Nadelen: "Stuck in Istanbul airport for three days because of snow. The way the airline handled it was APPALLING. Second night stood in line for a hotel for over four hours only to find out at 3am that there weren't any more. And none of that captures the insanity of being sent to a transfer desk with no way out except buying a Turkish visa and going through immigration. Inexcusable. I have traveled to over 40 countries in the past 30+ years and this was beyond the pale, absolutely a nightmare, and almost all of it (excepting the actual snow delay) in the airline's control. NEVER FLY THIS AIRLINE THROUGH ISTANBUL."

Nadelen: "First let me tell you that when I booked a flight to Istanbul from Brussels, I booked, so I thought, the airport called Istanbul Ataturk with the initials of IST. What I got was SAW after I paid for a booking that said IST. Sabina Gokcen is one hour away further on the Asian side of Turkey. I did not want this airport! There was nothing I could do about this but bite the bullet & accept what I got since I was not allowed to have any corrections made after paying for this ticket. I am highly disappointed with Kayak. The first time you have disappointed me greatly!"

Nadelen: "Hot in the plane during and after boarding - no cool air. I have come to expect more from Turkish Airlines, and I hope they make sure they improve this aspect."

Nadelen: "I was really disappointed with Turkish airlines this time. When we first boarded, I informed the flight attendant that I had hurt my back just 20 min ago and if it was possible to change seats (since it was hard for me to move with 2 people sitting next to me) after boarding was complete. She was nice enough by offering me ice, and said that once I hear the announcement ''boarding complete'' I can get up and look for a more comfortable seat. When I did that she asked me to go back to my seat immediately without letting me speak, and not once during the 13hr 30 min flight did she come to check if I needed anything. Food was served twice, a 13hr 30 min flight and food was served twice. It was almost impossible to call flight attendants if you needed water, coffee or was starving..they were always in a hurry and a little rude. Definitely going with Emirates next time, the service there doesn't even compare!"

Voordelen: "I loved that they give out the little packs of socks, slippers, ear buds, eye cover, and toothbrush with toothpaste. Also, the movie and TV show selection is excellent! It definitely kept me entertained for the entire 10 hour flight!"
Nadelen: "By the time the food and beverage cart got to my section of the plane, they were out of several items. It was a little disappointing. But the options that remained were still sufficient."

Nadelen: "One of the seats we were in had a fuzzy connection for the audio of the entertainment system. There was a 2+ hr delay in an area with no food or restrooms, and the airline did not give any details or statuses, just kept delaying 30 minutes at a time."

Voordelen: "Flowers in the bathroom! WOW! Hot rolls with meals! Wide variety of choices in online movies. Somehow my name was dropped from the Vegetarian Meal list. (It was there DEL to Istanbul, but not Istanbul to MIA). So, the chief made a grilled veggie plate for me that was excellent. Crew was very polite and handled the situation in a friendly & professional manner."
Nadelen: "I reserved an aisle seat. Due to lower back & hip problems I need to get up and stretch. Turkish Airlines changed my seat reservation to a middle seat. The woman next to me was rather large, took up a lot of real estate (took up her seat and overflowed onto mine) and was unfriendly. It was impossible for me to get up, or to stretch. I was unable to return to work today due to sciatica problems related to flight seating. (I checked with the flight drew. The plane was full. There were no aisle seats available even if I could afford to upgrade to another class.)"

Nadelen: "canceling our flights and lying to us on the phone after we pay extra for daytime flights"

Voordelen: "The crew was proffessonal. On flight to Cape Town from Istanbul the chef on board made was really nice. I ordered a chlid meal only to find out that it was not on the list. My son wasnt very happy with it though. Althought, the chef on board insured me that she will have a look into it...Oh well ! not a big deal ."
Nadelen: "Fight back to Incheon, Seoul was 3 seated. Really uncomfortable, just hoped the passenger I sat next to didn`t get annoyed with my son having to go to the bathroom quite a lot! The only problem was the long layover. The only reason why I opted for the long stopover of 20 hrs because I was told that we will receive hotel accommodation on our arrival, however that did not materialize...very disappointing. Instead we were given free meal tickets. I was totally disgust !!!"

