Divertissements : équipement vidéo d'un autre âge !"

The Edelweiss brand is too much based on outdated stereotypes and Heidiland. Nobody in Switzerland walks around dressed and make-uped like the stewardesses of Edelweiss air."

The monitor I was watching was about 14 cm from my face. I never put my seat back, but I sure as hell will now. This flight was over seven hours, that is to long to be contorted."

Nadelen: "We were traveling with my 94-year-old grandfather who needed wheelchair assistance. And it took the 4th person I asked to get any assistance. The very first Alitalia person I tried to speak to was the very worst. Though her job was to check people in, she said she couldn't help me and to go to another counter. When I asked if she could please at least make a call to get a wheelchair (my grandfather was at the airport entry and couldn't walk) she made a terrible face, threw the papers on her desk around and said I had to go to another counter. When I went to the counter she pointed at, I was told again I would have to go to another counter. No offense to dog owners, but the animals that were traveling received better assistance."

Voordelen: "I like that even though the flight was delayed they managed to board all passengers and get things going quickly for departure."
Nadelen: "Upon arriving to Rome, the time taken to land, actually getting off the plane and into the airport takes a very long time. Not much time to get to your connecting flight. Make sure you have at least 1.5 or 2 hr minimum layover time when booking connecting flights from Rome."

Nadelen: "The worst boarding process I ever seen! The airport people and crew didn’t tell people what’s going on, there was a uhh delay. Big lines of people just standing and waiting. The flight took off 45 min late!!"

Voordelen: "The fact that I had more legroom than I expected was surprising."
Nadelen: "The staff were super rude, forgot my food TWICE. Boarding took ages, and once inside the plane, they took a long time to get on the runway. Food was terrible, the bread was hard as rock. IFE has some relatively new films, but the screen is very small. The screen has terrible quality, and honestly makes the flight excruciatingly boring if you don’t have other sources of entertainment."

Nadelen: "Seats were packed with no room for feet"

Nadelen: "Retard. Absence d’information sur le retard. Pas de sourire."

Voordelen: "Being able to chose my seats for free with the Millemiglia programme. The legroom was not bad."
Nadelen: "No hot drinks or food available to purchase inflight. The toilets were dirty and smelly."

Nadelen: "Legroom inside the aircraft is too small. Salted and sweet snack options including cookies. This is on a two hour flight. Very uncomfortable journey"

Voordelen: "In flight entertainment was good. Lots of choices. Plane was clean. Staff was friendly."
Nadelen: "We had only an hour for our connection. Ordinarily, this is enough time. However we had to go through passport control during the connection and we almost missed our flight. When traveling internationally, this should be considered. Rome airport (FCO) could do a better job of managing passengers with quick connections. It was a mess."

Nadelen: "We paid for bags. Called to check the bags were included and on a technicality alitila charged for bags again. When we asked why, we were told this happens all the time. It seems alitila relays on this to rip of foreigners. This is despicable. This happened twice from two different booking companies and only with Alitalia. I will follow this up next week."

Voordelen: "Nothing"
Nadelen: "Food quality was awful, no entertainment whatsoever and the smallest seats I have sat on. Legroom is extremely tight"

Voordelen: "Once arriving in Rome, the agents were very helpful in getting us a hotel for the night. However, at that point, it was very late and we had to wait for everyone else to be accommodated as well. It would have been a better process to have allowed passengers more information prior to arriving in Rome at 22:00"
Nadelen: "We missed our connecting flight to Palermo. For hours before, while we were stuck at Heathrow, we had little to no information as to what would happen once we landed in Rome. We were traveling with two small children and this was extremely frustrating and tiring."

Voordelen: "The flight departed on time and arrived 35 minutes early. The flight crew was very helpful onboard."
Nadelen: "Tried to upgrade my elderly parents to more comfortable seats when checking in, but was told the flight was full and there were none available. It didn't appear that way after being boarded and seated."

Nadelen: "They forgot my luggage but knew exactly where it was was and got it to me the next evening."

Nadelen: "I tried to talk with the service desk to change my flight before the flight and the service team could not help me out because only the service desk outside security could look up other fights. I find this hard to believe and a little ridiculous that AirItalia would make their customers run around inside and outside security to switch flights. We live in a day of technology and have computers for a reason. There shouldn't be an issue why other flights can be looked up from only one computer. In addition, we boarded the plane and then we waited on the tarmac for 2 hours waiting to leave. The air was turned off and it was hot and stuffy inside the plane."

Voordelen: "Food was ok"
Nadelen: "Almost 4hours delay, messy boarding, even worse connection, not all crew speaks English on the long haul..."

Voordelen: "The seats are bigger than in other airlines! Good space."
Nadelen: "The crew disappeared, they would not come when they were called. They were too busy fighting with each other."

Voordelen: "The food was great and they provide plenty and the entertainment was awesome"
Nadelen: "The comfort of the flight for 10 hours in economy was horrible: it's just to cramped. I would only fly first class in the future for long flights. For a better idea: I'm only 5'2 and 160lbs."

I'm on a snowboarding trip and they lost all my gear and basically made it impossible to enjoy my vacation. I sent 3 emails and no one has contacted me yet! I agree that these things might occur but the airline has to take responsibility for their mistakes and address the issues. WORST airline I've been to, if you are thinking of using it I double insure everything and don't count on them to be responsive!"

Voordelen: "Ryanair are thieves and they denied to board me because they said they do not accept my residence card (with which I travelled to Schengen countries before with other airlines) and their website do not mention that I cannot travel with this kind of residence card."
Nadelen: "If they conform European laws and treat their own employees better and stop making their own rules by distancing themselves from other airlines."

