My colleagues and I have all agreed to fly Delta again ( specifically the Atlanta/ Milwaukee flight) Because of these courteous, caring, and professional people!"

Nadelen: "I never received anything about my booking. I went the airport Wednesday morning not knowing if I’d actually fly out. I only had on my Kayak app a trip itinerary. Thankfully I did. In Atlanta I added my Skymiles # to my trip. Upon arrival in Mexico I rec’d a push from Delta about my trip with my Record Locator. Flying home was to depart at 8am. When I rec’d my boarding pass it stated 8:55am. While waiting at my gate Delta sent me a text at 7:30am that my flight would be leaving at 8am. That confused me. Needless to say I was suppose to arrive CVG at 3:49pm, but instead was booked on a flight departing Atlanta at 4:30pm. Plans at home had to changed for Friday evening as I was not arriving at mid-afternoon. Needless to say I’ll probably not book thru Kayak anymore."

Voordelen: "Delay. First it was about 20 min, then 30, then 49 and 55. At the end more than 70 minutes delay. Too much, too frequent on delta!!!!"

Die meneer geeft aan: stop uw koffer in automaat. Die accepteert niet. Had die meneer ook gelijk kunnen zeggen. Volgende loket. Die mevrouw geeft groen Delta label: uw bagage wordt in Atlanta direct doorgezonden naar Kingston. Ik loop dus door in Atlanta. Maar behulpvaardige meneer melde: uw bagage wordt niet doorgezonden. Nooit uit Amsterdam. Wie moet ik dan geloven? Ik toch maar wachten. Blijkt koffer toch van bagage band in Atlanta te komen. Als ik op Delta/KLM info had vertrouwd, was mijn koffer dus pleite geweest, want niet doorgezonden. Geplande tussenstop duur van 2 uur was volgens douane te weinig. Dat klopte. Haalde maar net vlucht Atlanta/Kingston."

Voordelen: "Some "perk" for Diamond status on Delta to get to a shorter security line, but customs and immigration was... customs and immigration."
Nadelen: "No available SkyTeam lounge unless you had a business class ticket. As a Diamond flier, I can always access the SkyTeam lounges. Audio for boarding was a little unclear so there was some confusion at boarding. For reasons unknown, my bag was moved from one overhead bin to another. Very frustrating since I board early to avoid this confusion and hassle."

Voordelen: "Left on time. Arrived on time. Seat was ok. Meal was ok. Crew was professional."
Nadelen: "Long wait at immigration in Paris (not Delta's fault)"

Nadelen: "The flight was delayed due to aircraft issues making us 2 hours late for vacation. THIS IS MY HARD EARNED MONEY! I literally put blood, sweat and many many tears into this trip. The flight attendant was so rude on this trip. It was like she was absolutely offended by my presence. I barely even spoke to her except to make sure of my vegetarian tray to which I got the nasty reply "You'll have to wait because I don't have it with me now". If I wasn't so focused on sleeping as much as I could I would have written her name down. No complimentary cocktails for Preferred Seating? Seriously? What did I upgrade for exactly? Literally four inches of space? Late, rude, money sucking industry who holds no accountability for wrong doings. Don't get into the Health Industry.. you'll kill people with this flippant attitude. Bleh.. I doubt I'll fly with Delta again. The thought of having to do so turns my stomach."

Nadelen: "No westjet checkin area and no signage. Staff didn't know what was going on."

Voordelen: "The crew kept it together even though the situation was stacked against them."
Nadelen: "The plane was really late, changed gates a number of times and switched from one terminal to another then back to the original terminal again. My understanding was this flight was a mess the previous week as well which says that something needs to be fixed. The temperature on the flight fluctuated back and forth from too hot to okay. You get the picture."

