The crew was amazing and we would go out of our way to fly SAS again
Outstanding service Boarding at the gate was a bit crazy. The gate seating area was small and they boarded the back of the plane and business and eurobonus at the same time which got crazy and very tight. Otherwise SAS is a great airline and service.

Easy on boarding. No food or free water/soft drink but it was a short flight so that was fine. Seats were average.
I booked through Kayak, trusting them. But they used one of these cheap online travel agents - Chatdeals. When I missed my flight due to a 3 hour train delay that was out of my influence, Chatdeals refused to rebook without a fee. SAS couldn’t rebook either. So I was stuck and lost the flight. Had to buy a complete new one. Never book through kayak or one of the cheap ones. Always airline direct! Expensive lesson learned… 🙂 Jan
Roomy, neat, organized and I felt despite being in the main cabin that all passengers would get an equal amount of attention and care. Great airline.

Nadelen: "Some of the staff at the check in desks can be very rude. Also, on my initial flight, they closed the check-in early and left many of us stranded without knowing who to talk to and how to manage to get on the plane. When someone from SAS finally came, I was told I would be escorted through security and most into the plane but then the "manager" or whoever was in charge denied it. The plane did not leave for another our and instead of arguing with the costumers they could have just helped us get on the plane. It was unfair of them to close the check in desks early and on top of that to catch a plane the next day they wanted to charge and exorbitant fee. I Wii never fly SAS again."

Nadelen: "since all tickets and passports are checked in advance and do not need to be scanned again when boarding, they really should start boarding from the back of the aircraft (after all the business, first-class, and priority folks) because it would really speed things up the main meal was good, but the snack was much smaller compared to my flight from Chicago to Stockholm"

Nadelen: "When passengers in front of us kept their seats reclined the entire trip, couldn't move, difficult to get in or out of seats. Had to ask flight attendants to ask them to raise seats, at least during meal service. Food was worst of any international flight we've been on and we fly internationally several times a year. Very poor selection of movies and map was not working this flight."

Nadelen: "Passport control in Copenhagen is too slow to allow for a 35 minute layover. We missed our flight to Stuttgart and had to go to the transfers counter. The service at the transfers counter was outstanding and they put us onto a Lufhansa flight. In the end we got to Stuttgart 5 hours later than planned."
Voordelen: "Courteous staff, great food, CLEAN airplane, spacious seats. Zero complaints and WAY better than any domestic airlines (United, Delta, American) based on personal experience!"

Flight was delayed an I almost lost my connection in CPH. and it has the narrowest legroom of all Star alliance flights. my flight from stockholm was delayed and there was a massive queue at border control and no SAS or CPH airport staff to organise to get PAX through faster so they dont miss their connection I had to fight my way through the queue otherwise I would have lost my connection"

Why would you make people kill themselves to run thru the entire airport and rush thru customs only to stand there and wait at the gate? It makes no sense. It should say a boarding time and not “gate closing time” whatever that meant. Food was served too early. And it wasn’t good. No good food options to purchase."

Nadelen: "Online check in does not work, ever. Late boarding all 4 flights inconvenient access to boarding pass. Was required to stand in line for 30 minutes to get boarding pass for connection instead of getting boarding pass when I left. Also, no kiosk to get it myself. Just about missed my connection do to these delays. No one is in a hurry at this airline"

Didn't like that alcoholic beverages weren't included. Most other airlines offer wine or beer at no extra cost."
Nadelen: "Staff was very rude and not accommodating. I asked for water at one point and I was told I could only get tea or coffee. The team lacked a human component. I had been traveling since 8am Milan time without being able to get any food or coffee because I was jumping from plane to plane when I finally had 10 minutes to spare I grabbed a coffee and before even taking a sip I was told I couldn’t bring hot beverages on the plane. I wasn’t given an explanation just that I had to toss it out in a waste basket before even stepping onto the platform. I travel a lot for work and have always been allowed to bring my coffee onboard so this was not only a shock to me but very upsetting because this coffee would have been the only thing I would have in my stomach since dinner the night before, it was already 3pm Dublin time. Highly suggest customer service training for this airline. Another note, your team at baggage claim in Dublin gave us the wrong information about hour Aer Lingus and British Airways work. We were told that since we were switching airlines and even though our bags were tagged to go from Milan to London to Dublin to LA that we were responsible to recheck our luggage in with Aer Lingus. So not only did we have to grab our bags but go through customs and check in lines from departures. Needless to say we were running to our gate but not before someone in checking station telling us that we didn’t have to worry about the bags because they would have made it even though they were on the baggage claim belt in Dublin. It goes without saying, I will never fly with Aer Lingus or recommend it to anyone I know."

