Voordelen: "I have flown Turkish Air many times for the past 8 years and they are a solid airline. They have very good food for airplane food, and a decent entertainment center."
Nadelen: "Unfortunately they have moved away from their Exonomy Plus seats that were great and ample room, whereas now their seating in exonomy is very cramped. They also used to have nice amenities on long international flights like a hot towel and some Turkish Delight before takeoff and landing, but they no longer have that. And my biggest complaint is that they keep their planes unbearably hot most ost of the time. It’s by far the most frustrating thing when your cramped in their tiny spaces for 11 hours."

Nadelen: "There simply is not enough room for such a long flight. I havent Flown in a while and was surprised at how tight the seats were since i last flew - both flying from the US to Istanbul and vice versa. However, for the shorter two hour connecting flights, from Istanbul to Tel Aviv, the seats seemed to have more room. This does not make sense."

Nadelen: "After returning home I found items had been stolen from my luggage. Specifically about half of the items in my first aid kit were taken. Total cost of replacement will be approx $30."

Nadelen: "Trying to reclaim our laptops at the end of the trip was a nightmare. They confiscated all electronic devices larger than a cellphone due to new Trump regulations (not their fault). Fine. But they were so disorganized about the process. When trying to reclaim the devices after the flight utter chaos ensued. That was their fault. Passengers were on the verge of violence and it could have been avoided by simply being more organized."

Voordelen: "Our 11.5 hour flight took 16 hours due to weather in Chicago. We were forced to land in Detroit for over 2 hours. The crew smiled while they answered questions and dealt with some very difficult passengers. The food was Turkish, but very tasty and in large portions. The entertainment included several movies that had just recently been released to DVD. Overall it was great service."
Nadelen: "The communication was not what it should have been. While in Detroit, we were often left for extended periods of time with no update or information as to when we would be able to complete our flight. I realize they were at the mercy of O'Hare, but they should have made some announcement every 15 minutes or so just to "keep us posted" if nothing else. Also, there was quite a bit of confusion for passengers whose final destination was Detroit. I had to explain to the Flight Attendant that they needed to explain to the passengers why they couldn't deplane there. She phoned the pilot and he provided an appropriate explanation. This really my only complaint."

Nadelen: "Airport is a little crowded. No one follow the lanes as supposed to be. Airport authorities need to educate people so that passengers do not bypass other passengers. Overall an excellent experience."

Nadelen: "First let me tell you that when I booked a flight to Istanbul from Brussels, I booked, so I thought, the airport called Istanbul Ataturk with the initials of IST. What I got was SAW after I paid for a booking that said IST. Sabina Gokcen is one hour away further on the Asian side of Turkey. I did not want this airport! There was nothing I could do about this but bite the bullet & accept what I got since I was not allowed to have any corrections made after paying for this ticket. I am highly disappointed with Kayak. The first time you have disappointed me greatly!"

Nadelen: "We missed our flight from Istanbul to New York. The gate was changed while we were waiting at the assigned gate. No announcements were made about the gate change. We ended up stranded in Istanbul. The Turkish Airlines representatives were very rude and not helpful at all. They told me that we needed to purchase new tickets. My 14 year old and I were in Istanbul, Turkey with no way home. After hours on the phone with their customer service and many repeated phone calls and many collect phone calls to the United States, my mother was finally able to secure new plane tickets for $2000 one way for us to return to the states. We were in the airport for 24 hours before we could board a flight to make our way home. A few days after we arrived back is when the terrorist attacks occurred. I have been plagued with flashbacks of our time in the Istanbul airport. I feel that Turkish Airlines could have done a better job at trying to accommodate us in a time of desperation. I have been reluctant to contact them upon my return and a friend offered to call on my behalf and was treated in the same disrespectful manner. I would hate to think that Turkish Airlines could be representative of the people of Turkey. I can't imagine that Turkey or the citizens of this beautiful country could treat visitors in such a fashion. I appreciate your time in reading about our personal and devastating experiences during our trip that was to have been the trip of a lifetime with my son."

Nadelen: "Temperature in the plane was about 40 degrees Celsius with no explanation. We needed better air flow and more water. Staff was a little bit cranky. There were no headphone adapters for the in-seat headphone jacks, only poor-quality, ill-fitting headphone sets. Boarding was chaotic and took way too long, delaying our departure."

I had to "create" of sort of barrier between the two of us with a couple of pillows. A lady sitting in the row in front of me - a 50-something y/o woman with husband and 3 kids keep on reclining her seat to the point that I was barely a couple of inches from the top of her head, even as I was eating. I had to forcefully push back ti get some room."

