Flight crew was pleasant and fine. After learning it was Brussels airlines I went through their check-in process for families and requested kid-friendly meals, but nothing came of it. Slightly disappointed."

They shut down the airport in Frankfurt so we couldn't take off at our destination and when they allowed us to fly into Frankfurt, Lufthansa didn't wait and hundreds of people were stranded from different areas because of the closed airport to all flights. We waited 5 hours to rebook a destination back to the USA and traveling lasted 24hours. Right now I'm not sure if I'll be refunded my tickets for thedomestic airline flight. WE will NEVER want to fly out of Frankfurt and especially with Lufthansa. I have to say the people at the service counters were very nice and helpful but it took 5 hours to get serviced and were missed 2 possible connecting flights. Lufthansa was a good airline but that was 20 years ago. The airport is too big now has too many delays so I'll avoid it at all cost."

Nadelen: "Service was poor and seats were uncomfortable. There were only 4 flight attendants for the entire flight. It took over an hour for our food to be served after we received our drinks. The food was not good at all. The movie options were not the best either. Also, it was so hot during the entire flight especially once we landed and taxied for 30 minutes. I flew SAS to Europe and really enjoyed my flight but this experience makes me never want to fly SAS again!"

Nadelen: "Had to pay for wifi in coach for internet access. It was dropping routinely, dial-up slow, and very frustrating. The food was on par with other airlines, minus the vegetable turnover. That was a bit odd. What was shocking to me, is that no alcohol of any kind was complimentary in coach."

Nadelen: "Series of unfortunate events: 1. No air vents in seats. Plane was very warm the entire flight. My husband and I spent 6+ hours sweating in our seats. 2. Dinner was not served until 9:30/10PM. By the time we received our food in the back, it was cold. 3. For guests who wanted to sleep during the red eye, the lights were not turned off until after dinner and cleanup, which meant only 2 or so hours of sleep in dark."

Nadelen: "Worst experience ever. We waited on the tarmac for almost 4 hours, due a technical problem. Finally, they gave up attempting to solve the problem (at 3.30AM), and we disembarked. No assistance at all. No hotel. No meals. Rescheduling was a lengthy process. Staff was rude. Really a nightmare of an experience. Note to self: never ever fly again with SAS."

When I got to the airport SAS said I had not paid for a ticket that included one checked through bag. I am very upset with this. Solution I will NEVER book through Kayak or priceline again..."
Nadelen: "My first flight was canceled. I'm still in Barcelona."
Nadelen: "Terrible service and they lost my sons car seat. Ruining my whole vacation here since we can't drive anywhere."

Nadelen: "Boarding... the first 20 or so rows were called then "All remaining passengers..." causing considerable pushing, etc. MUST board by sections, etc..."

Nadelen: "Had to pay 70 euro to check 1 bag at the airport!"
Voordelen: "Flight was on-time, fast, efficient boarding, on-time arrival."
Nadelen: "SAS is really running down quality of service. An old bird that was showing its age and interior wear. No in-flight entertainment options. Food / beverage options are not on par with expectations or other airlines. Only no-cost drink options are coffee or tea. Juice, soda, water - all for a fee. Snacks available for sale include potato chips and nuts. It's 2017 folks - up your game!"

