The booking agent didn’t complete all the way in the computer. I am thankful that I had my original paper and Swiss airlines fix it"

Divertissements : équipement vidéo d'un autre âge !"

Nadelen: "Entertainment monitor kept stopping, then going, fast forward, then fast reverse. Watched a 1 hour 10 minute movie that took 2 hours 40 minutes to view. I am over 200 cm in height, the passenger in front of me was 163 cm with seat all the way back while sitting on the edge of her seat playing games. The monitor I was watching was about 14 cm from my face. I never put my seat back, but I sure as hell will now. This flight was over seven hours, that is to long to be contorted."

Nadelen: "Boarding started 20 mins late, once on board was moved to accommodate a family to sit together. No objection to them sitting together but how is it possible that they’re in that situation to begin with. Flight was overbooked so crew offering cash to delay for a later flight, which on a Sunday evening is an unappetising proposect"

Nadelen: "Extremely rigid rules. My flight was the day of the blizzard in Boston, Tues, 3/13. Despite 5 calls to Swiss to reroute me out of Montreal, an airport I could actually get to, they would not relent. I finally just drove there and a really nice agent changed my flight since Logan was closed and all public transport was shut down. Even if my scheduled flight from boston wasn't canceled (I have no idea) they were incredibly unhelpful about the fact that I physically could not get to logan in time for my flight. (Mass DOT was asking everyone to stay off ALL roads). THEN on the way home, they would NOT let me fly back to Montreal where my car was!! WAY TOO RIGID RULES. Screw the customer!"

Voordelen: "Turkish continues to go above-and-beyond to provide all of its passengers with a quality experience. Meals were actually good (I opt for the Vegetarian offering) and Economy seats are perfectly fine."
Nadelen: "Both ground staff and inflight crews border on rude, but I choose to believe it's a cultural thing and not a corporate or personal failing. Really, it's a coldness more than anything. No warmth or empathy. Planes are showing their age, particularly in the seat monitors. Screens have dead zones with inoperative icons. Also, quite a few seats were literally falling apart. But, when you fly to more countries than any other airline, some wear-and-tear is to be expected."

Voordelen: "Liked that they moved me to a better seat - was sitting next to a cranky old Turkish man - who complained every time we brushed his legs getting into our seats- he refused to stand to let us into our seats- I said this is not gonna work and they found me a great seat with some normal passengers."
Nadelen: "Food was just ok, plus it’s a longer trip - I understand they kill the lights to let people sleep but offering more drinks - soda and water would b nice - rather than having to go to back and beg- they know who is awake and watching movies - b nice to ask."

Voordelen: "Food was good as it is typical on Turkish Airlines."
Nadelen: "The check in process was terrible. I specifically requested seating together with 2 small children and an injured daughter. The check in process was the most chaotic I've seen in recent times. No clear order, no clear counters. We bounced back and forth before we checked in our luggage. At the gate, another long chaotic line of multiple questioning and bag/body search before we boarded buses to our plane. When we boarded we found out we were split at 2 or 1 seat arrangements (out of 5 travelers). After complaining, there were able to seat at least 3 (with one lap child) together and 1 separate. The plane was uncomfortably hot all flight long despite notifying the flight attendants. The one restroom ran out of soap in the first hour of the 11 hour flight. They quickly ran out of a choice for lunch option and snacks. I fly Turkish Airlines frequently and I usually am satisfied, but this was exceptionally bad experience."

Nadelen: "The staff was not great. An issue with a first class customers made them move around economy customers like they ' really not even people but utilities, all that for that one person. If they would have informed and talked with the other customers that would have been fine but being treated like a piece of furniture isn't nice. Plus, continuous strikes in Belgium see a joke, check-in luggages delayed for plenty of airlines. This country doesn't even know what strike mean anymore being so often..."

Nadelen: "I had to buy a Tukish Visa...spend the night in Istanbul.Screwed up my driver,my Mom had to call and cancel my appointments.I had no clothes,of toiletries....just a nightmare"

Nadelen: "the coach seats are really cramped--especially for a 13-hour trip; need to get rid of the buses that take passengers to/from terminal to airplane--wastes precious time with short connections"

Voordelen: "This was the best coach experience I've ever had. Food was great, tv screens were large, little bags with earplugs, slippers... were provided. Other airlines could take some pointers on how to treat passengers on long, overseas flights."

Voordelen: "The space between the seats in Business Class is phenomenal - most space i can recall in Business Class. The lay flat feature of the seat is also great."
Nadelen: "They put some spice, don't know which one, in almost all the meat dishes and unfortunately I don't like the spice. The mushroom, potato omelette was an egg omelette laying on top of canned mushrooms and a potato cake laying on the side. This is not a potato, mushroom omelette by American standards. The amounts of food are phenomenal and I couldn't eat all they offered."

