Delta were magnificent. All really helpful and a joy to travel with. Food was very nice and they kept me topped up wthe water, cold drinks etc. Heathrow was very busy that time of day and despite arriving early I needed all the extra time to queue to check in luggage and then the waiting to get through security was very long and only just got to the gate as it was closing. You need to aim to be in Heathrow 3 hours before take off, not two.

Check in is poorly marked Heathrow lounge was excellent, service very good New Virgin upper class suites technically qualify as business class but they are very cramped and there is no storage space at all. No sleep suits available in my size, on any of the flights. Rather leave it if you can't deliver. Toiletry bag is cheap and tacky. Compare with the price paid for a business class ticket.

Places réservées sur kayak avec option grande place . Non respecté. Confort abominable sur le vol retour. Vol de départ annulé cause Covid seulement quelques heures avant le départ. Incertitude pour un vol de replacement, finalement obtenu 12 heures après . Merci kayak: plus jamais chez vous.
Personnel très professionnelle et à l’écoute des besoins des passagers. Repas assez bien, surtout salade fraîche. Proposition de plats aux légumes pourrait améliorer l’expérience pour les personnes qui ne mangent pas de pâtes. Globalement tout s’est très bien passé.

Nadelen: "My first leg flight was delayed and I booked through kayak on two different airlines and the first airline did not communicate with the second airline so 5 passengers ran to make the change and arrived 1 min after the jetbridge to get on the plane was pulled away. It was incredible frustrating and could have very easily been avoided with communication from the airlines"

Voordelen: "I've had knee surgery and the flight attendants were very accommodating as to "make" and ice pack for me. The recline of the seats was impecible. The food was great. Overall, great flight."

Nadelen: "Boarding is always a bit of chaos when our seats are right in the back. People further up insist on boarding early and block the aisles in the process. Multiple levels of passport control and baggage checkout are chaotic, but that's for most all flights coming into USA? VIrgin/Delta handled it well enough. By the time we got through passport control in Boston ur bags were waiting and we had no problems at all."

I told her I did not like wasting plastic and she appeared to not enjoy what I had to say. This was the same lady who handed me my dinner. Rest of crew was great."

Le transfert de dossier entre Delta et Air France qui affrétait l'avion n'avait pas été réalisé. Nous n'avions pas de billets pour le vol retour. Le personnel Air France à l'enregistrement nous a dit de nous débrouiller avec le service assistance Delta Américain pour le transfert de notre dossier, alors que j'ai des enfants en bas âge… Finalement, quelqu'un a accepté de s'occuper de nous, et après une heure de négociation, il est parvenu à nous avoir des billets d'avion. C'était une expérience très désagréable. Je ferai attention pour mon prochain voyage à acheter mes billets d'avion autrement
Nous avons fait la queue pour l’embarquement pendant de longues minutes. Au moment de passer, on nous dit que nos passeports doivent être vérifiés. Obligation de suivre une autre queue. L’hôtesse nous demande notre test Covid alors qu’il n’y en n’a pas besoin pour revenir en France. Une fois les passeports vérifiés, on nous demande de retourner à la fin de la première queue…donc très long !

Des casques anti bruits pourraient être transmis si les conditions de voyage deviennent difficiles : les pleurs et les cris d’enfants durant tout le trajet et ce quasi sans interruption ont rendus le vol très désagréable . Vol choisi à l’initial car etant un vol de nuit et cela permettait d’avoir un peu de calme. Le personnel était sympathique et avait des bases en français ce qui était agréable. Ce qui n’était pas réellement le cas pour le vol aller . En vous remerciant,

Notre départ et notre arrivée étaient à l’heure. Nous étions bien servis par les membres d’équipage. Malheureusement, moins d’espace dans ce modèle d’avion que dans les modèles plus récents. Les écrans installés dans les sièges fonctionnent très lentement, donc pas beaucoup de divertissement pour le vol de 8 heures

