Voordelen: "The flight was nearly full, but I lucked out. One person in my row did not show up, so myself and the other lady in my row had the benefit of having an open seat in between us. The crew was cheerful and accommodating. They did the normal beverage service, but also brought complimentary water and coffee 3x during the rest of the flight. This was greatly appreciated, especially after 5 days of drinking and partying. My buddies and I spent two and a half days in Las Vegas for a bachelor party followed by two days in the LA area for a wedding (yes we did it Hangover style) :) Thank you Delta!"

Nooit uit Amsterdam. Wie moet ik dan geloven? Ik toch maar wachten. Blijkt koffer toch van bagage band in Atlanta te komen. Als ik op Delta/KLM info had vertrouwd, was mijn koffer dus pleite geweest, want niet doorgezonden. Geplande tussenstop duur van 2 uur was volgens douane te weinig. Dat klopte. Haalde maar net vlucht Atlanta/Kingston."

Nadelen: "No available SkyTeam lounge unless you had a business class ticket. As a Diamond flier, I can always access the SkyTeam lounges. Audio for boarding was a little unclear so there was some confusion at boarding. For reasons unknown, my bag was moved from one overhead bin to another. Very frustrating since I board early to avoid this confusion and hassle."

Initially the attendant brought me a vegetarian meal with cheese, part of the regular meal options, then she found the one with my seat number that was dairy - free. It was quite tasty! And I was grateful, since I would not have been able to eat the meal with dairy. It is not a preference, dairy makes me ill. The delay departing from Brussels caused us to miss our connecting flight to Denver, but our provided hotel accommodations in NY were quite comfortable. One item of note: The LaGuardia staff person, who made our arrangements for the overnight stay, said there was a shuttle from the hotel to JFK ( where our flight was in the morning), so she did not give us a travel voucher for the morning. The Hotel only has a shuttle to LaGuardia; it never has a shuttle to JFK. It seems the staff person should have known that. When we called Delta to ask how we should handle that, Delta kindly offered us reimbursement; it was just a phone call and a mailing for us and for Delta that was extraneous. Our interaction with the staff person was entirely pleasant, we were just surprised that there was misinformation."

I got another American Airline flight which was also delayed over and over, then finally canceled and I was stuck in the airport for the night. I was given a voucher for a Hotel. The Miami shuttle took me to a dark street at 4am and told me to get out, this is your stop. I told him I was not going to get out it was dangerous and there was no hotel in sight. I had him take me back to the airport where I spent the next 10 hours watching my flight get delayed all over again. It was ridiculous. It ruined my whole trip. I will not be flying with American Airlines in the future."

Nadelen: "Many of us (15+) on this small plane lacked seat assignments. That meant we all had to wait in a queue at the gate for them. They started boarding the plane before they issued any seats assignments to us (we all had confirmed reservations, and we weren't in a group or anything). Then they decided that the premium fliers ought to get the empty 1st class seats, so they had to get in front of us in the queue to change their seats. Anyway, the boarding was essentially finished before they issued any seat assignments. In the end, they gave me two boarding passes for my son and none for me, but the lady was nice enough to just send me through (I was in the system in a seat, apparently, but the printed card had gone missing somehow). Once on the plane, the cabin and ground crew were quite pushy in hurrying everyone to get strollers packed (yes, there was a guy with a baby wating for seat assignments). It didn't affect me at that point, but it was really rude. It just takes time to get children on board, and it was the airline's fault they weren't boarded first. BTW, the flight was operated by American."

Nadelen: "With an hour delay out of Paris due to waiting for missing aircraft flight documents to be completed and delivered to the airplane on the holding ramp, we ended up arriving in Toronto an hour late. With only an original connection time of 90 minutes, it was not possible for me to make it thru Canadian and US customs to the connection gate. I was to learn that no other connection to a Kansas City was available until much later in the afternoon / early evening. As a result, I ended up arriving in Kansas City 6 (six) hours later than originally scheduled, three quarters of the time it took to travel from Paris to Toronto. To say the least , I was not at all thrilled having lost that time."