Voordelen: "It's okay but they doesn't have good service about the luggage I'm coming from overseas I have two luggage and they charged me for one luggage to charge me."

Nadelen: "My son has a DPNA for traveling - none of the airline staff was aware of it or what it even means. Traveling with children with disabilities is hard enough, airline and ground staff should not make it more difficult."

Voordelen: "I didn’t"
Nadelen: "I was a business class passenger and the flight might as well have been economy, with the exception of the food. There was no personal entertainment, the seat foot rest did not work — it was an old plane — the seats recline all the back to the lap of the person behind you — so when the guy in front of me was done eating he proceeded to lay back — however I wasn’t done eating — and it knocked over my glass of sparkling water —- typically even if a passenger is still eating there is still room for the person to lay back — I had to push the persons seat quickly before my whole tray was wrecked."

Nadelen: "The flight attendants did not keep the children and their seats they let them run around as we taxied the airport until one fell and had their head. Then they would not insist on them to stay in in their seats even on take off."

Voordelen: "Crew good and friendly"
Nadelen: "Very old fleet from Muscat to Kuala Lumpur. The entertainment very limited compared to Emirate Airlines"

Nadelen: "Hi flight Manchester to Muscat was good . Air craft Muscat to lahore was too old and very small . The main thing happed no baggage arrived they have lost it or will arrive after 2 / 3 days ... please help to find out my baggage."

Voordelen: "Seat were amazing ,plane was clean"
Nadelen: "Train your staff to be more polite and smiley"

Nadelen: "The connection time between these two flights that you sell as a package is not enough. It is a 30 Min journey to do in a 45 min transfer, and the gate closes 30 mins before departure. Then if you’re first plane is delayed even by ten minutes (as mine was) you are more unable to catch your flight"

Nadelen: "Business class should hv full flat beds"

Voordelen: "Nothing as such"
Nadelen: "Air condition was very low"

Voordelen: "Got 3 seats so I could sleep"

Voordelen: "New Muscat terminal is lovely. service very attentive and food v. Nice."

Voordelen: "Impossible to enjoy a flight you didn't choose and were forced to fly on due to a schedule change, especially when the flights you'd booked had much better timing for a fixed teacher's holiday schedule. Avoid Oman Air unless you are sadistic and enjoy forced flight changes and no compensation. As I was forced to change to a flight to one arriving at 03.10 with my work starting at 06.00, I tried (and failed due to a lack of space and fidgety neighbour) to sleep all the flight to be fresh and professional for my work. The booked flight which was forcibly cancelled got me home 9pm the night before work. Oman Air refused a suggestion to upgrade me to business class so I could try and sleep."
Nadelen: "I am a teacher. I can't choose my holiday times. I get three fixed weeks in summer. In both 2017 + 2018 Oman Air changed their schedule forcing me to change my flights. I was out of pocket for a small amount - they refused to pay the $27.60. I was to arrive home at 9pm for an 06.00 start to work they changed my flight so I arrived at 04.00. I asked for an upgrade to business class to try and sleep. They ignored the request. They instead sent me a copy of the small print saying that they were allowed to change anyone's flights and give zero compensation if the 'client' is informed two weeks in advance. I will avoid Oman Air from now on, even if they seem to offer the best times to fly."

Nadelen: "Poor service Not adhering to time Very bad air conditioning"

Nadelen: "First time in my life that the airplane food was cold. There also was no in flight entertainment."

Voordelen: "Decent entertainment system and choices."
Nadelen: "Poor quality headphones - jacks are often messed up make sure you have your own. Got food poisoning on Muscat to Paris flight - other than that the food tended to be quite bland. Need to give out more water on flight to combat dehydration as well. Stopping in Muscat's terminal was like a time warp back to a 1970s mall. Also no direct connection to terminal, planes park out on tarmac and take people on 1 km bus ride to connect to terminal. Legroom was pretty tight but not horrid Crew making announcements on landing were unprofessional, heard co-pilot or steward laughing in the background - while captain droned on in Arabic - this does not engender confidence in their ability to fly the plane!"

Voordelen: "Quick boarding and disembarking. Polite crew members."
Nadelen: "One bathroom was out of order so there were often long waiting times. Nor were the bathroom engagement lights working so it appeared to be vacant when it was occupied. Food and announcements were too frequent for a late night flight - only 2 hours to sleep on a 6 hour overnight flight."

Voordelen: "Oman Business lounges good in Bkk also"
Nadelen: "Seats in business were ok but do not offer the position options that most airlines offer in Business."

