Voordelen: "The crew was attentive and polite. The flights were on time, and the entertainment options were good. The Doha airport is quite nice, with many eating and retail options. although everything is very expensive, even by airport standards."
Nadelen: "My wife and I personally don't mind a selection that leans heavily toward Indian food, but I imagine others will not. The main courses were mediocre and the "sandwich" offered between meals on the 13+ hour flight was cold, soggy and inedible. The seats on our A350 were hard and not very comfortable, and the recline function was difficult to operate. Security at the Doha airport was confusing. We had to go through 3 separate checkpoints for our transfer, each with different rules and procedures. The final check at our departure gate was the worst, with impatient officials giving hurried instructions in heavily-accented English, and scolding if passengers didn't understand. I was sent back through a second time to remove my camera from the bag (and to be scolded by the agent), and was patted down a second time coming back through the x-ray, which had green-lighted me both times. It made me wonder if this was a reaction to the extra scrutiny that Arab passengers receive from our airport security in the USA."

Wonder why the staff do not follow the seating process by zone as mentioned on the boarding pass."

Under no circumstance any airline employee should lecture a passenger about time schedules and such. I had read the rules online and was aware of the timings required if checking in online. I was surprised being accustomed to good service from this airline."

Bathrooms deteriorated through the flight and were not cleaned through a 10 hr flight. Paper towels and toilet toilet paper ran out two thirds of the way into the red-eye flight and bathrooms became non useable in the morning. Crew requires more training in upkeep of airplane on long-haul flights."

Nadelen: "I disliked the feeling of being targeted and discriminated against. I was forced to undergo additional unwarranted extensive security checks as I was boarding the plane. I was asked to step aside and have my carry on rechecked while I was being interrogated by an officer. This is all in addition to going through an extensive security check at the security checkpoint. This procedure is Unjust and Humiliating for innocent passengers try to take a flight with absolutely nothing to hide."

Nadelen: "These comments probably reflect the Tbilisi ground service crew rather than the airline, but I cannot be certain. We left the departure gate 30 minutes later than scheduled, after arriving at 0445 am. then we loaded a bus full of people packed together, the bus went 50 meters and stopped. We then sat there, with no air conditioning, no information, for 45 additional minutes. It was extremely uncomfortable. Finally drove another 50 meters to the airplane, and waited some more before finally boarding. Once on board there was another delay of some 20 minutes before we could taxi. All of this meant we arrived quite late in Istanbul and missed all connections."

Voordelen: "The food was good, the entertainment ample and up-to-date, and our flight attendant on that flight was very nice and helpful. My sister is incredibly tall and they were able to put us in an exit row, which was much more comfortable for her."

Nadelen: "The crew is really not aware of how to deal with passengers of various levels. They don't seem to have the sense of responsibility..."

Nadelen: "My husband's passport expires in March of 2018, 4 months from travel dates and we weren't allowed to travel because it has to be 6 months. We booked our tickets in August of 2017, Turkish Airlines could've told us this. During booking, they ask for passport expiry date, what's the point if you're not going to tell us in advance and wait till our travel date to tell us this information. We couldn't travel on our vacation as planned and we were charged an additional $3,000 to change our tickets."

The on-line check failed and that was the only reason to go to the counter, but, alas, it then took an hour to get things sorted because the single staff person just walked off because no one was there to relieve her."

Nadelen: "They change my seat for 5a to 8a without saying anything. When I talked to the flight crew they advised to do a complaint in turkey but the time didn't allow me to do so due to flight being late."

Nadelen: "The flight was cancelled due to weather conditions, that's fine! I never found out till I had to contact the airlines and verify of this piece of information after I heard it from news. Kayak never notified me, nor offered any alternatives!! Poor service!"

