Since we were not ready for Dinner we suggested to bring it after an hour, which they declined stating that once they take back the trays it can not be served again."

Nadelen: "Our flight from Boston to JFK in Ny was delayed an hour. We got to JFK and ran from the plane to the terminal and they had already closed the door but the plane was still there. They wouldn't let us on the flight and it ended up even being delayed for 30 minutes! We talked to JetBlue and they said they couldn't do anything for us so not only did we miss out on a day in Italy, we lost our a ton of money on all the things we booked for Tuesday. We also then had to get a hotel in ny and everything was booked so we almost had to sleep at the airport but luckily we found a place that had a last minute opening. Still was super expensive and no one helped with a "destressed rate". Now we have to wait until 10 again tonight to try to catch the plane to Milan because Emirates only has one flight a day. This has been the worst travel experience I have ever had."

Nadelen: "1. I had put in a request for vegetarian meals, but my request was ignored. At meal time, I was given a choice between chicken and lamb. I again asked for vegetarian, and was told they didn't have any. The white guy in the next row asked for the same, and it magically appeared. The attendant noticed my shocked stare and then gave me a veggie meal too. 2. On a 16 hour flight, our tv screens didn't work. None of the attendants even came by to check, even after repeatedl requests. 3. My 6 and 9 year old kids would like to know why they didn't get any of the courtesy toys/coloring books that were given to other similar age kids. I don't want to tell them it was due to their skin color. 4. Even a request for water turned into a tug of war after we had waited for almost 20 minutes. I finally poured it out myself."

An announcement was repeatedly made that the final boarding call for the flight had been issued, and suddenly the entire assembly of passengers waiting before the gate stood up en masse and moved toward the gate, where we ended up standing for twenty or so minutes while the passengers were boarded in sequence according to seat assignment. I'm certain that Emirates has a protocol for gate announcements, but one of their employees certainly didn't know what it was."

Nadelen: "My baggage was ripped and the material inside was damaged. Never expected that from Emirates."

Transfer desk was unable to get us to Bari same day although it was only noon; rebooked for 6:55am next day... Significant financial loss to us."

Nadelen: "I landed at Zurich airport at 6am with an 11 hour wait and tried to get onto an earlier us bound flight. The ground crew were awful and rude!. The dint make any effort to smile, look at me in the face or ask how I was doing!. Instead she took one look at my ticket and said “ sorry you bought through an agent, I can’t help you”. When I tried to ask if in future it is advisable to book through Swiss airlines directly, the customer service agent looked at me and said “ that’s your problem”- then she turned to her friend and kept talking! Honestly! . The airport terminal E is grey, drab and boring. No TV and only 2 hour of WiFi. I was told I had to pay to use one of their lounges just to get a recliner chair to lay my head for 11 hours. I felt like I was in a holding cell- and the flight was delayed by an hour, had a gate change that they dint tell us till less than 1hour- boy was I glad to leave Zurich!. If that is Swiss hospitality, they have a long way to go. Save your money and use another airline. You will be much happier- trust me."

Nadelen: "12 of January, 2018 Dear Austrian Airlines authority, I address to your kind attention to asist me to get to me the hat qhich I lost on board of the flight 1576 when I arrived to Vienna airport on my way frpom JFK to Lwo. It happened because it was no room above my seat's bin and the steard helped me to get my heat in another bin. Unfortunately I forgot at the moment when I left the board of the plane, a minute later I reminded that I forgot my hat but I was not allowed to go back and get my hat. I tried to communicate with the Lot&Found office in Vienna airport as I had 2h40 minutes in connection time and it was enough time to get me back the hat, unfortunately nothing was really done from the airport staff to get me my hat and made to me possible continue traveling with my hat. I spoke to two managers, the name I could share with you if you need. The Found office registered my black hat and the plastic box under the number F2018/000682. In this situation I ask your offices to deliver my hat and the plastic box to Lviv airport as sson as possible as this is a special hat for my daily prayers. I wish you best and ask for your kind assistance to send the item as soon as possible with the nearest flight. Sincerely, Meylakh Sheykhet"

