Nadelen: "From the moment I arrived at the airport, the machines would not accept my passport, then when they finally did, they would not print my boarding pass. The staff at Athens airport were not at all friendly nor welcoming. Their system had booked me into a middle seat near the front of the aircraft even though there were empty rows a little further back. Why not fill aisle and window seats first? So I had to change my seat during check-in. The original aircraft was apparently due for some sort of inspection which was unscheduled and they had to change our aircraft (either a really poor job by aircraft operations, or code that something bigger was wrong). This delayed the flight. But it wasn't until after we had all boarded the busses going to the out gate that they realized this was going to be an issue. Get off the bus, back inside the gate area, and wait for more information. The plane we were on seemed very old and in need of much attention as there were large spots of missing paying along the wing (just outside my window)."

After doing so I go through security and get to the boarding line where the female from the check in counter was the one scanning boarding passes and asked why I had my bag. I told her I had removed the liquids to carry it on instead of paying again. She told me this was not allowed and made me go back out of security to the ticketing line to pay for my bag or not get on the flight. I have carried this bag on every flight through 8 countries backpacking and had only considered checking this time because I had bought a small souvenir wine bottle but decided to forego having it in my bag. I've never experienced such poor customer service."

Plane was an older 747. I will not flight long hault with KLM again."

We finally found the representative to Air Belin to check us in at the Frankfurt Airport to find out we will be flying with Balkan Airline at another terminal. The same thing happened on the way back. Luckily we arrived at the airport early both times to make sure we were flying. But getting information from one airline to another is hard when your booking # & flight number is different for each airline, & when you call the airline they tell you to go to the airport as they cannot help you over the phone. The flight was find but to board is another."

I was given new boarding ticket for the next day's flight along with vouchers for the hotel and meals. The hotel was inside the airport and had a late check out and I was able to keep my carry on luggage in the room for most of the day."

At Vienna airport, no one knew where I could get the boarding pass. They sent back and forth between terminals and between airlines check in counters. Finally Austrian airlines issued the boarding pass. My bag did not arrive in Sophia. Two other passengers, who had also transferred, did not receive their luggage either."

Voordelen: "The crew on this Bulgaria Air flight was great. I was feeling sick on a previous flight and they noticed right away and moved me to Business Class and checked on me frequently throughout the flight to make sure I was OK. Very grateful for everything they did."
Nadelen: "Once again at checkin at Tegel, no compassion showed by airport agents - I was accused of being drunk, no one cared if I was OK or not, just if I was a liability. In the times we live in, I guess that is to be expected. Glad my stay in Germany wasn't longer. Once again, I am convinced they are more like robots than humans."

Nadelen: "FUYEZ WIZZAIR.... quels escrocs!! on a du payer près de 150€ en plus à 3 pour nos cartes d'embarquement car nous n'avions pas pu le faire en ligne (leur site ne fonctionnait pas!) et le gars nous explique "c'est normal, c'est ça les compagnies lowcost" on ne nous y prendra pas deux fois!"

Nadelen: "They didn't let me flight. Even that I did the online check in 24 hours before they didn't send me the boarding pass on PDF format via email. Also there were no way to download it from the mobile app or the website. I was in the airport 2 hours before and they didn't want to print it for me even that I showed all the online check in confirmation. They requested that I pay €35 Euro for the airport print. I submitted a complain and hope to get a credit or refund. Confirmation code: L3QZWB"

The clerk raised his voice and was disrespectful to me and other customers. The flight itself was ok, nothing special but not bad either."

Nadelen: "Bit slow in opening the gate for people to get on. They expect to cram you like sardines on a hot staircase with no where to go when there is other people being checked in to board behind you, really stupid and possibly sadistic."

Voordelen: "Cost was ok but you get into the trap where every turn is a cost option. The cost can climb to the point where other scheduled flights compete."
Nadelen: "The web site is laborious. Checking in was 48hrs prior and frankly you should be able to choose what remaining seats are available as a no cost option. You can choose prior to the 48hrs at cost (i was never given option on a 3rd party site when i booked!) Checking in should be longer than 3 hrs! Because if you book a exec lounge which is air side you lose 1.5 hrs as a minimum in the process of checking in luggage and security checks. Lose .5 hr+ to go to gate and you get 1hr only when you pay for 3 hrs! Where is the sense in that? Its miss-selling at its worst as everyone is complicit. Flight left 20min late for no apparent reason Seats are a bit stone age and hard although only a short flight my ar*e went to sleep before I could"

Fares are competitive, but long list of extra charges is annoying. Boarding was chaotic at airport, with no attempt at crowd control. No water was served on flight."

Voordelen: "For the first time I am saying thanks to Wizzair for being late in departure time, otherwise I would not manage my flight back to Warsaw."

I understand that this is a budget airline, but I didn't like (1) paying for standard cabin luggage and (2) having to dig around the site to locate the relevant information for our particular situation. The policy differs based on type of ticket (cost tiers) and start/end points. It took a while to figure out when doing my research on prospective airlines. COMFORT. The seats were uncomfortable. NO PERKS. You have to pay for everything, including checking in at the airport, choosing a seat, and any drinks/snacks on the flight."