Voordelen: "I liked that nothing went wrong. I like that I got wine."

Nadelen: "Both my bags came back damaged--- one had the handle ripped off and the other the TSA approved look was jammed."

Nadelen: "My flight was 3 days late to Chicago from schedule date which made me miss my school food was terrible Crew do not know how to speak English"

Nadelen: "I didnt like not having any clothes or possesions for my entire first week in Italy."

Nadelen: "The fact that they just noticed a part missing 30 min after the time we were supposed to be flying. Evacuated us from the airplane and let us wait hours before caring even to tell us what's happening. I told them from the beginning that they must let me know what is going on cause I keep shabbat and its very early 16:09 in Bonn.after 4 hours of nightmare we figured no solution will be found and took a train back home.and let's not forget that they didn't want to give us back the suitcase for "security" reasons until they will decide to cancel the flight and it was too late so we shade to leave the airport without it.hope I will find it today.shittiest vacation to be ever.lost 2 full days of it and delayed my wedding.I will consult a lawyer regards to lawsuit. So absurd to write on the website best airline when they can't even check their plan before flight."

Voordelen: "The flight was delayed from Kl to Istanbul, making me miss my connecting flight to Madrid. Ground staff not helpful at all to those who had connecting flights. We were left to fend for ourselves. We had to find the correct counter to deal with new flights, get to another counter in another floor to get meal vouchers n boarding passes. (This required going through security checks again to get through to the recounted) I found the main airport info counter personnel way more helpful at giving directions m guidance than the Turkish airline staff. Plus. There was a fly in the flight from 'll to Istanbul n Istanbul to Madrid. Disappointing, to say the least."

Voordelen: "I was happy to eat breakfast so that I could go to sleep after spending the night in the airport unnecessarily."
Nadelen: "We missed our flight to Berlin although we had waited at our gate we were told to go to. We immediately realized that something was wrong and went to get help. NO ONE wanted to help us. Every single Turkish Airline customer service desk, information desk, anywhere were rude, not willing to help as soon as they saw we were from America and gave us the complete run around. We spent hours trying to get some help before finally hearing that it was going to cost us $700 in penalties per person to get us on a new flight the next day. I was coming here for a wedding that I was actually IN and was going to miss this because they wanted our money. Plain and simple. The Supervisor actually told us to "call our embassy and see if they will send you money." Eventually we were able to get a hold of a family member that had a card to book us a new flight (costing us another huge amount of money on top of what we have already spent). And we had to spend the night in the airport. We finally got to Berlin the following day and now we are without luggage and no one seems to have it. We have nothing. We are now low on money, have no clothes nor necessities, and no one to help us. I have never been treated so poorly and felt so disgusted."

Nadelen: "There was a problem with their website that was out of our control, that didn’t allow us to print boarding passes and we were charged at the airport even though we had proof we tried and were not able through no fault of our own"

Nadelen: "Would be good if there was complementary tea/coffee or water. People might then buy a snack to go with it."

Voordelen: "Late over two hours due to late arrival of the plane and even so they board us for nothing cauosng us to wait withot bathroom sitta etc."

Nadelen: "The staff took ages boarding us because they were obsessed with trying to scalp people for exceeding baggage limits. Nothing free aboard, no entertainment, the seats were uncomfortable too."

Nadelen: "Flight delayed by more than 2 hours, additional 40 minutes in the plain before departure. At least 30 minutes until doors opened. Overall huge delay that totally killed my business day."

Nadelen: "The boarding process was terrible, took a long time - few and not enough boarding and suitcases counters, which made people wait for a long time and even let others to pass them in line because their flight was earlier. due to this our flight was late by 45 minutes. the food was too expensive."

Nadelen: "No meal included, no entertainment provided"

Nadelen: "FUYEZ WIZZAIR.... quels escrocs!! on a du payer près de 150€ en plus à 3 pour nos cartes d'embarquement car nous n'avions pas pu le faire en ligne (leur site ne fonctionnait pas!) et le gars nous explique "c'est normal, c'est ça les compagnies lowcost" on ne nous y prendra pas deux fois!"

