Voordelen: "Extremely late-no specific reason-AC lounge closed at 9 so we were asked to leave-boarding area was so packed no where to sit so sat on “rails”. After 3 hrs delay u expect something like some peanuts to compensate-but no-they are as bad as any other NA airline if not worse-awful service, all they wanted cared after giving some soda or water is to Collect the garbage-plane was not cleaned properly. Dirty paper and cups in pockets. Wish i did not have to fly AC"
Nadelen: "Everything"

Nadelen: "Free wifi for business class customers. $6,000 ticket then asked to pay 10/hr for wifi is insulting!"

Voordelen: "The crew was ok, very uncomfortable seat, I had an isle seat and everyone bumped into my shoulder. I never had to pay for checked baggage in a transatlantic flight, it’s not my first time flying. I was also asked to check my carry on, to what I declined for personal reasons."

Nadelen: "Pas de repas d'inclus"

Nadelen: "Retard pour embarquement, aéroport pas facile très très longue distance à faire plus contrôle supplémentaire failli pas le faire malgré une heure trente d’escale prévu. Transport par autobus pour l’avion... ouf pas reposant et vol super plein pas d’espace pour bagages cabine"

Nadelen: "Départ à temps Avoir écran pour info divertissement à bord"

Nadelen: "L’avion a décollé avec une heure de retard dû à l’arrivée tardive de l’appareil. Changement de gate déplaisant."

Nadelen: "Ils ont perdu ma valise. Malgré la qualité du vol le service c’est pas la j’avais des choses très importantes à l’intérieur... merci air Canada..."

Voordelen: "Gentillesse de l’agentde Bord Carlos"

Voordelen: "L’embarquement s’est bien déroulé, le vol était à l’heure."
Nadelen: "L’équipage avait des sourires forcés et était plutôt bête avec les gens, ça paraissait qu’elles n’avaient pas le goût de travailler. Aussi aucun repas ou au moins snack servis sur un vol de presque 5h, c’est assez cheap, on a eu droit une fois des rafraîchissements, sinon de l’eau seulement. Aux prix qu’on paie nos billets, on devrait avoir un meilleur service et un sourire. Ça fait dur comparé à d’autres compagnies aériennes."

Nadelen: "La distance entre les douanes est impitoyable! Ne perdez pas une SECONDE car vous risquez de manquer votre vol!! J’avaIs une correspondance et mon premier vol a été retardé. Un peu plus et je manquais la correspondance!!!"

Nadelen: "One of the washrooms was a disgrace! There was vomit or diarrhea or both on the floor and on the top to the toilet seat. No one bothered to clean it up. Also, my wife identified herself to Lufthansa that she has celiac's disease, yet when the food cart came by, she was informed that all she could purchase that was gluten free was nuts. We found out later that there was a fruit and cheese plate available. Also, it seems that there were few items available from the on board menu. Why bother even having a menu if many of the items were not available? Air Canada should be ashamed!"

Nadelen: "Pas assez de place pour les bagages"

Voordelen: "The extra $50 seats were roomy."
Nadelen: "Flight was delayed and no one knew why!... Plane had been sitting ready at the airport for hours. Novice flight attendants, they each picked on different things others missed just before them. No consistency, seats left reclined during takeoff and landing for example. One way there was drink service once even though it was a smooth flight and the return had drink service twice even though it was bumpier! Entertainment does NOT work on androids, it is NOT the AirCanada app they tell you to download prior to the flight, it's an AirCanadaRouge.pk file that needs to be downloaded in flight! Which means we're stuck paying for the iPad and of course only with cc because there's no wifi for debit cards.... AC needs to stop this insanely mediocre and yet expensive monopoly."

Voordelen: "J’ai apprécié la gentillesse des agentes de bord. Le vol s’est très bien passé."
Nadelen: "Les points moins agréables sont la connexion à votre application. Il m’a pris 30 minutes avant d’avoir accès au menu du lecteur électronique. Puis, le service des agentes leur du premier vol était ordinaire. J’ai demandé à deux reprises un verre d’eau. La première fois, j’étais un fantôme. Elle n’a que servit la personne à côté de moi. La deuxième fois, elle avait oublié."

Nadelen: "Pas de cuillère pour manger ma soupe et la bière était chaude"

Nadelen: "Tres long delais de vol et attente dans l'avion apres l'atterissage"

Voordelen: "Cleanliness and accessibility to my nearest airport at the time I need it."

