Voordelen: "The seats were comfortable, entertainment during the long flight was very good."
Nadelen: "Do not show options with a connecting flight boarding before the first flight has arrived. My family had to run a long distance from our arriving gate to the departing one in the Munich airport, which is not a small one!! Luckily United was holding the plane for us!"

Nadelen: "Agent changed our flight to Munich and sent as a email with with confirmation on July 10. involuntary. On July 20. I checked Lufthansa app and found that only flight that was shown was flight Toronto-Thunder Bay. After 3 hours of phoning I found that flight from Munich to Toronto wasn’t available for date that was given us in email. Only option was day earlier or later. Left us to take day earlier and we could not changed last flight( Toronto- Thunder Bay). We had to come on Aug 22. and stay in Toronto for 27 hours and than take a flight to Thunder Bay on Aug 23. We lost a day of our vacation, had to stay at hotel. Not good experience at all. We still don’t know whom to complain about that."

Many people on the flight from NY to Brussels were scheduled on this flight and that plane landed in time that this flight would only need to be delayed 10 minutes to allow for us to connect. However, they decided to leave all of us with a long unexpected layover in Brussels, costing many of us a day of what was supposed to be a short vacation for most."

Nadelen: "I did not enjoy the turbulence, which I suppose is unavoidable. More importantly, I felt quite guilty about the greenhouse gas emissions of my flight. I have decided to cut down on my air travel as much as possible as a way of reducing my carbon footprint."

Nadelen: "The boarding area was total chaos. In order to get to the gate I had to literally fight with the 100s of people who were waiting in the same area. No priority was given to family with children or elite members. Even when we complaint at the personnel we were told that “it was busy”. Usually KLM flight from Venice depart from the first floor where gates are bigger and you get straight with the finger to the airplane. Today it hasn’t been the case .... too poor service for a KLM fight"

Voordelen: "On both of my flights to New York City, I was amazed at how friendly and helpful the flight attendants were to the passengers. On my short flight from Basel to Amsterdam, a young French speaking girl was concerned about how to manage getting to her next gate. The flight attendants talked to her and arranged for someone to take her there. On my longer flight from Amsterdam to New York City, there was a customer who was in distress about missing a previous flight and not making it to her connecting flight in New York. One of the flight attendants reassured her until she stopped crying and calmed down. That same flight attendant was always so positive and cheerful in all she did. The rest of the crew was top notch. This was my best experience flying in such a long time. Well done, KLM crews of flights 1984 and 0645 on July 10!"

Nadelen: "Plane noise was very loud and cabin temperature was so warm I was sweating and my wife ended up feeling naseaus towards the end of a 5.5 hour flight. Also, not a big fan of advertising being played over the TV and cabin speaker system."

Première fois que je vois tout un équipage aussi peu professionnel, indélicat et qui ne passe pas en dehors des repas. Le repas a été servi et le débarrassage 5 min après. Pas de nettoyage des toilettes pendant les 12heures de vol. Les hôtesses étaient trop occupées à papoter à l’arrière de l’avion. En tant de covid c’est inadmissible. Je ne recommande pas cette compagnie et ne la prendrais plus jamais !"

Voordelen: "The flight happened and no incidents on the flight."
Nadelen: "Was actually RyanAir. Won't be flying them again. The checkin experience was a nightmare. Only had three very long lines. My line closed when I was almost to the front. When I did talk to someone found out I needed to have my passport validated by another Ryanair person and would have to leave the line. The person checking me in couldn't validate my passport, Really?? At every other airline the checkin person validates your passport."

Voordelen: "Boarding and deplaning was done in a fast and orderly fashion. Crew members were polite and services were done in a coordinated manner. The food quality and quantity was good. The entertainment system and availability of options was very good. Seats were spacious and the blanket provided was very nice."

Voordelen: "Almost nothing!"
Nadelen: "Seats small and uncomfortable. My seat did not recline for 8 1/2-9 hours (middle seat-even after told it was a good seat). My sons entertainment screen did not work for the last 3 1/2 hours. The stewardess’ didn’t even respond to the call light and after myself and sister walked back there, nothing was done. Stewardess’ sat and talked in the back and never walked around. When the finally brought drinks, never even asked why the light was on. They also were extremely unfriendly because our incoming flight from Malaga was late . All 4 pieces of luggage missed the flight and in NYC we had to ask for robes to sleep in and tooth brushes. we felt horrible flying the next day. Three pieces of luggage came 2 days later that we had to go back to airport to get. The fourth was delivered one week later with only 3 wheels!"

Nadelen: "the portion Tel Avivi Madrid was very poor. The plane was very old the business clase very bad. The seats were very old No space for the foots and NO entreatments service available. This in a five hours flights, Just horrible."

Voordelen: "Current movies, fliggt attendances were nice."
Nadelen: "Restroom got dirty, nobody cleaned them in the whole duration of flight."

Nadelen: "Disorganized boarding"

Voordelen: "Plenty of space for a long flight, left and landed on time. Overall very pleased"
Nadelen: "Only complaint is that there was not dairy-free friendly food option for either meal. I figured this would happen so I brought my own food and was glad I did"

Voordelen: "Crew - all professional and helpful. We left on time/arrived early - no mishaps. Movie selection - excellent, made the time go faster for first flight. Very comfortable the first flight. Pleasant experience."
Nadelen: "Food was not so great. Too much fat on the chicken. The salad smelled off/bad and didn't look appertizing. the beverages too smaller cup/quantity given (hot tea)."

