Nadelen: "A flight attendant was impatient with children, cranky and rude. Other members of the crew were very friendly and let my son check the second floor and cockpit. There was only one choose of main course."

Voordelen: "It could be better, the flight attendance one of them was overwhelmed and I could feel her attitude, although she made an accidental movement on my foot she never apologized. And her eye contact was very aggressive as if she would use words. I tried to save the moment, and avoided all further interactions. Not even to look at her, or accept even a single glass of water. She did past through my area and again she was stocked with her cart, and she thought is was my foot again. When she realized that this time was not my foot, (which in the first time it was and she kicked my knee with the speed of her movement and I was not aware to save the moment) nevertheless, the second time and for the rest of my trip I was so careful that it did not happen again. But it happened one more time, but not with my foot. although she thought it was me. She looked at me again with a very bitter-eye but when she realized that the problem was not me she looked at another way acting as if she didnot understand what was going through her mind or my mind."
Nadelen: "The attidute is what I try not to get involved. I am on the air, traveling, and I don't like to experience any negative feelings from no one. I am consciously aware not to give any reasons for any form of unacceptable behaviors either with or without evidence. I WILL NOT EVER AGAIN, travel with LUFTHANSA just because of the way they treated me in my case which I travel always with my emotional pet, and this time they gave me a hardship and I had to travel without Logan. and additionally to this, I had to accept that flight attendance wordless aggressive behavior. Which in my opinion, I believe she could say I am sorry, and not looking at me as her worse enemy. Madness. She honestly needs a psychological evaluation."

Nadelen: "Things I don't like: 1. My seat was the 1st-row aisle seat. OMG, the seat is extremely small, my legs were very very uncomfortable. I would rather sit another regular seat instead of the 1st-row aisle seat. Usually, I sleep on the plane during whole flight, but this time I could not sleep at all. 2. There was a curtain which separates the business class and economic class. As the 1st point, my seat was the 1st-row aisle seat, so the curtain hit me every time the crew went through the curtain, which is extremely annoying. 3. The Entertainment screen is so difficult to use, either hard to touch or so slow."

Nadelen: "Our departure was severely delayed due to airport and aircraft crew errors. This meant that I missed my connecting flight in Munich, had to endure an extended lay over, board an extra flight to Budapest and endure an even more unbearable lay over there before being able to reach my final destination in Athens. I paid for a one-stop flight and have ended up having to endure a two-stop flight with extended lay overs. I feel completely cheated out of my money and overall have had a terrible experience."

Nadelen: "Dirty plane, apparently not cleaned from the previous flight, since there were crumbs everywhere on the floor.... Unfriendly crew, non accommodating, not helpful, or not even following on questions/ requests from passengers. I don't expect a luxurious meal for an economy class ticket, but the food could have been better ( and it is - with other airlines). Some fresher bread - and more eatable - would have been very good. The movie selection was poor - only old, badly rated movies. I know it can be way better than this - with other airlines. Overall I was unpleasantly surprised - very surprised."

Voordelen: "Due to a hurricane, I actually missed my original flight date, but Aer Lingus allowed me to rebook (2 days later!) at no cost, which was really great of them. Absolutely no wait at check-in and very good service there. Got window seats on both legs of flight, with no one in my row. Meals on first flight leg were very good. Crew did a good job and made me confident of their work. Both flight legs arrived early. Everything went well. Very good airline - I will certainly fly with them again."
Nadelen: "It seems that there was no snack or beverage on the second leg of flight (ca. 3 hours), but I probably just slept through it. Price seemed high for this route and season, but it was much better than any other airline: flying has become expensive in the COVID era. But Aer Lingus keeps us moving ahead. Great job!"

Nadelen: "The flight was canceled hours before departure. I waited for 30 minutes on hold to see if I could get on a different flight. But they couldn’t get me to my destination for 2-3 days after my originally-scheduled arrival."

Still no update on the present whereabout of the bag"

The entertainment was excellent, however the screen lit up repeatedly for announcements about an offer of connectivity while we were all trying to sleep. Those who had wished to avail of it had probably done so long before. It was quite annoying and intrusive."