Nadelen: "in NY they would not give me a seat/ boarding pass for this flight - they said i had to get one only in zurich. by the time they gave me one in zurich - it was a middle seat and there were no other seats available. i was totally squished in between 2 men [ i am a female] and the seats were sooo small and there was absolutely no room. i was totally uncomfortable and had to sit like this for 4 hours... i did not like this AT ALL"

Nadelen: "I was taken away from boarding for a random check that took a long time due to not enough staff Entertainment system was broken for about 50 people, even after a reset. Terrible for an overseas flight. Food was very poor, staff lied about resetting the entertainment system. The plane took off 1 hour late and was not allowed to taxi to taxi to the gate for 1 hour, making us extremely late."

Nadelen: "The seat was horrible and had no cushioning. Left . Worn out and non manintained seating systems . Had body pain"

Voordelen: "EVERYTHING'S Good to come back home"

Nadelen: "Checking in we had a nasty representative, but other than that, all was well"

Nadelen: "There is little that can be done to make a long haul flight comfortable when a baby is screaming and crying for it's entire duration. Its behaviour cannot be helped. But it certainly didn't make the flight comfortable, nor did the young child kicking incessantly at the back of my and my daughter's seats. This could have occurred on any flight, but it didn't contribute to having a positive experience on this one. The flight attendant serving breakfast completely ignored that fact that I was awake and strolled past without asking if I would like anything as meals were being served. I informed another flight attendant that we hadn't been offered breakfast and she was able to provide us with meals. Besides this the cabin crew were courteous and pleasant. I've flown with Swiss on other occasions and have had better experiences. I'd like to think this was just a one off and not representative of the level of service that Swiss normally provides."

Asked 3 different personnel at Zurich airport at no one could help with wifi or how it could be accessed since both wifi scanning machine in Gate E area weren't working. It just seemed that they were incompetent or weren't willing to help. Crew on flight were very nice. Vegetarian food options better than chicken / meat options."

Nadelen: "Departure is 4 hours late. Missed connecting flight at Istanbul. Asked us to pay for Visa to stay in hotel. Did not have money. Also forgot to take Credit card from USA. As per the rule Airlines has to pay for Visa. They never paid. Asked us to pay. Totally harassment. Never book Turkish Airlines in my remaining whole life. Also will this incident to all my friends after going back to USA. Very very bad experience. Sat down 24 hours at Airport without food and sleep. Mostly will file a case against Airlines."

Nadelen: "On line check-in system does not remember frequent flier info. Passport check at gate was poorly managed. Everyone was in waiting area then told to get out and stand in line for passport check. It happened each time so this seems to be their normal process. On flight back they bused us to the airplane and waited for all three buses to arrive at the airplane before allowing anyone to board. Flight attendants helped with moving carry on bags in bins but with little consideration to the items. Completely unorganized boarding process to the point it is worth paying a little more to fly a different airline."

Voordelen: "Flight itself was comfortable even though it was very full. Good, well maintained airplane. Great pillow and blanket. Somewhat hard seat. Love the newspapers they give us to read - what a selection."
Nadelen: "Istanbul airport really lacks seating for its passengers in the general areas. You need to sit in a restaurant to rest your feet as waits are quite long between flights. Another problem is the lack of internet for passengers without Turkish cell accounts. This should be corrected. Finally, lack of water fountains in the airport is also a problem."

Nadelen: "First let me tell you that when I booked a flight to Istanbul from Brussels, I booked, so I thought, the airport called Istanbul Ataturk with the initials of IST. What I got was SAW after I paid for a booking that said IST. Sabina Gokcen is one hour away further on the Asian side of Turkey. I did not want this airport! There was nothing I could do about this but bite the bullet & accept what I got since I was not allowed to have any corrections made after paying for this ticket. I am highly disappointed with Kayak. The first time you have disappointed me greatly!"

