Slightly disappointed."

Lufthansa already gives Silver Star Alliance card holders preferential seats, but for the Montreal flight I got upgraded to Business. What a pleasure! I felt like a really valued customer. At a time where one has to pick value for money and figure out your loyalties in air travel; I can promise that Lufthansa will be a top choice for me on future flights. Excellent in all regards."

Voordelen: "From Munich to Toronto, it was great, especially being seated where I wanted, the window. I was able to watch great movies too, and during a 9hr flight, thats really nice."
Nadelen: "The food could be better. Too salty. But it is better than nothing and it was hot! So that was good."

Nadelen: "It was a really rainy day and we all had to get on shuttles to get to our plane. Once we reached the plane, the crew should have facilitated an orderly boarding through both doors rather than one. This was also a pretty empty flight and other passengers were utilizing their assigned seat as well as a whole other row and calling it theirs just because they set something on one seat. It didn't seem right that some of us had to stay in our little crowded area while others used up 4 seats and I don't mean for laying down."

Voordelen: "We had a four hour delay and were promptly put in a hotel; Sheraton beds are very comfortable, I wish I had more than three hours to sleep."
Nadelen: "I never heard major announcements regarding the delay or the meal voucher (maybe not loud enough?). If they said it only once, they should've repeated it. It sounds stupid, but I waited for an hour at boarding before I realized the lineup is for meal vouchers and not the flight. Nobody approached or announced anything, I had to go and ask about changes and details."

Voordelen: "The entertainment system was good and the crew excellent. The person in front of me did not put their seat back which made my trip more comfortable. Loading and unloading was orderly and efficient."

The flight attendants were so happy and upbeat, it lifted your mood as well! I believe that we left a few minutes early, as boarding was completed early. And thefood? Mind-blowing for airplane food. I really enjoyed this flight."
Nadelen: "There wasn’t much I didn’t like about the flight. Sometimes the announcements were very slightly difficult to hear (accents and whatnot,) but you could still tell what they were saying."

Nadelen: "Boarding process was not easy to hear and it was unclear where the line for our gate ended and the line for the gate right next to ours began"

Voordelen: "Plane was very clean and drink service was frequent."
Nadelen: "The gate was older, not well appointed and far from shops and better dining. We lined up only to be taken on a very long shuttle ride to the plane. I have had this experience before but in this case the planes location was virtually on the other side of the terminal. By the time all were boarded, the plane was late by about 15 minutes to takeoff, and we experienced more delay after that so that on arrival we were an hour delayed. Many missed connections in Vienna as a result. Crew seemed tense and on edge."

Nadelen: "Well, it was all messed up by kayak and priceline. I clearly stated in your search engine I want flight with checked baggage, for which you gave me results. What a unpleasant surprise at check-in to find out it was super expensive airticket with only 8 kg of carry on! You are confusing people on purpose, I cant believe your service! And I was loyal customer for years and years. Well, time for change."

Nadelen: "There were a large group of very smelly passengers that came in at the end portion of boarding. The AC counldnt handle it and the crew didn’t use any spray to save the rest of us suffocating passengers. Thank goodness the flight was short."

Nadelen: "We were almost three hours late on arrival. Being at VIE airport after midnight with no buses going home is no fun."

Voordelen: "boarding/deplaning relatively quick. plenty of leg room in emergency row seat"
Nadelen: "only provided ONE meal on an 11 hour flight?? how is that ok? people were very hungry. when i asked about that, the disinterested flight attendants tried to convince me that they had in fact provided “two services” -they apparently think a small packet of crackers counts as dinner. shortly before landing they served a stale ham sandwich (8 hours after the only meal). Food quality was poor as well. during booking there was not an option to indicate dietary requirements either. not impressed with austrian air overall."

Nadelen: "I wanted to buy an checked-in luggage, but Austrian site did not worked properly, repeatedly gave an error message. I ended up buying it at the counter desk, in the airport, at a much higher price."

Nadelen: "Flight was cancelled. Ended up on Swiss Air. Only good thing about Austrian was they booked us on other flights at the check in desk."

Nadelen: "We sat on the tarmac for 2 hours because a crew member did not have the proper paperwork. This is incompetence. The trip was long enough w/o adding another two hours due to poor planning. This was completely preventable."

Nadelen: "Waited longer to start boarding the plane than the flight took. There are 2 gates in Lugano "airport" and no plane or flight at the other gate. Shouldn't be this difficult. The inflight crew was nice and attentive for the little time we saw them but the ground crew never ev n bothered to make an announcement. Just had us sitting there like a heard of cattle."

