Emirates airlines does not inform there passengers of the required documents even at there counter in the start of the trip tell they don’t allow you to take your flight to the final destination. After that they say it’s not there Problem and you have to sort it out. Emirates is one of the worst airlines you can travel with.

Nadelen: "I didn't like the long delay to stay in the airport on hard chairs before leaving Cape Town. The delay affected all the other connections with long periods of stay in the airports. The whole flight was rough, being shaken all the time."

Voordelen: "I had a very bad experience on checking in. I went to check in at Beijing Capital airport over 1 hour (about at least 65-70 minutes) earlier than the time of taking off on Nov. 2, However, I wasn’t allowed to check in. The staff said I was late and asked me to spend extra $200 to reschedule my flight. Therefore I had to spend $200 on changing my flight to next day on November 3, which was one day late back to Boston than I expected. That’s too bad and incredible!"
Nadelen: "There are a couple of things need to be improved. First of all, the food were not fresh, especially the salad dish. In mean dish, the beef cooked with too much dark source and tasted salty. Hope you could improve the food quality near future! Secondly, the luggages came out too late. All passengers had waited for their luggages for more than 1hour, which was really too long. Please consider about the concerns! Thanks!"

Attendants came around regularly with hot water but no refills for other drinks. My tray table was broken. my food tray slid into my lap because the table wasn't sitting horizontally. Could not check in online, cannot check for 2nd (connecting) flight when checking in for first flight in person in China. As a non Chinese citizen you cannot check in via the kiosk. It's a pain."

The food was tasty and simple which is good for long flights. Not overly salted. I found it to be a satisfying experience in economy."

Not to wait one hour for it tom come out Poor boarding system Staff doesn't smile and kind of gives you orders. At least this is the way it feels."
Nadelen: "My seat would not recline, nor would my friends. We had a 3 hour delay, which normally I would not complain about but there was not any communication. After waiting 2 hours on the tarmac, we were informed it was air traffic control that was causing the delay. After another hour we were told it was mechanical issues. Very frustrating."
Nadelen: "Food wasn't that good. The flight crew and amenities were very nice however."
Voordelen: "Staff and crew remained polite and professional in the face of some difficult, older Floridians (Sorry to all of the decent Floridians out there). One young flight attendant made a HUGE effort to turn around their mood. He wasn't very successful, but it was a valiant attempt."
Nadelen: "Boarding was a little stressful, but I think that had more to do with some belligerent, unprepared travelers than the staff and crew."

Without flying first Hainan Airline ticket from ORD to PEK on Nov. 24, 2016 because of personal reason, I flew on Nov. 26, 2016 with American Airline instead. When I tried to use Hainan Airline round trip ticket to return US (PEK to ORD), I was refused to check in. I have to pay extra $413 to check in the same flight. Without any notice from Hainan Airline and Kayak, I was very upset with Hainan Airline service. I complain for this issue and call them several times, but there is still no respond from Hainan Airline. It is unfair for me to pay extra $413 air ticket without notice."

Le gros point noir : quand on fait le check in en ligne, les places sont attribuées de façon aléatoire de façon à ce qu'une même famille soit séparée afin de faire payer très cher le placement si on veut être regroupé. Et ce, avec énormément de places disponibles à côté. Nous étions 3 ,il y avait plein de places à côté mais il fallait payer pr les avoir ce que nous n'avons pas fait.Nous avons donc ete séparés .scandaleux !!!
Ponctualité du vol mais embarquement très long à Helsinki
La réservation du vol est à revoir, après avoir acheter le billet d’avion pour Helsinki, il n’est plus possible de prendre le bus directement de l’aéroport pour aller à Tampere, c’est très frustrant

The flight was very comfortable but we ended up paying an extra $300 more for each ticket for seats and baggage. We should have been told in big bold letters that there would be extra charges for everything else.

Notre fils est très grand et la procédure d'enregistrement des places n'est pas toujours facile pour obtenir un siège adéquat quand on voyage en économique .
Notre valise n'est pas arrivée à Brest. Elle est partie à Biarritz. Nous l'attendons. Cordialement

For some reason l was unable to obtain my boarding pass online for both flights. I almost missed my last flight because it took so long to get one at the airport. Also my arm rest wasn’t moving and the movie on an 8 hr flight wasn’t working.

