Over 3 hours of delay without any assistance from klm
Very cramped flight, overhead bins were all completely filled, and passengers had to fly with bags by their feet which was not very comfortable for me personally.
Wrote in the previous message. Poor. Delayed flight and lost working day. 4.5h together to rebook the flight, get the hotel voucher, get to the hotel and check in. Insanely slow.

This is NOT a review for SAS or Kayak. It's a review for their booking service Chat Deal. I booked a flight via Kayak thru Chat Deal on SAS. Chat Deal incorrectly put my business name on the ticket, picking it up from the credit card, instead of my name which I had properly filled out on their form and proofed it carefully at checkout. That took an act of God to correct. Then, unfortunately, I failed my Covid test and couldn't board the flight to Sweden from Maimi. SAS stated I had to go thru the booking service for credit. Chat Deal was horrible to deal with and offered no help. They said my only option was to re-book. The problem with that is my trip was for a business meeting. I have no reason to fly to Sweden again as this was a one-time thing. Chat Deal had no interest in trying to resolve my issue. They say phone calls are monitored for quality purposes? Then listen to my recorded calls and judge for yourself if you want to use them. I like Kayak as a search engine, but they should remove Chat Deal from their roster of booking providers. I suspect SAS is a fine airline, but they should remove Chat Deal as well. I should have read their reviews before booking through them. The writing was on the wall. My bad.
Voordelen: "I've flown SAS a few times and have always been favorably impressed with the service. On this flight we booked the "bare bones" fare and paid extra for checked bags and extra-legroom seats. The overall cost was still better than most other airlines."

Nadelen: "SAS never emailed the second boarding ticket and there was no agent at the gate to help me print one. I paid $20 days in advance for a front aisle seat (6E), but was boarded last (group H) and had to put my carry-on in aisle 26. The stewardess was very rude and seemed racist towards me."
Voordelen: "The flight attendants were very patient and attentive, the vegetarian meal was probably the best I’ve ever had on a flight. The plane was a little older so there was a (relatively) comfortable amount of seat room."
Nadelen: "Some entertainment option would be nice, but it was a European flight under 3 hours, so not much was expected."

Nadelen: "I intensely disliked the 3 hour delay in Copenhagen!!! And that SAS offered the passengers in transit a meal voucher of only 50 danish Kronas, which was just enough to buy a tall Starbucks coffee drink but not enough to eat anything at the airport!"

Voordelen: "SAS generally has better planes and more space than most airlines especially in economy class. Seats were comfortable, not too tight. Food was good. Most SAS planes are really nice and new. On this flight they had a problem and had to use one of their older planes. It was still pretty nice, but the entertainment system on the older plane was a little dated."

Nadelen: "Dinner and breakfast were terrible, especially for a long transatlantic flight. Attendants were curt. Movie selection was subpar compared to other airlines on similar flights I’ve taken."

Nadelen: "We couldn't check in online because we had an infant in arms. So we tried to check in there. There were 3 different terrible queues. One to use the machines, one to check bags and another for special situations. We tried the machines, didn't work. A rep told us to go to the special situations line. There was a rep there that was trying to prevent people to getting into the line because it was sooo long (1+ hr). So we tied the machines again. Didn't work. So we convinced the guy to let us in the special line. It was nuts. We waited as our flight got closer and closer. Right when it looked like we might make the flight, one of the TWO reps left. When we finally made it, they said we wouldn't make the flight. We rebooked and had to pay extra. WORST travel experience ever."
Nadelen: "When I checked in I was told I had no bag allowance and had to pay 70 euro to check my bag. I feel like this was very sketchy on kyaak's part since it must have been on the fine print. I will be more cautious next time. Sas was otherwise fine."

I couldn't use self-check-in for my bad because I was flying to America and for some reason, this meant I had to hand my suitcase to someone rather than just putting it on the conveyor belt. There were about 8 people ahead of me, and yet it took a solid hour of standing in line waiting to get to the counter. How it could possibly have been so insanely slow is beyond me. When it was finally my turn to submit my bag it literally took 30 seconds. And yet I had to wait an hour. Grade: F-"

We were told we could check in online but we only had 4 minute in which to do it. We were charged €150 for 5 people. The check in Sgent was sour faced as well. Once aboard the plane (a nice new aircraft) we found the stewardesses sour faced as well. Overall not impressed by air Baltic!"

The only solution that they can offer me was to travel from Riga to Moscow and than to Tel Aviv. It become 12 hours traveling across 4 countries ( we arrived form Stockholm) instead of 5 hours flight as it was supposed to! I'm not recommending to travel with that company it can not be trusted!"
Voordelen: "We arrived safely. Bilingual staff."
Nadelen: "The seats are worn and creek with every movement. There is very limited leg room even for someone who is short. When the person in front of you leans back it is impossible to reach your hand baggage or do anything but lay back in your seat. The landing was safe but not at all comfortable."
Voordelen: "The helpful ground person at check-in."
Nadelen: "This airline company looks a like person who is begging for money. First time in my life I paid for the luggage. 40 Euros!!! what for? Apparently Air Baltic has no clue about how to run a service business. Somebody has to teach them this naked reality: IN SERVICE BUSINESS YOUR CUSTOMERS ARE YOUR MAJOR MARKETING ASSETS! They don't even serve a glass of water, apparently they could not manage to integrate it in the ticket price. But they dare to get thirsty and unhappy customers on the plane. Anyways: This airline company is charging extra for luggage. And I could not see this anywhere when I was buying ticket online. If I knew I'd never buy the ticket from Airbaltic. "Not writing it clearly and visible at the time of ticket purchase" is certainly tricking and misleading us. This is a crime!"
Voordelen: "Boarding went well and crew was nice."
Nadelen: "The air conditioning was not working properly on the 3 hour flight which made it a bit sweaty and unfortable. The purchase of a cold beer was a must."
Voordelen: "Great airline with good airplanes and friendly staff. I was able to board the plane using my iPhone (e-ticket) from Copenhagen to Riga to Moscow."
Nadelen: "My flight was delayed, and I missed my connecting flight. Next flight was 8 hours later. They did put me on this flight but didn't give any assistance to help me with another connecting flight because it was a different company. Voucher for a cup of coffee didn't cover all the troubles I had to go through."
Nadelen: "paying for water!"

