Nadelen: "We departed late and arrived at least 30-40 mins late. Crowded plane. I was very uncomfortable, the person sitting next to me took up space and was not very friendly. Bathrooms were not so clean at times (this may not necessarily be the airline’s fault)."

Flight departed and arrived late, breakfast meal was missed due as fridge broke.

The only vegetarian food is also vegan, this primarily consisted of tiny trays of overbuild veg that must have contained about 150 calories, after about 12 hours I felt like I was literally starving. As I'd been stuck in the middle seat going to the galley to request snacks was difficult. I would buy your own food in the airport.

Voordelen: "The crew could be less curt and more engaging. Coming from Guest Services in hospitality, leisure and tourism it is obvious that body language and sincere engagement stands out. That wasn’t the case for the Qantas flight."
Nadelen: "I was unable to checkin or select seats. Understandably this is governed by immigration laws and not airlines but on three attempts I was able to pay for the seats without a receipt only to learn later that the charge did not go through. A little bit of transparency never costs anyone."
Nadelen: "For a flagship airline, a in seat screen should be a given. This is not a budget airline."
Voordelen: "Clean, roomy and peaceful flight"
Nadelen: "Not being 20min late and having NO ground announcement about the delay and impact on connecting flights. When I suggest to a staff member that perhaps they should keep customers informed, they said they couldn’t because they didn’t know. They helpfully suggested I google for information! Seriously!"

Voordelen: "One member of the crew did her best to treat me as a premium FF member. That was about it."
Nadelen: "Qantas really screwed up the operational management of this flight resulting in a long delay into Sydney and then a further delay to Brisbane. Getting the water weight and balance right is FLIGHTOPS 101, but not for this B Team. Much of the flight delay was completely avoidable."

Nadelen: "That I was rebooked for a flight I showed up to before it took me off. Literally people that showed up after me got on the plane"
Voordelen: "The crew member went above and beyond for the passengers, some of whom were less than friendly and polite!"
Nadelen: "It really had to do with parents not controlling their kids and allowing them to play spongebob on the iPad without headphones. I used the wraps and eye mask that were provided so it all ended up being a great flight in the end."

Nadelen: "Didn’t like the the whole check in process. None of the system worked. Manual check in all the way and took so long. Not enough staff to service."
Nadelen: "The wine costs 6 $, that's cheap but when i pay 400$ for a 2 hours flight, i find it a little hard to pay for a little glass of wine."
Nadelen: "My family of 4 were not seated together even though all four tickets were purchased together in the same booking. After booking through KAYAK for flights, the on-line check-in process was a nightmare with the KAYAK booking number not matching the information required by QANTAS. As my children were all spread over the plane, and two son's look very similar, a hostess almost did not serve one of my son's a meal as she believed my son had already received a meal further forward in the plane. Thankfully, upon checking, the hostess realised that it was a case of mistaken identity."
Voordelen: "Twice this trip, 2 qantas staff rectified our seating allocation so we could sit together as a family and i didn't even have to ask. The staff are always so pleasant and engaging."
Nadelen: "A mishap when allocating seats online, when i chose seats for us online (my fault i left it too late) there weren't any together...but the staff rectified this..."

Nadelen: "First I wasn't told I'd be going domestic . Arrived at the airport 4:30 to catch the internation flight @7:20. Funny thing is I was the only person around. There was the changing of shifts for ground & cleaning etc. No ticket booths. Put passport in kiosk,it said basically no. Finally a ticket agent showed up. She tried my passport ,and nothing. Checked threw the computer & it said leaving out of domestic. Go down to the end of the hall, can check in there. It's Qantas alright, not open till 7:00. Start to panic a bit. Stopped someone and asked. They told me I was at the wrong terminal! Get to other, check in. Ask if I have to collect luggage and customs at LAX. No goes right threw. Wrong. Waited for cases at LAX. Have to collect & go threw customs. No cases, lost in Melbourne. Then I was ignored."

Nadelen: "L'enregistrement n'était pas possible en ligne puis très long à l'aéroport. Nous avons eu 25 minutes de retard au décollage car cause d'un mauvais compte de bagages qu'il a donc fallu décharger puis recharger. Comme d'habitude, le système de divertissement était lent."
Voordelen: "The crew is always nice and approachable. The entertainment is usually high but this time around there weren't many good choices."
Nadelen: "The food is AWFUL, and has been getting worse as the years go on. Absolutely terrible taste, stomach-churning smells and gross consistency. During boarding I was profiled by one of your gate agents and "selected for further screening" ... not fun. No explanations, just surly, inattentive agents performing further checks on items that had already been twice-checked at security. Awful service."
Voordelen: "Was able to quickly check in and get through security. The front counter staff were friendly and efficient. Minimal waiting to board."
Nadelen: "The plane was filthy. My seat was sticky and covered in what appeared to be food of some sort. Flight attendant wiped it off, but it wasn't clean by any means. The seat belts were twisted and had food and crud stuck to them. When I changed my clothes the next day, there was food and stains on my black pants from where I sat on the dirty seats."
Voordelen: "Loved the crew, very friendly and helpful. Liked having my own tv screen on the back of the seat. Food was great."
Nadelen: "Wish there was more leg room and ability to lie down. It was a 12-13 hour flight."

Nadelen: "The lounge was horrible. Crowded, lack of choice for food and drink. Not even crisps available, just stodgy white bread sandwiches and some deep fried (frozen) samosas. Nothing in any way healthy, nothing meat free. The service was however a very high standard, but the staff only had what they had to work with. This flight is always full, so I don't understand why Qantas does not fix this problem."

Nadelen: "limit weight of roller carry on limited to 8 kg, though did not check weight of shoulder bags New Zealand immigration is intense with bio inspection - check that you do not have any nuts or other issues as took a long time to inspect packaged food bought at Sydney airport Prior to check-in, needed evidence of flight leaving New Zealand, not just confirm number - paper with actual ticket number"