Nadelen: "Seat in front of me was mostly lowered in a position that caused an uncomfortable force against my knees. My neighbor had to place his knees in my sitting area for the very same reason. Otherwise everything was great."

The checkout charged me $60 to check a bag, when I looked on my reservation it says it’s $55 and when I called customer service they said they charge $100 to check 1 bag less than 20kg for an international flight"
Nadelen: "The flight from Helsinki arrived 2 hours late to JFK due to mechanical reasons causing some passengers miss their connectiing flights, which is quite normal in airline practice. What was not normal and supper aggravating was the fact that nobody met us at the gate to help us rebook our missed flights. We had to find an AA agent in the departure area and stand in line with other passengers who were checking in to their flight to Jordan. There was no customer service what so ever provided by Finnair."

Instead, rush to airport, pay more by having to pay in person. 2. I also could NOT get my boarding pass online. Instead, forced to drive to airport day before just to be sure I'd be on plane! Finnair counter, Hannele politely double-checked all's well, handed me boarding pass. Hannele told to buy extra baggage online being cheaper. This promise, not accurate. Absurd!"
Voordelen: "The flight was very fast, boarding and getting off were fast and convenient. They had a new Korean movie that I've been wanting to see but didn't expect would be offered on an airline, so that was great!"
Nadelen: "The crew seemed quite stressed, when I asked to store my wedding dress in the crew closet they were very short with me, which made me feel really guilty about it, as the stewardess obviously thought I was very troublesome, but they did allow it. The food was quite bland. The entertainment was much more limited than most international flight lines."

Nadelen: "They promised an upgrade to premium economy and then they didn't follow through, they lied when they said that row 30 was premium economy, all this felt very very weird. Jacqueline the flight attendant recognised the problem and gave us premium headphones to make up for the error."

Nadelen: "Etihad has gone downhill over the past few years and please consider this carrier as your last option for travel. They are simply not worth the money you save, considering the pain they make you sit through. Extremely poor service from the staff and they offer little to no option to you if the flight gets cancelled. They were not willing to accommodate my request to reroute to a new destination (which actually is cheaper than my original destination) as i was about to miss my consular appointment due to the flight cancellation and this was the only way I could make it. They outright said it's not possible, didn't even check if the flight to the new destination has availability or not. The staff especially at Heathrow is a joke, don't even bother reasoning with them."

Nadelen: "The upkeep of the airline, some of the airline staff to treat all passengers as one as I noticed more than an unusual amount of passengers were favoured over one another. A minimum flight of 5 hours was served with just the one meal. We were served lunch at 930 am on one flight. The observations in economy aren't as important as business class. Only if we could all afford to travel on business class."

Voordelen: "Something unusual happened on this leg. A passenger became quite ill, and the captain decided to fly back to Abu Dhabi 2.5 hours after our takeoff from there. That certainly says something about Etihad's customer service. I doubt United would have done the same. A crew member told me that the double back meant an extra fuel cost of $50,000. The moral is: make sure you've got your medications in order—or whatever your health requires—before you board an airplane."

Un grand merci au personnel de cabine mais le responsable au sol .... Mais en plus de 10 vol Ave Etihad c'est ma seul mauvaise expérience et de plus j'ai payer 200fr pour changer de vol et arriver 4 h 30 plus tôt résultat gagné 30 minutes oups"

Au bout de 2h de négociation nous avons obtenu une chambre d'hotel de 1h du matin à 6h.... pour reprendre le vol suivant à 8h30.... Aucune indemnisation, ni surclassement, as même un code wifi .... COMPAGNIE A EVITER A TOUT PRIS, c'est du LOW COST et le SAV est CATASTROPHIQUE. If you would have told me at the airport this would happen I would have made other arrangements. Instructions on what to do was quite poor too. As a foreigner to be handed a stack of vouchers without direction on where to go for transportation wasn’t satisfactory."

Nadelen: "Having Multiple Sclerosis & extreme neuropathy plus being postop with two major abdominal surgeries just weeks before, I called customer service and they guaranteed my medical needs would be met at the gate. They were not and not having a bulkhead seat on the first 2 hour leg from Bangkok to Kuala Lumpur caused me massive pain and circulatory issues - in spite of surgical note requiring it. Not good assistance over phone or in Bangkok."