Voordelen: "I am always pleased with Turkish Airlines service and I love that they still give the little extras. It makes me feel more comfortable and the earplugs are always welcome!"

Nadelen: "The ground personnel in Istanbul were rude and prevented us from boarding before the general boarding even through we were business class passengers. She made us wait till all economy passengers were boarded before permitting us to board the plane. When the business class passengers requested to know the reason she just said this the way she was going to do it. She yelled at the business class passengers for no valid reason. I have travelled business class and never been put to such humiliation!!"

Nadelen: "Choosing a vegetarian meal was not an option in the booking/checkin process. I have taken 8 Turkish Airlines flights and in only one of them apparently I was expected to have specified a vegetarian option. All other times a vegetarian and meat option was provided on board. So it was confusing. The crew still accommodated my choice and were able to get me a veg crew meal."

Voordelen: "Lots of cabin staff and they are pleasant. New plane with very good entertainment system and choices. Good food."
Nadelen: "Very full flight with lots of children. Not the airline's fault but that detracted from comfort and ability to sleep."

Voordelen: "I loved everything about this airline! First the fact, they used a B-777-300ER on this route, which is my most preferred aircraft! Next, they upgraded us to a class which is in between Economy and Business. But even otherwise, their economy is very good! Indian food was served which was very tasty and authentic! Inflight entertainment and beverages were also very good! Cabin crew was excellent! Could find NOTHING to complain, it is now my favorite airline!"

Voordelen: "Food quality was excellent. We ordered Hindu Vegetarian meal and it was served warm and taste was very good. Lot of options for in flight entertainment including bollywood movies. Aircraft was clean and very nicely maintained and lit."
Nadelen: "Boarding process could be little more professional. Announcements could be little more clear as they speak in Turkish but not very well pronounced in English. It's not a deal breaker but helps everyone."

A single agent working while multiple other agents idle nearby. Processing speed was slower than other European & US international airports."

Nadelen: "This flight was the second leg on my trip from New York to Munich. Many people on the flight from NY to Brussels were scheduled on this flight and that plane landed in time that this flight would only need to be delayed 10 minutes to allow for us to connect. However, they decided to leave all of us with a long unexpected layover in Brussels, costing many of us a day of what was supposed to be a short vacation for most."

Flight crew was pleasant and fine. After learning it was Brussels airlines I went through their check-in process for families and requested kid-friendly meals, but nothing came of it. Slightly disappointed."

Voordelen: "In terms of things I liked flying with UA998 from Brussels to EWR: The boarding staff at Brussels airport was helpful, courteous and knowledgeable. Boarding procedure was smooth even with the extra security screening at the gate."
Nadelen: "It was quickly clear to me that the passengers where simply an inconvenience to some of the crew on UA998. As an example I fell asleep during take off and woke up in the middle of the meal service. The cart was only a couple of rows behind me in the half-ful Economy Plus section so I got up and tried to get the attention of the staff. The lady turned around and confirmed that "I had woken up" with a sigh, as is not only was it inconvenient to her that I was a sleep, now I had the nerves to actually ask for a meal. She presented me with the options of pasta and chicken and I politely asked what they where served with. She straight out said that "she really did not know that" and asked me to make a choice. I wont get into any other examples, the machine was half full at best and there was no stress, so frustrating to be treated like you are an inconvenience to the USA based staff who clearly just wanted to be left alone. The entertainment system barely worked, the touch monitor was very hard to operate - the pressure sensitive functionality was not working properly but I managed to get to my movie and avoid the Chinese subtitles in the third try. I fly United because it's part of Star Alliance, but otherwise I would try and avoid at all cost."

Voordelen: "Melanie/ticketing was superior in securing seats on a different departure. She endured many nervous travelers. The new itinerary matched our original time of arrival at ORD within 2 hours. :)"
Nadelen: "The free check-in of our carry on bags only dissapointed us when not arriving at ORD. We expect them to be delivered soon."