Voordelen: "Great flight. On time, crew was courteous and well trained. Seats comfortable with a good entertainment system. Good food."

Nadelen: "The Sabiha Gökçen airport in Istanbul is discrageful, and changing flights there is always a horrible experience. But this is not, of course, the fault of THY. The airport is simply too small for the current number of flights."

There was no information and no help, and the gate was already closed. The people at the ground terminal knew no foreign languages. All they could say was 'I do not know. This is not my responsibility'. Completely disorganised."

Nadelen: "I was traveling with my 5 and 10 year old kids. Lufthansa got us three seats in three different locations. When I asked to help us get seats together flight attendants told us that I should ask passengers if they could switch seats. Apparently Lufthansa staff doesn’t ask passengers to do it."

Conséquence j’ai mangé un bout de pain et une barre tendre! De plus, le personnel était plus ou moins compréhensif et accomodant."

To add insult to injury, the Aegean flight required check-in at a Lufthansa counter which would not accept payment for the luggage fee. I had to wait in a long line of 30+ passengers at the Aegean counter"

Nadelen: "Unbeknownst to me, I needed a boarding pass prior to checking my luggage and there was a 35 Euro fee for one piece of luggage. I did not appreciate either one of these unexpected occurrences and extra fee."

Voordelen: "Once we landed in Athens, knowing that our next flight would be taking off in 5 minutes, we thought ther was no way that we'd make it. Instead, they had someone waiting for us when we got off of the flight and someone to run all 11 of us through the airport to the plane. Aegean held the flight because they knew 11 people from the Santorini flight were coming."
Nadelen: "Once on the plane, we ended up sitting there for another 30 minutes, even though it was already 20 minutes late waiting for us. When I asked the stewardess whether that meant that our bags were going to make the flight she said she'd have to check. She never came back. I then asked a second girl and she said that she'd have to check and she never came back. I finally asked again before landing and she supposedly went and asked someone and came back and said yes they made it. Got to baggage claim - no bags. We had another flight to catch back to the states, so we didn't have time to figure out the situation. We spent the next three days frantically calling Aegean, to no avail. Their customer service either wouldn't answer or would tell us to call London Heathrow lost and found, who wouldn't answer. Eventually, Delta found our bags and had to work with Lufthansa and their own boots on the ground at LHR to find the bags and get them back to us."

Nadelen: "With Kayak I booked Tel Aviv to Malta with 1 hour stop in Athens. The first flight was delayed by an hour hence making me lose my second flight. Aegean then booked me on a flight to Catania (Italy) for a different connection to Malta. Only that this Aegean flight was also delayed by an hour making me miss the second connection. Eventually I arrived in Malta 15 hours later than scheduled. Aegean customer service reps were extremely unhelpful and made this 10 times more difficult. I missed a whole vacation day, amassed roaming telephone charges and on top of that missed a reservation for Dinner in the Sky Malta."

Voordelen: "They charge us 40 ero each for bagage. Mabe it was my foult thst i didnt notice that the air price not include bage. Smal wotld u know I thing it is not fair"

Voordelen: "Personnel tres souriant. Sièges confortables. Collation agréable. Coloriage pour les enfants. Embarquement prioritaire bien géré."
Nadelen: "Longue attente au moment de l'embarquement. Et avion en retard."

Nadelen: "Everything was bad delayed and unprofessional team."

Nadelen: "30 minutes delay on boarding. Flight attendants did not pay any attention to me when i pressed the assistance button. No one ever came to ask what i needed, they passed by me more than 10 times while the attendance light was on but they never saw it. Very disappointing."

Nadelen: "after boarding, we were stuck sitting in the plain for 2 hours because of a technical problem, and Aegean was trying to use the situation to sell us water! no water was given to us, also- no useful information about the status of the problem."

Nadelen: "I was surprised, and only for the best!"

Nadelen: "I wasn't expecting such a rude crew, Greek people were incredibly nice everywhere and this was the first time in a flight that I felt so disrespected. From check in being the only one questioned about visa and documents (we don't need visa) to being mistreated during flight. Really disappointed."

Voordelen: "I do like the clean aircraft, and pretty precise service. Also it was on time , for comfort the pillow and the blanket was nice . Some airlines doesn’t give anything anymore! Which is awful."
Nadelen: "Just a small thing the lady who was serving and picking up the used cups said I have to finish the juice and after she can take it away. But I couldn’t finish because it was too sweet and I didn’t like the juice. So I had to get up and bring the cup to the back. That wasn’t nice. Also they at but flexible about giving choices. Only one kind of sandwich they had but I think there was one other kid also."

