Voordelen: "Good crew, fair choice of food and drinks and served whenever you want it. Good array of entertainment on offer but our flight was a 'sleeper' so after a fumble with the controls and the limited new releases, I opted to read instead. Not sure we like the Dreamliner configuration and levels of comfort more than the 777 or Airbus offerings but it was fine."
Nadelen: "A couple on our flight decided it was OK to have their 4-year old run around the cabin shrieking and causing a lot of fuss. Most of us in the cabin complained but these parents were pathetically weak and elected to allow it to continue. No sleep... spoiled experience.. miserable flight in this respect. Terrible Business Lounge 'Aspire' in Gatwick; dirty and poorly equipped - not even Prosecco on offer without paying £5 for a small glass. Qatar should stop using this dreadful place. Crew seemed to have stopped referring to the passengers by name and offer a less-personalised service in Business than we have become accustomed to. The food choices while good, have been paired back as have the selection of wines."

Voordelen: "I had never heard of Qatar Airways before I booked a 24hr flight to and from Sydney, Australia. I only did this on the suggestion from a friend that stated Qatar Airways was "alright". So for the price I thought what the heck! I was extremely pleased with the service from the cabin crew. They are always polite, professional, and well trained compared to my previous favorites Delta and Lufthansa. The seats were comfortable (as comfortable as Economy and 24hours of flying can be), the entertainment and aircraft were state of the art, and the food was outstanding for airline food. If I get the chance in the future I will definitely choose Qatar Airways for long trips."
Nadelen: "Other rude or snotty passengers taking up the crews time and attention for no reason. But as I stated in the "positive" side of this review, the crew handled these impolite individuals with a smile and polite attitude. Kudos to Qatar Airways."

Since we were not ready for Dinner we suggested to bring it after an hour, which they declined stating that once they take back the trays it can not be served again."

I didn't eat barely anything for the whole 12 hr flight. That is the worst situation I have ever been on when flying anywhere. So, yes, I found it horrible for the most part."

Nadelen: "When I boarded my flight, a man and his family took my seat and forced me to sit in the middle of two very large men and made my 7 hour flight very uncomfortable. I purposely chose that seat for leg room and even though business class was empty, they could not provide me with a different seat."

Nadelen: "Our flight from Boston to JFK in Ny was delayed an hour. We got to JFK and ran from the plane to the terminal and they had already closed the door but the plane was still there. They wouldn't let us on the flight and it ended up even being delayed for 30 minutes! We talked to JetBlue and they said they couldn't do anything for us so not only did we miss out on a day in Italy, we lost our a ton of money on all the things we booked for Tuesday. We also then had to get a hotel in ny and everything was booked so we almost had to sleep at the airport but luckily we found a place that had a last minute opening. Still was super expensive and no one helped with a "destressed rate". Now we have to wait until 10 again tonight to try to catch the plane to Milan because Emirates only has one flight a day. This has been the worst travel experience I have ever had."

Nadelen: "Sat next to a man who smelled terribly like alcohol. He then ordered and was served a small bottle of wine... I'm not sure he should have been allowed to board or served more alcohol. He was not causing any disturbance, mostly slept, but smelled awful I had to turn my head the other way and would have liked to move seats."

Nadelen: "We vertrokken met vertraging. We konden maar net op tijd het boarden van de volgende vlucht halen."

Nadelen: "1. I had put in a request for vegetarian meals, but my request was ignored. At meal time, I was given a choice between chicken and lamb. I again asked for vegetarian, and was told they didn't have any. The white guy in the next row asked for the same, and it magically appeared. The attendant noticed my shocked stare and then gave me a veggie meal too. 2. On a 16 hour flight, our tv screens didn't work. None of the attendants even came by to check, even after repeatedl requests. 3. My 6 and 9 year old kids would like to know why they didn't get any of the courtesy toys/coloring books that were given to other similar age kids. I don't want to tell them it was due to their skin color. 4. Even a request for water turned into a tug of war after we had waited for almost 20 minutes. I finally poured it out myself."

Voordelen: "From the top to the bottom, everything was excellent except for..."
Nadelen: "...the boarding, which was somewhat chaotic. An announcement was repeatedly made that the final boarding call for the flight had been issued, and suddenly the entire assembly of passengers waiting before the gate stood up en masse and moved toward the gate, where we ended up standing for twenty or so minutes while the passengers were boarded in sequence according to seat assignment. I'm certain that Emirates has a protocol for gate announcements, but one of their employees certainly didn't know what it was."