Voordelen: "Nice service"
Nadelen: "Poor amenity kit and not as good as the usual oman Air lie flat seat"

Nadelen: "Always delay Food is below standard ( taking in consideration the ticket price) Crew depend on your luck some times a very helpful crew and some times it's almost like they have a personal grudge on you"

Nadelen: "My return journey was also not accepted and forced to book another ticket at Zurich airport which is unfair Please check with airlines and reimburse my money I will send all details in due course Please call or contact me on top priority."

Nadelen: "The boarding was cancelled due to 5 hrs before visa arrival time and forcefully called no show."

Voordelen: "Excelleng servive"

Nadelen: "We were told our luggage will be on the ramp but we had to wait at the luggage carousel. Our landing was very rough and alarming."

Nadelen: "Very delayed. Would not put us on a direct flight."

Nadelen: "space of Place of departure area and the waiting places are very crowded there were people sitting on the ground and also delay in flying."

Voordelen: "Better options in A/V meal"

Voordelen: "The aircrafts are good and comfortable, food is acceptable and air crew is curtious"
Nadelen: "The tickets issued to us specified that we were allowed 2 pieces of checked luggage each piece max of 23 Kg. The check in staff refused to accept the baggage allowance as was shown in the ticket . They insisted that the agent issued the ticket wrongly and they will only allow 2 pieces weighing total 30 kg. It was embarrassing as we had brought luggage as per tickets issued. IF THE AGENT APPOINTED BY OMAN AIR HAD ISSUED A WRONG TICKET, IT IS THE PRINCIPAL WHO IS RESPONSIBLE WHICH IN THIS CASE IS OMAN AIR. IT WAS A BAD EXPERIENCE AND OMAN AIR HAS TO COMPENSATE. The entertainment screens did not work for quite some time."

Voordelen: "Nice Service. On ground is ok. At least people are not rude. In flight is also ok. Nothing special. That's ok for me as long as they are not rude or obnoxious."
Nadelen: "Entertainment options are limited. This is such a short flight I normally watch series. Their selection is not the best. Boarding in Muscat Airport is always a mess."

Voordelen: "The same... good flight"

Nadelen: "I bought expensive souvenirs from Kathmandu duty free and they refused to me at boarding gate that it's heavy, after long explanation they took my bag and said that I'd collect it at Abu Dhabi airport but never put it on flight even. Supervisor was extremely unreasonable and was not willing to understand that weight issue doesn't apply on duty free shopping."

Voordelen: "Food good, film selection enjoyable, staff very pleasant - great value for money. We went half-way around the world at 10,000m!!"
Nadelen: "Just the regular plane things - nothing specially"

Voordelen: "Hospitality and efficiency."
Nadelen: "There could be a drinks trolley at the back to help yourself"

Voordelen: "It is worth it to pay a little more for exit seats. They were very comfortable. The agents at checkin were very helpful. I came with a backpack, a roller bag I often can carry on and another bag to check.The bag allowance was just one to check. They wouldn't let me carry on my roller bag because it was too heavy. They encouraged me first to rearrange the luggage to make the one light enough to carry on, by putting some in the other bag that was being checked, But I explained that bag was already full. So they urged me to get my two bags wrapped together so that there would not be an extra bag charge. The ticket agent also came out to look for me---I hadn't realized they boarded so early---and walked with me to the gate. That was very nice of them. There were snacks and beverages on both flights and friendly stewardesses, and lots of movies to choose from."
Nadelen: "The second flight I didn't get the exit seats and was a bit cramped, but that was a shorter flight, so it didn't matter much."

Voordelen: "The price was great and the service and planes were adequate for a relatively short flight."

Voordelen: "-Muscat airport must have aero-bridge -the crew is apologetic to serve alcoholic beverages-sneaked in wine bottle 15 minutes before descent/touchdown; emirates etihad have no qualms openly and freely serving alcohol in international flights. -leg space is cramped. -did not announce baggage belt -did not inform ambient temperature and other weather details"

Voordelen: "Movies"

Nadelen: "Pretty much evevrything"

Voordelen: "Most comfortable seats on the sector Lahore to Muscat, flat beds. Lounge arrangement at Muscat airport was very comfortable given that I had a long layover. Food served was mostly good and the attending crew were quite courteous!"
Nadelen: "No new movies on the entertainment system with limited choice."

Voordelen: "The good thing was that my bags arrived quickly to the baggage carousel."
Nadelen: "The entertainment console did not work on the flight out."