By the time I was able to check in all that was left was a middle seat. I asked about upgrades and was told I would need to pay full price for one of those tickets. The seats are veryyy cramped, the entertainment system was outdated, the food was gross and wine was expensive."

Nadelen: "This was the first time in my life that an airline lost my luggage. I finally got it back 2 days later but it was a very stressful experience."

Voordelen: "Everything was basic. I got an old plane so everything wasn't up to date"
Nadelen: "It was slow in taking off, not sure why but the plane was taxi'd for a long time. In-flight system and variety was lacking. Audio was poor. It did the job taking me to my destination but the great."

Nadelen: "Took very long to retrieve checked luggage....from time we landed - to deplane, secure luggage, tram to long term parking and leaving lot took over 1 hour. Most of the time was waiting for luggage on turnstile...."

Nadelen: "La barrière de départ n’a pas été indiquée sur les écrans électroniques, et comme nous nous étions enregistrés en ligne et que nous attendions au salon où les vols ne sont pas annoncés, nous sommes arrivés tard à l’embarquement et avons presque manqué notre vol. À bord, le personnel a fait le nécessaire mais pas plus, service peu chaleureux et minimaliste. Le débarquement s’est fait avec une navette, comme à Mirabel dans le temps, et comme il n’y avait qu’une seule navette à la porte arrière, le processus a êté laborieux."

Nadelen: "cramped seats-- but MOST IMPORTANLY HUGE surprise that there was a $ 95.00 charge for each checked bag. This was not stated anywhere clearly that this was an extra charge that had to be paid and therefore made the not so expensive ticket much more expensive in the end. It cost 400 dollars more and I think that is outrageous that this was not told by anyone until the flight itself. I fell Kayak owes usan explanation and money back ."

Nadelen: "Food and alcohol and headphones weren't free. The movies were very old."

Voordelen: "There were so many things wrong with our flight from Gatwick to NYC. The check in staff were rude and homophobic at check in, forcing my partner and I to separate for check in while we watched heterosexual partners check in together freely. The disabled toilet alarm broke as we descended into NYC and we listened to end-of-the-world death sirens as we were landing. It was not communicates that food was a microtransaction on flight and was so overpriced so we went nearly 13 hours without food because the flights were also delayed on the tarmac. The de-icing tow truck in Iceland was broken down so we were delayed two hours on the layover. On return, both Icelandair gates opened late. During the layover we were kettled in hot container units before 20 min before being bussed to the plane and held for 15 minutes. Then, the icing on the cake was landing back at Gatwick and seeing my brand new luggage I bought on the trip damaged with thr back pocked ripped out along the bottom seam. I will never again ride with these rude, price-gouging, apathetic amateurs."

Nadelen: "Tiny seats (average sized male here - trust - they are tiny) All food is charged (not a single piece of free food was offered; $8/sandwich) Lost luggage - I've never dealt with airline personnel (in person & over phone) that displayed such a level of apathy. Compensation ceiling: $99. They apologized about the incident as if they were sorry that it was raining that day - not losing 2 pieces of luggage and not having any means to track them. Check-in personnel: They only gave me a single luggage tag for 3 pieces of luggage - they should have given me 3. Would have made tracing lost luggage easier. Employee @ IAD told me that if I didn't show up at the boarding gate 40 minutes prior to boarding that they would remove my luggage from airplane and that I could risk losing flight (wtf?). Icelandair is one of the worst airlines I have ever flown. I highly recommend looking elsewhere. They may offer rates 20% cheaper than other major carriers, but that discount accompanies a steep price. It's an airline run by inexperienced, lackluster, apathetic staff who, frankly, have no business operating an airline. If your options are flying with a major carrier vs Icelandair - and the price difference is a few hundred $: pay the extra money; you'll be glad you did. Icelandair's prices are not low enough to justify all the discomforts and liabilities which accompany them. Look elsewhere. Keep this in mind: I'm a seasoned flyer. This airlines barely ranks one notch up from Ryanair."

