Liked the condition, comfort and cleanliness of the plane. Flight crew was very efficient and attentive. Food was very good, but they could have a slightly larger meal service. There was not enough food to eat.

Was not given boarding passes at Brussels Lufthansa check in. Told to get them at the gate in Munich.

J'ai manqué ma connection en dépit des assurances de l'équipage. 6 heures d'attente.

Le fait de refuser de servir un deuxième verre de vin sous prétexte d’effectifs réduits à cause de la pandémie, Servir de l’eau ou du vin ce ´n’est pas plus difficile ! Aucun choix de repas et une bouillie trop cuite qu’ils osent appeler pasta. Personnel de bord particulièrement expéditif et antipathique. Le pire long courrier de ma vie.

Nadelen: "The seats we were in were where it went from 4 in a row to 3, so the telvisions were not directly in front of us, and i had to keep my head turned at an angle for ten hours. It sounds silly, but my neck hurt after the flight a little. Might be a pop out tv you can attach that is moveable to fix this"

Nadelen: "They checked my bag at the gate - despite me traveling all over the world NEVER having to check it - and would not take no for an answer, despite me having a 25 minute connection due to their one hour delay. Once boarded there was an incredible amount of empty overhead bins! Bag didn't make it"

In the end, they did relent, but I was surprised at this. There was a small but decent variety of snacks for this 4+ hour flight."

They charged me twice for the same exact tickets and then would not refund me the entire fare. The deducted $300 to process back the credit. Personnel, at both the airport and in flight, were curt, uncommodating and lacked customer service. On my return flight from Warsaw there was a large, disruptive group with a number of unruly children & airline staff did nothing to address the children running across seats, screaming and wreaking havoc for over 8 hours. Passengers could not sleep & the noise was unbearable."

So, I had in no time to ask at the check point tofi s my name in the list and give me another tickets. It was very stressful."

Our flights were on time in both directions. I loved having the American Airlines app to get notifications to check in and alert me of gate changes.

Due to previous flight not getting to Dallas until two hours after it should have, I missed my connecting flight. Then I was on standby for last flight out for the night. Originally I was 6th on standby list, but by time it came to board I was 14th on list somehow. When boarding I was last to be able to board and was walking towards the plane when someone with ticket showed up very late causing me to get booted from flight. I ended up having to stay the night in Dallas and hope to get on the next days flights as a standby passenger. Worst travel situation in quite a long time.

I was upgraded to plus and had lovely roomy seats. My overhead light was broken and they turned the cabin lights off so I couldn't read my book.

Nadelen: "The flight was delayed due to a missing officer. Because of this, I missed my flight from Chicago to Narita Japan. I had to cancel the hotel in Japan and pay $120 cancellation fee. The customer service changed my flight to go to Dallas/Fort Worth TX then fly to Narita Japan next day. They gave me vouchers for hotel stay and meal ($12) which are absolutely minimal compensation after all this headaches. They were unable to upgrade my seat since they’re full. Now the flight to Narita is 2 hour delay and they have changed the gate at least twice. I’m worried if I can get on the next connecting flight to Sapporo due to this delayed schedule. I feel like this whole trip is ruined because the delayed flight from Philadelphia to Chicago. This has been my worst and the most ridiculous flight experience ever. I don’t think I ever want to fly with American Airlines in the future."

Nadelen: "I take this flight quite a lot. These comments are for this flight (MIA/MSP) - but not necessarily only for this exact flight that I took on 10/1. To be clear - the crew says "this is not AA", it is Republic Airlines". Well, they must think of themselves very poorly. Their food in first class is always changing - oh, I meant only the names for the same exact meal change. "Grilled Chicken with Couscous", "Grilled Chicken with Risotto", etc.. - all cold meals as they do not have an oven/microwave? on the plane. They are charging first class international prices for economy domestic service. For this amount of money, they should have better meals and a more modern airplane. The first class is always freezing (even in summer) while the rear cabin where the crew stays when not working, is hot. So if they make the first class happy with the correct temperature, they cook in the back. I have also observed more people than usual coughing and getting colds - both ways - than any of the other flights I take regularly (over 115,000 miles on AA this year). I would suggest that AA make it clear that Republic must offer better service to their customers - especially for the large airfares they are receiving."