Voordelen: "They did provide a 6 euro food voucher once it was clear the flight was going to be over 2 hours late. The flight and land crew did their best to keep everyone calm under bad circumstances."
Nadelen: "Flight was just under 3 hours late (long enough to kill most of the day, but just under what is needed to pay compensation). First they said it was problems in Amsterdam, then problems with the plane, then traffic in Amsterdam. It was hard to tell what was true and what was avoiding penalties (it is possible that equipment issues caused them to lose their spot, and get caught in traffic delays). I hate that they charge 2.5 euros for water on the flight. Their carryon rules only allow us to take the smallest of bags (smaller than other airlines) but when I got on the plane, lots of people had medium sized carryons."
Nadelen: "A free cup of tea or coffee would have been nice on a flight almost 2 hours long"
Voordelen: "Very efficient, quick"
Nadelen: "After barely making too tight a connection, all food and beverage needed Euros or European credit card. My Visa wouldn't work. Finally after I broke down (blood sugar way too high) the stewardess gave me a glass of water. Never will I use the money grubbing airline again"

C'est RyanAir, rien d’exceptionnel.
Flight was on time. But it is often with Ryanair the loud communication about offers woke me up twice. On such early fight when passengers usually want to take some rest the loud information about current offers is not very welcomed.
Nadelen: "It is known that RyanAir is not the top class of comfort."
Voordelen: "The flight was on time"
Nadelen: "Lots of things should be better on Ryanair flights"

Voordelen: "Ryanair are thieves and they denied to board me because they said they do not accept my residence card (with which I travelled to Schengen countries before with other airlines) and their website do not mention that I cannot travel with this kind of residence card."
Nadelen: "If they conform European laws and treat their own employees better and stop making their own rules by distancing themselves from other airlines."

Nadelen: "We were traveling across Europe with no access to internet. We trued to check in night before from hotel, we had a week connection. Thought we will do it from airport just like the United States. However, due to long line, wemissed tbe two hour window and were charged 55 euro per person. There was 5 of us. Therewere 5 of us. We felt cheTed and scorged."

Voordelen: "V efficient airport. Got through quickly and no rushing due to size. V pleasant staff despite full plane. Nice flight path over by Ireland’s highest mountain range on the departure. Also nice sunset on right of plane. All on time"
Nadelen: "Maybe enough seats for everyone after security but obv right for space"

Voordelen: "Flight on-time, friendly to baby. Did not have food and no entertainment."
Nadelen: "Took long time to pick up baggage (could be an issue at BCN airport). Would be great to arrange seating (sit next to my wife) when seats are randomly picked up"
Nadelen: "We did not realize that we had to check in within a minimum of 2 hours before the flight or else you have to pay this ridiculous fee. They were unable to do anything us at the counter and we had to go to this separate line that was very line in order to pay this massive fee. Their emails were not clear on this policy at all and you should be able to do it at the Ryanair counter vs go to another line. It was very convoluted and not a great customer experience. I wish somebody warned me of this policy as we almost missed an entire day in Santorini."
Nadelen: "Vol retardé mais informé par Ryanair une fois arrivé à destination. Embarquement long, puis il a fallu attendre dehors et enfin plus d'une heure dans l'avion suite à une grève en France. Peu d'infos de la part de l'équipage et aucun geste de la part de Ryanair pour les désagréments. Et bien sûr, le manque de confort dans l'avion."
Nadelen: "Its such a rip off that one has to pay extra to sit with your felliw travelers"
Nadelen: "The agent. They charged me extra for not check-in online. Very bad company"
Voordelen: "Initial fare"
Nadelen: "Because of its wheels, my suitcase wouldn't fit their dimensions for gate check and they charged me 50 euros before boarding. They could have waived the suitcase through or offered to upgrade me to Priority, but they preferred to make an example of a passenger. They make you parade with your suitcase to the front of the line to "prove it." I will not fly on Ryanair again."
Nadelen: "Le fait que les bagages à main voyagent maintenant systématiquement en soute ... les coffres en cabine sont vides et on doit attendre son petit sac à l´arrivée, après les bagages enregistrés ... Cela me parait être un non sens complet et je ne vois même pas où serait leur intérêt financier !"
Nadelen: "Le confort le manque de place entre deux sièges Les repas ou boissons payantes L'atterrissage plutôt rude Embarquement long en plein froid"
Voordelen: "après un dégivrage au niveau des ailes, que je n'avais jamais vu, nous avons récupéré le petit retard occasionné très bien. On nous a proposé, gratuitement, au moment de l'embarquement de prendre en charge mon bagage. Merci Isabelle"
Nadelen: "Bonjour, je n'ai pas reçu mon appréciation sur l'aller 1h30 de retard annoncé puis 10mn après on nous appelle pour finalement nous faire attendre dans le couloir d'embarquement, je ne comprends pas pourquoi cordialement Isabelle"
Nadelen: "Le personnel ne sourit pas ! L'atterrissage était tellement atroce que des gens ont commencé à faire leur dernière prière. Enfin, un retard de 15min non justifié"

Voordelen: "Good airline food and beverage choices, great crew - as comfortable as any flight these days. Great value - would do again."