Nadelen: "At Vienna gate G31 it was difficult to hear announcements."

Voordelen: "I loved the boarding process. Everything was very organized! I was lucky to sit by myself next to the window, so i had plenty of space to stretch. The flight was right on schedule, so i didnt have to worry about making it to the next flight. Food was good. We were offered the water through the whole trip which is nice, because i always feel super dehydrated on the plane."
Nadelen: "I wasn't very satisfied with the flight attendants. I don't know if its just me getting used to american customer service, or me actually working at the customer service, but it's definetely not the greatest level of service. Girls were giving me an attitude and "smartie" ( in a rude way) responds which kinda made me feel uncomfortable and disrespected. I had the same experience with Lufthansa before. And once with russian airlines. Maybe its some kinda tendency to get erogant at this job, but please, don't get me wrong, its not that kinda job where you should look at people from above"

Nadelen: "I have the 'Economy Class' on the tickets. At check-in at the airport we wrote "economy light" on the boarding pass and want to pay for the first baggage. I check it on the original receipt I received by e-mail, there is ECONOMY CLASS and 1st baggage free of charge, another for a fee. So I do not understand and for two tickets I have paid 2 x 30 €."

Voordelen: "Amazing crew, very good food and coffee. Extremely happy with the Austrian Airlines. From now on I will try to fly mainly with this company. Thank you to all crew members of flight 087 from Vienna to New York on Sunday, 29 May 2017."

Nadelen: "5 hour delay. One staff member said there would be a delay, the second said there was no delay and after a couple hours the delay was confirmed. I was told the flight was full without the attendant even checking, flight was actually not even close to full. Nobody wanted to help and do their job, they just want to send you on your way."

Nadelen: "It was pretty chilly on the flight throughout the entire way. Please use more heat next time. Thank you!"

Even though there were plenty of aisle seats open, the crew member just kinda ignored us. The old lady sitting next to me just slept the whole time and I could not get out to the bathroom. Also since I am left handed I could not really eat since with the right-handed old lady we were hitting each other's elbow and nocking each the food out of each other's hand, I finally pulled my elbow in and ate like a T-Rex. The person in front of me pushed their seat back all the way, I asked the crew member to do something but nothing really was done, since I am a little taller I could not fit my knees, they were crushed."

Voordelen: "The staff were really friendly and the flight was as comfortable for me as a transatlantic journey in stage class can be. The food was surprisingly tasty and that Portuguese wine was offered for free made me and the passengers around me feel welcomed and well taken care of."
Nadelen: "My flight arrived late, apparently, as myself and people on two other connecting tap flights all deplaned after our respective boarding calls had begun. There was no announcement for people with tight connections or about what to do if we couldn't make them. That tap didn't plan out sufficient connection times for the conditions of the airport, and that it was security, not to itself, that did anything to try to expedite is through passport control, etc was disappointing and resulted in several extra hours stuck in the airport for me and for those on one of those other missed flights having to wait overnight for another seat"

Voordelen: "Check-in and baggage drop was fast. Food was good. Cabin crew did their job. Economy plus seats are comfortable and leg room was ok (I'm 1,84m tall). So, smooth and easy flight."
Nadelen: "We arrived with 20 Minutes delay...and it was just the first shuttle of the day... could have been better"

Voordelen: "The only airline that makes me feel like a human being and not a piece of baggage. Very comfortable seating with good legroom for tall people like me. Attendants treat you with respect and are responsive to requests."
Nadelen: "Gate number was different from what was on my ticket and the tv screen at the original gate didn't indicate where the new gate was supposed to be. Don't need that kind of stress when traveling!"

Voordelen: "Seats are ok and good entertainment system"
Nadelen: "The attitude of the hostist and the way they dont give you food choices and don't even explain or say what food they are giving you. When i ask whats in this they gave me a look and a weird attitude"

Voordelen: "If your traveling with a child they are the best! Legroom was good, seats were confortable, and entertainment system was great."
Nadelen: "Breakfast was terrible but I guess I'm lucky the served it. Didnt like that they changed the baggage policy after I purchased my ticket and wouldnt honor the old."

Nadelen: "1. Food. I think that sandwich and juice are not enough for 3 hours flight that costs 130 euros. 2. Departure time. The flight was delayed for more than 1 hours. When we arrived at Schiphol it was night already and trains to towns around were super rare. So we came in home at 3 a.m. instead of the planned 1 a.m."