Nadelen: "Let's see... Refused to check my bag because the flight was "over booked". The plane blew an engine on takeoff and then landed in Shannon, IR (150 miles west of Dublin). Once there, the airline had no idea what to do with us passengers (for 4 hours), eventually deciding to put us on buses back to Dublin. Once back there we were offered stand by flights to London, where we could try to find flights back to the U.S. (again, on stand by). When we finally got on another Aer Lingus flight (3 days later), my wife and I were asked for $80 to check a second bag. When we asked the desk agent to wave the fee because of our 1st flight mishap, we were told "Hey, you lived through it, didn't you?". Avoid this airline"

We talked to a person from Air Lingus and he said it happens often but there's nothing to do. on board, the head sets are very old and you could only hear from one ear using the head set provided by Air Lingus. in 2018 ?! seriously !?"

Nadelen: "The service was really poor. An international flight wee u have to pay for the alcohol, and no cheap either!! The food was mediocre! The plane was outdated. No USB or headphone. Only those offered by the airline and the sky da was awful!! The seats were small and not comfortable! The tv screen wasn't responding to the fingers, had to use the remote!! Everything was not nice at all. The stewardess and steward were not pleasant, it looked like they didn't want to be there or they were bother!! I will never fly again either British or Aer Lingos."
Nadelen: "The connection time of 1.5 hour is barely enough for going to U.S. because U.S. pre-custom clearance takes a long time. This should be taken into consideration when the airline provides this flight option. When we get boarding pass for the second leg, Dublin to LAX, the way seats are assigned doesn't make any sense. I was assigned to row 12 but my husband was assigned to row 36. We checked in together. When we got on board, there were plenty of seats available, so it did not make sense that we were not assigned together."
Voordelen: "Crew was pleasant. Food was OK and service too. Boarding was fine."
Nadelen: "The 4 hours wait before my connection, the extra security selection that got me all patted for the 2nd time."
Voordelen: "I loved that the trip was relatively short and uneventful. The food was adequate, but nothing to brag about and very little. The hostesses were nice,better than last time. The price was right on, mostly for a trip of under 15 hours...when usually it is 20h with a stopover."
Nadelen: "On the way over, I couldnt get water. The trolley didn't come by, and I had to "leg-over" my sleeping neighbor to get a glass of water fo the back reserve. The TV wasn't working; the remote was dead. As it was a night flight, it didn't matter tt much for me, but it should've been working. The passengers could have been spread out better as there were completely empty middle rows. It would have helped with comfort."

Nadelen: "Food was so so. Entertainment selection was so so. Entertainment technology was substandard."

Nadelen: "At Frankfurt Main airport the check in counter had initially only one person and the lines were very long. After about 30 minutes they opened 2 more counters. We were waiting at the gate for the bus and the flight time had passed , but no announcement that the flight is delayed. finally we get on the plane and then we get an announcement that we the plane does not have clearance for another hour and half. The entertainment on board is very very old stuff, and shockingly the food is also bad and no vegetarian food."
Voordelen: "The customs clearance out of Dublin is fantastic. Boarding was smooth. The pilot was very communicative and informative. The legroom, even with the electrical box was fine. The food was quite good and served piping hot."
Nadelen: "Unfortunately we had one grumpy flight attendant who sighed and rolled her eyes a lot. Too bad as all the other flight attendants were great. The seats were hard for such a long flight. The tv monitors had a lot of difficulty but finally worked. The sound was not good and made it hard to hear the dialogue."
Voordelen: "The flight left almost on time which was good and landed a little over 20 minutes late which was ok."
Nadelen: "I had a window seat and felt very crammed. Also, we had to wait close to an hour for our luggage to come through. That was most annoying."
Voordelen: "The seats were comfortable, the crew was friendly and the food was okay."
Nadelen: "The entertainment system wasn't great. The earphones quality was quite bad and felt really uncomfortable. Unfortunately, AerLingus still has that double pronged plugs and I wasn't able to use my personal set (actually, I could but sound would only work on one side). I'll definitely fly with them again, only next time I'll bring an attachment for me to be able to use my headphones."

Nadelen: "Second flight with aer Lingus, second time my baggage has been lost. Phone operators are shockingly rude and unhelpful, and retrieving my luggage is an unnecessary pain. Hopefully this time will be less frustrating than the last one. I'll simply never understand what is so difficult about putting baggage on the flight it is meant to be on; there were at least twenty other people both times that had missing luggage. Food this time was pretty gross, but have never had an issue with it personally before."

Nadelen: "The entertainment was extremely slow. It stopped completely a couple times and had to be restated by the crew. Nor were there recharging plug ins."
Nadelen: "When I sat down at my seat, the entertainment screen froze. I kept telling the flight attendants to help me out and they kept resetting my screen but nothing happened. So they gave me a complimentary Wi-Fi card, but there was no service or wifi available. One flight attendant tried to help and said he would come back. 45 minutes later... he never came back! I pressed the call button to get the flight attendant's attention, and no one came for an hour and a half! They saw the light above my seat, but they just kept walking past me! I raised my hand to get their attention, but they ignored me and walked right past me! I appreciate the fact that they were trying everything they could do to help me out, but when they started ignoring me every time I asked them for help...that was just rude and my anxiety began to rise! Worst flight experience I have ever encountered."

