Nadelen: "I don't understand how this company has a high rating in service. We missed our connection because the plane was delayed and they treated us poorly. How can you have a complimentary lounge for people missing their flight but not allow people in. I guess because we were only economy. When asked could we pay for an upgrade to business class, the attendant responded with "oh, its expensive" I didn't ask how much, I asked if we could. I never felt so insulted. The food was terrible. By the time they got to us, our food was cold and they ran out of the menu item we wanted. I have no intention of flying Qatar again. I will stick with Emirates"

Nadelen: "Due to a misunderstanding at check-in we have been seated away from a baby bassinette (although booked) to sit together with my husband, nobody asked what my preference would be (sitting as a whole family or having a bassinette) and a 17-hour flight with a 9month old baby constantly on my lap was challenging. Also a very disappointing selection of films and documentaries for adults. I ended watching a kids movie with my older daughter and it was the only thing I found appealing. Kids section very good though, my 5-year old was glued to the screen and all the options had my approval :)"

They told me that medical report is required by the flight captain and this report will cost me 230 TL. I told them no need for their report but they told me that I may not travel and the male misbehaved againest my wife when she told him that no need for their medical assistant and he replied this is not your country. They sqwezed us at the last minute and my remaining family at the plane and they told me that I am not authorized to travel with my wife and small child. We are total of 9 passingers. We were only remaining at the lounge. I told them my remaining family are at plane and I must travel otherwize I am going to claime all charges againest Turkish airline. Finaly at last minute they let me board."

Nadelen: "About 8 hours into the flight the restrooms became very, VERY unclean--urine on the floors, sinks clogged, smelled terrible. More restroom maintenance was needed throughout this long flight. I thought this airline was the nicest I have been on save this one issue. It would be great if Turkish Airlines could resolve it in the future! Additionally the boarding process in Istanbul was like herding cattle. People weren't seated according to boarding group and it was absolute mayhem--no single file line, people shoving past one another to get seated first on the same plane."

Nadelen: "First let me tell you that when I booked a flight to Istanbul from Brussels, I booked, so I thought, the airport called Istanbul Ataturk with the initials of IST. What I got was SAW after I paid for a booking that said IST. Sabina Gokcen is one hour away further on the Asian side of Turkey. I did not want this airport! There was nothing I could do about this but bite the bullet & accept what I got since I was not allowed to have any corrections made after paying for this ticket. I am highly disappointed with Kayak. The first time you have disappointed me greatly!"

Nadelen: "We boarded on time but the flight didn't leave for another 45 minutes or so. This made me miss my next flight when I landed in Instanbul. I think they might have been doing extra checks on the plane so it's fine. Even though I missed my flight and it was out of my control, I was able get another flight within 5 hours and free of charge!"

Nadelen: "Hot in the plane during and after boarding - no cool air. I have come to expect more from Turkish Airlines, and I hope they make sure they improve this aspect."

Nadelen: "C est un scandale: l embarquement m a ete refusé pretendant un risque de fraude avec ma carte. J ai recu une confirmation de paiement, j ai fait l enregistrement, j ai passe la frontiere. Et je n ai pas pu monter dans le vol!!! Je n ai recu aucun message avant le vol. J ai perdu un week end avec mon mari que je ne vois jamais car il vit a l autre bout du monde."

Nadelen: "Boarding was unpleasant. Buses to aircraft: had to wait approx 10 mins in the bus on the tarmac whilst the previous two buses unloaded. Then the actual staircase / boarding process took nearly 10 minutes... queueing in 41 degree heat. Muscat is a very new airport and many gates with airbridges were not being used. As the home airport of the national carrier I wouldn't expect tarmac boarding."

Need to give out more water on flight to combat dehydration as well. Stopping in Muscat's terminal was like a time warp back to a 1970s mall. Also no direct connection to terminal, planes park out on tarmac and take people on 1 km bus ride to connect to terminal. Legroom was pretty tight but not horrid Crew making announcements on landing were unprofessional, heard co-pilot or steward laughing in the background - while captain droned on in Arabic - this does not engender confidence in their ability to fly the plane!"

Nadelen: "This is an international flight which didnt have an in seat entertainment. They didnt announce anything and this is the only airline where they serve the food without even checking if you want or not. It was a mid night flight and i was fast asleep after take off. They woke me up and just threw the food on the table and walked off. Another first of its kind is they serve solid food first and followed by drinks so even if you are thirsty, you have to wait. All juice will be served later. and the most uncomfortable old seats. Probably they use different flights for different sectors and to India, they consider every passenger as just "cattle" class and use the worst flight they have. But no other option. There are few direct flights and this is the only choice. So have to fly with them again unfortunately."

