Seats are not uncomfortable, which is different from some airlines we’ve been on, and we really like the adjustable headrest where the sides can be flipped up to keep your head from rolling around while snoozing. We like that the silverware is actually metal instead of plastic!"
Nadelen: "The screen that folded out of the armrest was so small that watching a movie on it gave us a headache. The furst meal/lunch was so-so. Personally I would prefer a mixed fresh salad with a little bit of ham or chicken on top instead of the attempt at a hot mushy entree. The second meal/dinner was Similar to a hot pocket. The bread and the filling was pretty tasteless. Why not just have a healthy fruit bowl? Would have liked to see some English language reading material in the seat back pocket – it appeared to be only German language. Alternatively, it would be great if the flight attendants could offer non-German language reading materials upon request."

We are not large people but getting over the aisle armrest was very difficult to maneuver to avoid injury (falling). The security in Munich was upsetting in that one man yelled at me , "Get it out! Get it out! Get it out! because I put my electronics in one of the bins before my husband. I was confused as to what I had supposedly done and I said, "This is my husband" (who was removing his shoes) and this man's reply was "I didn't know that". We were not trying to cause trouble and we cannot understand why he had to yell."

Demande de justificatifs d'adresse lors de l'embarquement alors que ces justificatifs n'étaient pas requis sur le voyage aller. Vérification minutieuse de l'ensemble des poids des bagages à main (qui étaient tous conformes) pour un vol intérieur d'une heure... A l'évidence le service client n'est plus au rendez-vous avec Air France."

Nadelen: "The boarding process was confusing. Once boarding began, there was no attention paid to distancing guidelines. I heard the crew make announcements about mask requirements but never saw anyone being directly reprimanded or corrected for not wearing a mask or not covering their nose while boarding or walking around the cabin. Even though I only counted fewer than 20 passengers for over 100 seats, upon boarding, three solo passengers were assigned to sit in adjacent seats, with me in the row directly in front of them and another passenger in the row directly behind them. There was no precaution to space out passengers whatsoever. I had tried to choose my seating during check in but the online app was difficult to understand what seats were actually open or taken. Once I boarded it was clear the online information was incorrect. With so few passengers, the gate crew could easily have taken the time to review seating and re-seated customers for improved health and safety. This was my first time flying during COVID and I had thought airlines were doing more to instill trust in customers to keep customers flying but I will not be flying again until COVID is over as I did not see precautions keeping customers safe."

Voordelen: "I require a wheelchair for getting around the airport. When I first checked in at LHR, they claimed to have no record of my wheelchair request and my seat change, despite my very clear notations of who and when these were made. They did have a record of my paying for one suitcase. The agent at LHR promised to make these corrections so I would not have the same problem when returning to London. Furthermore, to turn this into a humiliating situation, at the gate I was informed that the jetway was broken and they would have to find some other way to get me onboard the plane. I cannot believe that British Airways has no contingency plan for a situation like mine. After many discussions between BA reps and ground crewmen they decided to bring me down in a lift at Gate 34, though my plane was at Gate 32. I was then loaded onto the freight platform of one of those food delivery trucks and driven over to my plane. The truck backed into place and again I hoisted up to the plane. However the plane door was locked and we had to bang on it for them to finally open it. To my great embarrassment I helped down the aisle to my assigned seat, looking back at the curious looks and glares from all those passengers who had no explanation for the delay and humiliating scene. Officially the flight was listed at 28 minutes late, when in reality it was 40 minutes till we taxied away from the gate My return flight from Brussels was little better because the changes that were supposed to have been entered at LHR never were and so I had to go through this whole routine again costing me over one hour in delays. Fortunately I was able to board the flight through the jetway and did not have to be hoisted up again, and delivered like freight. How would you rate these flights. I had problems with every single British Airways flight!!"

Voordelen: "Extended information from the captain was very nice"

Voordelen: "I would have liked to have been offered water at least without a charge."

Voordelen: "The flight to NO was good. Service was good as well."
Nadelen: "The seating was much more cramped than the flight to Ireland. Very tight quarters for a 10 hour flight. Other than that, it was good. We arrived safely and that's the best feeling ever!"

Voordelen: "Got food poisoning from flight or Italian restaurant at terminal 3"

Voordelen: "the plane was clean"
Nadelen: "3 hour delay, no communication with customers regarding delay or connection. Once we finally arrived st Heathrow for the 2nd leg of our journey, we were put on a later connection, no apologies whatsoever from any of the employees. Overall we spent over 4 hours in the air. We were never served even a glass of water or a bag of pretzels. The seats were very tight with very little leg room, and I am only a 5'6" female."

