Nadelen: "Seatback TV is of the worst quality among airlines. They really need to upgrade those. They don’t nearly give enough beverage and water. The gate wasn’t announced till last minute. There was no group priorities when boarding. Process was chaotic. Food was meh. No internet."

Nadelen: "Seats are small in economy. I was lucky it was not a full flight, so I had two seats. The entertainment system was a. It confusing to manage, but the choices were good. Food was ok; but not worse than would expect."

Nadelen: "I didn't make it to Siem Reap because the first leg of the trip from IAD to London was cancelled by Virgin Atlantic after it was fully boarded. The excuse was that a flight attendant had food poisoning and was unable to fly and so the entire flight was cancelled. The Virgin team seemed unconcerned and showed NO sense of urgency to try and get people rebooked. Their solution was to rebook everyone on an evening flight the next day. If a passenger was only going to London, that was probably fine. But for people with connecting flights -- or like me with multiple connecting flights -- that wasn't acceptable."

Nadelen: "Virgin Atlantic continues to give great service. Their lounges are way above all other airline lounges. It is difficult to get well prepared and fresh fish in lounges, but Virgin Atlantic knows how to do it."

Voordelen: "I was selected for additional screening at the gate. I have no problem with this at all. From the start I told them I am traveling with my fiancee. They tried to hold me back in a separate area after the screening and I once again told them my fiancee was waiting for me. One staff memeber walked with me half way back to get her and then disappeared. By the time I found her and came back, the staff memeber was no where to be found. Now we had lost are spot in the line and had to go to the back of the line. We spoke to 3 different staff people about what was going on and everyone said, oh the guy over there will help you. But no one did. The staff had No idea how to run a security check or handle paople. There was No working wifi! There was no tvs in the seats, only the old style in the aisle. The staff told me the plan was going to retire at the end of the month. The food was more for animals then for humans! We got updates by txt 10 mins before the staff updated the gate on our flight out from SFO. I have traveled all over the world with a lot of airlines and Never had such a poor service, but what is it to expect. It was United after all!"

What I don't understand is why we were not able to get boarding passes and seat assignments when we did our check-in in Sydney? Why is that so hard? Also, when we were getting our boarding pass in LAX it was so confusing when it asked for checked bags. Our bags were already on a belt going to who knows where - were we supposed to check "yes"? If we had a boarding pass this would not have been an issue."

I enjoyed the flight and would like to fly Virgin Atlantic more. Finally, you are the 3rd best flight, I have ever take, and the 2nd best airline I've been on. Flew Business Class on Swiss Air once to Geneva (#1) and all the flights I have had with Porter Air are comparable to your airline, but the free cookies and beverages at Porter's terminal in Toronto wonderful."
Nadelen: "A couple things went wrong on this trip, my checked luggage got misplaced for a day, and a nice women in baggage claim told me what was happening and a nice man handled my claim and my bag has now been returned to me. The bigger thing is my flight bas delayed taking off by 3 hours. Let me start that I would rather have a part replaced on the runway then not, safety is paramount. The fact is my flight took off 3 hours late from London (VS11), and got to my destination (BOS) 2.5 hours late. Kudos to the flight crew for getting me to my destination faster by gaining a little time. Plus, since BOSTON was my final destination it was all fine this time. But if I had had to get home to the elder person I take care of or my teenager it would been a problem. Again, I'm annoyed, but I do understand the reasons and they are valid and preferred. I have heard that airlines to keep their flight rating high, wait for planes to leave the gate on time and then do repairs on the tarmac. If this is still a SOP for airlines you should change the way the statistics are collected and figure out a way of not perpetuating this type of disincentive. This is just hypothesis on my part, and my whole trip had little negatives."

Nadelen: "Never seen an international flight charges checked in luggage $130 US dollars a piece"

Voordelen: "I liked entertainment options on your phone but at the same time there was nowhere to plug your phone if it ran out of battery."
Nadelen: "The boarding was good but we did not depart o time which did not cause us to be on time to our destination. It was international flight for almost 4 hours and there was no foodie snacks serve. Only tea or coffee. For a international flight more than 2 hours you should offer something else, soda juices and a snack at the very least. I guess the reason why I am feeling this ways is because I flew with virgin a couple years back to London and was so impressed by he service and the airline and the great quality modern vibe. It was the W hotels of the airlines industry and this time I really want impressed."

The food was horrible, I only ate it because I was starving. Flight was delayed from Sydney to Bali, which caused me to miss my pick up. Not sure if I'll fly with them again."

Also, my seat was is row 16 and was called a “premium” seat and I was charged an extra $24 for it. I did not find it any different than all the seats around me. What was the extra charge for?"

Nadelen: "My one complaint is the bathroom layout of the A320. Two tiny closet bathrooms in the back for all of coach and a much larger one much larger one first class (which is like 5 rows with a mesh curtain for separation). The coach bathrooms are so small a normal person can barely get in and turn around to close the door. I question whether a larger person would be able to actually use them. I also saw the flight attendant actively turn away coach passengers trying to use the first class bathroom when it was open (not standing in the aisle or anything annoying like that). That's ridiculous to have 2 tiny bathrooms for all of coach and also to make people walk all the way to the back of the plane when you are seated much closer to the first class bathroom."

And leaving in the early morning it was too dark and they convinced us it was unsafe and a 35 min walk. It’s def would be that long of a walk in Mexico since we had no idea where we were going."