Nadelen: "Gate at Philadelphia was tiny with not enough space for everyone on the plane, it was a 6 hour flight and no snacks beyond pretzels were available-not even for purchase. I'd just come off an 8 hour international flight where I was provided lunch, ice cream, a pot pie snack and frequent beverage service. Somehow as soon as you are flying domestic on a slightly shorter flight American Airlines thinks its okay to treat customers like garbage-nothing but some sad pretzels and 2 rounds of drink service was provided for a 6 hour flight. The seats were super uncomfortable with no head rest, no personal entertainment devices were provided, and there was no general entertainment for the whole plane-seriously I've never been so bored. I would have fallen asleep from boredom but the seat was too uncomfortable so I couldn't even do that. The plane landed in Seattle but sat without unloading passengers for 20 minutes because the gate crew wasn't ready. We didn't get our checked baggage for over an hour after landing. When asked, customer service reps said that the S gate was far from baggage claim-seriously I'm not sure how that is a reasonable excuse. Other airlines arrive into S gates and have timely baggage claim service. American Airlines has no standard for timely baggage claim service like other airlines (Alaska) so there were no repercussions for such late baggage service. We left the airport with our luggage over 90 minutes after the plane landed. The entire experience is just another example of American Airlines of why the terrorists won't even fly American Airlines. I was seriously disappointed to find out that the British Airways flights we booked were operated by American instead of BA crews. I seriously will never select this option (or fly American) again if I can help it."

Nadelen: "Delayed by 2:38 hours at Chicago due to aircaft repair. Total layover 8:38 hours."

Nadelen: "This flight was delayed by almost 5 hours. While I understand there are some delays sometimes, this was the ONLY flight to Greensboro out of DCA, and the times kept changing throughout the day, even though the gate agents knew that the issue was that the crew was delayed. There should be backup crew available and when there are delays, the passengers should be kept informed. There should be other flight options available when this happens. I never received an apology from anyone I encountered throughout the process, and some personnel were rude even though I was polite."
Voordelen: "Wasn't full, plenty of room. Free booze offered!"
Nadelen: "Delayed, crew didn't help couple to calm their children and restore morale"

Nadelen: "notre vol a été retarde retarde!!au lieu de décoller comme prévu à 8h30 notre vol a été finalement annulé vers 23h30. On m'a relooké sur un vol pour LONDRES le lendemain à 19.h. Nous sommes restés plus de 24 h dans cet aéroport sans que nous soit proposé un hôtel. on nous a donné une couverture et un oreillé!!d'autre ont pu etre rebooké sur d'autre vols sur NY ou chicago le matin meme. Nous avons perdu une journée de travail mon époux et moi-meme. Lui a du annuler une formation impliquant 10 personnes qui venait de toute la France."
Voordelen: "Everything"
Voordelen: "One cabin crew went the extra mile for me...rescued a partial dental plate which I had inadvertently tossed in the trash."
Voordelen: "Good flight. Arrived early. Great crew. A321 is a nice aircraft. Good legroom."
Nadelen: "There was no one at the ticket kiosk located by TSA and no sign that said they would be back or to go to another booth. After waiting 10 minutes I️ went upstairs and found a chaotic mass of people checking in at the actual open kiosk. The check in process was not clearly defined and even after spending 30 minutes checking a bag I️ still had to care my checked bag down to another TSA check line. In their boarding area there were minimal phone chargers. The plane was small and no leg room and a rigid uncomfortable seat. Also the flight was at night and they kept the cabin lights on. That was super frustrating to an exhausted traveler who was trying to sleep."
Voordelen: "Had a row to myself."
Nadelen: "Tried to standby for earlier flight or pay a change fee or buy another ticket, but they wouldn't let me even though there were empty seats on the plane according to the gate representative. When I called customer service there was a 46 minute wait. When they called me back it was too late, and they said only gold or higher members could stand by. When I got on my later fight, the wifi and entertainment didn't work."