Voordelen: "-Muscat airport must have aero-bridge -the crew is apologetic to serve alcoholic beverages-sneaked in wine bottle 15 minutes before descent/touchdown; emirates etihad have no qualms openly and freely serving alcohol in international flights. -leg space is cramped. -did not announce baggage belt -did not inform ambient temperature and other weather details"

Also when my friend who I was traveling with picked up her luggage the plastic was ripped off. That must be some rough handling they have because this was a hard plastic suitcase.. They need to treat the cargo a little less rough."

Voordelen: "Only the lounge experience during the layover is worth mentioning which was quite comfortable in my opinion"
Nadelen: "Seats on the Muscat - Riyadh sector were quite ordinary and there were no TV screens in front of passenger!"

Nadelen: "After boarding 3 passengers were made to disembark. This happens for different reasons. But the pilot refused to turn any ventilation. Cost savings? We were left to fan ourselves as the cabin overheated in the hot sun. No civilized airline can showe this sort of disregard for passenger comfort. After being tortured for an hour we finally got off the ground. Sorry, Oman Air, lots of room for improvement. I had a wonderful time in Oman and look forward to returning on Emirates."

Nadelen: "At Oman ticket counter getting my boarding pass, ticket agent demanded to see my exit document in addition to my passport. As a US citizen I had read you can get a visa on arrival in Dubai with just your passport. Ticket agent was prepared to deny my passage on flight. Luckily I had my computer with me with my exit flight info on it which I showed to agent. In order to satisfy passport immigration when I got to Dubai I took a phone camera picture of my exit flight info. When I got to passport immigration desk in Dubai the first thing I did was show my phone camera picture of exit flight info. She said "We don't need that, we just need your passport" and I am thinking "Scam". Oman Airline would like for you to purchase additional on the spot airline ticket from them if you don't have one. As an airline in the travel business I would think that Oman Airline would make it a point to know what the rules of travel are."

Nadelen: "Nothing"

Nadelen: "No seats available while waiting to be checked into the gate."

Voordelen: "NOTHING"
Nadelen: "We were kept over an hour in the plane waiting for some connecting flight passengers without AC and with a temperature of 40 degrees. We were sweating and we got sick. They could have kept us waiting in the airport instead"

Voordelen: "Flight was on time. Crew handled a dispute between two passengers effectivley and professionally."

Nadelen: "4 hours late - no communication Rude flight attendants"

Voordelen: "We landed without crashing"
Nadelen: "The check in process, the upgrade process, the boarding process. And, everyone just sat where they wanted, even after I paid for the upgraded seat. The crew could not care less, and I ended up with the largest person on the plane next to me, who seat jumped, so I had to sit sideways the whole fly."

Nadelen: "I paid £275 for my TICKET ,after 2 min I rang them for cancel my ticket they said refund only £177 Then I said ok change the ticket they said still need to pay penalty charge as well, i wasnt happy then they call me back he said we cancel your ticket and refunds £240 , I lost £35 in 10 min ."

Nadelen: "Toilets are not good. Wash hand basin always blocked. I tried 2 different toilets and both are the same"

Voordelen: "The fares are cheap and they charge for luggage. Check-in was smooth, boarding was as well, and the crew was smiling just a bit. But then that's the Turkish attitude I have noticed all these years. Not bad over all. My luggage made it all the way to my destination with no problems, even though there was a connection flight."
Nadelen: "The seats did not recline which makes it a little difficult to relax if the flight is longer than two hours. No entertainment and no food served (not even water) unless you pre-order or purchase it in flight."

Nadelen: "I was unable to cancel the flight. I was on a work trip followed by a vacation, the vacation got cut short and I had to cancel the flight, unfortunately there was no way to cancel online and due to the nature of my job I cannot make phone calls to the states. I was not expecting a refund just an easy way to cancel the ticket online."

Nadelen: "first of all the prices of drinks are very high and they rip you off since there is no option. but with that i can live. what i cant live with they try to save on gas and till you dont yell they dont turn on the AC and then they try again to lower it and again you have to complain. i hope to never fly with them again and when you say something you get a sour face"

Nadelen: "Extremely cramped, non-reclining seats, no pocket in seats, not even a glass of water, no entertainment options of any kind, checked-in suitcase arrived damaged."

Nadelen: "Almost one hour delay to board and take off!!!"

Voordelen: "Not worse than any other low cost airline. Check-in went smooth, planes are new and cabin personal was friendly."