Die meneer geeft aan: stop uw koffer in automaat. Die accepteert niet. Had die meneer ook gelijk kunnen zeggen. Volgende loket. Die mevrouw geeft groen Delta label: uw bagage wordt in Atlanta direct doorgezonden naar Kingston. Ik loop dus door in Atlanta. Maar behulpvaardige meneer melde: uw bagage wordt niet doorgezonden. Nooit uit Amsterdam. Wie moet ik dan geloven? Ik toch maar wachten. Blijkt koffer toch van bagage band in Atlanta te komen. Als ik op Delta/KLM info had vertrouwd, was mijn koffer dus pleite geweest, want niet doorgezonden. Geplande tussenstop duur van 2 uur was volgens douane te weinig. Dat klopte. Haalde maar net vlucht Atlanta/Kingston."

Voordelen: "Some "perk" for Diamond status on Delta to get to a shorter security line, but customs and immigration was... customs and immigration."
Nadelen: "No available SkyTeam lounge unless you had a business class ticket. As a Diamond flier, I can always access the SkyTeam lounges. Audio for boarding was a little unclear so there was some confusion at boarding. For reasons unknown, my bag was moved from one overhead bin to another. Very frustrating since I board early to avoid this confusion and hassle."

Voordelen: "In Toronto werd ik aangesproken door een dame van KLM met de vraag hoe ik reisde, alleen of in groepsverband etc. Zij gaf aan dat ik gebruik kon maken van de lounge en dat er hulp aanwezig was om bagage in te checken bij de self check-in. Uitermate vriendelijke en behulpzame dame. Tijdens de vlucht was er zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam cabinepersoneel beschikbaar."

Nadelen: "Aeromexico was unable to provide the boarding pass for our second flight on the itinerary (operated by Delta) when we checked in in Mexico City (our checked bags were tagged all the way to Minneapolis though). They informed us that we would need to go to the Delta ticket counter when we arrived in Cancun (with a short layover). This is an unacceptable level of service."

Nadelen: "Je suis touriste et ils m'ont exiger un autre billet de retour dans mon pays alors que je ne vis pas dans mon pays ayant une residence dans mon pays de residence"

Nadelen: "The poor service provided to customers when a flight gets delayed, there was no explanation, no gate, we were walking around the airport without any information and the food voucher barely cover a meal."

Ceci est simplement RIDICULE! L'agent ma mentionné que cela allait changer bientot et redevenir comme avant donc, ne pas avoir a payer pour notre valise! En fait j'aimerais savoir si possible de me faire rembourser ce montant lors du changement . Laisser moi savoir ou je dois faire la plainte svp car je n'en reviens simplement pas. Nadelen: "À Mexico City, l'employé de Aeroméxico me demande de récupérer mon bagage à Bogotá pour le remettre à un agent afin d'effectuer le transfert vers ma deuxième destination. C'est ce que je fais. Le temps de passer la douane et de récupérer mon bagage, le 2e avion avait décollé. Je me retrouve donc bloqué à Bogota. Aeroméxico n'est d'aucune aide et je me vois contraint de racheter un 2e billet d'avion."

Voordelen: "On nous a fait faire le check-in alors qu'ils savaient déjà le vol annulé. Nous on fait attendre 2 heures en salle d'embarquement sans afficher la porte d'embarquement. Nous ont menti tout le long en disant juste du retard. Lorsque j'ai reçu un email d'aeromexico indiquant le vol annulé ils ont alors reconnu que le vol était bien annulé. Ils nous ont tous rebooké sur un vol le lendemain à 8h30 et déposé dans un hôtel à 22h pour venir nous chercher à 6h. Au réveil nouveau mail f'aeromzxico indiquant que le nouveau vol est décalé à 9h45. À l'aéroport au check-in on nous assure que ce nouveau vol à bien lieu. Pourtant en salle d'embarquement encore une fois aucune porte n'est affichée. Après de longues discussion on apprend qu'il y a un pb pour notre vol, il n'y a pas de pilote ni d'avion. Au final nous avons réussi à embarquer sur un autre vol. La compagnie Aeromexico est à éviter, leur contrat indiqué qu'ils peuvent annuler un vol et ne pas respecter les horaires sans aucune compensation financière."
Nadelen: "Nous mentire tout le long. Nous faire faire le check-in quand ils savent que le vol et déjà annulé et continué à nous mentir pour nous faire attendre en salle d'embarquement. Nous rebooké sur un vol fantôme pour encore une fois gagner du temps et nous faire attendre. Ils auraient dit la vérité ca serait passsé beaucoup mieux"

Voordelen: "From the boarding process all the way to arrival it was a great experience overall. Brand new planes with free up to date movies. The economy seats truly recline (to what i was very surprised) and the food was pretty good."
Nadelen: "There's absolutely nothing I didn't like about it."

Nadelen: "Unfortunately, I was not able to go on this trip because I recently found out I am pregnant and the risk due to the current Zika virus makes traveling out of the question. Aeromexico was NOT understanding at all. Their only offer was a 1 year voucher from the time I purchased my ticket. I purchased my ticket in October 2015 (before the Zika outbreak and before being pregnant) and I will still be pregnant in October 2016 so that voucher is completely useless to me. I basically lost $900. Even though I repeatedly tried to explain my situation to customer service and had a letter from my doctor it didn't matter they just repeated their voucher line over and over. Needless to say I will NEVER purchase airline tickets from Aeromexico again and that is a real shame for them because I have a timeshare in Mexico which I plan on enjoying with my growing family for years to come."

Waarom zijn prijzen niet 100% van de tijd accuraat?
Prijzen voor zitplaatsen in het vliegtuig, hotelkamers en huurauto's kunnen frequent wijzigen. Meerdere personen kunnen ook op hetzelfde moment een zelfde reisoptie proberen aan te schaffen. Dit heeft als gevolg dat het soms voorkomt dat bepaalde prijzen niet langer meer beschikbaar zijn.
