way you can get plastered and ignore the uncomfortable seats)"
Nadelen: "Checking in was ridiculous. They're charging for literally EVERYTHING now. On economy class you have many options: - Normal (free!) "ergonomic" seats: uncomfortable, narrow, really close to the one in front of you. - Normal (exit row): just give up. There's like 6 of these and they're taken immediately. - Normal (middle of the plane): are you kidding me? These are NORMAL seats and you charge an extra €30? - Normal (2 seats per row!): what a bargain. Same crappy seats, but two people instead of three! This is really worth my money. - Upgrade to business! Why are you so poor! AF food went from being the best in international flights to disgusting microwave food (especially vegetarian)."
Voordelen: "The aircrew are very friendly. The staff at CDG were very helpfull with our connecting flight."
Nadelen: "The seats are very cramped for tall people, especially when the passenger in front of you reclines their seat."
Voordelen: "That the flight wasn't affected due to the air crew strike."
Nadelen: "Food was cold and inedible for a vegetarian. My special request for vegetarian food was not met. We were not alerted on this or else we would have brought food on board. The time taken to clear custom was too long, we didn't have enough time to claim VAT and had to rush to board the plane despite being at the airport 3 hours before flight."

Nadelen: "The plane was very cramped. Small seats and my backpack could not even fit under the seat."
Voordelen: "Crew member were nice, plane look clean and it was really comfortable the seats."
Nadelen: "There was confusion from the crew members at boarding moment. They look confuse and it was a delay"

Nadelen: "I struggled to check in online line not user friendly site And then I went to the airport early and stood in a question for 1h50min to check in and they where difficult with because my bag was exactly 24kg and asked me to remove something I have flown oven over 50times I my life and this would be the firest and last time with air France"

Nadelen: "Food serving is too small. Headphones should already be available before I arrive at my seat. Seat is comfortable, but not suitable for flight."

Nadelen: "The plane was an Airbus 330. I'm 6'2" and was uncomfortable in the seat for 7 1/2 hours. My knees hit the seat in front, and later the person there reclined to make things even worse. Since I couldn't slouch, my head was far above the seat back. I realize airlines are squeezing space and this trend will continue. It's become an accessibility problem for me."

Voordelen: "The plane arrived safely, it will get you where you want to go."
Nadelen: "Like everyone says, you are cattle jammed in a sardine can. Barely any leg room and I’m 5’3. Other thoughts: the plane was old, my seat had a lump in it, zero entertainment, food was over priced. (3 Euro for a tiny water). This may seem petty but ultimately the appearance and function of the plane represents their company as a whole. From my first impressions, I’m thinking as a passenger is: I just hope the age and appearance of the plane isn’t reflective of their repairs and maintenance work as well."

Nadelen: "Couldn't check in online and couldn't get my boarding pass to my second flight through Iberia, had to do it at Madrid and it was very inconvenient."

Nadelen: "The internet was very, very expensive! $35 for very very slow internet that didn't work half of the time. Also, before I departed from the US, the customer service rep at JFK made me purchase a refundable plane ticket for $2500, and charged me a non refundable fee of $35 for booking the flight for me ( I asked how to do it via the Iberia website on my phone and she refused to help me, and the website makes it extremely not obvious how to book a refundable flight). She said because my flight was one way to Europe I had to have an onward flight, even though I was traveling by car outside of Europe. She said that they would ask me for it at customs when I arrived in Europe. Well they have never asked me for this before, and they did not ask me this time either when I arrived, so this whole exercise was pointless. When I called to get my ticket refunded, they also charged me a $25 fee for refunding the ticket, which the agent in NY did not tell me about. So I just ate $60 for no reason. In addition, the customer service person was very rude about the whole thing."