Nadelen: "Nothing. The plane was clean, everything was on time, and everyone was polite and professional."

Nadelen: "We are regularly taking this flight for end of the year snd in summer. For no reasons whatever if it is in France or in Vienna, the flight is delayed of minimum 2 hours! It was the case once more the case. And all without communication as it is normal! And it looks like this is normal as the flight from yesterday was also leaving at 19h05. This is a joke."

Voordelen: "-maintenance had to fix an issue that the team was not transparent about for 2.5 hours. 0at least boarding happened swiftly -the male crew member was GREAT but the female crew members two of them were very short, rude, and not there to bring comfort to customers -chicken meal was tasty, but made both me and my father sick. Muffin for breakfast was mediocre as well -tv was good, but touch screen sometimes doesn't work."

Nadelen: "Collation non adaptée au menu spéciaux demandés (vegan)"

Voordelen: "This is always a pleasant airline to travel with."
Nadelen: "I felt like the airlines deliberately cheated me. I purchased a flight that was listed as "economy" , which means I am authorized one suitcase. When I got to checkout they said I had pay for the suitcase. Turns out my flight was economy 'light' flight and I had to go the Austrian airlines desk and pay euro 40 for my suitcase. Wish that would have been clear when I purchased the ticket. Also there is no clear info on what the cost is for your bag at what point in the check-in process."

Voordelen: "They were really good with checking in my excess baggage and my two cats. Cats travelled well and arrived as expected. Check in at O'Hare was very friendly. In the air, flight attendants were very accommodating and friendly. All luggage and cats arrived! The plane from O'Hare to Austria was very nice!"
Nadelen: "I think I have gotten used to Asiana's and Korean Airlines'. It just didn't seem to measure up to their business class service. The food (which has been highly rated!) I found to be just mediocre. Maybe it's because I was living in Asia for eight years and had become more accustom to asian cuisine?? I didn't love the seat either. When you recline, your feet are cramped inside a small area under the seat in front of you. It was cramped. The ability to customize the seat recline was limited. I like being able to move the head and feet into my own customized position. The business class seats from Vienna to Amman felt like coach."

Nadelen: "L’aéroport de Vienne qui ne dispose d’aucune aide pour les transferts : il faut trouver les panneaux bien cachés dans un labyrinthe... et 2 contrôles des bagages durant le transfert alors que nous arrivions d’un vol international."

Nadelen: "Booked a ticket with luggage and got email saying I am at economy class. When got to check in told me I have economy light and I had to pay again for luggage. Dissaster. Contacted priceline- did not care."

Voordelen: "Overall it was a good trip and staff was helpful."

Voordelen: "it was mess, so I cant say positive thing"
Nadelen: "Well, it was all messed up by kayak and priceline. I clearly stated in your search engine I want flight with checked baggage, for which you gave me results. What a unpleasant surprise at check-in to find out it was super expensive airticket with only 8 kg of carry on! You are confusing people on purpose, I cant believe your service! And I was loyal customer for years and years. Well, time for change."

Voordelen: "Crew was very friendly, food was decent and the boarding was a breeze."

Nadelen: "While going to the gate G11 at Vienna airprt, i slipped infront of the gate in presence of 3 male austrian airways staff who were checking there. After i got up i requested if i could get some water and they said they cannot. Finally a co passenger gave me her bottle of water. I ended up actually breaking my leg"

Voordelen: "Short flight, no major issues."

Voordelen: "On time departure, friendly staff"
Nadelen: "GET AN AGREEMENT WITH GLOBAL ENTRY"

Nadelen: "Food part was missing."

Voordelen: "Wonderful flight attendant. (I think his name was Stephen?)"
Nadelen: "Plane took off and landed late.. Few amenities near the gate. Odd procedure to have everyone go through security into waiting area."

Nadelen: "When our plane arrived late, many on board had missed connections. We received no help/guidance at gate, other than to be told to go up one floor. One floor up we had to go thru security to reach customer service. 100 people lined up for customer service from 3 Austrian airline reps. After 2 hours of standing, there were still 27 people ahead of me. The woman behind me gave me the local phone number for Austrian airlines and I was able to get on a flight to US leaving in 30 minutes. I managed to make it, and would not have had I waited another hour in line. Why no surge of staff to help? All 3 help numbers on my Lufthansa e-mail receipt could not help. Horrible experience."