Voordelen: "I had ordered a dairy - free vegetarian meal for the international flight. Initially the attendant brought me a vegetarian meal with cheese, part of the regular meal options, then she found the one with my seat number that was dairy - free. It was quite tasty! And I was grateful, since I would not have been able to eat the meal with dairy. It is not a preference, dairy makes me ill. The delay departing from Brussels caused us to miss our connecting flight to Denver, but our provided hotel accommodations in NY were quite comfortable. One item of note: The LaGuardia staff person, who made our arrangements for the overnight stay, said there was a shuttle from the hotel to JFK ( where our flight was in the morning), so she did not give us a travel voucher for the morning. The Hotel only has a shuttle to LaGuardia; it never has a shuttle to JFK. It seems the staff person should have known that. When we called Delta to ask how we should handle that, Delta kindly offered us reimbursement; it was just a phone call and a mailing for us and for Delta that was extraneous. Our interaction with the staff person was entirely pleasant, we were just surprised that there was misinformation."

Nadelen: "Delta connect carrier not good for comfort seating and service. Would not fly them again. Would go to another airline iinstead."

Voordelen: "Booked as Delta but flew WestJet. Crew was amazing!"
Nadelen: "Only minimal snacks available due to shorter flight."

Voordelen: "suppose to be Delta but operated by West Jet"

Voordelen: "Smooth, nice flight. Excellence service, they tried to make up for the late pioltes, allowing to broad befriend they arrived."
Nadelen: "The flight was delayed over an hour, because the pilots were late. Not only was it delayed over an hour, but the flight itself was postponed twice because they knew they had a problem with scheduling."

Voordelen: "We're fine with no entertainment - we bring our own devices for that. Keep costs lower. The peanuts and other snacks were a pleasant surprise. The flight was delayed but the staff kept us reasonably informed and got us boarding ASAP. The plane was a little old but we like the 2-2 seating arrangement - perfect for couples."

Nadelen: "3 gate changes in an hour."

Voordelen: "Only thing we liked was the fact that we were able to get onto our flight at all..."
Nadelen: "Was not informed that checking in online is the only way to secure a seat. So, regardless of whether you book your tickets 3 months in advance or the day before, you're not actually guaranteed a seat unless you check in online. We weren't told this until we were at the airport and checked in there that we might not be able to get our pre-booked in advance flight because of over-booking from KLM. We then had to wait and see if there were seats available when boarding. Luckily, there were, but we were not sat together. Not the greatest start to our first holiday together as a couple. We were told that if there weren't seats available, they'd pay for us to get to another airport to fly out, which would have meant a huge delay on the only time off we'd get together this year and have to rearrange our pre-booked and pre-paid living arrangements for the week. All because there wasn't a lot of emphasis on the need to check in online before hand. You'd think if someone checked in at the airport, that would be more of a guarantee that they'd be flying with you that day, but apparently not. Definitely not impressed or happy with this part of the KLM experience. This is the only company that we've had this problem with, they should make it clearer that it is essential to check in online."

Nadelen: "The plane wasn't refueled and so was not ready for take off once the passengers were loaded. The plane had a technical problem when it tried the first take off and so it had to be abandoned. This was alarming.."

Voordelen: "Er werd een gratis snack aangeboden en wonder boven wonder, was dat een vegetarische snack! :)"
Nadelen: "Het was erg warm in de cabine."

Nadelen: "Fijn dat er nog gratis iets wordt geserveerd, jammer dat dat dan een broodje kip was. Waarom geen kaas, kunnen vegetariërs ook wat eten. Nu had ik niets."

Nadelen: "Flight was cancelled and we had to return to Amsterdam after du,ping fuel to make sure we could have a safe landing."

Voordelen: "The cabin crew were pretty good. That's about all that was good."
Nadelen: "I paid almost $400 for upgraded seats. When I got to the airport-- no seats-- both ways!! i didn't even have regular seat assignments. I had to choose from the last few seats available. The ticket agent, the gate agent and the cabin crew all did nothing to make up for the fact that their system screwed up and stuck me in a cramped coach seat in the back of the plane for 11 hours-- TWICE! Beyond that, KLM must have one of the oldest fleets in the sky. Both ways LAX->AMS->LAX, I was on a 30-35 year old 747 with no wifi, no power and a ten-year-old entertainment system. Never again."

Ensuite reacheminement en bus ou taxi pour les plus chanceux. Sans qu’on nous donne le moindre repas. Pourtant atterrissage prévu initialement vers 11h. La il est 14h10 passé et le ventre vide et toujours sur la route entre Lyon et Genève."

Voordelen: "Prima vlucht! Geen aanmerkingen."