Voordelen: "The food in Economy was way better than usual U.S. airline food. Ground staff in Newark were helpful in retrieving a book I left on the plane. Captain had the seat belt sign off early and turned it back on late in descent which allowed people to visit the restrooms. Video entertainment was good."
Nadelen: "Captain should have made more P.A. announcements during the coast in over Cape Cod to point out areas of interest"

Voordelen: "Timeliness of check-in and the flight."

Nadelen: "Your change and return policy is a ripoff."

Voordelen: "It was a good flight overall."
Nadelen: "Boarding went smoothly, the food , beverage , and the entertainment was good."

Voordelen: "I was lucky enough to be awarded an upgrade to Business Class on this flight... Relieving the tension of overbooking in economy..I guess my lucky day.."

Voordelen: "The seats were comfortable and already stocked with a pillow and blanket for all. we each had a personal screen stocked with movies, music, games and flight info. at no additional cost and that was great for passing the time during a long flight from Lisbon to NY. The crew was the best part, so pleasant and helpful and professional. We were instructed to close the shades and were allowed to sleep and woken up for the custom form and the great meal which had the option of soda or wine, etc. at no additional cost. The quality of the food was impressive and the salad even came with a packet of real Portuguese olive oil and vinegar. When appropriate we all had to open the shades and drinks were served again and later a small snack of a sandwich and a juice were given all in perfect timing."

Nadelen: "y extra bag cost more than my ticket. I should have just bought another ticket but was too flustered"

Voordelen: "Not enough leg room"

Voordelen: "The crew was fine. Plane clean and comfortable. Would fly again."
Nadelen: "Agent at the gate wouldn't let me do a medical pre-board. When I checked it, the ticket agent said it wouldn't be a problem, I should just ask at the gate. The agent there said there would be no reason to board early even though I have a doctor's note. She said I could board with everyone else and was extremely rude and dismissive. Thank goodness the ticket agent helped me out (by putting me in a seat where I'd be first to board), but if he hadn't, it would have been a terrible experience."

Voordelen: "The plane and food. On my way to Lisbon food was terrible and plane was dirty, and uncomfortable. Also enetertainement was from the sixties. It all changed on the way back with an A330"

Des agents de bord qui ne parle pas un mot de français pour un vol en direction de Montréal. C’est inacceptable et c’est régulier sur air Canada. Je suis vraiment déçue de cette compagnie et je vais essayer d’éviter le plus possible."

Nadelen: "La distance entre les douanes est impitoyable! Ne perdez pas une SECONDE car vous risquez de manquer votre vol!! J’avaIs une correspondance et mon premier vol a été retardé. Un peu plus et je manquais la correspondance!!!"

Nadelen: "L’avion arrivant de Montréal pour m’embarquer à Québec à dû rebrousset chemin pour « bris mécanique ». Conséquence? On me dis que je perd mes correspondances et ne pourrai être à Berlin que 24h plus tard que prévu. J’ai réussi à « trouver un vol » avec une apps sur mon Iphone. Et apprendre l’existence de ce vol à la préposé."

Voordelen: "Le personnel de bord, aimable et bilingue. Le prix du billet très bas ce qui me fait accepter le manque au niveau des services comme les repas et les divertissements à bord. Le commandant a donné des informations tout au long du trajet."
Nadelen: "Le vol Fort Lauderdale-Montréal a été retardé de 1:30h pour un entretien. Sur le vol de départ, le service de divertissement n'a pas fonctionné pendant une longue période. Il faut payer pour manger mais nous avions été avisés par la compagnie."

Voordelen: "Tout était parfait merci à l'équipe Air Canada"

Nadelen: "D'abord changement de mon vol direct pour un vol avec escale puis deux jours avant le retour; annulation du premier trajet. Nous avons dû argumenter pour avoir un vol de retour la journée même"

Nadelen: "Je ne peux pas évaluer les repas. Il devrait y avoir une possibilité de mettre une cote non applicable."

Voordelen: "Très bon vol , personnel courtois et attentionné. Nourriture excellente"

Voordelen: "Autant j'apprécie quand les agents de bord tente de dire quelques mots en français même s'ils ne sont pas totalement bilingue, un essai est toujours mieux qu'un refus. J'ai vu un client qui parlait en français et l'agente dans ce cas ci s'efforçait de lui répondre et parlé en français. Il s'agissait d'un vol de Québec à Montréal, il ne s'agissait pas d'un vol St-John's à Halifax. Autrement le service est bien et les agentes sont gentilles. Air Canada doit mieux faire à ce niveau."

