First flight came in a few mixtures late, but then we had to wait our long turn to deplane, get on bus and wait for it to fill up with all slower passengers, drive to terminal, make it through passport control, take train to other terminal, and run 20 gates down where they were looking for us. We made it with 1 minute to spare from takeoff. They knew our bags were connecting and they made it. If they could've expedited our passage with a club car it would have been excellent."

Nadelen: "I did not check the terms and conditions of the ticket. I am a Star Alliance Gold member and I was expecting SWISS to have a similar booking system like the others I fly with. I found out that the ticket fare did not contain checked luggage ( so I had to pay a hefty fee for it ) and also my 20" wheeled case that was ok in all the other flights I took it with me, this time was oversized and overweight . My wife took out the 2 laptops so it became within weight limits but still oversized - My wife paid for the fee ( I wasn't there at the time and she is not a such experienced flyier as I am ) . When I found out about the fee, I checked their rules and I found out that the hand luggage is allowed to be 22" . I saw in the airplane a lot of people with cases having the same size as mine, that went as checked luggage at a cost fo around 40 . I want to see how can I get my money back . . ."

Voordelen: "Love flying Turkish, usually they’re very welcoming on the plane and flight attendants are friendly. Seats convert into a lay flat bed which is comfortable. i would say that the appetizers are usually excellent but the main dishes fall a bit behind. Amenity kit is pretty good."
Nadelen: "Boarding is a problem and I expect it’s a problem everyday. One has to go through many additional checks to board a NY bound flight which is understood but the gates can’t sccomod a full 777 flight. It gets hot really fast, definitely what you don’t need before a long flight. Group boarding is enforced but people will still try to wiggle into the priority boarding line. On another note I have had a similar flight on the A330 and the boarding process was smooth (organized)."
Nadelen: "I didn’t like the nearly 3 hour delay that caused me to miss my connection, and how poorly that was handled. I just lost one day of my 10-day vacation"

Nadelen: "because your flight from Sarajevo to Istanbul was delayed we missed the connection to the SFO flight and had to stay another 24 hours in Turkey + pay $60 for visas......this was a connection that you had scheduled!"

On my flight to Ghana the attendants were so gentle and provided a lot of ammenities. Oh and the hotel was an amazing experience and respite especially after the run-around at the airport. Thank you"
Nadelen: "I did not enjoy the run-around I was given in trying to find the hotel desk. “50 meters then turn left” was the anthem. All someone had to say was go outside the airport and you’ll find the hotel desk! Hehe thank you Turkish Airlines however! Thank you."

Nadelen: "The staff was not great. An issue with a first class customers made them move around economy customers like they ' really not even people but utilities, all that for that one person. If they would have informed and talked with the other customers that would have been fine but being treated like a piece of furniture isn't nice. Plus, continuous strikes in Belgium see a joke, check-in luggages delayed for plenty of airlines. This country doesn't even know what strike mean anymore being so often..."

Voordelen: "I bought a ticket for three persons: my wife, my daughtet and me. I am Nigerian, my daughter American, and my wife's Turkish. However, because of the diplomatic row between Turkey and the U.S., my daughter was refused entry into Turkey. Turkish airlines' policy was to refund the ticket of any American caught in this row. They said they will refund my one month old daughter's ticket. However, my wife and i will not receive a refund. We bought the three tickets together. Our ticket numbers ended in 235...51, 235...52, and 235...53. However, they will not refund our whole money by cancelling the ticket but only that of my daughter. So this is the question: Does Turkish airline want me to leave my one-month old baby in the U.S. and tavel with my wife to Turkey? What kind of parents will we be if we were to abandon our daughter to take a trip to Turkey. Even, the people in Turkish airlines will judge us evil parents, yet that was exactly the only option they gave us. Lose your daughter or lose your ticket money. They will not even just change our iternary or give us another destination we suggested without penalties which are almost 3/4 of our initial ticket price. They just made away with our money. You cannot say, 'We are cancelling tickets for American citizens' but make no exception for parents of infant citizens. This is the height of criminality. So, me and my family couldn't take the flight and lost $1500. We had to buy another ticket by airfloat to get to Georgia. But Turkish airlines refused to even contact us on the refund for my daughter. A truly criminal enterprise."
Nadelen: "They had a vague refund policy for Americans, forgetting that American infants can also have none-American parents who are as much victims in this as the American infant. For them to be myopic and keep repeating talking points of their refund policy is unfortunate to say the least."

Nadelen: "Delayed for almost 2 hours before boarding; and this problem of no USB to charge phones from Abuja to Istanbul is a frequent problem, old fashioned seat and aircraft. Some of the air hostess were mean and hoarding foods.Nigerians patronize Turkish Airlines a lot. Turkish Airlines need to improve better and treat customers right."