Schiphol airport was in chaos. I waited more than 2 hours in line for security check. Had to excuse myself among passengers because my flight is near and I can't wait anymore. Asked an agent if I can pass in front of the line, run all the way to the gate, turned out they changed it so I had to run again to the second gate, arrived 2 minutes after the indicated boarding time. The plane was still there (kept being there for an hour and a half of delay afterwards) but the flight agent decided boarding is closed and I can't be boarded. Which doesn't make sense because I am not responsible for the airport problems and chaos. I already endured all the standing and waiting in the unbelievably long line and did all I could to catch my flight and I wasn't even that late. 0 flexibility. 0 respect for the customer. She asked me to book another ticket for a later flight while my flight is waiting in front of my eyes. Later it got solved by some gentleman who appears to be the pilot who insisted that passengers are not responsible for the airport chaos and that she should on-board us (me and 2 other passengers in same situation). So grateful that happened but the discussion with the first agent was super frustrating. My other flights with Vueling went just fine.

We had to purchase food and drink separately. I can't even believe juice or soda was not included! It is dangerous to not offer at least water for that long of a flight. Would never fly or recommend Norwegian Air ever again."

HEUREUSEMENT, un policier me demande ce que j'attends, me dit que l'embarquement vient de fermer, que je dois courir. Arrivé devant la porte, plus de passerel, le commandant à était bien gentil de me laisser monter dans l'avion qui décollait 2 min après. Je ne vous remercie pas !"

Voordelen: "Our flight was slated for 3:35pm departure. But hours before the flight, the guessing game started as to how delayed and for what reason the flight was delayed. We ended up leaving 4 hours later and with one feeble apology from the captain..."
Nadelen: "Absolutely nothing. A meager €8 voucher that didn't even cover a meal and a poorly informed gate agent that couldn't provide any information because the head office wouldn't provide any information. To top it all off, the lie as to why the flight was delayed was not maintained by either ground staff nor the crew. Unbelievable"
Voordelen: "This was a standard flight.... there was nothing special about it...."
Nadelen: "Mesurant presque deux mètres, mes fémurs ne "rentrent " pas. Le vol à été court, heureux de m'en extraire !"
Nadelen: "4h de retard en tout."
Voordelen: "It’s a quite flight and good space"
Nadelen: "No billows at the chairs"
Nadelen: "At the check in gate the man made us pay for the luggage we carried on the plane"
Nadelen: "We arrived more than 2 hours too late - this on a 2 hour flight. This can happen - but flight history shows that this flight is too late every day. The seat pitch is the worst of all low-cost airlines in Europe. Also the plane needs a renovation. We are flying regularly low-cost airlines. But non of the competitors is so expensive. Vueling can’t be recommended."
Voordelen: "Le personnel de bord"
Nadelen: "On nous a fait passer l’embarquement pour nous faire poireauter derrière une porte pendant une demi heure avant de nous faire faire machine arrière en nous disant qu’il y avait un retard de 40 minutes. Quand nous avons fini par monter dans l’avion (étant précisé que l’avion était en sureservation et que de nombreuses personnes n’ont pas pu y monter), nous avons encore attendu 1h15. A bord aucune petite collation et le tout avec un personnel peu souriant."
Nadelen: "I can't even begin to describe the horrendous experience..."
Voordelen: "Although I booked a flight on what I thought was British airways it was some off brand airline: Vueling very disappointing to show up at Gateick to check in at BA and be redirected to the equivalence of Spirit airlines in the USA."
Nadelen: "It said British airlines and was a vueling airlines flight. I would equivalent this to booking a flight through Kayak on Delta showing up to Delta to check in and being redirected to Spirit airlines!! Completely misleading, just glad I didn’t have to pay for a vag as I would on Spirit. No water, snacks offered pretty bare bone airline!!"
Voordelen: "...and don’t really do that in a way helpful to the passenger! I couldn’t get my boarding passes from Vueling’s website, as the login details as required by Vueling, are actually those used by who “bought” the ticket - some random email used by Kayak / Lastminute.com, and not mine! Crazy! Moreover, the whole business processes that Vieling use are just dijointed. even getting help I still never received by boarding passes via email."
Nadelen: "Worse, Vueling charge you, on checking, to “choose seats” with no obvious way of not paying for them! I’m sure here was a link somewhere - but could I see it?! Nope! that and my suitcases, and I had paid over €100 extra on top of my initial flight cost. BA or Easyjet next time!"