Nadelen: "l'espace entre les rangées est trop restreint Pas assez sévère sur les bagages en cabine 2 et 3 bagages Moi je dois payer pour mon bagage et les gens qui remettent leurs valises a l’entrée n'ont pas a payer"

Voordelen: "Le repas était très bon et chaud! En classe économique , nous avions assez d'espace pour nos jambes."
Nadelen: "Malheureusement , j'ai eu un siège qui ne permettait aucun divertissement, pas d'écran en fonction et pas de lumière pour éclairer mes lectures. J'ai avisé 2 agents de bord pour savoir s'il serait possible de faire un ajustement du système puis je n'ai jamais eu de retour de leur part ...J'aurais aimé avoir une réponse à ma demande !"

Nadelen: "Sur un vol de presque 5h il faudrait peut être une collation gratuite et un meilleur éventail de repas"

Voordelen: "J'ai eu la chance d'avoir de l'espace pour les jambes donc un confort pas si mal malgré tout , le personnel est très courtois super !"
Nadelen: "Je suis déçue que maintenant il n'y ai aucune télévision ou divertissement à bord surtout pour un vol de 8h !"

Nadelen: "Le retard d'une heure après l'embarquement."

Nadelen: "1. L'avion de retour de Genève était beaucoup plus bruyante (Airbus x) que celle à l'aller vers Paris (Boieng 747). 2. L'espace dans cet avion est beaucoup trop restreint pour des vols long courrier. 3. L'achanlandage élevé à l'aréoport de Montréal a du faire poiroter l'avion au moins 30 minutes de plus au-dessus de l'aréoportt. 4. La foule à l'aréoport était si dense qu'il fut long avant que je ne sois dédouané. 5. Conséquences: a) j'ai raté la correspondance pour Ottawa; b) On m'a suggéré de prendre le prochain vol qui était déjà plein (très fort comme calcul) ou de prendre l'autobus... ou t'attendre le vol de 20h30... c) j'ai arpenté les corridors infinis de l'aréoport Trudeau pour tout à fait rien. 6. Ma fille est venue me chercher de Gatineau pour m'y ramener"

Voordelen: "Service à l'heure et arrivée en avance."
Nadelen: "Je suis outré de payer un supplément pour les bagages lorsque la compagnie offre de gérer les bagages de cabines gratuitement lors de l'embarquement. Noter que les bagages de cabines sont de plus en plus gros et qu'il se rapproche énormément des valises que l'on met en soute et auquel il faut payer... C'est vraiment enrageant et j'ai l'impression de me faire avoir."

Nadelen: "La prise pour les écouteurs ne fonctionnait pas, donc je n'ai pas pu utiliser les divertissements!"

Voordelen: "Personnel courtoie et attentionné. Je me suis sentie en sécurité. Très bon vol."
Nadelen: "Je n'ai rien de négatif á rappoter."

C'est inacceptable que Air Canada ne vérifient pas tous les équipements sécuritaires. Il n'y avait pas d'eau courant, ni dans la toilette. Pas de café, car pas d'eau."

Nadelen: "Baggage included ..the return to be certain, not be on standby when it was initially booked as a two way flight."

Voordelen: "Nothing"
Nadelen: "The city I went to was locked down due to covid. Neither the airline nor budget air helped me get a refund before the flight took off.. Still waiting to hear back..."

Voordelen: "Cleaniness, spacious seats, entertainment screen and Off course crew was very helpful."

Nous avons payé des bagages pour un vol que nous n'avons même pas pu embarqué. Préférablement, nous avons tout simplement fait affaire avec une autre ligne aérienne. Il est impossible de rejoindre qui que ce soit au service à la clientèle pouvant nous aider. Auparavant, j'avais déjà fait affaire avec vous et honnêtement, je préfère payer plus cher avec une autre compagnie et obtenir un bon service."

Nadelen: "There was a delay of 4 hours to board from Montreal to Paris. with not any justification or valuable reason from the crew."

Nadelen: "We did not enjoy the entertaining system as the headphones were not complementary. The food was quite okay but quantity was sparce and no cheese provided. Also service was slow. Drinks were served 10 minutes after meal ☹️"

And on top of that when I arrived in Lyon, my baggage wasn't delivered from Toronto (was told at baggage claim desk). I paid $70 dollars for something that didn't get delivered."

Nadelen: "Our stroller wasn’t delivered to us at the gate at arrival. Even though we left it at the door of the plane when we got in the plane. We addressed the issue with 3 staff members and the answer was that “we “ failed to requests it. This was a first for me!"
