The Rude desk clerk didn’t even check and just spit out no upgrades. Yet once on the plane there were several empty business class seats and they stayed empty the entire flight."

Many people on the flight from NY to Brussels were scheduled on this flight and that plane landed in time that this flight would only need to be delayed 10 minutes to allow for us to connect. However, they decided to leave all of us with a long unexpected layover in Brussels, costing many of us a day of what was supposed to be a short vacation for most."

I'm only 130 lbs. can hardly wonder how a bigger person can handle those tiny seat spaces. Also, those seats are so uncomfortable with the way they contour one's back. No support and very very uncomfortable, I had mid back tension pains the entire 12 hour flight."

Comment une compagnie peut-elle accepter mon paiement alors qu'elle n'est pas en mesure de garantir le service pour lequel elle a été payée? Selon cette philosophie, il faudrait peut-être payer nos billets d'avion une fois RENDUS à destination? Beaucoup de stress inutile et une mauvaise opinion de la compagnie aérienne..."

Le problème est si que les correspondance indiqué au porte B, on perd au moins 20minutes avant de comprendre la solution. Alors on est stressé et on manque de ratter l'avion. C'est pourtant pas compliqué d'expliquer au passagers que l'on doit repasser par les portes A avant de retourner sur les portes indiquées sur les téléviseurs.."

Voordelen: "Cela fait 4mois que je prépare mon voyage à MOSCOU. L'avion part avec 30min de retard de Paris ET me fait rater la correspondances à Londres. Nous sommes arrivés à 22h, l'avion partait à 22:35. Au lieu de nous faire embarque d'urgence ils ont préfères nous débarqués dans un hôtel."
Nadelen: "Alors que nous avons prévenu les équipes en France, ces derniers nous ont rassurés au possible (pilote, stewards,etc.) C'est impresssionnant comme Le mensonge représente cette compagnie."

Nadelen: "They charged us for two aisle seats, and then reassigned one of us to a middle seat with no notice. With advance notice, they were unable to provide a meal that would not contain bell peppers, to which I am allergic. On the plane, both meal options contained bell peppers. Surprisingly, the ingredient lists were not available to flight attendants or passengers, and we were only aware of their presence because of seeing them, or having my allergic reaction (which I did) after avoiding the visible ones. The passenger in front of me put his seat in full recline for the entire 10 hour flight, including about 30 minutes when the seat was unoccupied. This put his seat about six inches in front of my chin and made it impossible for me to view the entertainment screen. It also made it difficult to get into and out of my seat. Several of the toilets had clear fluid covering the floor. I did not want to know is this was water or something else. Although our connecting flight in Miami went from gate E21 to gate E30, it took two hours (and 3,000 steps per FitBit) to get there because of being required to claim our luggage, leave security, recheck the bags, and then re-enter security. Our tickets did not provide for TSA-PRE despite having provided our known traveler number in advance. Many notices and directions were only available in Spanish. As they are based in a Spanish speaking country, this is perfectly reasonable, but their services are marketed to English speaking countries and it was a problem for me as a predominantly English-only speaker."

Nadelen: "Plane is extremely old and should be put to sleep. Business class on this plane means younger an empty middle seat and narrow standard seats. Not worth it for business, check airplane model before you book."

Their service is worse than United. You get what you pay for. I will never fly with these clowns again. And I want my $33 back for the seat I didn't get!!!!!"

Nadelen: "Very impatient flight attendant. She was really rude to me. Seats were very uncomfortable. The flight was held on the tarmac both departing and arriving to JFK. Botj creating a delay."

Nadelen: "The plane was delayed after boarding and nobody accommodated the temperature in the plane, food, or informing us of what was going on."

Nadelen: "1hr. delay because plane lost electrical power. No entertainment on board due to previous electrical problem. 1hr delay at arrival again due to plane electrical power."

Voordelen: "The dood was decent (rice and chicken instead of a sandwich). Entertaiment was great, we had more than 20movies to choose from."
Nadelen: "The only bad thing was the weather. Ee ended up arriving 1hr later due to heavy rain, but then at the airport you could hear Iberia employees calling passengers with connections to speed up their process."

Voordelen: "The in flight entertainment and personal touch screen were great. The captain seemed to do well with abating most turbulence."
Nadelen: "The cabin crew weren't all that friendly and were super stingy about giving out water during the flight. The legroom was very limited compared to my last trans-Atlantic flight."

Voordelen: "Direct flight with good entertainment system if you fly in one of the newer airplanes."
Nadelen: "Poor service. It seems most if not all Iberia staff are not happy to work for this airline, and definitely hot happy to work with people. My kids asked a few times why those people were upset (regarding both flight crew as well as ground crew). Online services to request seat assignments does not work. We tried to get seat assignments over the phone, and it seems Iberia only picks up the phone if you going to purchase a ticket, otherwise forget about getting help over the phone, and/or online (email as well as website). After trying to obtain child menus over the website and phone, I drove to the airport Iberia desk to order it there two days before the flight. The desk manager was helpful and requested for us to send an email with the request, so he could set it up once the flight opened up two days before the flight. I sent out the email to find out on the flight once food service started that the request was never placed."

Voordelen: "The food was surprisingly good, and I had no issues once on either plane."
Nadelen: "The layover in Madrid was too short. Because the first leg was slightly delayed, I missed the flight to my final destination. They ended up giving me a ticket which departed more than 12 hours after my arrival in Madrid (!). I had to go to the horrible inconvenience of wandering through the huge airport looking for their customer support desk, waiting in line, returning an hour or two later, and eventually getting myself a standby ticket on an earlier flight. I still ended up in the airport for about 4-6 hours. They provided a coupon for a free lunch, and there was a lounge to stay in, but for a transatlantic flight, adding an extra 4-6 hours was really bad."