Voordelen: "Entertainment is great, although I did not use it much this flight"
Nadelen: "Seats were uncomfortable, tighter than I remember last time I flew Luft."

Voordelen: "The crew was attentive and effective. The vegetarian food was excellent. Plane was clean. Bathrooms were checked regularly."
Nadelen: "Generally, I'm a happy camper and easy to understand some "discomfort" that comes with traveling. Return trip operated by United. Terrible experience. No legroom[I'm 6'-2"]. The seat confinement was so stressing that it was impossible for me but just to extract myself and find a place where i just could stand. Meaning I was standing most of the trip. My wife and myself are globetrotters and this was one of the worse flight experience ever."

Voordelen: "The crew member Lena was fantastic, everything else was as well. Had restful sleep."
Nadelen: "Not all lounges have showers, had to go through security three times going back and forth between lounges."

Voordelen: "Ditto what I wrote above for Lufthansa."

Voordelen: "The lounge dedicated for just the two gates made boarding very easy"
Nadelen: "I had to wait an hour for my bags because they were not priority tagged. Your crew ignores passenger calls. No one came to me for half an hour when I pressed the call button at least 25 times. I finally had to shout out to one of them who was passing by"

Nadelen: "The Terminal C at Frankfurt airport is hideous and the boarding does not follow any groups and you see huge lines of people lined up way before boarding time."

Voordelen: "Nothing!"
Nadelen: "I had requested vegetarian food. They ran out of it. All they offered me was bread, butter and cut fruits. They informed they ran out of vegetarian food. I told them for a flight to India where 60% of the passengers are vegetarian, how could they do that. They were very cold about that and didn't care much. Just because I am of Indian Origin they treated me like that. This was very wrong of them. This incident happened during lunch time. At dinner time they came up with proper vegetarian food out of nowhere and offered to me and other few passengers to eat. How did this food come now? When it was not there for me and many other passengers during lunch time. This is totally ridiculous coming from International career like Lufthansa. I have voved that I will never travel by Lufthansa again!"

Nadelen: "Vertraging en bagage niet aangekomen' na 1 dag afgeleverd"

Voordelen: "Boarding was a breeze and the staff were lovely. Online check was very simple and easy to navigate."
Nadelen: "The amount of extras you have to click no to while checking in online."

Voordelen: "Er werd een gratis snack aangeboden en wonder boven wonder, was dat een vegetarische snack! :)"

Nadelen: "Flight was cancelled and we had to return to Amsterdam after du,ping fuel to make sure we could have a safe landing."

Voordelen: "Pretty basic one hour flight so there's not much to complain about or praise about. I got some sleep which was good."
Nadelen: "The crew had their general Dutch aloofness on form. Chatted to one of the stewardesses in Dutch up until she saw I had a British passport then she decided she could only speak English to me."

Nadelen: "Flight was delayed"

Nadelen: "Without any explanation the plane I was due to go to Istanbul on at 11.30 was not available. I had to wait for a small plane coming from Edinburgh then wait for it to be emptied of passengers and cleaned. This meant we were over 2 hours late into Istanbul. No explanation or apology. I then missed my next flight in Istanbul and had to purchase another ticket. I cannot believe that air passengers are treated in this way!!! I will follow this up with KLM when I go home from my holiday."

Nadelen: "Two hours delay in the start."

Voordelen: "In Toronto werd ik aangesproken door een dame van KLM met de vraag hoe ik reisde, alleen of in groepsverband etc. Zij gaf aan dat ik gebruik kon maken van de lounge en dat er hulp aanwezig was om bagage in te checken bij de self check-in. Uitermate vriendelijke en behulpzame dame. Tijdens de vlucht was er zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam cabinepersoneel beschikbaar."

Voordelen: "Wider seat than most business class"
Nadelen: "Row 6 in business is after the first 5 rows and Galley and restroom. Very awkward"

Nadelen: "Lang wachten bij de incheck"

Nadelen: "Not only was there free food but they tried to sell you a bunch of stuff. Not a moments piece."