Nadelen: "Too late i missed my connection flight"

Voordelen: "From pre-boarding, to boarding, to the food, and the attentiveness, everything was top notch! The cleanliness of the plane was only topped by the friendliness of the crew."
Nadelen: "The flight was marked at almost 11hrs but ended up being only 9...not a negative other than it meant not spending as much time on board!"

Voordelen: "In Toronto werd ik aangesproken door een dame van KLM met de vraag hoe ik reisde, alleen of in groepsverband etc. Zij gaf aan dat ik gebruik kon maken van de lounge en dat er hulp aanwezig was om bagage in te checken bij de self check-in. Uitermate vriendelijke en behulpzame dame. Tijdens de vlucht was er zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam cabinepersoneel beschikbaar."

Nadelen: "KLM can't seem to figure out the order of boarding the plane. Should be business - priority - everyone else. Instead they do priority first, and that's usually two-thirds of the passengers. Also, really tired of the fake business class on these flights..."

Voordelen: "The crew service is impeccable. Ground services very friendly and professional."
Nadelen: "The seats are very uncomfortable. The individual screens are simply outdated like you basically will damage your eyes looking at them. No chargers for phones."

The Flight back crew were just the opposite. More like the old lazy farts you get on the American carriers or BA or QF long haul. Whoo have been there for the long haul and should have stopped ages ago."

Voordelen: "I loved that the trip was relatively short and uneventful. The food was adequate, but nothing to brag about and very little. The hostesses were nice,better than last time. The price was right on, mostly for a trip of under 15 hours...when usually it is 20h with a stopover."
Nadelen: "On the way over, I couldnt get water. The trolley didn't come by, and I had to "leg-over" my sleeping neighbor to get a glass of water fo the back reserve. The TV wasn't working; the remote was dead. As it was a night flight, it didn't matter tt much for me, but it should've been working. The passengers could have been spread out better as there were completely empty middle rows. It would have helped with comfort."

Nadelen: "My plane was broken, they had no idea when and if we were going fly away. Once the plane was brought to the gate, mechanics had the engine apart inspecting it. Then they caused a fuel spill during fill up which caused the fire trucks to come. This was very discomforting for 300 people waiting for 4+ hours to get on their plane. Once on the plane internet did not work, and my in seat entertainment was rebooting often. I spent 7+ hours at Dublin Airport, sick with a sinus congestion... Plus all the restaurants and shops were closed due to it being after hours of their operation. Last time flying this airline."

Voordelen: "The seats were comfortable, the crew was friendly and the food was okay."
Nadelen: "The entertainment system wasn't great. The earphones quality was quite bad and felt really uncomfortable. Unfortunately, AerLingus still has that double pronged plugs and I wasn't able to use my personal set (actually, I could but sound would only work on one side). I'll definitely fly with them again, only next time I'll bring an attachment for me to be able to use my headphones."

(A big help after a long trip and short on $!) And the best part? They dealt with U.S customs before we left Dublin so that we didn't have to deal with the long lines in Boston. So grateful!!!"

Voordelen: "The crew was very helpful and after becoming ill after eating the meal, one of the flight attendants was extremely nice and checked in on me from time to time to give me water."
Nadelen: "The special meal I received actually made me quite ill. I highly recommend bringing your own food on board or purchasing the snacks on the flight instead."

Nadelen: "Bagage sélectionné pour aller en soute sans demander l'avis du client. Résultat = perte de 30 min pour récupérer la valise."

Voordelen: "Service was great, everyone was really helpful"

Nadelen: "We arrived in Toronto from Dublin to get our connecting flight with two very tired children and were told by Air Canada that our connecting flight was never booked by Aer Lingus. We were told that the flight we were supposed to be on was full and there was no flights until the next morning. To top it off Air Canada could not locate our baggage and we were told to wait around and check back every half hour. If was past two in the morning Dublin time and our kids were exhausted and fell esleep in the airport. We could not wait around any longer with exhausted children so we booked a hotel and took our kids there without our luggage. Our kids were crying because our baggage was lost and thus was a shitty way to end our vacation and my birthday! Would not recommend flying with Aer Lingus or Air Canada. Horrible service."