Voordelen: "Smooth flight, great crew service, excellent movies selection, adequate meal service. Most importantly, no lost or late arriving luggage."
Nadelen: "Nothing. Everything was excellent."

Nadelen: "You get on a flight and you can't even get water without paying for it. How cheap can you get. I got better service from Ryan Air."

Voordelen: "All airplane attendants were very helpful and always on the call."

Nadelen: "Seating space in cabin was very cramped. When seats reclined, I had 2 inches from nose to seat. Could not pick seats in advance without a large fee. Unacceptable!"

Nadelen: "i went to the (galley?) at the back and politely requested a drink, a member of staff refused me because they were just about to begin serving drinks. that's stupid. i was sat right at the back of the plane and wouldn't get a drink for at least 20 minutes because service starts in the middle and works back. fortunately another member of staff (older, female) just reached over and handed me a drink, because she understood it was easier and quicker and more reasonable to do that than to be a dick about it."

Nadelen: "boarding was later then it should be, also when the boarding starts everything was super slow, and they try to put all people from one plane to one bus ..in the end when was completely crowded and there were a few people that really can't get in because there was no space left, finally they bring another bus for them... Our departure was late and we were half hour later in Warsaw."

Nadelen: "The boarding took such a long time to get every one on the bus and there were only two busses and we were left to wait out side on the busses in the cold."

Got everyone standing in lines far too early, my husband can’t stand for long periods, so back was sore before even on flight."

Nadelen: "Was approached when queing and told my bag was to go in the hold, there were people that had bigger/more bags that were not told this, i understand that if there is not enough room but surely first come first serve, we stood in the que specifically that this would not happen as we were in rush once we landed and did not have time to wait for bags. There were many people behind us that got to take their bag into the cabin."

I could hear that they were asked on their way through security 'how drunk are you?' which they announced loudly to everyone. They were shouting on board. They were still sold alcohol by the crew who did nothing to quieten them down. As usual the flight was late (around an hour by the time we actually got to the terminal)"

Voordelen: "Crew tried their best but their capacity were stretched to the max to accommodate us."
Nadelen: "In Malta airport they only had use of ONE wheelchair/passenger lift vehicle for all flights and we almost missed our flight because the airport team couldn't locate the lift vehicle (PRM). In Edinburgh airport, the lift vehicle got us off the plane ok but didn't have enough wheelchairs or assistants for all those who booked. In the end we were just dumped off by the luggage caramel and had to have the slightly better disabled push the severely disabled out whilst I pushed the luggages. The holiday was fine but the traveling was just terrible due to clear lack of resources and capacity of airport teams"

We take Ryanair because it's cheap. Not for anything else. So when the price jump 50€ there is no interest in taking this company anymore."

On m'a dit de me faire remboursé mais c'est aussi compliqué sur leurs site. J'ai pris une location de voiture au depart de milan, 2h30 d'attente pour avoir le vehicule, c'est un veritable scandale."

Nadelen: "Le voyage aller au départ de Dinard, c’est parfaitement passé. Mais le retour n’a pas eu lieu !!! … En effet, je me suis retrouvé bloqué dans un énorme bouchon, causé par l’accident d’un poids lourd qui s’est retrouvé en travers de l’autoroute, et qui m’a fait perdre près de deux heures … Et malgré avoir téléphoné à RyanAir à l’aéroport de East Midlands, pour les prévenir de cet imprévu. J’ai eu beau tout faire pour essayé de rattraper ce retard, mais le traitement de la part du personnel de la perfide Albion, a été plus que lamentable ! Car lorsque je me suis présenté au comptoir d’enregistrement, on m’a renvoyé à la fin de la file d’attente, pour finalement me refuser l’enregistrement car le vol venait d’être clôturé deux minutes auparavant … Une véritable honte ! Qui m’a obligé à relouer une voiture, pour me rendre à l’aéroport de Londres Stansted, y passer la nuit et bien sûr racheter un billet d’avion pour le lendemain, car le prochain vol pour Dinard depuis East Midlands n’avait lieu que deux jours après … En revanche, le lendemain, le vol depuis Londres a décollé avec plus d’une heure de retard, mais là bien sûr, personne n’est venu s’excuser et ce retard n’était pas non plus de leur responsabilité ! Et je vous passe les détails … Un vrai cauchemar !"

They only took pounds or credit card. Having only euro and dollars, I used cc but for done reason they only take European credit cards?! They accommodated me though and took euro."
Nadelen: "Baggage took forever to come out. I paid for priority boarding but they put me in other boarding so I was split up from my friend. We were 30 min late so everyone was standing in line - need boarding groups to call."

Nadelen: "Almost everything : surprise charge for not having printed out a boarding pas before I got to the airport : extortionate fee for checking on one bag : I guess I've been spoiled on other airlines with the privilege of being able to take a bag of luggage. This, together with the penalty for not checking in online more than doubled the cost! : be prepared for a long wait : very disorganized at the airport : they want you to arrive very early. : one of the flight attendants was pretty rude. : the flight was about an hour late : moral of the story is never take luggage on Ryanair : it's only meant for travelers who can keep up with the hidden fee schedule, travel light and who can put up with discomfort."
