When we arrived at Schiphol it was night already and trains to towns around were super rare. So we came in home at 3 a.m. instead of the planned 1 a.m."

In fact, she was already asleep when they changed her flight, so she was already at the airport when she found out about the change. To do this to a 70-year old woman is reprehensible. Worse, after 2-hours with customer service, nobody there made any real attempt to remedy the situation or offer any compensation. Worst airline experience EVER."

Voordelen: "The staff was very nice. Only bad incident was the misinformation on getting the D Tax. We went early to the airport to do it but could not get it because of erroneous information form the check in agent."
Nadelen: "When we checked our bags the check in agent did not let us take out bags after getting the boarding pass so we could get the D Tax refund at Customs. She said it was not necessary. She was wrong. French customs wanted to see the merchandise which we no longer had. When we complained at TAP we were told do it in Lisbon. Again in Lisbon we could not get the D tax because that custom agent wanted to see the merchandise which was being transferred to our Lisbon - Newark flight. We loss refunds of over $400. This problem ruined a perfect trip."

Nadelen: "I found it very frustrating that we were told at the ticket counter the boarding would begin at 11:15am for a 12:45pm flight time. I arrived at the airport over two hrs in advance and then had to run a significant distance through the airport and sweat and be unnecessarily anxious waiting on the customs line only to arrive at the gate at 11:20am, to have my bags checked for a second time and then be unable to get any food or coffee before a flight that did not begin boarding for another 40 minutes. I did and still do not see the need for that additional luggage/security check and then being held at the gate for almost an extra hour for seemingly no reason at all."

Nadelen: "When I travel in a low-cost airline, I don't expect much, but I do expect the plane to arrive on time. My plan included a flight from Boston to Lisbon and then to Málaga, but at the end I received a delayed trip from Boston to Lisbon, an unexpected visit to Madrid to finally arrive to Málaga, just about 12 hrs late. My declared luggage arrived two days later, after a ton of phone calls to the airline. To make things worse, the jack of the earphone given by the airline broke inside my computer and I can't listen to it anymore. Could it be worse? Yes, but that doesn't help me a bit."

It also was very disappointed to be charged €60 per each piece of luggage returning to Madrid even though they had not charged for the same luggage coming into our destination. The lady at the counter was very cut and dry and was not helpful at all. This was a round trip, no explanation on the overcharged is acceptable. Kayak should warn their customers if luggage charges are going to be added."

The only negatives are: the Madrid airport food was HORRIBLE; WOULD LIKE MORE ROOM in between the following row."

When the airplane was almost landing at the Madrid airport with the normal low speed, then suddenly accelerated and start going up to flying around Madrid, then they put music and they never told the passengers what happened or what was going on again."
Nadelen: "When I booked my flight it was not at all clear that I had to pay for checked luggage, therefore I had to pay extra when I arrived at the airport. Please make it clear from the very beginning that checked luggage is not included. Easy Jet does a great job of this, giving you the option to pay for a checked bag when buying your ticket. With Air Europa, I had no idea at all."

Airplanes have become glorified city buses."

Nadelen: "Crowd like cattle at boarding. Seats poorly designed so you can't eat without spilling down your shirt. (Coach, natch.) My (and many) entertainment stations didn't work at all. Pilot didn't say a word the whole time altho lots of turbulence. English announcements fast and incomprehensible. Food really pretty wretched. All this in comparison to other transatlantic carriers at this point is frankly poor. (I do this 4 or 5 times a year. for years.)"
Nadelen: "I did not like having to go through security procedures twice nor in the long walks both at Gatwick, Madrid and, worst, the mess at Miami International airport mile long walk and shambles of a passport control"

I gave a guy 10 dollars and he told me that he was going to give me the change back... he gave me 5 dollars 1 hour later and never came back... 30 minutes later I had to ask him where was my change, he told me they didn't had any change. .. so i HAD to buy a chocolate bar even though i didn't want it.. how come they didn't had any kind of change in any tipe of currency, incredible. Everytime i asked for something it felt as if i was asking them the world, they made me feel like bad asking for stuff even though i needed them. I was travelling all day so i didn't manage to eat much so i was really hungry, i had one meal and i felt bad asking but i was too hungry not too so i asked another chicken meal, they told me they didn't had any or pasta or nothing. .. i had to say yes, instead of bringing an extra meal with salad bread dessert etc they just gave me the pasta... I'm like and where is the rest? Once again i had to stop them and aks for stuff they should give out in first place. . The movies selection really bad... 5/6 old movies to choose from, the earplugs i had to pay extra for and even spend more money for them, you had to move them million times because they would not work properly and when they did, the audio was horrible. The touchscreen would hardly work properly and the games, impossible. Not happy after all. :/"

Voordelen: "Our flight was slated for 3:35pm departure. But hours before the flight, the guessing game started as to how delayed and for what reason the flight was delayed. We ended up leaving 4 hours later and with one feeble apology from the captain..."

