Naturally we landed at gate A2 and Delta was boarding at Terminal 2 gate B9. Me with my knee replacement can’t run and my wheelchair was not in sight. Thank goodness I had a carryon with wheels. I was out of breath when I got to Delta and the last passengers were boarding. I started panicking and interrupted the ground steward who asked me to wait with a smile. I waited . So when I told them I was standby they waved me on after showing my passport. I couldn’t find my boarding pass. I was pleasantly surprised to get a seat in first class. I was so thankful. My first time. Good things come to those who wait! Thank you Delta."

Nadelen: "Do not show options with a connecting flight boarding before the first flight has arrived. My family had to run a long distance from our arriving gate to the departing one in the Munich airport, which is not a small one!! Luckily United was holding the plane for us!"

Nadelen: "Agent changed our flight to Munich and sent as a email with with confirmation on July 10. involuntary. On July 20. I checked Lufthansa app and found that only flight that was shown was flight Toronto-Thunder Bay. After 3 hours of phoning I found that flight from Munich to Toronto wasn’t available for date that was given us in email. Only option was day earlier or later. Left us to take day earlier and we could not changed last flight( Toronto- Thunder Bay). We had to come on Aug 22. and stay in Toronto for 27 hours and than take a flight to Thunder Bay on Aug 23. We lost a day of our vacation, had to stay at hotel. Not good experience at all. We still don’t know whom to complain about that."

Many people on the flight from NY to Brussels were scheduled on this flight and that plane landed in time that this flight would only need to be delayed 10 minutes to allow for us to connect. However, they decided to leave all of us with a long unexpected layover in Brussels, costing many of us a day of what was supposed to be a short vacation for most."

Slightly disappointed."

On my short flight from Basel to Amsterdam, a young French speaking girl was concerned about how to manage getting to her next gate. The flight attendants talked to her and arranged for someone to take her there. On my longer flight from Amsterdam to New York City, there was a customer who was in distress about missing a previous flight and not making it to her connecting flight in New York. One of the flight attendants reassured her until she stopped crying and calmed down. That same flight attendant was always so positive and cheerful in all she did. The rest of the crew was top notch. This was my best experience flying in such a long time. Well done, KLM crews of flights 1984 and 0645 on July 10!"

Nadelen: "C’est la première fois que nous prenons Iberia et nous avons été très déçus. Personnel extrêmement désagréable. Première fois que je vois tout un équipage aussi peu professionnel, indélicat et qui ne passe pas en dehors des repas. Le repas a été servi et le débarrassage 5 min après. Pas de nettoyage des toilettes pendant les 12heures de vol. Les hôtesses étaient trop occupées à papoter à l’arrière de l’avion. En tant de covid c’est inadmissible. Je ne recommande pas cette compagnie et ne la prendrais plus jamais !"

Nadelen: "Was actually RyanAir. Won't be flying them again. The checkin experience was a nightmare. Only had three very long lines. My line closed when I was almost to the front. When I did talk to someone found out I needed to have my passport validated by another Ryanair person and would have to leave the line. The person checking me in couldn't validate my passport, Really?? At every other airline the checkin person validates your passport."

The entertainment system and availability of options was very good. Seats were spacious and the blanket provided was very nice."

Nadelen: "Seats small and uncomfortable. My seat did not recline for 8 1/2-9 hours (middle seat-even after told it was a good seat). My sons entertainment screen did not work for the last 3 1/2 hours. The stewardess’ didn’t even respond to the call light and after myself and sister walked back there, nothing was done. Stewardess’ sat and talked in the back and never walked around. When the finally brought drinks, never even asked why the light was on. They also were extremely unfriendly because our incoming flight from Malaga was late . All 4 pieces of luggage missed the flight and in NYC we had to ask for robes to sleep in and tooth brushes. we felt horrible flying the next day. Three pieces of luggage came 2 days later that we had to go back to airport to get. The fourth was delivered one week later with only 3 wheels!"

Nadelen: "the portion Tel Avivi Madrid was very poor. The plane was very old the business clase very bad. The seats were very old No space for the foots and NO entreatments service available. This in a five hours flights, Just horrible."

Voordelen: "Current movies, fliggt attendances were nice."
Nadelen: "Restroom got dirty, nobody cleaned them in the whole duration of flight."

Nadelen: "Disorganized boarding"

Voordelen: "Plenty of space for a long flight, left and landed on time. Overall very pleased"
Nadelen: "Only complaint is that there was not dairy-free friendly food option for either meal. I figured this would happen so I brought my own food and was glad I did"

Voordelen: "Crew - all professional and helpful. We left on time/arrived early - no mishaps. Movie selection - excellent, made the time go faster for first flight. Very comfortable the first flight. Pleasant experience."
Nadelen: "Food was not so great. Too much fat on the chicken. The salad smelled off/bad and didn't look appertizing. the beverages too smaller cup/quantity given (hot tea)."