Voordelen: "Flight good. Missed the pay for food trolley, so didn't eat."
Nadelen: "Reykavic airport has the least amenities I have ever experienced. Very few seats in the lounge. Most are forced to stand or lie on the floor. Don't think that getting through the gate will mean getting on plane, it's too another waiting room with a few seats, mainly standing. The airport has no seated restaurants or cafes. So getting off a plane hungry id not pleasant. I will never again fly to and from New York via this 'airport'"

Voordelen: "Nothing except watching deadpool."
Nadelen: "The flight was extremely uncomfortable. Almost no one was able to get comfortable enough to sleep during an international overnight flight. The plane's cabin.temperature was extremely hot, and made sleep or even general comfort impossible to achieve."

Nous sommes restés plus de 24 h dans cet aéroport sans que nous soit proposé un hôtel. on nous a donné une couverture et un oreillé!!d'autre ont pu etre rebooké sur d'autre vols sur NY ou chicago le matin meme. Nous avons perdu une journée de travail mon époux et moi-meme. Lui a du annuler une formation impliquant 10 personnes qui venait de toute la France."

Nadelen: "the connection time between flights was NOT adequate especially considering I had to go through customs! AA did page me and had a representative (I think his name was Brian) waiting for me to help me get to my connection. He gave me a bright red/orange tag. I still hit some barriers. I was stopped in security and my carry on was put aside to be searched. It sat and sat . I explained to the man I had to go. He said he was working alone, so I had to wait. I was ready to leave it and just run to catch the flight, but the security man said I wasn't allowed to do that. He finally called someone else to search my bag (nothing found) I did make it...barely!"

Voordelen: "The stewardesses were very polite and helpful"

Nadelen: "6hours delay and no reimbursement. It sucked! Thank you."

Nadelen: "No individual screen. It would have been nice to know that beforehand. It was an unpleasant surprise."

Nadelen: "The fact that one could not book either an aisle or a window without paying significant sums is ridiculous - an additional $74 for a window seat and some were considerably more than that."

Nadelen: "Décollage en retard et arrivée avec plus de 40mn de retard Pas de classe premium eco et pas de possibilité d’avoir un espace avec un de place pour les jambes au comptoir Pour information générale , les places en économie sont très exiguës et généralement j’essaye de ne pas prendre de vol AA si je ne peux pas prendre à l’avance un siège sur les sortie de secours ce qui n’a pas été possible cette fois"

Later the stewardess went down the isle for my wife and she had all choices available! Weird. And the stewardess said this was as it was supposed to be."

Nadelen: "Belachelijk weinig beenruimte, waardoor ik niet eens recht in m’n stoel kon zitten!"

Voordelen: "Me gusta el servicio, la comodidad del idioma.. y la puntualidad de los viajes.."
Nadelen: "Yo me sentí mal con la displicente atención del auxiliar de vuelo. El no quiso ayudarme a poner mi equipaje de mano en el compartimiento encima de mi asiento. Dijo que si el levantaba esa maleta el podía dañar su espalda.. y el seguro no lo atenderia.. le dije al señor que yo había solicitado asistencia.. pero el dijo que para otra vez, pusiera mi equipaje en carga.. un pasajero vecino de mi asiento al ver la negativa actitud de ese señor.. levantó mi equipaje y me ayudó. Yo soy viajero frecuente de Iberia y se que una mala actitud no hará cambiar mi preferencia."

Voordelen: "Service!"

Nadelen: "I paid for wifi and I could not use it. There was a problem with the connexion. So, I paid for nothing"

Nadelen: "Airline personnel were not helpful and seemed annoyed when asked questions about a very tight connection I was trying to make in Madrid. They brushed off my questions with one word answers and then it turned out that we were 10 minutes late arriving and I missed my connection. The customer service people who were supposed to re-book me, actually tried to blame me for missing the connection! Overall, not a great experience -- very inefficient process with no one at the airline taking responsibility. Won't fly again if I have the choice."

Nadelen: "Due to delay of previous flight I missed my connection for which I had a 3 hour layover prior to delays. I was put on another flight out of LGA upon arrival but was not given a travel voucher even though I was told tmi had one in my envelope. Trying to get someone to issue a voucher almost made me miss my new connection."