A meager €8 voucher that didn't even cover a meal and a poorly informed gate agent that couldn't provide any information because the head office wouldn't provide any information. To top it all off, the lie as to why the flight was delayed was not maintained by either ground staff nor the crew. Unbelievable"
Voordelen: "Crew was nice, responsive and professional. They tried to make the best of a bad situation and were helpful in that regard. Pilot explained the reason for the delay. Also helpful"
Nadelen: "Arrived early at the airport and checked my bags. Was charged $190 for one extra bag. Told I had to pay for two flights because there was a connection! Boarding was late and then the plane took off late. Horrible."

Voordelen: "On flight home, second lost bag of trip and second time of an extremely long wait, truly long long wait to report lost bag in Barcelona. So far, I have only one message for updates online about my lost bag. It always says "searching." I don't think they are though."
Nadelen: "Lost luggage. If they would let me speak with someone live, I could give them an idea where they lost it. Looking online, I see many comments that the airline has not. located nor compensate for lost bags."
Voordelen: "Plane was on-time and I got to where I needed to be. Price was also very nice."
Nadelen: "Boarding was a painful long queue. Plane was crammed and hot. Food / Beverage cart didn't come around until the flight was almost over."
Nadelen: "A bus ride is more comfortable than a vueling flight"
Nadelen: "We arrived more than 2 hours too late - this on a 2 hour flight. This can happen - but flight history shows that this flight is too late every day. The seat pitch is the worst of all low-cost airlines in Europe. Also the plane needs a renovation. We are flying regularly low-cost airlines. But non of the competitors is so expensive. Vueling can’t be recommended."

Nadelen: "They overbooked the flight. We were a party of eight and half of us got to go on the 12pm flight and myself my husband and 2 children had to wait! We were told we could get on a 4pm flight and were rebooked for a 9pm flight!! Then they lost all my luggage and when I did get it we only got 2bags! My kids while suitcase went missing for two days! Totally unacceptable! Worse thing is the lack of direction to handle the situation. Their answer was by law were allowed to overbook! Seriously! I know this is true but these airlines should. It be allowed to do that it’s disruptive to people’s lives that have paid money to be on these flights. So our 4day vacation is now down to 3 and of those 3days we spent one day waiting on partial delivery of our luggage!"

Nadelen: "No snaks, no food, no water and no reclining seats. Vueling wants to sell you everything. Is like going to the mall. My family give you F"

Voordelen: "Comfortable seat, helpful check in agent gav me a good seat. For a "low cost"airline it was better than most regulars ."
Nadelen: "Child in seat in front coughed and sneezed constantly. I wished his accompanying father had made him use a hankerchiff. Could airlines not advise sick passengers to use tissues or even masks to avoid spreading germs?"

Nadelen: "Very very small amount of legroom Flight was delayed c.90 minutes, there wasn't a lot of information and eventually were told they had to use a different plane, which may have explained it's quite poor old condition."
Voordelen: "Everything , we loved !! The crew was amazing, always eager to serve and help, the food was good and the timing was perfect!!! :)"

Nadelen: "Op heenvlucht waren we al aan het taxiën toen ze erachter kwamen dat er 2 passagiers meer dan stoelen in het vliegtuig waren. Prutsers dus. Terug naar de gate, mensen uitladen, wat een gedoe. Beenruimte is echt het kleinste dat ik ooit heb meegemaakt. Dan wordt er ook niet goed opgelet op handbagage en word je rugzak bijzonder onvriendelijk onder je stoel gepropt vanwege te weinig ruimte. Dat was wel m'n enige handbagage, dus waarom mag iemand die teveel mee heeft wel z'n spullen bovenin en ik niet? En waarom moet dat met bruut geweld onder mijn stoel gepropt? Bah, erg onvriendelijk."

Voordelen: "I found a BA round trip flight from Geneva to Barcelona. I am a high tier AA customer -Oneworld and always try to fly the fleet."
Nadelen: "I purchased a BA flight on the BA website. The flight was serviced by Vueling-Spanish LC carrier. Simply put, none of my Oneworld benefits were respected by neither BA or Vueling. This is fraud."
Nadelen: "You get what you pay for. Budget airlines include budget service, budget attitude."