Voordelen: "The plane was clean. The pilot was apologetic."
Nadelen: "The ground staff were processing boarding passes before the plane had even landed causing a long queue in the corridor leading to the exit to the airfield. There was no information as to why the plane was late, but this caused us to miss the take off slot and delay the take off by over 2 hours."

Nadelen: "It was what you would expect for a cheap flight"

Nadelen: "The entire process was chaos. First you wait in a crowd to find out which desk to drop your bags and/or check in. Then you race there with the herd. Then with another herd to the gate. After heading down what seems like a boarding ramp you go outside, then into a holding pen. It’s a giant metal shed that looks like it was made for cattle. Then after standing there for 30-40 minutes, you go outside again to board the plan. On board, there were no amenities, but that was expected."

Voordelen: "A pleasant journey."
Nadelen: "It was fine. No complaints."

Voordelen: "Easy of checking in bag and the person working the counter was extremely nice and personable. They flight crew was very pleasant. Decent leg room. More than some other airlines."
Nadelen: "Dirty cabin. Being 1.5 hours delayed on a nice day. God forbid there was an actual storm lol. Why was our luggage in a completely different terminal and NO ONE told us how to get to it? Seemed like there was confusion about the gates when we landed and sat in the plane an extra 15/20 mins trying to get some one to bring over the bridge."

Voordelen: "Timeliness. Small airport."
Nadelen: "Limited seating space."

Nadelen: "We were traveling across Europe with no access to internet. We trued to check in night before from hotel, we had a week connection. Thought we will do it from airport just like the United States. However, due to long line, wemissed tbe two hour window and were charged 55 euro per person. There was 5 of us. Therewere 5 of us. We felt cheTed and scorged."

Nadelen: "Huge delay as usual"

Nadelen: "The check in process was extremely slow and the line up was very long with only 2 crew members checking people in"

Voordelen: "Bonjour, Une fois dans l'avion tout s'est bien passé Nous sommes toujours bien accueillis par les équipages en vol. Confort, bagages, prestations à bord, tout est bien organisé et optimal."
Nadelen: "L'enregistrement a été un véritable calvaire Je n'ai jamais réussi à m'enregistrer via Kiwi mon prestataire Je suis donc venue tôt à l'aéroport pour m'entendre dire que l'enregistrement sur place est facturé plus de 50 euros par passager ! En fait je n'avais pas reçu l'adresse mail kiwi pour effectuer cette démarche, adresse incroyablement longue, introuvable sur le net ( je prends pourtant l'avion depuis quelques années ! ) Bref, gros gros stress et la sensation d'être prise pour une andouille, ce qui est plutôt déplaisant Je ne voyagerai plus par Ryanair si le prestataire kiwi est proposé, d'autant que mes tentatives pour les joindre avant le départ ont toutes échoué. Cordialement"

Voordelen: "Bought priority because of their new carry-on policy, so boarding was quick. Cramped seats but average compared to many other airlines. Crew was amicable. Soft landing."
Nadelen: "Cramped seats, I’m 6’3” or 191cm and am now used to that. Very little cushion on them, so for flights >2hrs it’s going to be uncomfortable but tolerable. Hate their new carry-on policy; moneygrabbers. No snacks nor beverages for free, even in a 3:30hr flight. No entertainment system. No magazine pocket in seats. No reclinable seats. You et what you pay for."

Nadelen: "Le retard !"

Nadelen: "I was seated in 1A next to the window and main door and the one side of my body froze. My nose started to run. An hour before the end I got up and found another seat. But it was cold there too. Also hated the emails they sent me in advance which had me inputting all info before leaving - only to find that “free check-in is not allowed.” I will not fly with them again. It’s not worth the money saved."

Nadelen: "Don’t like the underhand Ryanair pricing"

Nadelen: "Notre pompot adorée a été violentée ainsi que notre très précieuse boule à neige pour ma petite sœur trisomique qui sera à jamais déçue m. j’ai eu faim pendant le vol, comment faire sans ma compote? Je voulais admirer Londres de l’avion: comment faire sans la boule q’ neige? Déçu"

Voordelen: "The price was good."
Nadelen: "We were delayed almost 2 hours but received no notification of this until we were at the gate. Then we were allowed to scan boarding passes and moved outside to a queue in the cold and rain to wait another 30 minutes. Very poor service."

Nadelen: "2 bagages en cabines mis en soute. Une des deux valises complètement cassée et ne pouvant plus fonctionner. Tous cela sans le savoir car le personnel ne fait même pas l'effort de vous expliquer. Sans compter les 2h30 de retard mais pas remboursable car cela ne dépasse pas les 3h. Un scandale cette compagnie qui ne devrait même plus exercer sa fonction."

Nadelen: "I wanted to change my flight but waited too long. I hate the policy is nothing is refundable"

Nadelen: "The price of the flight. I normally am able to secure a return flight for about 100 euros. This time I got a quote for 300 plus for a return flight. Going through an affiliated site helped me to get a slight reduction on the flight. I find it odd that on a Thursday or a Tuesday the cost can be 12.99 pound either way and yet on a weekend this goes up to a silly amount. The flight is still the same. I am still going to the same place. Having to book three months in advance to avail of a cheaper ticket is of no use to me. The girl checking us in on the outward journey had her back to us the entire time when making an announcement for boarding. She looked like she was sucking sour sweets. No friendliness about her at all. Passengers using overhead spaces different to where they are sitting. That's really irritating."