Nadelen: "Flight was delayed by 45 mins, and on board there was no water in the bathroom basins. This was known by staff, but they didn’t warn me as I went in, so I didn’t find out until I had already put soap in my hands"

Voordelen: "Nothing!"
Nadelen: "My husband was seated in row 2 and I was seated in row 29, even though there were many spare seats in blocks of two and three that we could have been sat in; then I was forced to put my carryon luggage in the hold, meaning I had to wait ages at the baggage reclaim on arrival, and was late for my air BnB check in. When I booked my flight I deliberately chose not to check any luggage, spent time planning what to take so that it would fit in a carryon bag, and measured out my liquids into small bottles so that they passed the liquids restrictions: all effort and time spent in vain due to Wizz Air. I was furious!"

Voordelen: "Space. Priority Boarding"
Nadelen: "Strong bad smell. One hour late for departure."

Nadelen: "Man at the checkin did not have a clue that WIZZAIR flight was delayed at 05/04/2018. I missed meeting with my family. Waited for a long time at boarding gate."

Nadelen: "Black group seemed to be singled out for more than one bag hand luggage but others were not. They were the only black group on the plane. Others let through with more bags 1ith no question."

Voordelen: "Nothing"
Nadelen: "Everything. Worst service I have ever seen on a flight."

Nadelen: ""Wizard of Oz Airlines" I'm surprised the pilots didn't ask for another hidden fee! Please book a full fair on a major carrier instead of hidden fee fiasco at the airport. headaches before a flight. Keep in mind no wizz staff to talk to before flight or in Budapest. Private contractors from airport do all the check in process and departures."

Voordelen: "Nice crew"
Nadelen: "My bag was 6cm too big, so they charged me at the airport. After checking their website, the airport overcharged me, and the gestapo who was checking had less customer service manners than my old French teacher, she was a...!"

Voordelen: "Nothing at all"
Nadelen: "The fact that they have small carry on allowance (free) or with a 7cm difference in width a "large carry on" allowance . To be safe I purchase the extra allowance for large carry on which I paid £19 for on my outward journey. When clearing the check-in gates on my outward journey in London the check Inn clerk informed me that I did not have to pay the large carry on allowance. According to her in my bag but it's been classified as small. On my return journey I decided not to purchase the carry on allowance and I was told that I should have purchase it online instead I had to buy it at the airport at a premium. I won't fly with Wizz Air again."

Nadelen: "Late"

Voordelen: "We landed in one piece"
Nadelen: "I didn't receive my online check in details so I couldn't check in. I was abroad so chasing up details I should have been provided with / were never told that I should have, were not on the top of my to do list. I only found out that I had to check in online and that I hadn't been provided with these details when I arrived at the airport. I spent 30 minutes on hold before the problem was rectified and I was given my online check in details but it was now top late to check in online (by 5 minutes ). The flight was delayed due to a number of things - a late arrival, people being let onto the plane slowly, people not sitting down and allowing the plane to taxi and leave. This had a knock on effect of making the plane land late and for me to miss my connection (train) so basically through last minute.com not providing me with the correct details regarding the flight and the flight then being delayed it tripled my whole journey back home."

Voordelen: "Friendly staff members"
Nadelen: "They didn't have blanket and it was very cold.."

Nadelen: "All was good"

Nadelen: "Coûts cachés. Avion sale et vétuste."

Voordelen: "Seats were perfectly adequate, about what you expect on a budget flight. Flight attendants were very pleasant."
Nadelen: "Boarding involved a long wait standing on the tarmac in the sun."

Voordelen: "I like the bubbly upbeat attitude of the flight attendants interacting excellently in English and other languages and also how they dealt with an angry passenger."

Voordelen: "Staff were friendly, when they weren't trying you charge you for everything"
Nadelen: "I've flown on dozens of airlines, and Wizz Air has to be one of the absolute worst in terms of arbitrary and punitive charges. I managed to avoid them, but you never know when they'll give you a €30 fee because your shoelaces are too long."

