There was an aircraft change (which caused an uncomfortable flight) in the last hour and was not given an option in advance to switch flights.

I request for vegetarian food but they are asking me what kind of food you want. Service is slow.

Shorter layover time

Better quality control of food - one of the baby tomatoes served in salad had a hole made by an insect. Showed it to staff and they offered a replacement. But they need to make sure it doesn't happen again with other passengers.

Flight was great, and the crew was outstanding. The check in process in Brisbane was frustrating. Very few staff, long wait, and ridiculous process for the bag check. We were not the only ones frustrated. The system could definitely use improvement. We love this airline overall, and truly - this was our only complaint.

The only vegetarian food is also vegan, this primarily consisted of tiny trays of overbuild veg that must have contained about 150 calories, after about 12 hours I felt like I was literally starving. As I'd been stuck in the middle seat going to the galley to request snacks was difficult. I would buy your own food in the airport.

The steak was overcooked and grey throughout, prawn starter was tasteless and bland, and panna cotta was overly sweet and weirdly goopy. The dinner options were so uninspiring that I skipped. I understand that it's airline food - but don't offer it if you can't at least make it slightly acceptable.... The staff was a bit all over the place and slow - it seems like having the flight at capacity was too much for them to handle. The sets in business are really starting to show their age and need a really need a steam clean."

The crew was not very friendly during the flight (I understand maybe they had a cranky passenger before and it was a long flight but smiling isnt that hard!). Inflight service was inconsistent as one side came down to serve 15minutes after the first side. The headphones looked quite dirty so I used my own. Boarding was quite slow and then takeoff was late but it was nice that the captain explained it."

Nadelen: "They let us know by email little before departure that there would be a delay of 1h 15 min in our arrival to London. This made me uneasy from the very beginning that I would lose my London-Luxembourg flight. The crew in the boarding gate, only after much insisting, said they would make a note so that someone from Qantas would wait for me and help me get my London-Luxembourg flight no problem, but in the next stopovers (Melbourne, Dubai), there was no sign of this. Also, the delay in the end was 2h 20 min - and I lost my flight to Luxembourg."

Food was better on Bangkok Air 1 hour flight. Breakfast, a pastry in a box and a muffin on a serviette. No fruit or yogurt ... nothing else. awful Couple of times crew were rude to other passengers (not myself) but generally were not as happy, helpful as previous Qantas flights Smaller plane with less seatroom than my Emirates flight in the other direction"

Voordelen: "registration was easy and well organized. Kosher food was perfect and served timely. Crew was polite and helping immediately. Everything was comfortable, except the quality of earphones ."

Entertainment options are poor. Add latest movies (Bollywood, Holywood, European...), TV shows/comedy etc.

I liked the service of the crew and the chk in staff. Crew should insist on putting the mask for the passengers.

Business class. The crew was very responsive and courteous. The lay flat seats were good, but can be slightly (1 or 2 inches) wider. I am not big, but not much space for arms while lying down on back. Getting out of the front facing window seat in business class was not easy - no hand holds or other devices to help stand up from the seat in upright position to get out into the aisle. The food tray sould be able to be brought closer to the passenger while eating. Overall, good, but not as good as in some other airline business class.

Overall experience except baggage collection in Chicago was good. In Chicago, baggages from many flights routed to single domestic carousel that had caused lots of mess and many had to wait for more than 90 minutes to collect the baggage as Etihad baggages were released in pockets due to priorities given to other domestic flights baggage

Voordelen: "The crew was good. Loved the mango juice and veg food."
Nadelen: "The seats are hard. More leg room please. Better entertainment with more recent clicks required. Toilet seat needs to stay upright. The eating tables should be straight. Should be able to recline our seats more."
Voordelen: "crew was good. Seat was good but it was a business class seat in a 787-9; so it should be good."
Nadelen: "wines were mediocre which was balanced out by the good quality of the food. Brussels to Abu Dabhi boarding was a little chaotic with coach and front cabin passesgers packed in a single bus. Noticed many older passengers standing for the longish bus ride."
Voordelen: "The seat were comfortable."
Nadelen: "Crew was cold and and very matter of fact. The food was very so-so. The food items have to be purchased other the food trays served unlike Turkish Airlines and Kuwaiti Airlines."
Voordelen: "My seat was dripping from the top and I got my shirt wet while I dozed off!! The cabin crew gave a bundle of tissue saying, "pls help yourself""
Nadelen: "The flight condition should have been better and the Etihad should learn how to help guests reach their destinations on time"

Nadelen: "Le racket de cette compagnie commence dès l'enregistrement. Nous étions en famille avec deux enfants. Premier bonheur de devoir payer 63 euros de plus pour éviter d'être disséminés aux 4 coins de l'avion, le système par défaut ayant fait cela !!! Deuxième bonheur l'avion est en fait quasi vide.."
Voordelen: "Main meal (Singapore noodles) was actually ok."
Nadelen: "The cabin crew had a very difficult time dealing with the annoying passengers, who were mainly tourists returning from Abu Dhabi. They had a tough job, but it was all very negative and stressful."