Voordelen: "I'm actually surprised about the flight. The pilot was good and I think he was a pro. For a budget airline, Pegasus was good."
Nadelen: "We had only problems with the delayed luggages. The boarding was not on time but I don't think it's a big deal because we arrived almost as scheduled. No entertainment at all and comfort was not a priority but it's okay since it's a budget airline after all. But it would be better if they consider comfort of flyers even if it is a budget flight because flying is a serious thing and can cuase a lot of anxieties to begin with."

Nadelen: "We were delayed 7 hours without any explanation or compensation or apology."

Nadelen: "my flight from Rome to Istanbul delayed 1 hour so i missed my second flight to Athens and they asked me to stay at the airport till the next day waiting for free seat :( but i refused and i fighting with them .. then they found a free seat in the next flight"

Nadelen: "It is impossible to get an invoice. I have sent emails to all available addresses but I've get nothing till today."

Nadelen: "This experience was absolutely horrible for my wife and myself both. We understood that being among the more "budget friendly" airlines, we would have to sacrifice some comfort. But this airline is beyond atrocious to say the least. There is no terminal exit, but rather we had to walk down steps from the plane, walk in the rain to a stand-up bus, and ride it to the airport. How on earth are you supposed to make close connecting flights with those conditions? We barely made it only because they let us skip the line for security. Save yourself the misery; dig deeper in your pocket for a better airline."

Nadelen: "I was delayed in London, and thus missed my subsequent flights to Ankara and to Erbil. Arriving in Istanbul, there was a massive crowd at the transit desk with two Pegasus agents. They spoke little English and did not attempt to create an orderly queue. Instead, they were helping random people. Given that persons on the delayed flight were losing potential time to catch other flights, it was extremely unprofessional and rude to go about managing the issue in this way. I was quite exasperated and was told to calm down by Pegasus officials. Ultimately, I was delayed for one DAY, and forced to flight out the next night at midnight. If Pegasus had been consistent in managing passengers from a delayed flight, I could potentially have gone on to my final destination without a 24 hour delay."

Nadelen: "I am guessing this company does clean their aircraft only once in a while. In both of my flights between Istanbul and Amsterdam, the airplane was not cleaned off of the previous flight's trash. When I was seated in my first flight to Amsterdam, my tray had a lot of stains of food and drinks. Not a pleasant sight! In my flight back to Istanbul, I had to travel looking at a former passenger's waste, such as a used napkin tissue, stuck to the handle of the seat, and a chocolate package. I also have to say that the sinks of the bathrooms do not drain properly, so you, actually, cannot leave the place clean for the next person. All in all, this company definitely needs to work on the cleanliness of their aircraft. Thank you!"

Nadelen: "Poor everything is poor, they are very bad specially the crew when u check in they will let u pay even for the hand baggage extras kg even if u did shopping from the duty free they will let you pay for the weight. The worst crew ever."

Nadelen: "My tent poles, which were attached to my bag were lost. I am hiking in Switzerland and have no tent now!!!"

Voordelen: "It is fine. It gets you from point A to point B."
Nadelen: "It's almost outrageous that they don't give you water."

Nadelen: "How could you ask about entertainment when there is nothing to intertain in these planes! No screens, expensive and bad food, even the menue and magazines were not available on half of the seats, not to mention the worst and smallest seat i have ever been in, although i travel on many other economic airlines! There is nothing but poor, bad and boring flights. The sad thing is that i payed too much for this flight. Oh i forgot, it's also delayed and we wait for half an hour and then, they came with only one bus to take all the people to plane whwn there are many people who can't hold themselves in that crowded bus!"

Nadelen: "Everything other than the price. Old plane, supremely uncomfortable. Delayed for an hour."

Voordelen: "They got me to my destination... eventually"
Nadelen: "Oh, boy. First, this flight was super late and they wouldn't admit it. I went to the gate at boarding time, and the staff rudely pushed me away, saying I misunderstood the gate number. I double checked, and no, that was indeed the right gate. This lasted until the airport announced the final boarding call for my flight, and people started lining up.Then the staff had to admit that this was the right gate and the plane was just late. We didn't start boarding until way after the announced time (which they didn't bother to update on the screen until it passed. Extraordinarily disorganized. Second, the flight crew was loud and kept the lights turned way up on an overnight flight. Everyone around me was trying to sleep, and they were woken up by the crew yelling "DO YOU WANT COFFEE?" 5 rows away. Even when they finally dimmed the lights 3 hours into the flight, they kept the Tv's on, so the flashing advertisements prevented me from sleeping restfully. Third, you have to pay for coffee and tea. Who does this? They also begin their flight with loud, obnoxious music that jolts everyone awake (see above for this being an overnight flight). Overall, only choose this airline if you're okay with being kept forcibly awake and you don't mind the flight being late. Oh, and you have 2 euros to pay for simple tea."