Voordelen: "Arrived 10 min early"
Nadelen: "I paid extra for a seat in the exit row and as soon as we took off someone from another row snuck into the exit row without paying and the flight attendants totally ignored him and he sat there the entire flight for free. They don’t give you so much as a glass of water for free and the luggage took 45 minutes to appear after landing. I certainly wouldn’t chose to fly them again if I had an alternative tho they are better than that horror Vueling whose seats were so close together that I was unable to sit with my legs straight because the leg room was so little."

Voordelen: "Food and beverage service was great. Wine/beer and hot meals provided on the long flight were really appreciated. Excellent restrooms on the 787."
Nadelen: "Not enough leg room etc. for the long flight."

Nadelen: "Free wifi for business class customers. $6,000 ticket then asked to pay 10/hr for wifi is insulting!"

Voordelen: "Great crew!! Super nice"

Nadelen: "The flight was late arriving, so consequently we had to pay a taxi to hotel, as shuttle had finished for the night. Air Canada staff let people know 10 mins prior to boarding that we needed the app to view movies in-flight. Most people couldn't download quick enough, & airport Wifi was not optimal"

Voordelen: "Crew was great, there was nobody sitting beside me so that was a big bonus. Smooth flight and the wine was pretty good."

Voordelen: "Nice plane looks new"

Nadelen: "Unreliable flight, always late, not staff at the check in terminal"

Voordelen: "Thank goodness there was lots of room on this plane, makes it much nicer"
Nadelen: "Old plane, and business class is just ok. So sad that Air Canada is only flying this route with Rouge... they just are ok. Boarding was a gong show - they blocked off the area with little posts to keep people organized and were boarding a big flight to Tokyo right beside us. Horrible."

Nadelen: "They wouldn’t wait 10 minutes for us to arrive on our incoming flight."

Nadelen: "In 25 years of traveling I think this is the worst food I ever had in a airplane. Lucky that the butter and the bread were eatable"

Nadelen: "Again very disappointed. No food, no flight monitoring and no tv access. Felt very "cheep". Cop o see idea far far better."

Voordelen: "Flight was ok overall. Staff were nice."
Nadelen: "I don't think there was enough crew on board to serve all the passengers. Water was only offered once. I did get to watch free movies from Vancouver to Toronto. However, you had to pay for entertainment from Toronto to Costa Rica"

Nadelen: "Probably not an Air Canada issue but we went to departures and were well through the process when we were told that our bag would have to be checked (which was obvious). The lady acted like it was my fault that the other person had let me through with a cart and a full sized suitcase. A second young lady was a bit more sympathetic and helpful. Thankfully we arrived at the airport well in advance."

Nadelen: "Delay in YUL...5 mins turned into 60...almost missed travel in SJO to final destination"

Nadelen: "Air Canada was the only airline flying to ny that was delayed."

Voordelen: "Once on plane all OK"
Nadelen: "Check in unhelpful to being rude by ignoring people and avoiding getting advice from higher ups. Worst service I Have experienced in 60 years of air flight three times a year ,at least"

Voordelen: "Everything else was great"
Nadelen: "No movies"

Voordelen: "Disable passenger here. They were very helpful and accommodating"

Voordelen: "We were given a $10 meal voucher in Toronto for the 2hr delay, nothing was done for us in windsor after waiting close to 5 hours."
Nadelen: "Flight was delayed from Windsor to Toronto for hours the. Again from Toronto to San José."

Voordelen: "Seats were fairly comfortable. Crew on flight from Toronto to San Jose were friendly. Crew on home flight very aloof."
Nadelen: "Did not know you should pre book food. They ran out. Very frustrating. Said they had breakfast food and snacks. All that was left by the time they got to our seats were chips and nuts. And they didn’t seem to care. Entertainment worked better on way back. Could not get it going on way there, even with crew assistance. Line ups for check in in San Jose were crazy. Over 40 minutes."

Voordelen: "we had a very good seating distance in row 15"
Nadelen: "the cabin service was simply bad: very limited meal offerings, drinks were not cold, flight attendants were pretty arrogant."

Voordelen: "Good service and landed early. Luggage was quick"

Voordelen: "Food was good. Flight staff was pleasant."
Nadelen: "Boarding took forever. There was a child that screamed the entire way. Wish flight staff was trained on calming children, even though I know it was just bad planning on the parents. Also wish there was a hygiene policy. Half the flight was not wearing deodorant, and you could tell."

Voordelen: "Inexpensive flight, good connections, decent food, and professional and friendly flight attendants and service."

Voordelen: "the cew was nice"
Nadelen: "The terminal had no food options at all when we were in a very delayed flight and hungry. We were not given seats ahead of time and therefore were assigned the last row which was very uncomfortable and could not recline. No one was at the desk to help with the seats for a Very long time. The boarding process was not good."

Voordelen: "Niets"
Nadelen: "Oncomfortabele stoelen, Inflight entertainment werkte slecht"

Nadelen: "Flight was delayed and I was rebooked even though I could have make the connection. I had only a carry on so the luggages were not an issue."