Nadelen: "My flight from Milan was 1 1/2 hr late but before landing it was announced that our seats on the connecting flight was "protected". I got to my gate 40 min. before takeoff (it was 15 min. delayed). Upon boarding I was told my seat was given away. They assumed I would miss my flight. I had to wait another 4 hr. to board a flight to Vancouver BC leaving 11pm. I had to go to a hotel at 2 am and take a 8:50 am flight to PDX. Before boarding I was again stopped because my ticket didn't have the proper security stamp. The agent there was extremely rude and condescending. This was a terrible experience!"

Nadelen: "1. Food very substandard. Hot food not very well prepared and rather tasteless, and snack was like a cardboard wrap with some salsa sauce in it. A disgrace to a major airline like Air Canada. Selection of drinks very limited. 2, Staff persisted in speaking mostly French, on an international flight. Some announcements were made only in French. As a Canadian, I can follow French, but let us remember that English is the international language. To use French is not fair to other nationalities, who expect English. 3. Seats far too close together for a long flight. There was more legroom on the Jazz flight from Montreal to Ottawa! 4. Entertainment kept breaking down. Headphones for my wife did not work, and eventually both of our screens went dead. Her's quit right in the middle of a movie. Bad!! 5. Boarding passes had zones on them, but these were totally disregarded in boarding. This resulted on overcrowding, long waits, etc. Hard on older people!"

As a result I spent the night at Detroit and take the next day flight."
Nadelen: "We weren't notified via email, text, or phone call that our flight had been delayed almost 2 hours. Found out at the airport. Didn't get into Montreal until 2 am. Plans were wrecked for the night. Flight crew not very friendly."

Nadelen: "Bathroom on the plane was very small; although clean there was a bad odor, not sure it was from a previous occupant, the water or something, but it was most unpleasant."
Nadelen: "5 hour delay. Didn't get the correct seat."
Nadelen: "They wouldn't offer me any change of the flight unless I paid more than double what I originally paid for the airfare. I just lost an entire airfare because they're change fee's are too much, and they are also not allowing me to change the flight to cheaper prices that I've found available on both Kayak and Air Canada. I will never fly Air Canada again."
Nadelen: "No movies"
Voordelen: "Comfy seat, good food, great attentive service and wonderful safe take offs and landings! Also we received extra treats for their inaugural flight from Brussels to Toronto."
Nadelen: "Air Canada cancelled my boarding pass even though I made it to the gate before boarding started and refused to put me back on the flight. Then they lost my bags. The Toronto airport is a mess - avoid it if at all possible."
Nadelen: "Flight should leave at 8:00.Left around 8:25 because delay loading luggage....Reached LA 20 mins. late and waited 10 mins to taxied to the gate....."
Voordelen: "Free wifi in airport, easy boarding and disembarking"

Voordelen: "Replacement flight was fine but third time original flight in early afternoon to LGA cancelled in the last eighteen months."
Nadelen: "Flight ac714 was cancelled. Put on AC716 which put me at LGA in evening rush hour."
Voordelen: "It was a beautiful day to be in the sky. The crew was friendly, easy to talk to."
Nadelen: "Other than being cold it was a good flight."
Voordelen: "The in-flight entertainment and smooth boarding were the only good things about this flight."
Nadelen: "Unfortunately, my flights were delayed due to show, which is understandable. However, a friend of mine told me my flight was delayed before Air Canada even announced it. I had incorrectly assumed that the website had made a mistake because we were boarding on time. Once boarded, they announced a 1 hour delay."
Nadelen: "You had to pay for anything to eat, not even pretzles"
Nadelen: "No food."
Voordelen: "I wasnt told I needed a transit visa for Montreal."
Voordelen: "Mostly everything was good."
Nadelen: "Was delayed by 30 min."
Voordelen: "At the luggage area in airport, associates helped me print my tags and print my ticket for flight. Flight was smooth"
Nadelen: "11/2 hr flight, and luggage was not put on plane Could not understand person on intercom reviewing safety measurements on plane. Accent was too thick to understand English. Was not happy about having to pay extra for a seat on plane-If you do not do this, you get "booted" On the way home, apparently there was not enough room for everybody's carry-on's"
Voordelen: "The entertainment system had a good range of movies. There was no food...but at least they passed some water around."
Nadelen: "Boarding seemed unfair to put the people in the back last."
Voordelen: "A good flight crew made the best of what they had to work with."
Nadelen: "1. Very small plane 1/2 mile away from the main concourse. 2. Plane 1 1/2 hours late in departing for the first time. 3. Plane got a flat tire taxing to departure runway. 4. 2 1/2 hour additional delay to return to a gate to get the tire changed & reboard the aircraft. 5. No onboard lavatory 6. Overhead storage bins would not fit cary on bags that met Air Canada's stated mesaurements!!"