Nadelen: "My baggage was ripped and the material inside was damaged. Never expected that from Emirates."

Voordelen: "Excellent service"

Voordelen: "Nothing !"
Nadelen: "Security staff did not know English and asking ladies passengers to remove bangles which was impossible."

Voordelen: "I watched movies the entire time."
Nadelen: "I didnt like that i had to sleep on metal chairs at Maldives outside airport. My layover was 11hrs and 35 mins and enirates didnt accommodate me at all during the wait. Not even a meal voucher. Talked to a guy named Ishmael Shinad and he was beyond useless. Wasnt the happiest person on flight."

Nadelen: "The crew was not enough for so many people, they looked stressed and some of them were not very nice. The seat spaces were too small for such a long trip (13 hrs) + we had 1 hour delay in Dubai."

Voordelen: "The attendants are friendly, helpful and responded to my needs graciously. I also love the uniforms, especially the hats. The food was decent and was offered at appropriate intervals. I like the plane too."
Nadelen: "I had reserved an aisle seat by phone but at the airport I was assigned a window seat. No problem---the attendants were helpful and a nice man changed seats with me. I had difficulty with the headset, couldn't get it comfortable and had difficulty adjusting the volume. No big problem considering how good the service was in general. I didn't like a 6 hour wait at Kennedy on my flight to Milan which was dreadfully late."

Nadelen: "Losing my bags after a canceled flight was not so nice when my thinks cost more than 1000 euro"

Transfer desk was unable to get us to Bari same day although it was only noon; rebooked for 6:55am next day... Significant financial loss to us."

Nadelen: "Boarding procedure was rather chaotic. After first class, rather than board by groups or rows, it was everyone else. Flights are fully booked and overhead bin space is tight if you board at end."

Voordelen: "The flight itself was very enjoyable. The only negative aspect was that the first leg of the flight was delayed long enough that I almost missed my connecting flight and my baggage was lost."
Nadelen: "The real reason for the negative review is a combination of the cost of this flight, loss of my baggage and poor service after the flight. I paid nearly $4,500 for an economy ticket from New York to New Delhi. The first leg of the flight, from New York to Zurich was delayed long enough that I made my connecting flight to Delhi within seconds of them closing the gate and as a result my baggage was lost. Once I got to Delhi I had to take a connecting flight to Goa and then drive an hour to my destination, where I was attending a good friend's wedding. All of my baggage was lost during transit by the airline, and unfortunately they never delivered by baggage to my hotel...so I was without formal clothes and normal clothes for the wedding for 4 days. The customer service line was no help, and the airline refused to deliver the baggage to me...the closest they would bring it was the Goa airport which was an hour and a half away."

Voordelen: "The flight was perfect until we hit horrible turbulence. 1 out of every 4 people was throwing up. We had to redirect to Milan."
Nadelen: "Swiss air is completely inept at handling a very normal reroute due to weather. 200 displaced people are standing in line. I’ve been here 5 hours and have not heard a word of announcement from them, our questions are rudely thwarted, and they continue to take half-an-hour to an hour per person with uncertain results. Give use new flights or a hotel."

Nadelen: "Reviewing Business class Nothing memorable at all. An ok dinner after take off followed by a tiny salad 8h later before landing. Quite minimal for such a long flight. The entertainment system needs special mention for its awfulness. The system in Business class would be considered poor even in Econ - small screen, terrible picture quality and a painful, prehistoric interface."

I was not told when I bought the ticket that I will need a visa to transit between Bruxel to Zurich. Now they told me that my only option is to buy another ticket . Thank God éthiopien Airline was more affordable."
Nadelen: "Nothing!! And by the way this is the last time I travel with you guys. I couldn’t travel because of my itinerary doula -Bruxelle - Zurich- Washington Dulles . I was not told when I bought the ticket that I will need a visa to transit between Bruxel to Zurich. Now they told me that my only option is to buy another ticket . Thank God éthiopien Airline was more affordable."