Nadelen: "The plane was delayed for one hour. The gate was announced only 5 mins before boarding. Not enough to do during this time in the small airport. The meal selection on board was non-existent"

Nadelen: "Ik zat bij de nooduitgang. Normaal wordt je voor het vliegen geïnstrueerd voor wat je moet doen in een noodsituatie. Minimaal wordt je gevraagd om de instructies door te nemen. Zowel op de heen als de terugvlucht is dat door geen van het cabine personeel gedaan."

Schandalige manier van zaken doen, niks klant is koning..Ryan air is koning van het uitknijpen van passagiers"

Voordelen: "De façon objective malheureusement rien."
Nadelen: "Nous avons l'habitude de voyager (plus d'une 100aine de vols à notre actif) en court et long courrier et c'est la première fois qu'on assiste à une telle scène de chaos. Un accident a rendu la piste impraticable pendant 2h. L'accident est imprévisible mais sa gestion une honte. Malgré cela on nous a fait embarquer après 15minutes passées au pic du soleil à 38•C, afin que nous soyons au frais et assis dans l'avion. Après 30min le commandant de bord nous a indiqué quon serait mieux dans le hall de l'aéroport. Nous sommes donc descendu pour se retrouver parquer, et j'insiste sur le terme, dans un hall où les passagers des 6 vols suivants prenaient déjà toute la place. Nous nous sommes donc retrouvés englouti sous une masse de passagers sans savoir si nous devions attendre ou se réorganiser. Nous avons passé 1h30 à attendre debout dans un hall où la climatisation ne pouvait plus refroidir au vue du nombre de passagers. Passagers collés les uns aux autres tellement il n'y avait plus de place. Dans ces passagers : des enfants en bas âge, des personnes âgées, des femmes enceintes. 1h30 à 38•C sans Air puisque toutes les portes fermées. Le calvaire a continué dans l'avion où le personnel de la compagnie Ryanair ne s'est pas excusé et ne nous a jamais proposé un seul verre d'eau durant ces deux heures de retard. Ils ont préféré proposer des bouteilles de 50cl à 5euros. Aucune facilité pour personne, aucune aide, aucun service. Une prise en charge médiocre malgré des passagers on ne peut plus patients. PS : et pour couronner le tout, un décollage et un atterrissage des moins qualitatifs que nous avons pu vivre."

Voordelen: "Uitstekende prijs kwaliteit verhouding,goede koffie (dus dan is betalen geen probleem..) Eindhoven is zoveel handiger dan Schiphol. Parkeren is ook ideaal geregeld."
Nadelen: "Op het laatste moment terminal aangeven. Gedring van mensen om aan boord te komen, snap dat het snel moet maar zou toch meer orde moeten zijn."

Voordelen: "Goede prijs / kwaliteit verhouding."

Nadelen: "Se présenter à l'embarquement et devoir payer 45€ supplémentaires par personne, sans aucune raison particulière ; à mon sens et jusque là "low cost" n'était pas synonyme d'arnaque au consommateur .. visiblement j'avais tort. Il n'est jamais précisé que l'enregistrement est obligatoire, facultatif, peut-être, mais obligatoire ? Du vol et de l'abus purement et simplement. J'ose éspérer que vous saurez profiter de tout l'argent que vous m'avez extorqué par des pratiques moyennement commerciale, car c'était bel et bien la dernière fois que je venais vous solliciter !"

Voordelen: "Korte vlucht zonder vertraging. Wel behoorlijk strenge controle op vloeistoffen. Verder geen bijzonderheden."

Nadelen: "Retard de 3h. Avion en retard à l'embarquement. Envol interrompu en milieu de piste à Marseille. Attente de plus de 2h pour intervention de maintenance. A l'arrivée sur Charleroi, premier atterrissage raté à cause d'un soi disant brouillard. 2ème atterrissage pas top mais sans incident. Bref un vol à oublier. Le commandant de bord et l'équipage n'étaient pas très bons"

Nous avons attendu sur le tarmac de l'aéroport de Beauvais pendant plus de 30 minutes avec femmes enceintes et personnes agées. Très mauvais points : horaire, communication et confort. Le low cost ne dispense pas des règles de bases."

Nadelen: "Je n'ai rien pu aimer car je suis restée avec mes 2 enfants de 4 ans et 23 mois sans pouvoir prendre l'avion faute d'une carte d'identité en retard pour mon dernier malgré le livret de famille et l'extrait d'acte de naissance avec photo. Aucun dialogue possible avec le responsable, que nous n'avons même pas vu d'ailleurs ! Je vous laisse imaginer la suite: pleurs de déception des loulous, mission commando pour trouver un train... Arrivée à plus de 23h à destination. Petite anecdote c'était un vol interne, pas de sortie du territoire français! Quelle différence avec le train pour le même voyage où personne ne m'a demandé de justifier de la nationalité de mon enfant!!!"

Ik moest alles zelf doen buggy plat plooien,zelf mijn dochter op de trap helpen. Zelf bij uit uitstappen heb al met andere maatschappijen gevlogen en daar was het wel te merk dat ze kindvriendelijk zijn. zelf bij het inchecken moest ik mee aanschuiven terwijl bij andere maatschappijen je voor mag gaan met kinderen.