Encore et toujours du retard, nous avons du changer de vol puis d'avion, imprimer de nouveaux billets et n'avons connu nos places qu'au moment d'embarquer
J'ai manqué ma connection en dépit des assurances de l'équipage. 6 heures d'attente.
Vol retardé (+ d'1 heure), pilote qui annonce que les autres vols à Frankfurt sont aussi retardés, donc qu'il sera possible tout de même de continuer le voyage. Annonce qu'un employé de Lufthansa va nous attendre pour nous aiguiller. Rien de cela ne s'est passé. La seule chose c'est que j'ai manqué ma connection, à peu près 8 heures de retard. Inacceptable
Le fait de refuser de servir un deuxième verre de vin sous prétexte d’effectifs réduits à cause de la pandémie, Servir de l’eau ou du vin ce ´n’est pas plus difficile ! Aucun choix de repas et une bouillie trop cuite qu’ils osent appeler pasta. Personnel de bord particulièrement expéditif et antipathique. Le pire long courrier de ma vie.

Nadelen: "My biggest issue was that my seat didn't recline. 30C. It was quite unpleasant for a 5 hour flight with a large man pushing his seat farther back than it goes, in front of me. The other issue was that one gentleman flight attendant had terrible body odor. He mostly smelled like he'd been sweating, but his uniform was in desparate need of laundering ... particularly the pants. I started to mention to it with the friend that I was traveling with, and she knew what I was going to describe before I said it, despite us not talking during the flight (seats were split apart). I'd also mention - although there may not be anything that can be done - but boarding was a nightmare. A large Chicago flight had a boarding line crossing in front of our gate as we were called to get in line (no zones or row numbers). It was quite slow to be standing for 50 minutes and the entire plane settling into all rows at once."