Nadelen: "I didn't get on the flight because they lost my luggage and they refuse to give me a new ticket. I was back and forth on the phone with Swiss and still no good word"

Nadelen: "The entertainment remote was not working and the crew member could not fix it. Indicated that his happens and that the planes are supposed to be refurbished within the year. The screen was the most user-unfriendly I have seen in a long time"

Voordelen: "The comfort of the aircraft was great, as well as the service of the flight crew. We're very thankful that the airline put us up in a hotel and gave us a voucher for food due to a layover in Zurich."

The leg room on the plane was also very reduced for an 11 hour flight. I wish I would have been offered to pay an additional amount and upgrade to the business class. Nadelen: "Terrible service. Crew was unfriendly and unhelpful. There seems to be an element of arrogance when flying with this airlines."

Voordelen: "Crew was great, polite and pleasant. This is the only good thing about the flight."
Nadelen: "The agent at the check-in had no clue what he was doing. He had to ask his neighboring agents a dozen questions to check us in (4 passengers, 3 bags and 2 car seats). On top of that, his whole demeanor was condescending, treating us as if we had never flown an airplane before. We are big are traveling light, so we had 2 small suitcases, small enough that we never have to check them in for the US domestic flights. I asked the check-in agent if the small ones were needed to be checked in or if they could be taken as carry-ons. He made a big deal that they were too big and had to be checked in. But when we boarded the plane, we saw that about a quarter of the carry-on bags in the plane were as big as our small suitcases! We were in row 30+. The leg room was the narrowest I have had in all international flights I flew in. Having longer than average legs, it was pure torture for the duration of the overnight flight. The best part of the dinner they served was the croissant - that should give you an idea. I don't think I would voluntarily choose Swiss Air again."

Voordelen: "All was good. Excellent price. Plenty of space. Crew was nice and helpful, as always with Turkish Airlines. The flight was on schedule."
Nadelen: "The food was basic, but I understand this, as we have the pandemics, and there is no opportunity for cooking."

Voordelen: "We missed the connection because the Istanbul airport is a silent airport and no announcement were made for boarding."
Nadelen: "Announcement from crew or reach out to people in front of gate would help. Also, the staff at Istanbu airport is so rude and have no respect for customers."

Nadelen: "We were not allowed to board our connecting flight and are stranded currently at the Istanbul airport and had to book our next flight with indigo as the staff closed the boarding ahead of time even though we were on time. Lot of shouting and crying by other passengers happening for the same reason."

Nadelen: "Too exhausted from the long flight. But really wanted to say - Never flying them again after my itinerary is completed. They have just lost any revenue they would ever have gained from me in the future."

Voordelen: "Onboard service was good - two meals and in between. Some good movies and TV plus internet service you have to pay for."
Nadelen: "The seats are uncomfortable for 13 hours of intense use."

Nadelen: "I will never forget Turkish airlines again. They stole our money. We were at our flight on time but they wouldn't let us board. They then said we were no shows and cancelled all our remaining flights with no refund. This ended up costing us around $3000. We don't have this kind of money and I don't know how we will pay rent next month."

Voordelen: "The planets and stars we're aligned to provide an optimal trip. Price was a huge determinant for me...$800 RT Houston to Delhi just can't be beat. And, their arrival time into Delhi is so early (5: 20 am) that customs and immigration is a breeze."
Nadelen: "All good."

Voordelen: "Everything else but seats."
Nadelen: "Seats are very small and there is not much room even though I am only 5.4 and 140 pound."

Nadelen: "I attempted to cancel this flight and arrange to use the same route within a year, but when Oct 3 came, nothing had been done. I called as I had before to Justfly and was then told that I had to use the ticket by the date I purchased it (3/26) . I should have just done nothing as when I cancelled the ticket, it cost me another $100l. I will not use Justfly again. I am out more than $1000."

Voordelen: "Probably best economy class service and amenities and timings."

Voordelen: "Once my wife reached the gate, having left me behind at security, Turkish Airlines waited and were patient with us, the last to board the plane. The food and plane and bathrooms were all without any problems."
Nadelen: "We had a 80 minute layover in Frankfurt. Turkish Airlines should make note that this is not sufficient for making a connection. 1. The terminals require extensive walking. Not a problem except for time. 2. Security entering the terminal was seriously understaffed. There were a hundred security personnel, but thousands of passengers. The line stretched for half a mile. 3. Cutting, disorganization, mismanagement, lack of organization, and airport layout all contributed to making this a very stressful hour for us."