Nadelen: "Return flight was delayed over 6 hours. Too many hours spent unnecessarily in airport. The delay in this flight cost me a day without work. We landed in Toronto @ 5:30 am. Out of security by 6 am. My shift at the hospital started at 7 am. I have never had a flight delayed to this extent, especially without an explanation. My nephew was on flight 1894 from Toronto. Everything was fine when they checked the ETD. They arrived at YYZ at 1300 only to finally board 12 hours later. Totally unacceptable."

Voordelen: "Seat were comfortable (however the struggle is when you have someone with long legs behind you...)"
Nadelen: "Entertainment was using the app, they could have had a sign at the gate so those of us that didn't have it could have download it before boarding."

Voordelen: "The smiling and helpful crew members"
Nadelen: "The seats were uncomfortable and the tv didn't work well"

Voordelen: "I was able to be on standby for an earlier flight to Newark."

Nadelen: "Not the most comfortable aircraft"

Nadelen: "This is not an Air Canada flight, is a Rouge flight, meaning there is no service, no screens, not even blankets on board. I didn't know that until after confirming my reservation, and it makes all the difference. For a low cost flight, the service is ok, but it shouldn't be advertised as Air Canada at all."

Voordelen: "I'm done flying with this company. Only reason I did was because I had a $100 gift card from the last time I flew with them and it was delayed 4 hours. Couldn't even use the gift card to pay for my luggage because they didn't have a proper machine to accept the gift card."

Voordelen: "My flight was on time"
Nadelen: "food"

Voordelen: "I thought the crew was awesome. Very friendly, but the bathrooms definitely needed to be taken care of. SO dirty."
Nadelen: "TV wasn't working at all which made for a very long flight! Food selection ran out. I felt like the plane was old and outdated."

Voordelen: "When I finally got to the US Customs agents they were actually quite nice. This has been my experience with US agents in Vancouver and Philadelphia as well. Yesterday they were especially cordial, while at the same time quite professional. Made me proud to be a US citizen."
Nadelen: "Don't know what could be done about it, but the security liine was the longest I've ever seen. I've come home from Vancouver many times before, and most times I fly direct to the USA from YVR, where things are much better. Don't think it's Tornoto's fault.....but, yesterday's experience with the security line makes it unlikely that I will come back home this way again."

Voordelen: "On time. Comfortable plane"
Nadelen: "Extra security and customs checks changing planes in Canada"

Voordelen: "Quick easy, I hate that I have to go through sercurity again... but oh well."
Nadelen: "Refer to last one."

Voordelen: "Quick easy flight"
Nadelen: "Asked flight attendant to fill up sons water bottle as we had to empty it before we went through security and I forgot to refill it. Flight attendant was very rude and made a big deal out of having to fill it. Just felt her reaction was over board and quite uncalled for."

Voordelen: "B777-300ER WAS A VERY COMFORTABLE NEWER AIRPLANE."
Nadelen: "CONNECTING AT THE TORONTO AIRPORT WAS SO LONG AND INCONVINIENT. I NEVER WANT TO FLY THROUGH TORONTO AGAIN"

Voordelen: "The staff rocked it, despite being in a tough position with grumpy passengers. The desk staff before boarding was less helpful. The seats were comfortable. Entertainment was rated low because it was a short flight it really should have been an N/A because I didn't use it. Not sure how to fairly rate that. No food as far as I could tell."
Nadelen: "2 hour delay, then sat for another hour or so after being the last to board for fueling and waiting for ground crew."

Voordelen: "Nothing was done badly, but my flight out was with a different airline and I suppose that spoiled me."

Voordelen: "Plane left on time, smooth flight, arrived on schedule."
Nadelen: "1. Food very substandard. Hot food not very well prepared and rather tasteless, and snack was like a cardboard wrap with some salsa sauce in it. A disgrace to a major airline like Air Canada. Selection of drinks very limited. 2, Staff persisted in speaking mostly French, on an international flight. Some announcements were made only in French. As a Canadian, I can follow French, but let us remember that English is the international language. To use French is not fair to other nationalities, who expect English. 3. Seats far too close together for a long flight. There was more legroom on the Jazz flight from Montreal to Ottawa! 4. Entertainment kept breaking down. Headphones for my wife did not work, and eventually both of our screens went dead. Her's quit right in the middle of a movie. Bad!! 5. Boarding passes had zones on them, but these were totally disregarded in boarding. This resulted on overcrowding, long waits, etc. Hard on older people!"

Nadelen: "Audio jack for entertainment weren't working."

Nadelen: "The flight was 2hr late to take off- due to?? there were no free snacks. many connecting flights were missed and luggage took an hour to receive."

Nadelen: "In order to make more money, Air Canada purposefully sits couples, families etc. who book together separately, in order to try to get them to buy upgraded seats together."

Voordelen: "Almost everything about the flight. Easy check-in. Didn't loose my bag which is always a great thing."
Nadelen: "The new app entertainment for Air Canada wasn't really explained by the crew but so I just doozed off."

Nadelen: "Breakfast flight over 5 hours and they want you to pay for even a snack!"

Voordelen: "Everything was as expected which was wonderful. No stress makes flying more enjoyable for me. I appreciate the hard work that goes into making the flight safe and comfortable. Thank you."