Nadelen: "Tried to check in online was unavailable the system upon arrival they charged us an extra €105 it's theft"

Nadelen: "Boarding and getting off the plane via bus"

Voordelen: "Good comfi flight with great crew and service"
Nadelen: "The bus at the landing without a/c and it was hot as hell"

Nadelen: "we didn't get food at all. i purchased a cabin baggage for 40 dollar, and when i went to the check in i paid another 110 euro for checked in baggage although i had only one baggage!!!"

Voordelen: "Crew was great. Tight on leg room but fine for the price."
Nadelen: "Rough and scary approach into landing. Pilot had to abort and come around again. I have only had this happen one other time in 30 years of flying."

Nadelen: "I had a standard carry on bag which in Wizz air world turned out to be a large bag. Not only did I have to pay and additional £40 at the airport for it, I had to take it on board with me too. This bag has been on many other low fares airlines without a problem. The Wizz air carry on limit is unrealistically small and is thus merely a money making racket."

Nadelen: "I ordered a ticket and got a confirmation email. Unfortunately I could not check in online. I arrived at the airport and found out that I did not have a ticket. This story cost me a lot of money and a lot of time"

Voordelen: "For the first time I am saying thanks to Wizzair for being late in departure time, otherwise I would not manage my flight back to Warsaw."

Voordelen: "I liked that everything ran smoothly for the most part. I'd definitely fly with them again."
Nadelen: "I didn't realize I had to check-in 3 hours prior to my flight or else I'd have to pay almost 50$ extra for a boarding pass!!! One of the women at the counter was extremely rude about it (while the gentleman was very nice and helpful). There was no entertainment on the plane, but I didn't expect any, but I didn't realize how short the leg room would be... my knees literally were shoved into the seat in front of me the entire fight."

Nadelen: "A small delay of half an hour, but during the winter ia probably normal."

Nadelen: "The only downside you get when traveling with a low cost airline is that you cannot control the quality of your fellow passengers. The ones next to me were smelly both due to ling time, no see with soap&water and also some wine was involved in their breath, I think. But this is the way you get cheap air transport costs, so it is fine."

Voordelen: "Retard à cause d'un passager malade, mais équipage professionnel et très aimable."

Voordelen: "Got to where I needed to go. Ground crew and flight crew were friendly and professional."

Nadelen: "Only after I read the fine line on my e-mail did I find out I had to print a boarding pass. The crew was not friendly or understanding. Woke me up from my sleep. Overall terrible flight."

Nadelen: "Seats are old and the synthetic leather worn out. Need refurbishing."

Nadelen: "We were charged an extra 55 euros at boarding. 40 because our wheelie bags did not fit their very small bag measure cage. Our bags are normal carry on and fit the other airlines and we travel often. Our bags were put in the hold. We were then charged another 15 euros as a penalty for small bags that we fit under the seat in front., even though these bags easily fitted the measure. They were intransigent and charging many passengers."

Voordelen: "Very pleasant crew. Nice modern plane (but spoilt by too many seats -see below). (Paid for) sandwich was very nice."
Nadelen: "Too many rows of seats fitted. The seat pitch was such that anyone over 5'11' would be in real trouble. Luckily the flight was far from full so I could put my legs sideways into the empty seat space next to me."

Nadelen: "I didn't like boarding without zones, you have to stand for so long waiting because every gets in line at the same time."

Nadelen: "Everything about this experience was terrible. They charge you for bags that will clearly fit in the overhead bin and under your seat. None of the boarding crew communicated with each other, so even though two members approved the size of my bag, the woman checking boarding passes didn't believe them, so she kicked me out of line and I had to pay anyway. They even sell scratch tickets to passengers on the plane, how cheap and sleezy can an airline get??"