Nadelen: "Turkish Air lot my suitcase. I will never travel with them again"

Voordelen: "The food was better than on the flight from LA. But wine was bad to say the least. Rest same as in the Flight from LA."
Nadelen: "The same as above and misguided by crew with regards to connecting flight. We had a bad time catching this connection. Even after disembarking the crew outside sent us on a wild goose chase. Airline representatives should be informed and helpful, which was not the case. Insufficient helping of food. Poor quality of wine and Vodka."

Nadelen: "Delhi International Airport: Unhelpful representatives at both: Baggage Claim and at Operations center."

Nadelen: "Pack a meal and don’t rely on the airport at Istanbul for a grab and go meal beyond prepacked sandwiches. No options for lactose-free meals beyond the potato chips at the bar. In-flight food was awful- we had the no lactose meals."

In addition, when I approached the ticket counter to inform them of the delay cutting close to my connecting flight, the response is "you're fine...you'll make it". During the deplaning process no announcement to have those with critical connecting flight was made to expedite the process."

Nadelen: "I am a non veg guy and during serving the foood they said ...they don't have Non veg meal ..I have to eat Veg only ..what the hell is this .. For water also ..I had to ask 3 times then they gave me when I request fourth time...it was terribly bad experience and I hated this trip."

Voordelen: "The flight and crew were fine. The food and drinks are free, which I wish some US carriers would take note of and adopt."
Nadelen: "No heads-up that we couldn't take tablets / laptops on next flight to the USA."

Nadelen: "First let me tell you that when I booked a flight to Istanbul from Brussels, I booked, so I thought, the airport called Istanbul Ataturk with the initials of IST. What I got was SAW after I paid for a booking that said IST. Sabina Gokcen is one hour away further on the Asian side of Turkey. I did not want this airport! There was nothing I could do about this but bite the bullet & accept what I got since I was not allowed to have any corrections made after paying for this ticket. I am highly disappointed with Kayak. The first time you have disappointed me greatly!"

Voordelen: "Very comfortable. The best flight i ever had."
Nadelen: "There was a problem with conecting the headphones. The chicken dish wasnt good."

Voordelen: "Entertainment (movies) always helpful to pass the time."
Nadelen: "Hot in the plane during and after boarding - no cool air. I have come to expect more from Turkish Airlines, and I hope they make sure they improve this aspect."

Voordelen: "The food and entertainment were great. The crew was good but..."
Nadelen: "...I could not feel the air conditioning at all where I was sitting in the back of the plane. I was literally sweating the entire flight. When I asked the flight attendants about it they muttered that they would take care of it and then never did. It was a very uncomfortable flight."

It sounds silly, but my neck hurt after the flight a little. Might be a pop out tv you can attach that is moveable to fix this"

Voordelen: "Hydration station during the long flight. Leg room adequate."
Nadelen: "They checked my bag at the gate - despite me traveling all over the world NEVER having to check it - and would not take no for an answer, despite me having a 25 minute connection due to their one hour delay. Once boarded there was an incredible amount of empty overhead bins! Bag didn't make it"

Voordelen: "We struggled to get the system to add our bags. Never got it to work and had to pay at check-in. It was even worse coming back! When bad weather caused delays and we missed our connecting flight from Frankfurt to Istanbul they put us on Turkish Airlines which was fabulous!!"
Nadelen: "Lufhtansa is slipping. They are acting like a budget airline when the expectation is for a full service airline. The online check-in would not let us add bags even though we tried for 3 hours. Not impressed with this."

A single agent working while multiple other agents idle nearby. Processing speed was slower than other European & US international airports."

Nadelen: "This flight was the second leg on my trip from New York to Munich. Many people on the flight from NY to Brussels were scheduled on this flight and that plane landed in time that this flight would only need to be delayed 10 minutes to allow for us to connect. However, they decided to leave all of us with a long unexpected layover in Brussels, costing many of us a day of what was supposed to be a short vacation for most."

Flight crew was pleasant and fine. After learning it was Brussels airlines I went through their check-in process for families and requested kid-friendly meals, but nothing came of it. Slightly disappointed."