Nadelen: "Not enough space. Tv was glitchy. Seat uncomfortable."
Voordelen: "L’embarquement s’est fait très rapidement"
Nadelen: "Retard du vol. Deux en deux (retard le 4 octobre pour l’Islande et le 19 octobre, retard pour Montréal). Des agents de bord qui ne parle pas un mot de français pour un vol en direction de Montréal. C’est inacceptable et c’est régulier sur air Canada. Je suis vraiment déçue de cette compagnie et je vais essayer d’éviter le plus possible."
Voordelen: "Amazing crew and Ground staff. Check in and bag check in was really smooth and fast."
Nadelen: "Maybe some more options of snacks. In flight entertainment was not working so can’t say much about it."

Nadelen: "Au vol aller : problème à l’enregistrement ( soit disant pas d’ave) + bagage soute facturé 50 euros (pour apprendre finalement au retour que je n’aurais Pas du payer) Au vol retour : pas d’enregistrement possible cause de surbooking. On me dit qu’il n’est pas sure que je puisse prendre mon vol pourtantl réservé et payé , on fini par m’imprimer Une carte d’ebarquement Sans siège attribue alors que ma valise est partie en soute. On m’invite à passer en zone d’embarquement Au risque d’y Passer la nuit en attendant le vol suivant le lendemain matin. Départ dans le stress et l’incertitude. La faute à qui ? Kayak ? Air Canada ? Brussels Airlines ? Qui surbooke ses vols pour faire toujours plus d’argent. Au prix du billet c’est une Honte !"

Voordelen: "D’être arrivée à bon port en toute sécurité Ponctualité du vol Les agents de bord qui s’expriment en français. Même si avec difficulté pour certains, bel effort de communiquer dans la langue du passager."
Nadelen: "Il est très difficile d’entendre le pilote au micro. Par chance il n’y avait pas de message d’urgence à transmettre car nous peinions à l’entendre. Aucun service de la part de l’équipage lorsque nous pesons sur la demande d’assistance située sur notre siège. Ils ne répondent pas à l’appel autre que pour fermer, à distance, la demande de soutien. Extrêmement déplorable et dangereux si un passager a besoin d’aide ou à un malaise. Très très très décevant. Première fois où cela arrive sur un vol. La « grande variété » de divertissements sur l’application air Canada rouge.......très très difficile d’obtenir une connexion (un des passagers avec moi n’a jamais pu l’obtenir ) et finalement .....pour une « variété » et « qualité «  très discutable. Manque d’espace flagrant pour les jambes. Confort laisse à désirer."

Nadelen: "The main meal was pretty dreadful. Grilled chicken with what I think was mashed potato, but it was difficult to be sure. Watery and tasteless. Accompanied bizarrely by a tomato sauce (which did taste of something). Hard to identify the ethnicity."

Nadelen: "L’équipage avait des sourires forcés et était plutôt bête avec les gens, ça paraissait qu’elles n’avaient pas le goût de travailler. Aussi aucun repas ou au moins snack servis sur un vol de presque 5h, c’est assez cheap, on a eu droit une fois des rafraîchissements, sinon de l’eau seulement. Aux prix qu’on paie nos billets, on devrait avoir un meilleur service et un sourire. Ça fait dur comparé à d’autres compagnies aériennes."
Nadelen: "La distance entre les douanes est impitoyable! Ne perdez pas une SECONDE car vous risquez de manquer votre vol!! J’avaIs une correspondance et mon premier vol a été retardé. Un peu plus et je manquais la correspondance!!!"

Nadelen: "I fly 5+ times a year and I always have to take Air Canada. It isn't by choice. There is ALWAYS a delay or something is broken or the inbound plan had an issue etc. It could be a lot worse but it could be a hell of a lot better."

Nadelen: "Would have preferred Westjet but they do not offer a flight from NL to PEI."

Nadelen: "Seriously? No free snacks? It's ridiculous that you want us to purchase snacks. Something small should be complimentary. Staff was in ok moods but a little edgy. The air was too cold."
Voordelen: "Boarding was very well-organised ands clearly explained."
Nadelen: "USB socket broken and non-functioning. Plastic fork snapped and shed tines. A truly ghastly movie selection."
Voordelen: "Nothing other than the staff is nice."
