Nooit uit Amsterdam. Wie moet ik dan geloven? Ik toch maar wachten. Blijkt koffer toch van bagage band in Atlanta te komen. Als ik op Delta/KLM info had vertrouwd, was mijn koffer dus pleite geweest, want niet doorgezonden. Geplande tussenstop duur van 2 uur was volgens douane te weinig. Dat klopte. Haalde maar net vlucht Atlanta/Kingston."

Audio for boarding was a little unclear so there was some confusion at boarding. For reasons unknown, my bag was moved from one overhead bin to another. Very frustrating since I board early to avoid this confusion and hassle."

Today it hasn’t been the case .... too poor service for a KLM fight"

My IFE wasn't working so I couldn't even watch a movie or do anything while we were waiting."

Nadelen: "Seated beside a young child with behavioral problems. Father mostly slept. Child stood on seat and jumped up and down, crawled under seats, threw ipad on my foot repeatedly, spilled his drink all over himself and his seat, screamed whenever his seat belt had to go on or his table top couldn't be down. At one point, the dad lost his temper, swore at the child, and covered him with a blanket in a big screaming match before doing up his seat belt--I was afraid he had smothered him but it had the effect of calming him down. No attendant even tried to intervene apart from asking "can I see your kid's boarding pass?" People should have to disclose when they are travelling with a child with severe behavioural problems and attendants should rescue anyone forced to sit beside one or at least make the parent care for the child. Also, a minimum of crackers or pretzels would be nice with drink on 5-hour flight. The entertainment system wasn't operating correctly and kept having to be reset by crew or reset itself. And, after first class etc. board, why don't they board the people at the back of the plane first, not the ones at the front? It took forever because people in front zones hadn't settled into their seats before people from the back zones tried to board."

Nadelen: "When I arrived in Seoul, Asiana would NOT grant lounge access. I had a business class tkt to Korea, and Asiana does NOt offer biz class to my destination...very huge let down."
Voordelen: "There were a couple guys sitting behind us who kept asking the stewardesses for more beer and more wine. And the stewardesses kept giving them for what they asked (free). These guys became loud - as drunks do. It was annoying as we couldn't hear the movie we were watching because those guys were so loud. Any alcohol being served out of meal time either should be charged or put a limit of two max."
Nadelen: "Not the most comfortable aircraft"
Nadelen: "There was a build-up of delays for domestic flights, namely from Toronto to Edmonton, Ottawa and Calgary (the ones I heard). I was on the Toronto to Calgary flight, which was supposedly delayed from 16:45 till 18:55 EST, but the actual boarding time was closer to 19:45 EST. Once all the passengers were boarded, the crew informed us that the pilot was missing. Another 20 minutes went by before he was located, at which point we were informed that the first mate was missing as well. By the time the pilot and first mate were both on the aircraft, it took another 30 minutes for them to get the aircraft ready. My flight from Toronto to Calgary was supposed to arrive at 19:40 MDT, the actual arrival time was 23:00 MDT. As a passenger, I am annoyed to say the least."

Nadelen: "1. Food very substandard. Hot food not very well prepared and rather tasteless, and snack was like a cardboard wrap with some salsa sauce in it. A disgrace to a major airline like Air Canada. Selection of drinks very limited. 2, Staff persisted in speaking mostly French, on an international flight. Some announcements were made only in French. As a Canadian, I can follow French, but let us remember that English is the international language. To use French is not fair to other nationalities, who expect English. 3. Seats far too close together for a long flight. There was more legroom on the Jazz flight from Montreal to Ottawa! 4. Entertainment kept breaking down. Headphones for my wife did not work, and eventually both of our screens went dead. Her's quit right in the middle of a movie. Bad!! 5. Boarding passes had zones on them, but these were totally disregarded in boarding. This resulted on overcrowding, long waits, etc. Hard on older people!"