Voordelen: "I liked the food and the fact that we could have wine with dinner."
Nadelen: "I didn't like the boarding procedure. There was an announcement for business class first, but then there wasn't enough said about the rest of the boarding i.e. "Group one can board now." Everyone was moving forward whether they were in group 1, 2, or 3. It was disorganized and not handled in a fair and efficient manner."
Voordelen: "This was a long international flight so we got dinner, snack, and breakfast included. Food was decent, service fine, and entertainment selection was good. Also, since it was not a full flight, there was extra room and therefore a comfortable flight."

Voordelen: "Very good food overall. Picking up utensils a little slow. Good coffee. Lavatories were accessible at all times. I was able to get aisle seat without a hassle. Good movie selection l. Movie quality itself was disappointing l."

Nadelen: "Check in gave my wife 2 seats on Madrid to Dusseldorf flight plus 1 for myself. On connecting flight from Dusseldorf to San Francisco she only gave a boarding pass to my wife so we had to scramble when we got to Dusseldorf to have AirBerlin resolve the issue."

Nadelen: "Had to buy food and the sandwiches were soggy. Wouldn't accept credit cards at first, staff tried to push cash payment until finally getting a different credit card readee that worked."
Nadelen: "I am still waiting for my luggage. It was lost between the flight from Amsterdam to Madrid and a flight from Madrid to San Juan. It is already 1 week."
Voordelen: "I liked the entertainment, the food and the good service from the ladies and gentlemen"
Nadelen: "the flight over LAX to Madrid was horrible. An old plane, both my husband and I had broken seats, no screens, and no charging capability. The flight from MAD to LAX was much better with a newer plan. I would however, not fly with Iberia again, because the out bound flight was so awaful. So average rating is okay."

Voordelen: "Boarding and disembarking were the best things about this flight. The piloting was smooth too."
Nadelen: "Stewardesses were unfriendly and rude. Long flight, without individual entertainment on seats. Old plane, extremely cramped. The meal request made when booking the flight was not honored. Upon arrival to US customs, was told I was not on the passenger list (thus clearing customs was a bit touchy)."
Nadelen: "Wasn't able to board in Munich still stuck their ... They wouldn't work with me to either give a refund full or partial and weren't able to give me a credit to rebook at a later date ... I was unable to board due to an error on my green card that I was unaware of ... Iberia says I is considered a no show and wouldn't budge ... Once I'm able to reschedule my flight I will be looking at other airlines"

Voordelen: "It took off and landed safely. We all arrived in Madrid."
Nadelen: "It was a very short flight, so I didn't mind much that there wasn't wifi or phone charging, or movies. Snacks and beverages were for purchase, which would have been annoying if I had needed any. Thank goodness it was short."
Voordelen: "Good entertainment provision. Good complimentary meals provided."
Nadelen: "Cold air temperature."
Voordelen: "The crew was friendly and answered questions to our worry the best they could."
Nadelen: "First of all, I have severe anxiety while flying. Though my husband and I booked our seats together, Iberia moved us to different seats both flights. Why? Secondly, in my already fear of being on the opposite side of the plane as my husband, a couple rows back from me a man died on our flight - before take off. The crew and a few passengers did all they knew how to do with CPR, but it was chaotic. Too many people were surrounding him and passengers were getting involved where they should have just stayed out of the way. Needless to say, this was the worst flight I have been on in my entire life. It took the paramedics 40 minutes to get to him. That is terrifying to me. Thankfully there were a couple passengers that were doctors and nurses. I had to breathe into a bag to keep from fainting. Luckily, a couple of passengers traded seats with my husband so he could comfort me in this nightmare. I feel horrible for the man that lost his life on that flight."

Nadelen: "My bag was lost and still has not been found and it has been over 24 hours. I am extremely upset with the incompetency and will not fly Iberia or Vueling again."

Voordelen: "I have previously travel in Iberia, and I was not happy with everything, but this time I have been impressed with the service and food, the new airplane everything was excellent, and I have recovered my desires to travel with Iberia in a near future. Excellent service by the crew, great food service, newer airplane with all the amenities, great selection on movies."
Nadelen: "Still waiting for our two bikes that we paid an extra $150 to bring them with us."