Voordelen: "US Customs and Immigration pre-clearance in Dublin allowed me to avoid filling out a landing card and dealing with long immigration lines at JFK. Very good selection of films and TV shows via on board entertainment system. Food decent."
Nadelen: "Selection of amenities at Dublin Airport in the US pre-clearance area is poor."
Voordelen: "In flight entertainment was very good. Flight attendants helpful. Seats hard but we had ample leg room on this flight. I would like to commend the pilot for landing us safely in some extremely windy conditions. Everyone on the plane was audiably nervous and he did well"
Nadelen: "Checking in was not pleasant they seated me in row 20 something and my wife in row 40 something even though the plane was half empty. Distressing at first. When I asked why they told me to sort my seating out in the plane. Now that's telling. Whoever checked me in could see there were lots off empty seats and couldn't take the time to seat my wife and I together. Hmmm. Terminal at Dublin was small and over crowded. There was 1 agent at the gate checking in everyone on this flight for about 10 minutes until she finally got some help. You must do better"
Voordelen: "Air Lingus is my new preferred carrier, thanks to you! They combine newest technology with traditional service values."
Nadelen: "Nothing. Perfect flights. I went back to the crew and told them so. Compared to my BA flights eastbound, Air Lingus was heaven. I will always book them first from now on, and I just happened on to them through your site."
Voordelen: "Very easy transit at Dublin. Staff very friendly and helpful. Immigration at Dublin for UK and for USA works great. One doesn’t have to wait in line for hours to get immigration and customs clearance at the destination after a long flight."
Voordelen: "The flights themselves were nice. Food was fine. Flight attendants were helpful"
Nadelen: "Getting to our connection was awful. Prescreening getting into the US was terrible. Got selected for special screening and the officers said the gate knew we were held up there. Only had one hour to reach connection. Lost an immense amount of time getting swabbed and patted down. The gate was closed when we arrived. Had to run to the gate. By accident we found out the gate was closed from someone who happened to hear word that we were looking for the gate to JFK. Almost didn’t get on the flight. If we didn’t run who knows if we would have made it. If you are only giving people an hour to get to their connection, then don’t let them get held up for 40 minutes. It’s idiotic."

Voordelen: "Aer Lingus does a fantastic job with everything. They are fast and efficient and super hospitable."
Nadelen: "I always wish I had a bit more room."
Voordelen: "The mechanical issue with flaps was fixed - glad to arrive home safely."
Nadelen: "Flight was delayed three hours due to a mechanical poblem . We were offered one free drink."

Nadelen: "Boarding was comical. This was the one place in the airport where there is no attempt to establish a queue area. I don't get it. Plane audio for pilot and crew announcements was poor. Nobody could hear what was being announced. Entertainment audio was very poor - which on a long flight can make a big difference. Even tried my own earbuds and it did not help."
Voordelen: "The charm and warmth of the Aer Lingus hostesses make them the best in the world !"
Nadelen: "Arriving at JFK and there was no gate for us . We drove around for 3 hours before we could disembark. Why is JFK such a mess ?"
Voordelen: "Service, friendliness. The cabin crew seemed like truly genuine, nice people."
Nadelen: "The food was pretty poor (I had the chicken) and the seats weren't roomy enough. The service video at the beginning was very utilitarian. (3 on a scale of 1-10, where Air New Zealand is a 10.)"
Voordelen: "Boarding Gate crew were good."
Nadelen: "Seat cushions are worn out. Need new foam. Hostesses spent more time talking to each other during food and beverage service than to the passenger."
Voordelen: "I loved that the trip was relatively short and uneventful. The food was adequate, but nothing to brag about and very little. The hostesses were nice,better than last time. The price was right on, mostly for a trip of under 15 hours...when usually it is 20h with a stopover."
Nadelen: "On the way over, I couldnt get water. The trolley didn't come by, and I had to "leg-over" my sleeping neighbor to get a glass of water fo the back reserve. The TV wasn't working; the remote was dead. As it was a night flight, it didn't matter tt much for me, but it should've been working. The passengers could have been spread out better as there were completely empty middle rows. It would have helped with comfort."

Nadelen: "It was the first of the month, so the movies were the old ones and didn't match the ones listed in the in flight magazine. That was the only mild disappointment. Everything else was great!"
Voordelen: "The seats were comfortable, the crew was friendly and the food was okay."
Nadelen: "The entertainment system wasn't great. The earphones quality was quite bad and felt really uncomfortable. Unfortunately, AerLingus still has that double pronged plugs and I wasn't able to use my personal set (actually, I could but sound would only work on one side). I'll definitely fly with them again, only next time I'll bring an attachment for me to be able to use my headphones."

