The gate agents then allowed those who checked their rollaboards to board before Zone 1,which was fine. However, a bunch of people without gate check stickers on the rollaboards were also allowed to board before Zone 1, which was aggravating. There was a long delay on the tarmac, during which we had to pull back to the gate or to a maintenance area before we finally took off. When we arrived in Vegas there was no gate for us to pull into, which led to another long delay of an already long and delayed flight."

Nadelen: "Was not informed that checking in online is the only way to secure a seat. So, regardless of whether you book your tickets 3 months in advance or the day before, you're not actually guaranteed a seat unless you check in online. We weren't told this until we were at the airport and checked in there that we might not be able to get our pre-booked in advance flight because of over-booking from KLM. We then had to wait and see if there were seats available when boarding. Luckily, there were, but we were not sat together. Not the greatest start to our first holiday together as a couple. We were told that if there weren't seats available, they'd pay for us to get to another airport to fly out, which would have meant a huge delay on the only time off we'd get together this year and have to rearrange our pre-booked and pre-paid living arrangements for the week. All because there wasn't a lot of emphasis on the need to check in online before hand. You'd think if someone checked in at the airport, that would be more of a guarantee that they'd be flying with you that day, but apparently not. Definitely not impressed or happy with this part of the KLM experience. This is the only company that we've had this problem with, they should make it clearer that it is essential to check in online."

Ensuite reacheminement en bus ou taxi pour les plus chanceux. Sans qu’on nous donne le moindre repas. Pourtant atterrissage prévu initialement vers 11h. La il est 14h10 passé et le ventre vide et toujours sur la route entre Lyon et Genève."

Nadelen: "The seats lean too far back and are hard to get in and out of. There's very little space for anyone in the middle seats to move, much less climb out from. Oh, it was never clear to the passengers that anyone could get up and get drinks from up front during the flight."

Nadelen: "We ran a little behind; it would have been helpful for them to let us know they were running behind. Once you go through USA customs, there arent many options for refreshments or comfort. If I had known my flight would take off and hour and a half late, I would have been able to bide my time better."

Nadelen: "You have to pay for confirmed seats, and the seats are uncomfortable. No free beer or wine on international flight and the ticketing in Dublin was SUPER slow!"

Voordelen: "Prompt Rebooking. The new schedule was better the original schedule with fewer connections."
Nadelen: "My original flights from Dublin to London and London to Munich were cancelled. The booking agency Webjet did not inform me about the cancellation. I noticed changes to my schedule three days before the flight and requested a rebooking. The entire leg to Munich was rebooked by Webjet but again I had to call and ask for an update since they don't issue a second round of confirmation emails."

Voordelen: "I loved that the trip was relatively short and uneventful. The food was adequate, but nothing to brag about and very little. The hostesses were nice,better than last time. The price was right on, mostly for a trip of under 15 hours...when usually it is 20h with a stopover."
Nadelen: "On the way over, I couldnt get water. The trolley didn't come by, and I had to "leg-over" my sleeping neighbor to get a glass of water fo the back reserve. The TV wasn't working; the remote was dead. As it was a night flight, it didn't matter tt much for me, but it should've been working. The passengers could have been spread out better as there were completely empty middle rows. It would have helped with comfort."

Unfortunately, AerLingus still has that double pronged plugs and I wasn't able to use my personal set (actually, I could but sound would only work on one side). I'll definitely fly with them again, only next time I'll bring an attachment for me to be able to use my headphones."

Voordelen: "I haven't flown international in a while so enjoyed the free movies. The staff were good. We were given both pillows and blankets which was nice but kind of got in the way when not in use."
Nadelen: "Could have had better music choices. We are certain that when we booked the flight we chose seats but wasn't on any sites or emails we received. I really like an isle seat but did not have one."

Kayak reservation system leaves fliers defenseless to a barrage of changing schedules/gates and confirmation codes. An absolute mess that raises customer anxiety unnecessarily. I never was able to check-in successfully online. Thankfully Aer Lingus was ready to deal with this situation."

Voordelen: "From Brussels to Dublin, we had a good flight. The air hostess was attentive enough and the cabin comfort was excellent."
Nadelen: "That we can't even have a cup of coffee without having to pay 3 euros. I thought that was outrageous."

Voordelen: "Flights were smooth and on time. Boarding was fine. I could walk around. Restrooms were clean. The egg breakfast dish on flight from LAX to Dublin was yummy."
Nadelen: "The seats are too small. I'm 5'11 and had to have my legs in the aisle even though there was nothing under the seat in front of me. The sound system for movies and pilots was hard to understand - not clear. Aisles too narrow."