Voordelen: "I think the crew were ok. But I didn't need them for anything. I guess I'm happy they were not rude or miserable themselves. They seemed upbeat which was the only positive thing about this whole trip. Plus I think the pilot stepped on it, cause I think travel time was less than what was planned (I might be missing taxiing time though, so not sure)."
Nadelen: "Well, I can't say I wasn't entirely expecting this. There was over an hour and half delay. Nothing announced. We were in the dark. The plane didn't arrive on time, nothing announced. Boarding was delayed, nothing announced. When boarding was complete, there was an indefinite delay that was only announced quite a bit later. Anyway, the whole experience, including naming Charleroi airport as "South Brussels" is not something I intend to repeat."

Nadelen: "The flight did not fly out of the airport I selected thru kayak. I missed my flight because I was unable to make it to the correct airport in time. I will NEVER use Kayak again."

Nadelen: "Bagage refusé à l'allée car arrive trop tard. Aucune possibilité de médiation si ce n'est que de prendre le vol suivant 4 jours plus tard. On se fait réveiller toutes les 5 min pour no S vendre tout et n'importe quoi. Bref, une très mauvaise expérience qui m'a vacciné :-("

Voordelen: "Le prix du billet, le personnel de bord était correct et essayait de parler en français."
Nadelen: "Un embarquement compliqué en Porte 31 à Madrid, collée à deux autres portes qui embarquaient aussi deux vols Ryanair complets, un peu le bazar. L'atterrissage était catastrophique..."

Voordelen: "Prix attractif , hôtesse agréable"
Nadelen: "Très gros retard au décollage, trop de ventes à bord."

Nadelen: "Une demi heure de retard.. comme d'habitude. Mais les prestations habituelles étaient cependant au rendez-vous. Tout se paie chez Ryanair. 35 euros de bagages à payer une fois à l'aéroport. En effet impossible de se connecter en ligne sur l'espace privé ryanair 48 heures avant pour ajouter un bagage. Bien décevant. Nous avons été contraints de prendre une très grosse marge de sécurité pour l'aéroport.. 3h30 au lieu de 2h. En effet, le standard par téléphone nous a gentiment expliqué qu'il était impossible d'ajouter des bagages à moins de deux heures de l'heure du vol."

Nadelen: "Flight was late. Made me check in my carry on while there was load of space in the plane Ryansir boarding staff were their usual horrendous self. Obnoxious and seemingly happy to harass travellers for few cms of lugage"

Nadelen: "De payer 50€ alors Ke l enregistrement en ligne n a pas fonctionné les fait kOn voyages à plusieurs séparément la bouteille d eau a 3€ plus jamais ste compagnie"

Voordelen: "Rien à dire sur le personnel à bord"
Nadelen: "Nous nous sommes présentés avec nos cartes d'embarquement électroniques qui nous ont été refusées alors qu'elles étaient acceptées pour d"autres passagers sur notre vol. Nous avons été pris en otages, contraints de payer 15€ par personne (90€ pour 6 personnes) d'amende. Tout ça pour imprimer des billets dont le qr code ne fonctionnait pas. Seuls nos billets électroniques fonctionnaient au flash des machines, billets électroniques qu'on nous a refusés !! Un comble !! Il s'agit d'une discrimination inacceptable ! Qu'on se le dise ! Ryanair pratique des amendes à la tête de certains clients sans recours possible !! Ryanair PLUS JAMAIS !!"

Nadelen: "Hidden fees all over the place, they charge you for: 1. Luggage 2. Check in at the airport (it's free online though) 3. a carry on that doesn't fit in a specific size box 4. Breathing their air"

Nadelen: "Avion très en retard, rien en retour. Je ne prendrai plus Ryanair."

Voordelen: "Price for the flight"
Nadelen: "Unexpected, late, and lack of communication of long delay. The gate numbers change at almost the last minute to boarding, meaning you may need to run to the right gate and be last in line."

Voordelen: "Ponctualité et embarquement facile sans trop d'attente"
Nadelen: "Débarquement en plein soleil sur bordeaux avec la température 34 degré en attente du contrôle douane police au frontière .. ca a durée 1h"

Voordelen: "I liked the staff, the plane..."
Nadelen: "It would be nice to know in advance if the airport accepts mobile boarding ticket."