Voordelen: "Good on board movies."
Nadelen: "Start boarding with the last row, not the 1st row - so people settling into the 1st rows do not hold up the people trying to reach the higher rows."

Voordelen: "Arrived 10 min early"
Nadelen: "I paid extra for a seat in the exit row and as soon as we took off someone from another row snuck into the exit row without paying and the flight attendants totally ignored him and he sat there the entire flight for free. They don’t give you so much as a glass of water for free and the luggage took 45 minutes to appear after landing. I certainly wouldn’t chose to fly them again if I had an alternative tho they are better than that horror Vueling whose seats were so close together that I was unable to sit with my legs straight because the leg room was so little."

Nadelen: "The flight was not with Lufthansa, that was deception. UA the worst airline as far as I experienced it, delays, poor customer relationships and so on. I have to pay for luggage."

Nadelen: "Es united, no se puede esperar mucho de ellos. El snack para 5 horas son unos pretzels y el entretenimiento lo cobran. Lo único bueno es que aun con un aviso en la pantalla pude ver el final del partido de Champions, por el resto,.... compañía a evitar."

Nadelen: "My legs are short and the seat seemed a little higher than other plans. I couldn't rest my feet flat on the floor for 6 1/2 hours. This was very uncomfortable."

Voordelen: "Beyond one or two friendly crew members, not much."
Nadelen: "We booked our flights round trip on united.com, but when we arrived at the airport for our return flight from Budapest to D.C., we were told we were on standby and might not be given seats (despite paying full price for the fare months ago). Brussels Airlines, the codeshare partner, blamed United. United blamed Brussels airlines. We are the flight, but my wife and I were seated separately. When I noticed several seats empty after the plane had finished boarding and asked the head flight attendant if my wife and I might not together, she refused, saying they weren't going to give us a free upgrade. When we went to drop off our bags for the next leg of the flight, from Brussels to Dulles, the bag check counters we're severely understaffed and we waited almost an hour just to drop off two suitcases. This made us nearly miss our flight and required us to sprint through the airport and beg to cut the security line. After boarding, my entertainment screen stopped working, though they did manage to fix it a couple of hours into the flight. Needless to say, this was less then a stellar experience."

Voordelen: "The flight crew was very attentive and friendly. Probably one of the nicest crews I have encountered on my flights."
Nadelen: "Me and this other person were waiting in the back for the two bathrooms to become available. We waited over 10 minutes."

Nadelen: "Even though I have an account with United, and confirmed that I was a vegetarian both online, and on the flight heading to Europe, my meal wasn't entered. It worked out really well because I was sitting close to the front and they had pasta dishes available, but this is not the first time that United and its partners have "lost" or "mishandled" my vegetarian registration. The flight attendant even remarked that sadly, she hears this 'complaint' constantly. The food was good, but there's no reason that my meal request can't stay in the system."

Voordelen: "So they lost my bag but where super helpful and nice!"

Voordelen: "Flight and experience were great."
Nadelen: "I would expect when I book a Luftansa flight to fly in a Luftansa jet. This flight was carried by United and I did not know that until I arrived at the airport."

Nadelen: "I chose Luthansa because I was traveling with a bike and they are usually good about not overcharging however after booking the flight, United took over the flight and they have very unfriendly bike policies (200 each way). Usually I will not fly United because of these policies, I think I am done flying any Star Alliance companies."

Nadelen: "Snack offering was caramely sugar cookie"

Voordelen: "Nothing"
Nadelen: "This was a mess as the attendants didn't not have my transfer ticket It took them for ever till the last minute when was called by the Microphone"

Voordelen: "I was allowed to get off the aircraft to collect a bag I left behind"

Voordelen: "Attendants were amazing"
Nadelen: "We spent the whole delay on the plane and wasn't notified of a problem until after an hour. A lot of my time was wasted. That's not okay. Keep your customers informed."

Voordelen: "Since we were the last ones to arrive at the gate because of our delayed flight they had to check our carry-on baggage with the luggage we didn't have locks and nomally what we carry in that bag are fragile or valuable things. They should at least have plastic gauzes or fragile stickers to put on the bags. I don't know the reason but the flight attendants left about the last 6 rows of passengers without pretzels or drinks. There was no device to view movies. Leg space too tight."

Nadelen: "Same. No ffood ..poor Service and allso charging. To much for extra weight. $200 for 3 extra pounds. Ridiculous. Also charged for one check in bag..Todo much"

Nadelen: "Viajar en United es desastroso. Los asientos son demasiado pequeños, yo mido1.57 metros y no me podía ni mover."

Voordelen: "The crew were nice though exasperated with cramped new planes and crowded restrooms. Flight was on time"
Nadelen: "After three years of flying all around US, realized United is the worst of the three major legacy carriers. I'm star alliance gold and it's still a painful experience. Crew admitted in latest redesign of planes they've managed to squeeze another six seats in coach. My seat wouldn't go back but even if it did, would feel too guilty for person behind to do it - so little legroom on newer planes. They've also cut down on restrooms so for most of the flight there was a line of 5-6 people waiting in the aisle. American Airlines seems to have older planes but at least decent legroom (and I'm not tall - anybody over 5'10 would have to sit at an angle on new United planes!). Been very impressed by Delta's service lately. United feels more like Spirit"