Voordelen: "It was fine, nothing special"
Nadelen: "The internet was very, very expensive! $35 for very very slow internet that didn't work half of the time. Also, before I departed from the US, the customer service rep at JFK made me purchase a refundable plane ticket for $2500, and charged me a non refundable fee of $35 for booking the flight for me ( I asked how to do it via the Iberia website on my phone and she refused to help me, and the website makes it extremely not obvious how to book a refundable flight). She said because my flight was one way to Europe I had to have an onward flight, even though I was traveling by car outside of Europe. She said that they would ask me for it at customs when I arrived in Europe. Well they have never asked me for this before, and they did not ask me this time either when I arrived, so this whole exercise was pointless. When I called to get my ticket refunded, they also charged me a $25 fee for refunding the ticket, which the agent in NY did not tell me about. So I just ate $60 for no reason. In addition, the customer service person was very rude about the whole thing."

Nadelen: "The airline put me on standby for my connecting flight without telling me at anypoint until I was at the gate. I lost a day of vacation and instead had to wait in Madrid for 4hrs, fly to a neighboring city, and then take 2hr bus to my final destination."

Voordelen: "Yes"

Nadelen: "The only bad thing is that the checking at JFK was very long!!!!"

Nadelen: "Delays delays delays!!! Terrible!! We were waiting 7 hours!! No compensation was offered!"

Voordelen: "The crew was super friendly."
Nadelen: "We didn't start boarding until the scheduled departure time. Made my connection much tighter than it needed to be."

Voordelen: "Lie-flat seats were very comfortable. Flight was quite smooth. Left late but arrived on schedule. Wine was very good."
Nadelen: "Food was disappointing. IFE was so-so. Baggage handling was very slow on arrival."

Nadelen: "Missed my connection because they weren't super clear about the gate and then just kept me on standby. Would have liked to have had some options, like actually booking my flight so maybe I could have explored Madrid on my 9 hour layover after missing my flight by 4 minutes. And then they kept me shuttling back and forth while doing this. I went through security 4 times."

Voordelen: "Nothing"
Nadelen: "Terrible Uncomfortable Overbooked"

Voordelen: "Seats were comfortable, excellent movie selection, ample leg room, clean and new plane, staff was attentive."
Nadelen: "Food was average, foot rests were hard to operate, alcohol selection was scant, only beer and wine are complimentary, you must pay for spirits in premium economy"

Voordelen: "Flight was on time. Pretty hassle free. Our flight wasn't completely full which helped. International flight so food was served as well as complimentary wine and beer. Would fly with them again."

Nadelen: "Boarding started very late and left airport late, somehow landed "on time" but without enough time or guidance to make connecting flight. Although arrived at gate before schedule flight time, were not allowed to board, missing the connecting flight and was then charged a ludicrous amount in fees. Will never travel again."

Voordelen: "So refreshing an experience after AA: Iberia's Airbus was clean, their staff efficient, and professional, and electronic updates were provided at every connection! WOW!"

Nadelen: "When we arrived at AirPort El Dorado, we discovered that our flight was cancelled/has been changed without warning us! They scheduled us a new flight with Vianca and Iberia: Bogotá-Madrid + Madrid-Brussels. My partner and I could not sit together on any of these flights! 1 of 10 hours and of 2 hours! I would NOT recommend AA to anyone! This was full responsability of AA!"

Nadelen: "Stewards keep trying to speak in Spanish to you. Every time again you have to ask to repeat in English."

Nadelen: "It was cancelled"

Voordelen: "It got me hone."
Nadelen: "Very small seats we were not given any snacks or drinks."

Voordelen: "Excellent flight. Iberia had outstanding service"

Voordelen: "Guests were boarded quickly. Crew was friendly."
Nadelen: "Food was tasteless and bland. Crew was not very attentive."

Nadelen: "We took the red eye and there were children that would not stop screaming and crying. This was not your usual crying infant. These children were able to speak. The crew did nothing about it and let these children yell and scream as they played games on the provided tv. Most of the people on the flight were displeased by this family that made so much noise."