Voordelen: "Good news, the checking in process was so delayed as there were so many people, they made sure all who checked in, got on the plane, no hitches on the lugguages either. I got my lugguage in Singapore."
Nadelen: "JFK to Singapore through Abu Dhabi. The checking in process at JFK was a mess, it was a full flight. There were many people, trying checking in. Two lines, (1) checking in. (2) checked in, dropping off bags. Some of us who had checked in online was trying to drop off bags only. After waiting 1.5 hours, this line isn't moving at all, while the checking in line was moving. Tried telling the gentlemen in charge who worked there that the checked in line dropping off bagguage was not moving, he didn't really care, they made all kinds of excuses saying other people were waiting, so they were completely clueless as to what was going on. I have never experienced this ever and I fly massively each year. First and last time in Etihad. JFK to Abu Dhabi is a good 13 hour flight. NO SNACKS. SG/BA, or any other airline really has nice sandwishes, ramen, chocolate, cookies, chips. Etihad has NOTHING. Not that I snack but still with a 13 to 14 hour flight, airlines should have something to eat during long flights. Really. Etihad who brands and advertises brilliantly, was extremely disppointing to actually be on the flight."

Nadelen: "Everything else was not close to other comparative airlines. Food was horrible. Just FYI, cottage cheese is not the only food for Asian vegetarians. There actually are many other options. Not enough options for entertainment."

Voordelen: "That there was a vegetarian meal on the second leg of my travel. And that the journey is over. Besides that, not much"
Nadelen: "1 hour delay to begin with. Then trasfer area at Abu Dhabi was utter chaos. While it's suffocatingly crowded, there was no A.C! No vegetarian option for meal on the flight from Brussels to Abu Dhabi. The seats hurt by bottom. One of the worst flight seats ever. All in all, a totally underwhelming experience."

Nadelen: "they asked me to check-in my carry on (which i am always able to take with me, and which i was able to take with me on the first leg of even this journey). it came as a surprise and i was in a flux, Thank God I had my passport in my pocket or it would have turned into a nightmare (I keep my stuff e.g. jacket, wallet, etc in my carry on)"
Voordelen: "The flight crew were both considerate and kind."
Nadelen: "I disliked nothing."
Voordelen: "All ground staff and flight crew were welcoming , professional and helpful. The seats, trays, and screens were clean. The flight crew kept the restrooms clean, which can be quite a task on long flights. If Etihad is an option in my future travels, I will likely prefer them over other carriers."
Voordelen: "Having two seated aisle was fantastic for me and my partner because it meant we didn't feel like we were disturbing anyone if we wanted to get up and go to the bathroom and have a stretch. The chairs and leg room was okay, much better than our previous flight. You are fed lots of food so you never go hungry and the entertainment was good. Having USB ports to charge your phone or other devices is fantastic."
Voordelen: "Etihad transfer bus to Dubai from Abu Dhabi is free, super convenient, and a great experience!"

Nadelen: "1. Seat changes are done last minute despite booking the seats online with out informing us. I felt that there was no point securing online seating early. Difficult to adjust seats in the last minute. I was separated from my family. Given wrong information about seats. Had to real work with staff to finally get seats adjusted. Not very easy to work staff. Understanding of English is not that good. 2.Had problems checking the luggage all through despite connection was through star alliance. 3.Had to wait in airport in transit to get boarding passes. Did not understand why it was despite having booked seats early. 4.Seats provided were not good. 5.Also head phones didn't work. I told staff three times and still no response. Finally gave up i had booked because ratings were good. But service was not even close to expectations. Dissapointed."
Voordelen: "I loved that I got a free upgrade to Business class. The steward was so kind and attentive. He made the trip great! I enjoyed it all especially getting to really rest on an overnight flight!!"
Nadelen: "Nothing. It was all good!"
Nadelen: "They only had vegeterian options for the most part even when the expectation is that they would have at least some meat choices. They ran out of the meat options quickly. The crew was very nice though and arranged for a chicken meal at the end"

Voordelen: "I am extremely thankful for the service of ETIHAD Airline crew for their service. It was my very first time flying Etihad Airways and I was wearing a knee brace due t an injury yet the crew was able to accommodate me to a seat that had more leg room. Kudos to the staff and the airline crew for the great job they have done."
Voordelen: "Check in in Frankfurt. Black lady. Extremely helpful. Went out of her way. This is the people you need in the front line."
Nadelen: "Terribly old planes. Bad or non existent cabin service. Food not acceptable. Plastic noodle bowls with hot water. !?? Really!!"
Voordelen: "Après une heure dans l'avion sans climatisation malgré un personnel de bord irréprochable (distribution de boissons) on nous annonce le débarquement, diriger et abandonne dans un terminal malgré un repas offert, pas d'information après renseignement auprès d'un accompagnant de tour operator j'apprend qu'il faut se rendre à la même porte où nous embarqueront avec 4 heures de retard. Un grand merci au personnel de cabine mais le responsable au sol .... Mais en plus de 10 vol Ave Etihad c'est ma seul mauvaise expérience et de plus j'ai payer 200fr pour changer de vol et arriver 4 h 30 plus tôt résultat gagné 30 minutes oups"

Nadelen: "Le vol était complet et nous nous sommes vu proposés éventuellement un vol AF direct en remplacement. Après notre acceptation, en dernière minute, nous avons finalement embarqué sur ETIHAD. Là fut notre erreur car lors de la correspondance à Abu dhabi nous étions de nouveau surbooké à 23h00 ! malgré nos borading pass. Au bout de 2h de négociation nous avons obtenu une chambre d'hotel de 1h du matin à 6h.... pour reprendre le vol suivant à 8h30.... Aucune indemnisation, ni surclassement, as même un code wifi .... COMPAGNIE A EVITER A TOUT PRIS, c'est du LOW COST et le SAV est CATASTROPHIQUE.