Voordelen: "My neighbor was nice. I did not really like anything else about this particular flight."
Nadelen: "Many of the electronics on the plane did not work. Could not summon flight crew, not turn on light. Seatbelt signs did not work. Plane was horrendously outdated. Former Kenyan Airlines livery. Unless I’m going to Iceland, I am going to avoid Icelandair from this point forward."
Nadelen: "I was very surprised, that I had to pay for my luggage. Didn’t have to do that flying from Boston to Munich, but on my way back."
Voordelen: "Crew was attentive"
Nadelen: "1. Be on time! Switching planes last minute is not ok. Missed our train and many people missed connecting flights and trains because flight got delayed and did not make up the time. 2. Very hot on the plane. No temperature control. 3. Any snacks or food for purchase only."
Voordelen: "The crew was amazing. The seat was comfortable."
Nadelen: "It would always be nicer to have more leg room"
Voordelen: "Crew was not pleasant and not greeting the passengers , but very supportive during the flight . Food for purchase only . Laggage is too expensive. Entertainment very old and not a lot to chose from. I was sitting in the emergency exit seat , that was very uncomfortable for my legs ."
Nadelen: "Smile, take less money for check in bags , food or at least snacks free."
Nadelen: "They asked everybody to put fit carry-ons in measuring bin and it slowed boarding a lot. Some bags got stuck there, it was quite entertaining :)"
Voordelen: "The plane was clean but the seats are not very comfortable"
Nadelen: "Icelandair makes you think that the ticket is a real bargain but the luggage charges to check one bag per person cost as much as the ticket, then you have to pay for food and many seat choices."
Voordelen: "The food was pretty good and crew pretty nice"
Nadelen: "The amenities of flying Icelandair are more expensive than other airlines of a similar airfare. The cost to check a bag, the wifi charges and no complimentary food is just a tad steep."
Voordelen: "Appareil moderne. Tranquillité du vol. Nous étions 3 dans la classe Saga.."
Nadelen: "Pas de service en français. Pas de divertissement en français. La bouffe non mangeable. Débarquement par l'arrière de l'avion. Embarquement par bus"
Voordelen: "Embarquement prioritaire. Avión moderne N'étudie acceptable."
Nadelen: "Pas de divertissement en français. Pas de service en français. Retard au départ."
Voordelen: "Food on business class was good. The coffee was excellent."
Nadelen: "I had to wait almost one hour at check in. The person in charge said there were "issues" with my visa. She allowed me to board to Reykjavik and said the issues would be solved as I flew. I had to check in again at Reykjavik. There was no "issue" with my visa and I was received normally at my destination. Comfort level on business class was sub-par and options on entertainment center very limited."
Voordelen: "I had sprained my ankle the day before my flights, and the crew were all very nice and accommodating for me."
Nadelen: "I didn't like the fact that when I booked my flight, I was misled to believe that my checked baggage was included. The message said that "cabin baggage was included", but since when is cabin baggage NOT included?? I was surprised to find out when I was checking in that I had to pay an extra 50 Euros to check my luggage in, which I was really not happy about since the flight itself was already so expensive."
Voordelen: "Comfort. The seats and IFE were great."
Nadelen: "Boarding was 45+minutes and involved standing in a cramped hall before boarding a bus to then climb the gateway in the rain :("
Voordelen: "The crew was welcoming."
Nadelen: "The boarding was delayed by an hour, and people were just standing squeezed to the gate in the busy Reykjavik airport. The flight was rough at times, but I suppose that's a Mother Nature's fault. Food and drink (for purchase) was fine."
Voordelen: "Avion neuf, confortable et silencieux. Nous sommes partis en retard mais sommes arrivés « presque » à l’heure prėvue."
Nadelen: "La barrière de départ n’a pas été indiquée sur les écrans électroniques, et comme nous nous étions enregistrés en ligne et que nous attendions au salon où les vols ne sont pas annoncés, nous sommes arrivés tard à l’embarquement et avons presque manqué notre vol. À bord, le personnel a fait le nécessaire mais pas plus, service peu chaleureux et minimaliste. Le débarquement s’est fait avec une navette, comme à Mirabel dans le temps, et comme il n’y avait qu’une seule navette à la porte arrière, le processus a êté laborieux."
Voordelen: "Excellent friendly crew. Modern plane with nice seat. Nice airport in Reykjavik."
Nadelen: "Boarding area had not enough places to sit. They don't serve food on the flights, but you can buy snacks."
Voordelen: "movies and music were ok"
Nadelen: "My daughter booked this for me and went cheap, so partly my fault.. I never spend over five hours on a flight and got zero to eat; no peanuts, no anything.. food, snacks and drinks were way overpriced"
Voordelen: "Clean plane and facilities. Nice crew. Email notifications of delays"
Nadelen: "Multi-hour delays - strike induced on outbound flight, weather induced on return flight. Email notifications were nice but inconsistent. Expensive food."
Voordelen: "Believe aircraft was about 2 hours out of Iceland when my 87 yo mother had and emergency being unconscious. The crew jump into action unbelievable and assisted with remarkable training. Thank GOD there was a MD on board from Germany also a paramedic. Crew,MD,Paramedic took over the situation and mother was recovered THANK GOD for the training your attendants are given or surely it would have been a death on board 3 hours until landing in Boston. I was surely a MIRACLE for me and my family. No words can express our the skills of those on board. I only suggestion is that more IV solution should be on board - the bottle was small - but certainly aided in her recovery. THANK YOU THANK YOU ICELAND AIR"
Voordelen: "Everything was great except the boarding process at KEF for outbound back to BOS."
Nadelen: "The boarding process at KEF for flight back to BOS was a mess. Only one attendant checking people in. The gate was so crowded it was ridiculous. The one attendant did not have any PA system so you couldn't hear any of her announcements. It was a long, hot, crowded wait to get onto the bus that brought us over to the plane. Not the best way to end our trip to Iceland."
Voordelen: "Second time I have flown to Brussels with Iceland Air. I love their customer service and especially the flight route. My flight going over was cancelled due to weather. I called their reservation office , had to wait on hold for 1 hour and 15 minutes , but it was worth it. The reservation agent found me a new flight on LH, she explained I would get a conformation about 3 hours after our conversation with the flight information and new txt information. I was able to check in with LH on line that evening. Iceland Air had every pre assigned seats for me."
Nadelen: "The boarding process in Kevlavik is pretty awful. No seating around gate areas. You have to stand in line for about 30 minutes to then have to get on shuttle to be driven to plane where you have to walk on stairs to get to plane, or in some cases you actually get to board from the terminal, which happened yesterday. I have MS,and sometimes standing for long periods of time and then having to climb up stairs is difficult for me. I also see a lot of elderly people and parents with babies having difficulty with this boarding process. Their airport really needs major expansion for the amount of people that travel thru their. Seating araes around their gates should be a priority."
Nadelen: "Same boarding delays. Airport gates have no seating and hard to hear announcements in other areas. Posting of gate info was late as well"
Voordelen: "Icelandair caters to children which is exceptional."
Nadelen: "There were just a few chairs for people to sit in while waiting to board. The boarding zones were crammed together so it was absolute chaos lining up to board. I was really surprised but the Icelandair personnel at the airport were extremely unfriendly. They seemed irritated when asked a question and did not smile."
Voordelen: "The flight attendents were nice and did a good job."
Nadelen: "The plan was small for a5 in a half hour flight. On top of that there was not even as much as a snack given and everything on the menu was way over priced. Just think it is in human to have people in the air taped that long and force them to pay extra on top of ticket price to have a snack. Very disappointed if i can help it i will not fly with them again. This is the 3 straight year i have so seems like we are being forced to go with them."
Nadelen: "Rejkjavik aiport is woefully undersized and understaffed to handle the volume of passengers connecting through to other destinations. Jam-packed waiting areas and walking aisles and long queues in restrooms and refreshment areas. A lovely building, but not a pleasant experience at all."
Voordelen: "Good price and short layover. The plane was clean and comfortable."
Nadelen: "The boarding process in Reykjavik was chaotic. Food and entertainment available for PURCHASE."
Voordelen: "Personnel sympa, avion confortable."
Nadelen: "Absence de repas de qualité offerts."
Nadelen: "48h et 27 minutes de retard sur l'horaire prévu."
Nadelen: "5h de retard.... Aucune prise en charge par la compagnie. Si je n'appelle pas, personne ne s'occupe de nous. Retour cauchemardesque!"

