Nadelen: "On the Boeing 777 series which I flew on, the seats are UNUSUALLY CRAMPED TOGETHER. I have flown for decades internationally: this was absolutely the most uncomfortable flight I have ever been on."

Nadelen: "- We were made to sit in flight for 2 hours. Then all were offloaded. - We were made to sit on airport for flight for about 6 hours. - I was not allowed to exit or reschedule the flight until i waited for 6 hours. - Still its not confirmed whether the flight will depart on given time. - I missed my important work in India. - The new flight arrives Mumbai midnight 2:30 am which is very hectic for me. I paid more for the flight at the time of booking knowing it will reach in the evening."
Nadelen: "gate was poorly labeled. Screens and boarding card said "E11" but there were 3 gates "E11A" "E11B" and "E11C" and most passengers wasted time trying to find the right one (including "E11C" which was the first gate # passengers saw, and required going up stairs to a different floor to determine it was the wrong gate). Terrible signage, awful experience. Someone should be fired."

Nadelen: "My original flight was delayed so I needed to book for a hotel in manila and need to rebook my connecting flight from christchurch to queenstown. Supposedly, the airline company should offer a reimbursement for all my additional expenses. Vey inconvenient on my part."
Nadelen: "Despite me telling the crew a number of times that he temperature was FAR too low, no change was made. Now I am not a first time flyer and I know flights can get cold. I had a sweatshirt, socks, shoes, two blankets wrapped and it was still cold to the point that I put the blanket over my head. When I looked around the flight almost every single person was completely wrapped in blankets and had hoods, sarees, and scarves wrapped around their heads. I had my 1 year old infant who already had a head cold that I feel was worsened by the cold dry air. I spent my first few days in Kolkata pretty sick. I know the cold air doesn’t cause the illness but it certainly worsened any stuffy nose I had into a full blown cold and chest congestion. I was VERY upset by the discomfort on this flight especially after having a wonderful flight with Emirates from New York to Dubai. I really felt like the crew did not care despite clear discomfort the passengers were feeling. It was incredible how visible the discomfort was yet nothing was done to fix the temperature. The freezing cold air kept blowing right on everyone theoughout the flight."

Nadelen: "The economy seats are not as comfortable as advertised. The breakfast was good, but the chicken dinner was bland."

Nadelen: "Not at all accommodating of dietary restrictions. It was a very long flight to not have any options for food, and crew acted very put out when we asked if there were any other options. Checked our carry on luggage for being "too heavy" in spite of the fact that it was the exact same luggage we carried on for the flight out which meets all necessary size restrictions. Boarding was very disorganized, no announcements were being made, flight attendants were simply holding up signs at chest level which were completely blocked by the crowd."
Nadelen: "Not a single thing. Emirates is terrific!"
Nadelen: "Entertainment system was older version than the flight to Dubai. Also less legroom in this model 777"
Voordelen: "Emirates is my carrier of choice, and that's due to their continued service standards, friendliness and rates. This flight was pretty empty so service was even better and I was able to spread myself out. Also, well done to the crew. They continue to maintain high standards."
Nadelen: "This is the first time it's happened to me, but I was scheduled to leave Oslo on Wednesday, but Emirates cancelled my flight and put me on the next one. It would have been alright had they offered some sort of compensation or made it up to me in one way or another, but that was not going to happen. They cancelled and the cost was on me (as per the T's & C's I was told) and that was pretty much that. Here's a hint, it seems like their Scandinavian flights are underperforming and in a cost saving effort, they're randomly cancelling flights. I subsequently found out they did it to someone else in the area causing them to miss two days of a pre-booked vacation. So, if they cancel, it's going to cost you a lot more in a city like Oslo to wait a day - not to mention the costs involved in missing work or vacation, so maybe shop around then. I still like Emirates, but I'm feeling a little burnt after this episode."
Voordelen: "The overall service was excellent as the flight left on time and the flight attendants were attentive. The food onboard was perhaps the best quality I have ever had on a flight."

Nadelen: "We moesten ons erg haasten vanwege vertraging van de eerste vlucht. Door ern beladingsfout had de vlucht ook nog erns bijna 3 uren vertraging. En dan blijkt ook nog eens dat onze koffers niet meegenomen zijn."
Voordelen: "Service prima. Eten voldoende. Entertainment ook voldoende keus."
Nadelen: "We vertrokken met vertraging. We konden maar net op tijd het boarden van de volgende vlucht halen."

Nadelen: "Checkin associate at SFO was rude and told me that only light baggage is allowed in the plane during borading noticed several passengers with larger bags and sometime two bas as well. I was told I can only take one bag. This caused me to change my plans on what I can carry on my two small bags. This is also the reason why had to take a small handbag to keep everything I needed. I lost this bag at New Delhi airport. Had I been allowed the the standard tote and a laptop bag I may not have needed the extra hand bag and may not have lost my items. Emirates associate is partailly responsible for my lost items."
Nadelen: "Food was not upto the mark. So many indians travel, do provide proper yummy indian food.!"
Voordelen: "The entertainment system had plenty of variety and choices."
Nadelen: "Very poor service, terrible food. Flight attendant spilled juice on me."
Voordelen: "Crew couldn't have been friendlier!"
Voordelen: "The new A380 flight is very comfortable. The leg room even in economy was great."
Nadelen: "The in flight crew service was absolutely terrible. I was shocked to receive this kind of service by Emirates. I did not receive any assistance by the crew members even after pressing the call button and waiting for over 20 mins. Finally I had to get up and help myself. This was not just once but twice in a single flight. One of the stewards serving my area seemed very curt. The food was also terrible. My chicken dish was cold and very dry. Even the side bread was like a rock. The coffee that was served after the meal was cold. This kind of service is unacceptable on a 16hr trans Atlantic flight. Overall very disappointed with Emirates."