Nadelen: "Lay out design of terminal, nearly missed initial flight to Copenhagen from Toronto- due to no assistance to navigate through terminal, needed ride but only wheel chair available, but not in time to catch flight. Toronto to MKE- The 5 gate changes, and watching 2 previous flights 40 minutes late with multiple gate changes, plane with flat tire and gasoline leak, not confidence building. Plane very small,tightly seated in back row without ability to recline, directly across from bathroom in which the door kept flying open and a women emerged to state some issue with toilet."
Nadelen: "Very rude staff, my flight from Dublin was delayed for three hours on the runway why they fix the leak for the restrooms. Once we landed I had to clear customs in Canada and get to the new flight. They told me when I finally had to make through the airport and through customs that I need to manage my time better and understand and give myself plenty of time to make the flight.. REALLY??? It wasn't my fault that their crappy plane wasn't working right wasn't my fault we were delayed but I need to manage my time better I think they fell and bumped their head!!"
Nadelen: "AC Ticket attendants were unbelievably rude."
Voordelen: "I think a little more leg room compare to some economy flights."
Nadelen: "I was very unhappy that I could not sit with my husband both ways when we booked the flight together. And we got middle seats which we hate and requested aisle seats. We were also initially placed extremely far away and I was able to change seats to at least being closer, but not together. There was a couple that was throwing a fit that they weren't sitting together in my husband's aisle. The water they provided came from a pitcher and not a bottle and it tasted nasty. I did ask for hot tea on one of the flights and was told they had nothing hot. My tray table was dirty. Sticky stuff on the buckle of the seatbelt. Used plastic cup by my seat when boarding."
Voordelen: "The 2-3-2 seat configuration is better for travelling as a duo. We were provided with blankets and pillows for the 9 HR flight. Food was quite tasty for airline meals."
Nadelen: "Host staff made very few trips up and down the aisles. Have not before been on an Air Canada flight where there are no seat back screens, so it was a surprise not to have any in flight entertainment."

Due to delays leaving Heathrow and arriving in Ontario, my 2 1/2 hour layover was reduced to 30 minutes. And because I was transfering to a flight to the US, I had to sprint through 6 security checkpoints. I made it to my flight, but my bag did not. My bag was not delivered to me until 1 am the following day."

Nadelen: "First, the plane was a 767, rode a plane of that size cross the Pacific was extremely uncomfortable. We sat inside the plane for over 2 hours because of some unknown luggage/passenger problem before taking off! I found there were no entertainment. That was the first time I flew oversea without entertainment (TV). The tightness of the seating and boredom made the trip extremely long and uncomfortable."

Moreover when I contacted vayama as my bookings were proceeded by them even they dint helped me and then I had to cancel my ticket. I feel that the airport should have disclosed more clearly that the fair did not include luggage. I can understand for some short haul flights people can choose to take luggage but international long haul is just heap and dishonest"

J'ai dû payer taxe de 150$ à l'aéroport pour cette malhonnêteté. Exactement la même remarque concernant la nourriture. Il n'y eu aucun moment durant la réservation où l'on a pu choisir notre régime alimentaire. Étant végétarien j ai recu un plat avec viande. Le staff m'a dit qu'il fallait appeler la compagnie auparavant, comment le deviner ? De plus, le petit dejeuner était composé de un ridicule sandwich jambon fromage. J'ai demandé pour changer et dit que du jambon au petit déjeuner n'était pas nécessaire mais on m'a répondu avec insolence que c'était un petit déjeuner "normal"! Le service avant même l'embarquement était médiocre et désagréable. A bord, le staff parlaient quasiment exclusivement en espagnol alors que le vol venait du Brésil. A bord, on nous informe sur pour pouvoir regarder des films, il faut télécharger une application car il n'y a pas d'écran disponible. Une fois a bord les réseaux ne fonctionnent généralement pas! Alors le staff propose un iPad a 10€ ?? C'est une action plus que malhonnête!! Informez vos clients à l'avance."

This sounds like something a shady company would pull off. Was very disappointed, not what I expected from Air Europa"