Nadelen: "Qu'ils devancent le vol de 15 minutes; on a failli Le rater. Aussi: piètre qualité de l'offre de nourriture."
Voordelen: "It was on a very comfortable plane, tons of legroom, polite service, and budget friendly price."
Nadelen: "Boarding took forever, long lines, flight was an hour late. Not sure if this is due more to IcelandAir or the airport. Although it was a 6 hour long trip food was only available for purchase..and it was very expensive. Limited selection of entertainment (and seldom subtitles or translations in other languages) as well."
Voordelen: "Service on the plane was excellent."
Nadelen: "Reykjavik airport is rough! It is very crowded and boarding was chaotic."
Voordelen: "Love the leg room... nothing exceptional, but more than the other discount airlines. Free layover in Iceland. Kind and helpful staff. Includes one checked bag and in flight movies (not latest releases, but enough to get you there.)"
Nadelen: "Limited free drink choices, but you do get tea, coffee, and some soft drinks. Check the in-flight magazine to make sure you don't plan on a Coke and end up with 7Up. Boarding at KEF is a free for all, Iceland style. If the Scandinavians start lining up, get in line. Not that it matters much since seats are assigned and there is adequate carryon space due to free checked bag."
Nadelen: "Our seats were reassigned at the last minute (upon boarding) to seats that couldn't recline at all. The people in front of us could recline their seats fully, giving us no room whatsoever to move. We had no room to even rest our heads on the table or cross our legs. It was very uncomfortable. Had I known the seating was so uncomfortable, I would not have flown this airline. These were not the seats we selected earlier, so we were taken by surprise at being given such terrible seats and offered no options. I will not fly this airline again."
Nadelen: "Too bad that there is no food included in the flights. We bought sandwiches, and they were worth it though :)"
Voordelen: "Friendly crew"
Nadelen: "I was never sent an online check-in email, so I was assigned a last-row seat at the gate. Food options are very limited and expensive."