Voordelen: "I liked the new interior of the plane - lot more room, easier to move between seats, easier to place luggage"
Nadelen: "The crew did everything necessary, but they did not smile, their communication was not spontaneous and a bit "robot" like. This was in in contrast to the crew on our first flight to Brussels - the crew there was cheerful and fun to travel with."

Voordelen: "nice crew, they tried their best"
Nadelen: "the plane was packed with drunk af stag groups screaming shouting abd drinking non stop from takeoff to touchdown"

Voordelen: "Nothing"
Nadelen: "The crew is not welcoming, cramped seat, long line and force to check in my bag and paid 50euros."

Voordelen: "Fast efficient service"
Nadelen: "Some times cold crew"

Voordelen: "The flight was on time, I paid the extra for the seat at the front which got priority boarding, and there were empty seats at the front of the plane. I was out of there as soon as the plane landed. Just close your eyes and it will all be over soon."
Nadelen: "People were lining up 15 minutes before boarding and the boarding process was more like a rugby scrum as everyone piled into the back of the plane. The food was pretty mediocre and not cheap, but there was nothing to purchase in the airport terminal."

Nadelen: "We purchased our tickets through Kayak. Ryanair website was not accessible to add luggage and check in. On the check in counter, we were not allowed to check in because they claimed that we had to check in online. We contacted the Ryanair desk to solve the problem, and we showed them that we are not able to access the website to check in. Eventually, they forced us to buy brand new tickets or we would have missed our flight."

Voordelen: "Possibilité de changer de place pour se retrouver avec ses proches. Equipage agréable"
Nadelen: "Manque de places pour les bagages, temps log pour gagner son siège"

Voordelen: "On time Pleasant cabin crew Fast Track"

Voordelen: "À l'heure, du moins pour l'aller. On verra pour le retour..."
Nadelen: "Bruyant, peu de place. Les hôtesses passent toutes les 15mn pour vous vendre à manger, des parfums, des tickets de grattage, etc... Bon, c'est Ryanair donc les billets vraiment pas chers mais tout se paye après (enregistrement, réservation des places, bagages, etc...). Mais quand même aller-retour à Porto pour 2 personnes pour 180 euros, çe n'est quand même pas trop cher."

Nadelen: "Add on fees quadrupled the cost"

Nadelen: "pas d'info en français de la part de l'équipage."

Nadelen: "Tout est payant, espace étriqué, atterrissage dur ...."

Nadelen: "Impossible to get a hold of I tried email Webb and telephone in each case I had to wait long time and most the time it would disconnect I was never able to talk to a human being I had other business that I had to attend to where I am and had to cancel my trip to Brussels I will try never to fly Ryanair again there reputation precedes them. Every other airline allows you to change within 24 hours, In the over Million miles I've travel. Please help!! Thank You, Robert"

Voordelen: "The briefness of the flight"
Nadelen: "The plane smelled a bit musty and of urine- almost like that of an old folks home. The crew wasn't that pleasant either. Glad it was a short flight."

Voordelen: "Arrivee 40 minutes plus tot"

Voordelen: "Efficient boarding. Had upgraded seats (2F), lots of room."
Nadelen: "Flight attendants seemed to dislike every minute of it. Seats have zero recline."

Voordelen: "Low fare. Efficient check in process."
Nadelen: "Long walk to the gate. No ramp into the plane from the gate. No escalator. You have to go down the stairs and walk to the plane to board."

Voordelen: "Easy online Check In Low price Friendly welcoming on counter and on plane"

Voordelen: "Nothing"
Nadelen: "The boarding process is slow and the agency is full of hidden fees. I chose Ryanair because they had the cheapest flight from Milan to Brussels but I will never fly Ryanair again because in fact their ticket prices after all the fees, were over 100 euro more than other companies and the process of checking in I did not like."

Nadelen: "Retard...."

Nadelen: "Suite à une erreur de réservation je n'ai pas pris le vol. Impossible de se faire rembourser même 10 minutes après avoir finaliser la réservation. C'est une honte ! Je conseille de ne jamais utiliser KAYAK pour réserver son vol."