Nadelen: "1. Non disponibilité du Wi-Fi à bord de l'avion 2. Avion remplie à pleine capacité et ayant accepté des voyageurs avec plus de deux (2) bagages à main à bord 3. Aucun surclassement offert durant le vol tandis que la famille à côté de moi était malade 4. Ils ont perdus mon bagage à main alors que l'agence de bord m'avait promis de ne pas le perdre lorsque je lui ai demandé. Ils m'ont retiré mon bagage à main puisque ma petite valise que je transportais n'entrait pas sous le siège. L'agence de bord est parti avec mon bagage contentant tous mes médicaments, ma couverture et une partie de mes vêtements et c'est la dernière fois que j'ai vu ma valise. Lorsque je suis arrivé à Bruxelles, mon bagage à main qui fut placé en soute n'était pas à destination et j'ai pleuré toutes les larmes de ma vie."

Voordelen: "It appears that Air Canada is doing the correct thing for passengers who have reserved their seats in advance....after many years of not applying their written policy of making them board after business class/disabled passengers/passengers with young children, they have created Zone 2 boarding which permits passengers with reserved seating to board immediately after them, therefore guaranteeing them overhead bin space. As we all know, a lot of passengers board with much more than one carry-on, which is a plague when boarding."

Voordelen: "Exit seating with more leg room."
Nadelen: "No power plugs in a 4h+ flight is not acceptable. That should be standard for every passengers. Unclean seats. General abrasiveness from some of the staff."

Voordelen: "The flight boarded quickly and even though we were at the back of the line there was still overhead bin space for our carry on luggage. The in-flight entertainment worked well on our iPads (no need to rent one) and the stewards always had smiles on their faces. The flight left on time and landed a few minutes early which is a bonus when you are on vacation."

Nadelen: "Flight was delayed and no one knew why!... Plane had been sitting ready at the airport for hours. Novice flight attendants, they each picked on different things others missed just before them. No consistency, seats left reclined during takeoff and landing for example. One way there was drink service once even though it was a smooth flight and the return had drink service twice even though it was bumpier! Entertainment does NOT work on androids, it is NOT the AirCanada app they tell you to download prior to the flight, it's an AirCanadaRouge.pk file that needs to be downloaded in flight! Which means we're stuck paying for the iPad and of course only with cc because there's no wifi for debit cards.... AC needs to stop this insanely mediocre and yet expensive monopoly."

Nadelen: "Un WC hors d'usage. Le système de divertissement inopérant pour les films: téléchargement trèèèssss lent et interruptions. Impossible d'ecouter un film. Enfin, les,sièges sont inconfortables pour un trajet de près de 4'heures!"

Voordelen: "We had a trip planned for Las Vegas on the Wednesday following the sad and tragic shooting at the Mandalay Bay hotel. We were planning to be at the Luxor next door. Because of this proximity to the horrible scene we could not see completing this trip. The Air Canada staff understood and accommodated our need change plans. They arranged for us to fly directly home rather than to our planned stop in Las Vegas."

Voordelen: "No built in entertainment systems. YES PLEASE. Built entertainment systems take up room, sometimes have screens that can't be turned off, and some generate a lot of heat. So glad they were removed. The built in streaming service is a much better solution. Crew was fine."
Nadelen: "Seats are just ridiculously close. This makes boarding take longer. I don't think emergency evacuation is feasible. Have seats this close been tested for evacuations? Knees-touching-the-seat-in-front close. Taller people can't sit with legs straight in front. Eat before your flight."

Voordelen: "Food was good. Flight staff was pleasant."
Nadelen: "Boarding took forever. There was a child that screamed the entire way. Wish flight staff was trained on calming children, even though I know it was just bad planning on the parents. Also wish there was a hygiene policy. Half the flight was not wearing deodorant, and you could tell."

Nadelen: "Worst leg room I have ever seen and I fully over 20 + times a year!"

Voordelen: "Facilité à obtenir de l'eau, voyage doux, sans turbulence."
Nadelen: "Systeme de divertissement qui proposait belle variété plantsit souvent. Il a finalement été "rebooté" mais il était tard et cela a pris plus de 30 minutes."