Nadelen: "Everyone was very rude and would not answer questions and flight very delayed. No bad weather conditions"

Nadelen: "Flight between fort myers and charlotte was stuck on the tarmac for more than 1h. I missed my connexion and was rebooked next day at 11am. I missed one full day of work. Next time, the flight could wait 15 o 20mn to allow passengers to reach the gate"

Voordelen: "L’equipage ne répondait pas à nos questions et le service laissait à désirer. Les sièges étaient confortables mais nous avons dû se faire réassigner parce qu’on nous avait séparés sur tous les vols."

Nadelen: "We flew from Rome to JFK and arrived at 12:40 pm only to find out that our 3:30 pm flight had been cancelled a long time ago. No one had notified us of our new booking on a 9:10 flight to Boston. No one at American or British Airways could provide us with an earlier departure or compensate us to take alternative transportation. Our 9:10 flight was then delayed until 10:50 pm. We arrived in Boston at 12:02 am, 11 1/2 hours after our arrival at JFK from Rome. This was not a very friendly welcome home. We never would have booked such an extended delay as we only live 4 hours from New York City."
Nadelen: "notre vol a été retarde retarde!!au lieu de décoller comme prévu à 8h30 notre vol a été finalement annulé vers 23h30. On m'a relooké sur un vol pour LONDRES le lendemain à 19.h. Nous sommes restés plus de 24 h dans cet aéroport sans que nous soit proposé un hôtel. on nous a donné une couverture et un oreillé!!d'autre ont pu etre rebooké sur d'autre vols sur NY ou chicago le matin meme. Nous avons perdu une journée de travail mon époux et moi-meme. Lui a du annuler une formation impliquant 10 personnes qui venait de toute la France."
Voordelen: "The crew was very kind."
Nadelen: "There was an issue where someone had boarded and somehow taken my seat. I was asked to wait until the very end and then allowed in my seat once the passenger in my designated seat was asked to deboard the plane. I don't know how that could have happened."
Voordelen: "Pro: Those darn cookies are the bomb. Coffee was on point."
Nadelen: "Cons: The leg room was as bad as spirit. I was struggling for a while with my bag, and none of the flight attendants thought to help. Flight attendants ran into me a few times waking me up, and I wake up apologizing not them. Also, so darn painfully cold in the back of the cabin."
Voordelen: "Great boarding, crew and seating space"
Nadelen: "Bathroom line for some reason was always long. Entertainment via wifi was just ok. Older movies only. New movies on the tiny screens that come down every 4 rows or so."
Voordelen: "Liked that there were easily accessible power ports"

Nadelen: "Décollage en retard et arrivée avec plus de 40mn de retard Pas de classe premium eco et pas de possibilité d’avoir un espace avec un de place pour les jambes au comptoir Pour information générale , les places en économie sont très exiguës et généralement j’essaye de ne pas prendre de vol AA si je ne peux pas prendre à l’avance un siège sur les sortie de secours ce qui n’a pas été possible cette fois"
Nadelen: "Everything. Flights canceled due to "weather" but every other airline was flying to these locations and the customer service experience was miserable at best."
Voordelen: "Comfortable flight. Great communication from pilots, and the service was great."
Nadelen: "Very old fashioned plane, with one tv to watch a movie. I don't think I've flown on anything like that since the 90's."
Voordelen: "Nothing really, very upsetting start of a vacation."
Nadelen: "The layover in Boston was an hour or so, but the miscommunication between American Airlines and Iberia was such, that my luggage never left the US. I am very upset cause Iberia did not even provided any good ground help in Lisbon - Portugal, with the most rude personnel I ever had to deal with that was actually annoyed I was complaining they lost my luggage, they offer no assisatance."