Nadelen: "Boarding the plane. I do not know why the airlines load the people who are at the front of the plane first. Load the people on the back of the plane first. That way, when you call the next section, the people in the back are not blocking people as they enter. An alternative is to call people in sections based on where they sit in a row. If you have window seat, you should be called first. Why? Because so many passengers who have aisle seats have to get up to let people with middle or window seats get in. So, they hold traffic up as people are trying to get to their seats. After window seat passengers get called, then call middle seat passengers, and last, call aisle seat passengers."

Nadelen: "Flight diverted baf customer service over the phone"

Voordelen: "I was prepared with my smart phone and iPad and external batteries, turns out I needed none of those things! What a pleasant surprise for the in flight movies, music and tv to be perfect. I didn't even have to use my external battery on the flight because there is a perfect USB port in the screen in front of you. The food was as good as airplane good gets, the plane incredibly comfortable and staff was attentive. I don't love the long flights but this BA flight is now my go to anytime Im headed to Europe."

Voordelen: "Al parts of flight expertly handled by staff, especially cabin people. Thanks for a great flight, VA."

Nadelen: "Weinig te eten weinig te drinken voor zo'n lange vlucht. Geen geluid op entertainment"

Nadelen: "The seats on this British Airways flight were so tight and pitched forward that my knees were jammed into the seat in front of me and I felt as if I was being launched forward the entire flight. Not comfortable or safe."

Voordelen: "I wish the menu can be more kid friendly. I enjoy the food no my kiddos"

Voordelen: "Early departure (relatively small plane) and early arrival. Boarding and departures relatively quick given small plane size. Service was good. Overhead bins were spacious. Plane was relatively new and fairly high-tech. Food was good and selection was great. Cabin crew went out of their way to accommodate our requests."
Nadelen: "The Dreamliner is quite a noisy and warm plane. Also, cabin crew aren't very specific with meals (e.g. chicken or beef rather than chicken with rice or beef with potatoes). Snack between meals chargeable. Some trouble with the on board entertainment system that was resolved early on. Stroller arrived fairly late."

Nadelen: "With so many empty seats on the front. They decided to crunch everyone in the back without the minimal distance requested for social distancing. Very disappointed. Social distance is not practiced at AA as in Delta. Very sad. Will remember that next time I book a flight."

Nadelen: "Boarding is so disorganized. Really Group 9 is just a way to make the passengers wish they had chosen a different airline."

Voordelen: "Missed my connecting flight due to the flight from lax was delayed for 50 minutes, because of no fuel"

Nadelen: "Departure time kept changing."

Nadelen: "The flight had an emergency oxygen failure an hour into the flight, so we had to turn around and go back to the departure city for 4 hours. Extremely annoying on an overnight flight."

Voordelen: "Extremely friendly and professional. Assets to your Airline."

Nadelen: "Leg room"

Nadelen: "The service, and the smile on employee’s faces. Rolling their eyes at people because we want to know why we’re being delayed is disrespectful"

Voordelen: "nothing since i was not able to make it on time"
Nadelen: "Flight between fort myers and charlotte was stuck on the tarmac for more than 1h. I missed my connexion and was rebooked next day at 11am. I missed one full day of work. Next time, the flight could wait 15 o 20mn to allow passengers to reach the gate"

Voordelen: "On time flight. We were even a little early."
Nadelen: "Those seats are just crammed in there aren’t they?"

Voordelen: "Juste la rapidité du vol.les pilotes étaientt très bien autour du vol..."
Nadelen: "Le vol a accusé un retard de une heure et en plus on n'a changé du lieu d'embarquement qui est passé du 77 au 75.il fallait que chaque voyageur se renseigne."

Voordelen: "L’equipage ne répondait pas à nos questions et le service laissait à désirer. Les sièges étaient confortables mais nous avons dû se faire réassigner parce qu’on nous avait séparés sur tous les vols."
Nadelen: "Le service à la clientèle"

Voordelen: "Mon avion est parti de SF à Miami pendant une heure puis à fait Demi-tour. Nous avons attendu 2h à l’aéroport. Nous n’avons pas été pris en charge. Terrible expérience. Je n’ai pas été remboursée."

Nadelen: "There was a technical difficulty with the plane, which made a short delay in our flight."

Nadelen: "The flight was over booked, at the point of boarding there was no room left on the flight for any carry on’s so they wanted everyone to check bags one particular lady at the gate snatched my husbands boarding pass out of his had and threw it back at him so it landed on the floor. She came back with a checked bag ticket, this bag could have fit under the seat. We would have preferred not to check the bag because it had everything in it we needed access to like medication, ear buds, book, tablet, it also contained my Jewlery and various other things. The lady was extremely rude when I told her I prefer not to check the bag, she said we could take everything out of the bag we needed but that would have been 70 % of what was in the bag, where was I supposed to put all this stuff? My small purse was already full. my husband was upset at her treatment and said something to her and she told us we where welcome to book another flight. I paid a hell of a lot of money on this flight alone plus upgraded our seats with extra legroom. Once on the plane the seating was so crammed, uncomfortable and no legroom. My seat reclined but my husbands did not. I will never fly American Airlines again."