Nadelen: "This flight was delayed by 2 hours."
Nadelen: "I would like to start out by saying that I have flown with this airline before but it was a few years ago and it was from one city in Spain into another. On this particular trip, I flew with a friend from Barcelona to Tel Aviv. Our flight was delayed because the pilot decided to change aircrafts at the last minute and about 25-30 ppl did not get seat assignments,including my friend. There were enough seats on the plane. It was disorganization plain and simple. They told these 30 passengers that they may not be able to fly and were about to separate family members, leaving some in Barcelona and flying some to Tel Aviv, causing unnecessary stress. When we arrived in Tel aviv, our luggage did not. Approximately 30 people had to file reports with lost and found. It took days to find the luggage which was flown out to Moscow and then to Tel Aviv. Some people still didn't receive theirs. The aircraft was old, all the food and beverages had to be purchased. The crew was all right. Overall, I will not fly with them again. I have spent hours and hours of my trip trying to locate my luggage. Hopefully it will arrive as I'm writing this review. I think Kayak should cease working with this airline and not list it on it's search engine."

Nadelen: "We were put on a bus and transported across the airfield to catch the plane. It was a rather long bus ride and we were standing and the bus was quite full. It was warm there with all the people standing close to each other and the bus ride was long."
Voordelen: "Check in was extremely easy, flight was on time, price was very nice"
Nadelen: "My boarding pass said "priority"on it but I guess that didn't mean anything because we boarded last and out luggage came out onto the carousel last too"
Voordelen: "Nothing. Total disregard for the customer"
Nadelen: "The 5 hour delay and acceptance by the airline that this is business as usual"

Nadelen: "Ik zat bij de nooduitgang. Normaal wordt je voor het vliegen geïnstrueerd voor wat je moet doen in een noodsituatie. Minimaal wordt je gevraagd om de instructies door te nemen. Zowel op de heen als de terugvlucht is dat door geen van het cabine personeel gedaan."

Nadelen: "Changed gate three times , 1 1/2 hrs late. Not accurate times given when it changed. On ground staff could have done better. System of boarding- all for themself created at least extra 20 min. Should board by rows"

Nadelen: "Het feit dat ik handbagage heb en dat dat perse in het luchtruim moet omdat Ryanair structureel te weinig ruimte heeft in het vliegtuig. Maar als ik 1kilo teveel inpak moet ik extra betalen. Maar als ze zelf iets verkeerd doen geen vergoeding of wat dan ook. Zelfs geen excuus. Schandalige manier van zaken doen, niks klant is koning..Ryan air is koning van het uitknijpen van passagiers"
Voordelen: "I think the crew were ok. But I didn't need them for anything. I guess I'm happy they were not rude or miserable themselves. They seemed upbeat which was the only positive thing about this whole trip. Plus I think the pilot stepped on it, cause I think travel time was less than what was planned (I might be missing taxiing time though, so not sure)."
Nadelen: "Well, I can't say I wasn't entirely expecting this. There was over an hour and half delay. Nothing announced. We were in the dark. The plane didn't arrive on time, nothing announced. Boarding was delayed, nothing announced. When boarding was complete, there was an indefinite delay that was only announced quite a bit later. Anyway, the whole experience, including naming Charleroi airport as "South Brussels" is not something I intend to repeat."

Nadelen: "The flight did not fly out of the airport I selected thru kayak. I missed my flight because I was unable to make it to the correct airport in time. I will NEVER use Kayak again."

Voordelen: "The staff was super friendly, this includes the pilots. You could see that they worked as a team! The seats were crammed just like every other airline company so i can't complain about that.. the boarding was super efficient and we departed on time, (we had priority boarding)."

Nadelen: "My seat/seating area was littered with crisps, this was very obvious to anyone and should have been cleaned up. The seat tray was sticky."

On the check in counter, we were not allowed to check in because they claimed that we had to check in online. We contacted the Ryanair desk to solve the problem, and we showed them that we are not able to access the website to check in. Eventually, they forced us to buy brand new tickets or we would have missed our flight."

Voordelen: "Uitstekende prijs kwaliteit verhouding,goede koffie (dus dan is betalen geen probleem..) Eindhoven is zoveel handiger dan Schiphol. Parkeren is ook ideaal geregeld."
Nadelen: "Op het laatste moment terminal aangeven. Gedring van mensen om aan boord te komen, snap dat het snel moet maar zou toch meer orde moeten zijn."

Ik moest alles zelf doen buggy plat plooien,zelf mijn dochter op de trap helpen. Zelf bij uit uitstappen heb al met andere maatschappijen gevlogen en daar was het wel te merk dat ze kindvriendelijk zijn. zelf bij het inchecken moest ik mee aanschuiven terwijl bij andere maatschappijen je voor mag gaan met kinderen.