They let us wait two hours for luggage before telling us it wasn't going to make it in. Frustrated and disappointed! Ground security in Turkey was rude and took my sons skate board which we had flown to Israel with and back to turkey, then they told us it couldn't come with us to miami although we flew Turkish both directions with no problem. In the end gate staff went and rescued his skate board from security as he got to the flight crying his little eyes out. Communication was terrible and staff was rude!"

Nadelen: "Our flight was scheduled for 9am and we started from Sarajevo at 12-12:30, therefore we had to run thrue huge part of the Ataturk Istambul Airport in order not to miss our connection flight to Antalya at 16:10. Air condition in the Airplane was also to strong so we could not regulate it alone."

According to the rules baggage must be dropped 1 hour before the flight, but the counter was not open. I asked an employee what the issue was and received no meaningful answer.. I made the effort to prepay the baggage fees. Good thing or we would have missed the flight. Will never fly Croatian again"

Hope you can help us get a refund from that unnecessary EUR 70 expense."

I realize this was the fault of numerous airport employees who were ill-informed and not Croatian Airlines fault but it was a problem since we arrived two hours early ready for lunch and were unable to get anything to eat until we arrived in Dubrovnik. Voordelen: "The staff handling the problem were on the whole patient and kind. Once we were able to get to a staff to rebook, they tried."
Nadelen: "There was clearly no plan in place for when a flight is cancelled, how to handle all the passengers' needs quickly and efficiently once the decision was made by the airline to cancel that flight. There was not enough staff when they were needed. There should be emergency staff who can come in for such a problem. Meal vouchers, though spoke of, did not get given out. Even if they were, we could not have used them as we were stuck in a very long and very slowly moving line. Over 3+ hours of waiting, no one from the airline came around to offer even water. They did not try to make sure the the lines stayed a single line - too many people tried to cheat and cut in raising anger, making already frustrated and stressful situation even more so."
Nadelen: "Seats are old and worn. Pitch is Ok. BEG is bad, at least if you connect there to the JFK flight. You have to go to different desks to verify passport (!) and pass additional security control where they don't let you carry in any tax free purchases you make at your originating airport although you never leave the transit area. Boarding is chaotic with no staging."
Voordelen: "The actual takeoff and landing with this airline is usually smooth"
Nadelen: "Airline is always late with no layover time making journeys stressful. The food and drink is only available for pay. There is no entertainment. There is a small snack which has been expired cookies on all flights I’ve experienced, and the staff seems reluctant to provide it. Boarding involved making everyone wait standing up for more than twenty five minutes corralled into as corner."

Nadelen: "Check in was slow but not crowded and they lost my and other 20 passengers’ suitcases! No information was given about why and we still don’t have any information. AirSerbia does not respond do emails or calls."

After all that, the airline changed my seat without warning, moving me from the window seat I selected (and paid for) to a middle seat. Where did they get the idea I would think that was OK? Then the flight was delayed, almost missed my connection. Boarding and exiting the aircraft were zoos. Eminently unrepeatable."

Wasn't given a chance to do so, since you didn't bother to advertise a clear email or available contact info to which I could speak. Now you're asking me for online check in and a review? Well, your customer service is terrible, that's for sure..."
Nadelen: "The fact that I tried for nearly a week to CANCEL the flight. Yet was given no help, after sending email after email, making sure that I covered whatever was possible on my side. And of course, no response. Ended up forced to simply not attend the flight. Thanks a lot for a GREAT customer support, AirSerbia... (being cynical here, just making sure I do what I can so you get this)"

Nadelen: "I am almost 2 meter tall (6'4) and I asked more than 30 days before the flight to receive a seat with extra room for the legs, I was told that the flight was fully booked and there are no seat that are available. I then asked for the same in the check-in and received a similar answer. When I arrived to the plain I saw that I can't seat because there is no space so I asked the flight crew to try and find a solution but they said they can't do nothing. Only after I insisted and spoke with the cabin manager they checked and found a place - in fact there were 2 seats with extra room for the legs that were available!! and the flight had many other open seats (they just lied about it). A lot of the personal television did not work and the crew did not assist and did not solve the problem, but just said that this happens and that they can't do anything. This is just ridicolus for a more than 8 hours flight! The airconditioning did not work properly and it was exteremly hot. In general it was an horrible experience, the crew was very unpleasent and did not want to help and the food was just disgusting. I do not recommend to anyone to fly with Air Serbia, you better pay the extra money and fly with a real company."

Nadelen: "The flight was operated by a avery small plane, so we were advised to leave the carryons outside to be put in the hold. Once on the plane, I thought my bag would fit in the overhead bin. Also, was annoyed that flight attendants would approach you speaking Serbian, which I don't."

Nadelen: "It's not really comfortable, but I guess that's because of the plane model and the economy class, so not much to do there. Boarding was delayed, and they put too many people on the bus taking you from the gate to the plane. The entertainment system should have more content."