Please listen carefully to my below story that happened while my flight from Milan - Madrid ___ Madrid - Miami. I traveled on October, 16th from Miami - Madrid and while checking in to this flight, the gentleman on Air Europa check in desk , required me to pay for my luggage and my iternary already stated that my ticket allowes me to have one bag in cargo and one carry on baggage on board. After I met with the station supervisor and showing the receipt, she understood my rights and proceeded professionally checking me in and I made my flight perfectly all the way to Malpensa, Milan.. On October, 23rd, I was about to make my flight back from Malpensa, Milan - Barajas, Madrid to connect from Madrid to Miami as scheduled.. I proceeded in Malpensa ,Milan Airport to check in area number 5 on terminal 2, where Air Europa flight# UX 1066 is stationed to check in the PAX on this flight. Politely I asked the lady if it's possible to be seated by any emergency exits as I am ex - commerical 1st officer for almost 8 years and I will be able to assist in case of emergency, as I am familiar with evacation procedures.. she informed me that I have to pay for this service.. i totally understood and I didn't comment, while the lady reaction and the way she answered me, was really disrespectful.. Then she asked me to pay €150 for my luggage and I explained the same that happened in Miami airport.. but this time I was deeply disrespected by telling me YOU GO TO TICKETING OFFICE OR YOU WILL NOT TRAVEL...i asked the lady to speak to the supervisor.. the supervisor came after awhile and she was very kind, polite and helpful.. but she kept insisting that I have to pay for my luggage, even I showed her the flight iternirary staying that ONE LUGGAGE IS ALLOWED ON BOARD - 1ST BAG IS FREE - 2ND BAG COST $100... and I had only one bag... Then she saw the receipt and while reading it, another lady from the check in station needed the supervisor help, so she left and I found myself speaking to no one, except the lady who is in charge of my checking in process. Then I told her that it's not fair to pay for something that I already paid for. No one in life can imagine how rude, impolite and discriminating she was.. specially speaking to her colleague in Italian carrying a conversation that I can't understand at all.. but I was able only to understand one thing she mentioned many times while angry... ( La Arabo ).... Yes I am Arabic person from Egypt that love the world from east to west, South to north... and I am living in The United States Of America with a beautiful family that have friends from different cultures, religions and races... But I felt really discriminated at this point when she mentioned ( La Arabo ) many times.... Then she looked at me saying OK AIR SIR ARE YOU GOING TO PAY FOR YOUR BAG OR YOU ARE OK TO MISS YOUR FLIGHT ?"
Nadelen: "I honestly told her (( SHUU )) because yes, I was feeling very disrespected and discriminated.. so it's fair enough to tell her (( SHUUU )) as I was looking at someone who is still discriminating people in 2017..Then I told her where to pay ? She directed me to the TICKETING office.. I went there and was really very sad.. not for paying, for how come someone can treat a customer like that... or even a human..then when the gentleman asked me for the credit card, I dropped it on his table.. Yes I know that I did it not in a nice way.. but then i apologized to the gentleman.. and you can ask him that I told him that you have nothing to do with this.. and I should apologize.. he gave me the receipt that I still have it that prove paying €150 for my luggage.. I went through security and then proceeded to my gate with a huge feeling of happiness that I will see my family in the U.S soon after a long trip.. The craziest thing even happened while I was proceeding to the boarding gate, the lady took my boarding pass and informed me that I am not allowed to board the airplane for security reasons..What???? Why??? What did I do??? No one talk to me... The lady who was checking me in earlier was turning her face and smiling.... can you imagine?????? Can you imagine the abuse????? Then I told her what did I do ??? I am not a bad person to not be allowed to board the airplane... I don't carry a gun or anything that threatening the safety on the aircraft.. and you know What?? I started to cry while I feel that I am deeply discriminated.... they told me that the captain has the rights to refuse you being on board... Again, as an EX Commercial Pilot, I know very well that for security and safety reasons for the aircraft, the PIC has the authority not to accept a passenger on board, in case that this pax is threatening the airplane verbally, visually, mentally and physically by showing any extreme illness symptoms that would put the life of passengers on board in danger.... DO I AM ONE OF ALL THIS?????? I am someone who is never being in a police department for any criminal purposes and never threatened any human being life... so why I am not allowed to board the aircraft and go back home to see my family and go to my work that I gain my salary from, to pay my taxes to the country that I am resident in, The United States Of America.. And if you are planning to decline my boarding process, why would you let me pay €150 for the luggage???? Isn't it really unfair???? We all work hard to afford our living... so why to do this for me whime I am leaving my family in America to travel for business to afford living for my family.... it's not fair by any meaning or language...."

This delay was ignored by the captain and crew upon boarding the plane 2 hours later. Even a simple apology would have been nice. The crew seemed a bit tense and the service was ok, not more. Some symbolic compensation would have been in place."

This was an overnight flight, they turned down the cabin light for the first ten minutes but then it was on for four hours, making it impossible to sleep. There was no in flight movie, and there was no way to turn off the antiquated cumbersome seat TV. Really awful to get off the plane and be exhausted. They didn't offer food to the inside rows, only to the window side. When you asked you got an annoyed glare."
Voordelen: "Everything was fine! I slept most of the trip as I was lucky enough to get a window seat. The food was okay and I actually quite liked the red wine I had."
Nadelen: "Can't complain! As I said for the way there, I would prefer not to have to pay to pre-pick my seats, but we choose the random option and I still got to sit next to my cousin (who I was traveling with) for all 4 flights of our trip."

Entertainment in business was from the last century - no individual screens. An Ipad was handed to us resulting in a bunch of cables surrounding us through the entire trip."