Voordelen: "Not much"
Nadelen: "1. BA said I couldn't get a seat before 24 hrs before. Then when I tried to get a seat assignment I was told (by email) to contact Aer Lingus. Aer Lingus said that I should have called before 24 hrs before, and that seats were now in control of the gate (this still 22 hrs before flight time). Total lack of coordination. 2. At check-in I was first told that my bag was too big for carry-on, although BA had accepted it. I shrunk it down. Then I was told it weighed too much at 15 kg. When I asked why BA accepted the weight I was told BA's weight limit was different. 3. Net net, if BA is "arranging" the flight through a code-share it should have responsibility for insuring I am treated like a BA customer. Aer Lingus' customer treatment leads much to be desired."

Voordelen: "Liked the entertainment screen and choice of shows, movies and music. The extra back pillow was nice. And the prepackaged food was surprisingly good."
Nadelen: "not enough leg room, I have long legs."

Voordelen: "Entertainment was great! Kept me busy all the way home."
Nadelen: "Menu! Choice was either chicken or beef. To accommodate the wide range of palates out their more choices or a better combination of choices, such as chicken or pasta with vegetables, beef or rice and beans etc..."

Nadelen: "Both flights, outgoing and returning, had the same problem. My family was spread all over the plane. My wife was in the back, I was in the front, and my two kids (ages 2 and 4) were split apart in the middle! Aer Lingus won't allow kids to be checked in online or over the phone so we couldn't address this until we arrived at the airport. At the check in desk, Aer Lingus personnel who are usually very accommodating told us "I'm sorry. It's a full flight. You'll have to talk to the flight crew." As if boarding a an international flight with two toddlers isn't difficult enough, now we had to do it without knowing where are seats were. All I can say is thank God for the accommodating passengers on our flight. The flight attendant was not helpful so I had to ask people myself."

Nadelen: "Monitors for flight data and movies kept freezing up. Questions about seating were not answered correctly when getting boarding passes. Asking for donations for UNICEF on board. Paying for alcohol drinks, usually international flights you don't. Food was really bad. Pre declaration went on forever and couldn't get a gate number. The list could go on and on. We travel a lot, first and last time with this company. Oh and TSA people had an attitude problem. Never experienced this before."

Nadelen: "on flight from London to Dublin my luggage got lost in Dublin terminal. The staff at the connecting flight counter went way out of their way to find it and escort me all the way through Irish customs to the on-site American customs and Immigration. Without their help I would have missed the flight from Dublin to Chicago."

Voordelen: "The price, kind of comfortable seats."
Nadelen: "No entertainment options. No refreshments (drinks or snacks) unless you purchased them."

Voordelen: "the ticket price was fine, but I paid in blood when it comes to comfort level....The sitting room was designed for a person 5' tall weighing 75 lbs!!! It will be A VERY LONG TIME before I even consider flying in such discomfort again"
Nadelen: "The sitting space was so small that I felt I was packed in a tuna can for 8 hours at a time...I will NEVER fly like that again!"

Voordelen: "The flight was on time crew very pleasant food drinks not applicable for short journey"

Nadelen: "the flight was fine, but not being able to checkin online is VERY inconvenient, and I spent TOO much time trying ot reach Aer Lingus, Justfly, BritishAirways to get checked in, with no success. The reference number needed to check in for the operating airline should be provided to the passenger."

Voordelen: "I was fortunate to get an upgrade and loved every aspect of my flight. The food was excellent, service was impeccable and offered with a genuine smile. I was comfortable and enjoyed a great selection of music. I also liked the products in the complimentary bag. I will definitely be using Aer Lingus whenever I am traveling to an area they service, and will be referring you to others. Thank you and happy 2016!"

Nadelen: "Obligation d’enlever l'ensemble des films transparents protecteurs sur les valises, alors même que lors du voyage aller la compagnie n'avait pas embarqué une valise (non filmée), toujours très désagréable de devoir reprendre les bagages au comptoir d'enregistrement. Demande de justificatifs d'adresse lors de l'embarquement alors que ces justificatifs n'étaient pas requis sur le voyage aller. Vérification minutieuse de l'ensemble des poids des bagages à main (qui étaient tous conformes) pour un vol intérieur d'une heure... A l'évidence le service client n'est plus au rendez-vous avec Air France."