Nadelen: "I didn't like the fact that the person sitting behind me kept using his knees to make my ride uncomfortable because I reclined my seat too much. Instead of talking, he was rude in action. The stewardess did tell him that I had a right to recline when he motioned to her. I think the seats shouldn't be allowed to recline so much even though it is more comfortable for a long ride. The screen is very close to one's face when the passenger in front reclines all the way. The airport didn't have any compatible charging ports for iphones from the USA. But the plane had them. That's good. It would be good if mobile check-in boarding passes were acceptable."
Voordelen: "I had not pre-ordered a vegetarian meal, and there were no extras, but one of the flight attendants gave me a fruit salad from one of the crew's meals."
Nadelen: "The sound quality for the announcement system and the headphones was really bad, so I could never understand what anyone was saying. The crew is very formal and sometimes curt and borderline rude. They just seem very inflexible and seem to put rules before people."

Nadelen: "The extremely rude ticket agent at the Venice airport that threw my boarding pass at me, even though I was following her explicit instructions. 50 characters isn't enough to explain what happened"

Nadelen: "Be very aware of your seats proximity to the restrooms. I paid for the extra legroom seat that turned out to be where everyone waiting for the restroom stood. I felt very bad for the passenger who was seated directly across the aisle from the restroom door."
Voordelen: "Very helpful and exceptional in flight staff. Ground crew helped us through customs very quickly and made flight transfer very easy."

In my experience when random additional check is required it is done at security checkpoint, never at the gate."
Voordelen: "Despite being standard economy class, the seats were comfortable, the packed plan didn't feel terribly packed, and the food was surprisingly decent. Boarding was quick and easy, and there was plenty of overhead luggage space. The roughly 8 hour flight from Dublin to JFK was much more pleasant than I had expected."

When we landed we couldn't go anywhere because it took 20 minutes to get a paramedic on board for another traveler."

Voordelen: "Our return trip from Shannon to JFK was the best flying experience we have ever had. I requested an aisle seat for my 6'5" husband and we were given the emergency aisle. The flight crew was outstanding- Ashley and Hazel could not have been nicer to us. My TV set was broken in my seat but I did not care as I had a lot of reading to do. It was an outstanding return trip from a wonderful time in Ireland"

Nadelen: "We missed our connection and british had booked us automatically on the next available flight which was helpful. However--- we paid to pick our seats and we got stuck in both middle seats. I also got skipped on the first round of beverage service. The entire crew was congregated in the middle part and when they finally made their way back to the cabin for trash I asked the flight attendant if I could please get a beverage as I was skipped. He said yes let me gather this trash and ill be back. He never returned. Then everyone was served their meals and I then was also skipped. Flight crew congregated again in the middle and my sister and I had to wave our hands up in the air to grab anyone's attention so I could get my meal. At that point they were out of the vegetarian option and I got a small oh we didn't mean to skip you comment. Pretty disappointed with this flight."

Pouvez-vous vérifier et a l avenir être plus clair sur nos droits ou non aux bagages en soute ainsi que le prix du bagage sur votre site si vous le proposer et le prix au guichet . Cela augmente significativement le prix du billet donc mérite de nous informer clairement et complètement. Merci de votre compréhension et de votre réponse."

We sat at the gate for almost an hour before departing with announcements at that time solely in a Portuguese - on a flight going to New York."

Nadelen: "TAP Airlines stranded us in Lisbon. They were late flying us from Vienna to Lisbon and then canceled our seats on our connection to JFK. Instead, they rebooked us on the next day's flight a full 24 hours after, refusing to rebook us on earlier flights on other carriers. Their customer service was as bad as I've ever experienced. Multiple agents admitted their company is terrible and doesn't care about its customers. The indifference to our situation was surreal. Lesson learned."

The luggage restrictions were never shown previously. Will never fly TAP Portugal again."