Nadelen: "The flight from Charlotte to Jacksonville denied 4 passengers boarding due to a weight restriction being met during the boarding process. There were no more same day flights available and staff was confused about how to resolve the issue."

Nadelen: "Le vol a été annulé personne ne nous a averti c’est kayak qui nous a dit de vérifier. Ils nous ont mis sur aucun autre vol jusqu’au lendemain."

Voordelen: "The boarding agent and flight attendants were on, although the flight attendants didn’t do a second drink service on a six-hour flight out of laziness but blamed turbulence. (There were 2 hours after the turbulence with fasten seatbelt signs off.)"
Nadelen: "No in-flight entertainment except on your own device. No power, ensuring your device will die on a long flight. The old US Airways fleet from the Northeast is awful. And the lazy flight attendants didn’t do a second drink service."

Voordelen: "Nothing"
Nadelen: "The first flight was canceled, kayak did not even bother to contact me"

Nadelen: "They charge for coffee."

Voordelen: "The boarding was quick and easy as well as the crew was friendly and accommodating. Great end to a fun weekend away."

Nadelen: "My wife’s air vent was not working so we had to share. This flight was the worst of 3 during our trans-Atlantic travels despite being the shortest. I wish the previous pax had closed the shades to keep the a/c cool."

Voordelen: "Once aboard, LATAM is actually quite impressive. The logistical part of the company is horrendous, but the service onboard is exemplar."
Nadelen: "LATAM changed my itinerary without my authorization and despite my clear verbal directions to NOT change it. The airline took directions from a corrupt official with the Colombian immigration office and cancelled my return flights. I was forced to purchase an additional ticket, travel on and separate flight from my wife and children. I then had to spend several hours waiting to resolve the case in person. The customer service at LATAM is a joke. If I'd received this treatment in the United States, I would have filed a lawsuit for their infringement on my rights and collaboration with the discriminatory practices of the Colombian immigration office in Bogota."

Nadelen: "Aucune des télé ne fonctionne pendant la totalité du vol Biscuits food ridicules Le prix des bagages et la queue pour obtenir son ticket puis refaire la queue pour déposer bagages Double paiement bagages mémé en transit / inacceptable"

Nadelen: "There were no TVs for each passenger especially for a 3+ hour long flight which was disappointing."

Voordelen: "Time was good. Ground service was good. In-flight was okay. Because I love Cathay so much I took a 3 hour longer trip through LA (vs. Seattle) and paid more. But I was berating myself for that. But the flight back was Cathay service at its finest."

Voordelen: "tout le service en général."

Nadelen: "notre vol a été retarde retarde!!au lieu de décoller comme prévu à 8h30 notre vol a été finalement annulé vers 23h30. On m'a relooké sur un vol pour LONDRES le lendemain à 19.h. Nous sommes restés plus de 24 h dans cet aéroport sans que nous soit proposé un hôtel. on nous a donné une couverture et un oreillé!!d'autre ont pu etre rebooké sur d'autre vols sur NY ou chicago le matin meme. Nous avons perdu une journée de travail mon époux et moi-meme. Lui a du annuler une formation impliquant 10 personnes qui venait de toute la France."

Voordelen: "We took off and arrived on time. That was the only thing they did right."
Nadelen: "The service was terrible. The stewardess was clearly doing exactly what she needed to in order to not get fired."

Voordelen: "Flight Attendants were excellent. Especially good was the senior FA who was seen training the junior ones who were on their maiden flight. The breakfast omelet with turkey sausage was about as good as they get."
Nadelen: "Nearly two hour delay due to fog in SFO. Recommend AA reroute into OAK where the fog is not so bad and the airport has a way better arrival on time rate than SFO. The drive into San Francisco is about the same time from OAK as it is from SFO."

Nadelen: "A passenger caused a delay in security, and as I'm rushing for the gate, the agent closed the door and told me I couldn't board. She then marked me as a no-show, while she was standing right next front of her. I had to spend the next 4 hrs on the phone, trying to get my tickets sorted out. Then, upon arriving at Heathrow,... No luggage. They told me it was still in Chicago. Upon finally receiving my bags, I find them full of sawdust and sand, and several items damaged. I will NEVER fly American Airlines again, and I will highly recommend to my friends and family to avoid them like them plague. Horrible service! Nothing but a run-around and not once did the agents apologise, even after admitting that my problems on this journey were due to a mistake made by one of their agents."

Voordelen: "Long flight, but I really like the 787. Comfortable travel."
Nadelen: "American airlines mishandled my luggage. Extremely poor communication about status. (I don't know how much all my phone calls to them will end up costing!) Two and a half days later, I have to return to the airport to pick it up. If you travel with AA, pack MORE than essentials in your carry-on! Also it is criminal that they charge extra for aisle seats!"