Voordelen: "We vertrokken vanuit Tapei 10 minuten voor plan. We kwamen bijna 3 keartier voor schema aan."
Nadelen: "Omdat Economy Comfort vol zat (een maand van te voren), een exit roe geboekt. Wel veel beenruimte, maar in de breedte echt te krap voor een vlucht van 12 uur."

Voordelen: "De reis verliep voorspoedig. Diner en ontbijt waren redelijk."
Nadelen: "Film aanbod was aan de magere kant."

Voordelen: "Niets!"
Nadelen: "Op papier was het een KLM vlucht. Maar tijdens inchecken werd het een Jet Airways vlucht. Alle privileges als platinum frequent flyer was direct weg. Geen voorrang bij inchecken, geen voorrang bij handbaggage check,."

Voordelen: "Comfortabel en netjes"
Nadelen: "Personeel is niet altijd even vriendelijk. Een glimlach kost niets, toch?"

Voordelen: "They were awesome."

Voordelen: "Efficiency and speed of boarding was acceptable. I have no complaints about that aspect. The Comfort+ seats were worth the upgrade, pretty comfortable and reasonable legroom unless you have a big carry on stowed under the seat in front of you."
Nadelen: "The first announcement they made to all of us in the economy section was thay they did not have any headphones for anyone but business class. I was told when I booked the seat that the headphones would be complementary. So I did not bother to bring any assuming they were going to keep their word; I figure I'd make it work and watch a movie without sound. If that isn't bad enough midway through my nine hour flight my monitor went out and would not turn back on."

Voordelen: "quick boarding, responsive Airline stewardess, very polite."
Nadelen: "temperature control was not good, service was fine, seats were not comfortable. plane need to be cleaner."

Voordelen: "Comfortable flight to Amsterdam for vacation in UK. More meals than expected. Also wasn't expecting some of the comforts offered to "regular" class seats like eye masks, ear plugs, pillows and blankets. It was an overnight flight, so maybe that should have been expected, but I don't think we had those 4 years ago when traveling overseas."
Nadelen: "Nothing. This is filler text to meet min characters."

Voordelen: "10 hour flight - I was well looked after, regular drinks, the food and snacks were good enough and tasty. The in flight entertainment was good - latest movies and worked a great variety of tv, books and movies. The airplane was modern and comfortable"

Voordelen: "They flew full speed to catch up with the delays."
Nadelen: "Departure was scheduled with one hour delay. When everyone was boarded they mentioned a leaking toilet. It took them 1,5 hours to disable the toilet. In the mean time, no drinks, no snacks, nothing. So we should depart at 18:00 but it became 19:30. Our first drinks and meal was no earlier then 21:00. The crew should have anticipated better that the technical problem would at least take one hour and give everyone a drink at least."

Nadelen: "Taking off late caused me stress because I had transferring flight within less than two hours in transit originally. So we arrived later about 50 minutes so I had to manage my situation and find my next gate and be on time. And an other thing that I disliked was that I was allowed to have only one baggage which was very unusual for international flight between two countenances. And the crew was not polite enough so she made fun of my Cary-on. In short, I expected more from KLM which is famous for them being "Royal" but not acting as one of them."

Voordelen: "The price was nice."
Nadelen: "Plane looked unkept on exterior. Crew was nice but lazy."

Nadelen: "I had booked a paid seat with extra legroom, but at check in the seat was given to another passenger"

Voordelen: "Crew was excellent explaining about the (short) delay."

Voordelen: "During my first flight from East Midlands England to Amsterdam I lost my baggage by another airlines and the KLM crew was very dedicated and supportive until they found it and check in for me... Many thanks and I wouldn't forget it."

Nadelen: "My Kosher meal never made it on-board. The cabin (and the airport) were way too cold"

Nadelen: "While dropping off my luggage, the staff confirmed that the booking made and paid for was indeed a emergency exit seat. Once on board the seat did was not an Emergency exit row."