Voordelen: "I appreciated that the plane left as scheduled, had plenty of legroom, and was attended by professional and gracious personnel."
Nadelen: "THe previous flight that we took, on June 20th, from Las Vegas to Toronto, was cancelled at the last minute. As we had a tightly-scheduled flight to Amsterdam, we missed that connection. There was no notification given prior to the cancellation, just suddenly came up on the monitors at McCarren Airport. No explanation was offered. THe flight that we were transferred to arrived in Toronto too late to get us onto our Amsterdam flight, and so Air Canada personnel gave us vouchers for food and tried to book us a hotel room. We were ferried to 3 hotels, and turned away at all of them, an dwound up sleeping on the flor of the kid's area at TOranto Airport. we finally got to Amsterdam a day late.and had our trip upgraded to business class for our trouble. I have no quarrel with the treatment that we received from Air Canada personel. THey were very patient and gracious, in spite of a number of irate passengers in the same situation that we were in. However, the failure to have accomodations for stranded travelers was exemplary of poor planning on the part of administration, not personnel. I am really torn as to whether or not to use Air Canada again. WHen it is good, it is very good, but when iit is bad, it is the worst that I've ever experienced."

Voordelen: "It's Vegas, what's not t like!"
Nadelen: "Plane ride home after 4 nights in Vegas..."

Voordelen: "Absolutely nothing."
Nadelen: "No flight attendant came during the entire course of the flight, even after I had pressed the button for one. One flight attendant was extremely hostile. Horrible experiencing flying to Vancouver from Vegas."

Screens are really annoying, most people don't know how to turn them off and they run advertisements all night long, nobody from the crew cares. Wifi app wouldn't stream anything on my phone. Im really sad that I will have to have the same night flight back to Houston."

Nadelen: "Siège pas assez large. Jouer du coude pendant 8hrs c'est pas amusant."

Nadelen: "Les sièges sont nuls (ergonomie douteuse). L'espace pour les jambes n'es pas convenable (trop étroite et la patte du siège avant oblige d'avoir une jambe de travers). Système d'information de la position de l'avion est nul (pas assez complet), peux pas savoir combien de temps il reste au vol."

Nadelen: "Took off an hour late from a gate all the way across the terminal from the assigned gate. Promised "free" Direct TV did not work and the Wi-Fi didn't either."

Nadelen: "Trop de délai itnutile. L'embarquement a été décalé de 5h! Le WIFI est payant à Chicago et la bouffe coûte chère pour de la mauvaise qualité. Le retard est du parce qu'il n'y avait pas d'avion, personne nous dit pourquoi. Finalement, on embarque et apres avoir attendu 30 min, on nous désembarque parce que l'Avion n'était pas prêt, l'équipe d'entretien n'était pas disponible! finalement, on rembarque pour de bon mais on a attendu un autre 30 min sans nous dire pourquoi. L'équipage fait comme si tout était normal mais on voit par la fenêtre qu'il y un camion de service qui essait de réparer de quoi derrière l'avion. On nous fait embarquer alors que rien n'est prêt. La personne qui s'occupait des baggages a pris 20 minutes apres notre embarquement avant de s'amener. C'était extrêment désorganisé."

Nadelen: "Je n'ai pas aimé être forcé d'acheter un billet de retour au québec lorsque je ne sais pas quel date je vais revenir. On ne me laissait pas prendre l'Avion sinon. L'information dites par l'employé cest avéré fausse, car une fois au Nicaragua on ne ma pas demande un billet de sortie. Une chance que j'Ai pu le canceller à l'intérieur de 24h. Sinon jai été satisfait du service."

Nadelen: "Je suis arrivé 13 minutes avant le decolage et lequipage na pas voulu me laisser monter dans lavion. J'ai du prendre un vol trois heures plus tard pour fort lauderdale alors que mon pere etait hospitalisé a miami. Personnel tres peu comprehensif une femme a même rit de moi lorsque j'ai dit que mon père avait eu un accident. Cependant le vol etait etait avec air canada et non united"

Voordelen: "- The plane was ultra modern and extremely comfortable (and not full). - We did a Washington-Paris in less than 6 hours. Tail winds helped, but also the timeliness of the process (boarding, baggage recuperation, etc). - Food was excellent although not a lot (the General Tso Chicken was very very nice, the icecream as dessert was good) - Great movie selection"
Nadelen: "- Breakfast was so so. - Free headphones offered are not great. - Not much, all the rest was good!"

Nadelen: "2 hours late. No food included no device for movies and my carry on was checked in"

Voordelen: "Je n ai jamais pris air canada ni à l aller ni au retour . Les avions ont été annulés , je n ai pas été prévenu et ils m ont mis sur d autres compagnies . Un enfer"