Nadelen: "The flight was delayed for over four hours with minimal information provided to the waiting customers."

Nadelen: "none of the flight attendants seemed to be friendly- literally all of them were neutral or slightly rude at best. Not impressed."

Nadelen: "I was unable to pre-order a kosher meal through the web site. Customer service could barely write in legible English and in essence told me to take a hike. Flight was bumpy both ways for quite a while. What's the point of giving me a boarding pass in Tel Aviv if I need to go to the United transfer counter in Brussels and go through the process again, including a TSA (friendly) interrogation?"

Nadelen: "Due to United delays in Bogota we were put on a standby flight 3 hours later. We didn't get on. Then had another connection two hours later that was delayed due to maintenance. Spent over 10 hours in airport. And over a total of 30 hours traveling ☹️"

Nadelen: "Wifi charges are a bit gouging"
Voordelen: "The flight crew seemed worn and a bit surly. They ran out of two of the meals and the one I got was oddly seasoned but it was warm. We sat on the ground quite a while while they fixed the PA system with no water then there was a women they'd let on the flight even though she had a different destination - supposedly they spent an hour looking for her bag on the plane. Do you hold up a whole plane load of people that got on the right plane for the woman that didn't and how come when they checked her ticket - no one noticed?"
Voordelen: "We toured the Boeing plant in Everett (Seatle.) I wish I had bought a T-shirt I saw in the gift shop. It read, "If it ain't Boeing, I ain't going.""
Nadelen: "Except in the row right behind 1st Class, the seats are kinda crammed (in.) On a commercial on one flight, during the spiel about safety, the movie screen showed about 5 or 6 cabin attendants putting up their trays in prep for landing. Tey all leaned forward as far as they could to reach their trays. I looked around. I could reach my tray with my arms at my sides. If the actual airplane had had it'w seats spaced apart as in the movie, the plane would have been fully loaded with some 35 passengers. I forgot what airline it was, maybe yours?"
Voordelen: "lots of good movie choices"
Nadelen: "touch screens didn't always work easily"
Nadelen: "Kansas City airport is in need of a complete remodel."
Voordelen: "That transportation was available in Chicago."
Nadelen: "No problems."
Nadelen: "Flight delayed"
Nadelen: "I chose Luthansa because I was traveling with a bike and they are usually good about not overcharging however after booking the flight, United took over the flight and they have very unfriendly bike policies (200 each way). Usually I will not fly United because of these policies, I think I am done flying any Star Alliance companies."
Voordelen: "on schedule even though ORD had some weather issues but yes good flight.."
Nadelen: "This was a mess as the attendants didn't not have my transfer ticket It took them for ever till the last minute when was called by the Microphone"