Voordelen: "The crew on the flights was great over all but everyone else that we encountered seemed confused, rude, and/or uninterested in helping anyone."
Nadelen: "Multiple times on the trip we were told one thing only to be told the complete opposite by someone else a short time later. No two teams seemed to have any clue what the other was doing and there seemed to be no overarching strategy or systems in place company wide. We have flown with a baby many times on my airlines and this time was by far the worst- they do not seem like a family friendly airline at all."

Voordelen: "Food was good. Flight staff was pleasant."
Nadelen: "Boarding took forever. There was a child that screamed the entire way. Wish flight staff was trained on calming children, even though I know it was just bad planning on the parents. Also wish there was a hygiene policy. Half the flight was not wearing deodorant, and you could tell."

Voordelen: "Bel avion, beau service, aucun repas ni de collation à bord a moins de payer les frais"

Nadelen: "When there is a delay, even when weather related, show some empathy and feed stranded passengers!"

Voordelen: "Le fait de pouvoir réserver mes places la veille. Très bon équipage et personnel de bord."
Nadelen: "Le fait que les gens en arrière de nos bancs n'arretaient pas de pousser dans nos sièges."

Nadelen: "Trop serré pour les jambes Nous sommes restés pris sur le tarmac en raison de la pluie lors de notre arrivée."

Nadelen: "No food , not even snack for 5 hours flight?!!,"

Voordelen: "I appreciated that the plane left as scheduled, had plenty of legroom, and was attended by professional and gracious personnel."
Nadelen: "THe previous flight that we took, on June 20th, from Las Vegas to Toronto, was cancelled at the last minute. As we had a tightly-scheduled flight to Amsterdam, we missed that connection. There was no notification given prior to the cancellation, just suddenly came up on the monitors at McCarren Airport. No explanation was offered. THe flight that we were transferred to arrived in Toronto too late to get us onto our Amsterdam flight, and so Air Canada personnel gave us vouchers for food and tried to book us a hotel room. We were ferried to 3 hotels, and turned away at all of them, an dwound up sleeping on the flor of the kid's area at TOranto Airport. we finally got to Amsterdam a day late.and had our trip upgraded to business class for our trouble. I have no quarrel with the treatment that we received from Air Canada personel. THey were very patient and gracious, in spite of a number of irate passengers in the same situation that we were in. However, the failure to have accomodations for stranded travelers was exemplary of poor planning on the part of administration, not personnel. I am really torn as to whether or not to use Air Canada again. WHen it is good, it is very good, but when iit is bad, it is the worst that I've ever experienced."

Voordelen: "Seats are quite comfortable. Flight was on time."
Nadelen: "Suitcase costs money. Food was ok. No headphones for entertainment. I felt it was like a low cost flght but we paid a regular price."

Voordelen: "Nothing"
Nadelen: "Flight was delayed for several hours, while the crew assured us it was on the way. When it landed they still said it was being prepped. Then at 10pm or so, they said it was cancelled. Then we waited another hour and a half to speak to representatives and get our hotels. Then another hour to the hotel to go to sleep. Because I had to be back at the airport in 7 hours to catch the next flight. It would have taken me 2 hours to drive to Seattle from Vancouver."

Nadelen: "I did not fly to Montreal and I did not catch flight to Barcelona I am fling again tonight Toronto - Barcelona direct"

Nadelen: "L'odeur des toilettes, pas longtemps mais assez."

Nadelen: "Food was purchase only."

Voordelen: "Service, entertainment and comfort were the best features about flying first class when we had actually bought a regular fare ticket!"

Voordelen: "I can't say there is much in the way of customer service provided during this entire flight."
Nadelen: "They wouldn't let us upgrade even though there is tons of empty seats in first class, and the flight crew wouldn't even make eye contact or answer call lights the entire flight! Was one of my worst experiences with Air Canada."

Voordelen: "The crew was friendly, quick, and helpful. The seats were comfortable, we had space for our carry on items, and there was a good selection of entertainment and food/snack options. Takeoff and landing were also very smooth - the pilot did a fantastic job!"
Nadelen: "On an international flight (or any flight over 3 or 4 hours) I believe it would be courteous to provide a meal as part of the ticket price. We purchased food on board as it was a five hour flight from Mexico City to Toronto. The food was good with a variety of options, but it seems that Air Canada should update its policy to offer complimentary food service on longer flights."

Voordelen: "Friendly staff every step of the way. Were always there and were always mindfu of your space."
Nadelen: "The woman that I was dealing with before the trip even began was incredibly rude and condescending! Talking down to me the entire time and didn't experience any patience whatsoever. She seeed to not know what she was doing whatsoever and was not helpful in the slightest. This is the woman in the desk leaving Edmonton heading to Calgary"