Nadelen: "No request was made for the outbound flight which I want to comment about. At Dulles Airport, I checked in at the Brussels Airline counter, only to be told that since I was on a flight operated by United, then I had to go to the United Airlines counter to check in. At UA, I was handed a boarding pass which advised that my seat will be assigned at the gate. I saw on the monitor where the available seats were-1 window, the remainder middle row. I got the feeling that since I bought a ticket which cost less than what the other United Airlines customers paid for, then I was being relegated to seats that the other travelers didn't desire."
Voordelen: "Helpful crew when I told them that my right leg was causing me severe pain. I asked them to order a wheel chair for me when the plane landed They did so right away."
Nadelen: "The DVD player at my seat did not work. I was the last one to leave the plane, with the help of some crew members; but no wheelchair was waiting for me. A staff called but was told that no such an order was received and no one was then available to bring me a wheel chair. Later someone in the Cleaning crew made a couple of calls and finally ,10 to 15 minutes later, a wheelchair arrived."
Voordelen: "Though the airplane arrived late for boarding (due to inclement weather and air-traffic), the airline worked fast to make sure that the plane was clean and ready to board. The hostesses were very kind and helpful."
Nadelen: "There were no gluten-free options for snacks. There was no entertainment, which isn't really a problem for shorter flights."
Nadelen: "People were not told where to get their transfer boarding passes until last minute. Security check of "random" passengers was overboard. I wasn't one of the passengers who had to undergo the extra security at the gate, but felt bad for those who did. Completely unnecessary.."
Nadelen: "A 1 hour delay in Brussels, combined with the complexity that is Dulles resulted our missing our connecting flight. The United employee who rebooked us for the late-night flight five hours later put my wife and me on separate rows, requiring a second wait in the lengthening lines to sort out. Avoid Dulles. Avoid United."
Voordelen: "There were good movies."
Nadelen: "Food didn't look great. There was a vegetarian option, which was nice to hear, though I opted to just eat food that I bought since the food looked like TV dinners. Also snacks were like pastries and cheese/meat sandwiches, which I didn't try. I would appreciate healthier snacks, like fresh fruit, or failing that, dried fruit and nuts. Also there were no electrical outlets, which made it a lot harder to get any work done on the flight. For such a long flight this was disappointing."
Voordelen: "I made it to the airport safe and sound."
Nadelen: "It was a complete cluster as if no one knew what was going on. Once we were finally able to board we sat on the plane for an additional 30 minutes or so because the air conditioning went out on the plan and we all had to sit there in the scalding heat while they fixed it."
Voordelen: "Videos on United flights kept getting re-started"
Nadelen: "We were delayed, no big deal. Then we got on the plane and set there on a hot plane for over 30 minutes waiting."

Voordelen: "The flight never took place, and I was never notified - not by United, not by Kayak, not by anyone. I called Customer Service on March 31 when I was notified the flight from Marrakech was rerouted to Liege, Belgium and was told to take a bus to Brussels. When I got to Liege, I was boarding a bus to Brussels when someone told me the airport was closed. I then got my flights rebooked on Lufthansa. Why was I never notified that the United flight was cancelled? I haven't checked on it yet, as I just got home after flying 3 flights from Liege instead of 1 flight from Brussels. I understand the situation is bad, but why NO NOTIFICATION?"

Nadelen: "i went to the (galley?) at the back and politely requested a drink, a member of staff refused me because they were just about to begin serving drinks. that's stupid. i was sat right at the back of the plane and wouldn't get a drink for at least 20 minutes because service starts in the middle and works back. fortunately another member of staff (older, female) just reached over and handed me a drink, because she understood it was easier and quicker and more reasonable to do that than to be a dick about it."

Nadelen: "Could not get my boarding pass before reaching my last terminal because it was not ready from Montreal or Toronto, and no staff were available elsewhere in the airport. this prevented me from making necessary purchases to bring with me to Kinshasa, my final destination."

Nadelen: "Had to change a tire on the plane - they checked us through at the gate but didn't allow us on the plane - which makes sense. However, they should have NOT checked us through at the gate. Dozens stood for over a half hour waiting to move forward. They wouldn't let us back into the gate area to sit. Poor planning"

Voordelen: "Thanks to formula b.family we had priority when boarding. The Kids were offered a present on board."

Nadelen: "boarding was later then it should be, also when the boarding starts everything was super slow, and they try to put all people from one plane to one bus ..in the end when was completely crowded and there were a few people that really can't get in because there was no space left, finally they bring another bus for them... Our departure was late and we were half hour later in Warsaw."