Voordelen: "The flight attendants were lovely, they worked smoothly and did their best to manage an unpleasant situation. The facilities are also excellent, and as always, the fresh flowers and hand lotion and such in the toilets was a nice touch."
Nadelen: "The food was not up to standard this flight, mostly passable, but our pasta inexplicably tasted chlorinated, as if the noodles had ben boiled in pool water. It's a mild complaint, though. Plane food isn't always sterling. The true problem, unfortunately, was in the form of other passengers. Despite having an excess of available space to stretch out, our seats were surrounded by utterly out-of-control children. Crying babies is understandable, it can't be helped, but if your children are running up and down the aisles [including during the landing], sitting on other passengers [myself in particular], and lying down in the aisle to sleep [and the flight attendant had to ask multiple people whose child that one was because no one wanted to own up, apparently] they have no business being on a plane. I don't even care about the annoyance at this point, their behaviour was inherently unsafe and the parents just didn't care."

Voordelen: "When I find the restroom facility with water all over the floor and walls apparently used by a passenger to do a sponge bath. I notified the flight attendants and they immediately clean up the mess and restore the restroom to usable condition. I was very impressed with their attitude in a trying situation. Very cordial flight crew. The little travel kits were an added bonus. Having sandals on a 13 hour flight was a blessing instead of putting on shoes every time you have to to to the WC."
Nadelen: "The 45 minute wait on the tarmac before take off. It was quite hot in the cabin with no air circulation. And no information from the cockpit as to when takeoff will be."

Voordelen: "20 min delay. Boarding took too much time"

Nadelen: "The 777 was very clean and had great onboard personal internment with lots on on demand movies."

Nadelen: "First let me tell you that when I booked a flight to Istanbul from Brussels, I booked, so I thought, the airport called Istanbul Ataturk with the initials of IST. What I got was SAW after I paid for a booking that said IST. Sabina Gokcen is one hour away further on the Asian side of Turkey. I did not want this airport! There was nothing I could do about this but bite the bullet & accept what I got since I was not allowed to have any corrections made after paying for this ticket. I am highly disappointed with Kayak. The first time you have disappointed me greatly!"

Nadelen: "Leg space a nighrmare!! Was uncomfortable for all the 13 hrs of the flight. Terrible experience"

Nadelen: "This is one of the worst airlines I have flown with. I travel internationally frequently, I had used Turkish Airlines on a domestic flight in Turkey back in the 90's. It was a decent experience. So I decided to book my flight to Athens with Turkish Airlines. I bought a nonstop flight from LAX to with one and a half hour layover in Istanbul and then flying to Athens on the same day. I was assigned bulkhead seats on the way over. On the day of the Parcher at the Turkish airline counter in LAX I was informed that my seat assignments were changed. The agent could not/ would not give me a satisfactory answer as to why! During the course of the same conversation I was also informed that my layover Istanbul is not 1 1/2 hours, instead it is seven hours and I will be flying out to Athens The following day. My flight was randomly changed to a later flight without my knowledge! After a long wait at the ticketing counter, the manager switched us back to the original itinerary. Sadly it doesn't end here. The take off was about an hour and a half delayed. This was about exactly the same amount of time I had as layover Istanbul airport. I asked several flight attendants about how will Turkish Airlines will handle this delay as my connection to Athens was in jeopardy. Again not one flight attendant could give me a straight answer. Some said "well hopefully you will make it to the next flight". One said "the pilot we will make up for the lost time". I also noticed that my original bulkhead seat assignments were given to three ladies who were friends of a first class flight attendant! it was really annoying to watch the flight attendant bring them treats from the first class kitchen area. It was clear that our seats were intentionally switched as a special favor. Long story short, upon arrival we were told that the our connecting flight is at gate 501 only to find out there was no plane at the gate!! We never found out what happened to our original connection to Athens, but we ended up waiting an additional 5 1/2 hours in the airport for then next day flight. No explanation given, no accommodations provided, no apologies!"

Nadelen: "The seats we were in were where it went from 4 in a row to 3, so the telvisions were not directly in front of us, and i had to keep my head turned at an angle for ten hours. It sounds silly, but my neck hurt after the flight a little. Might be a pop out tv you can attach that is moveable to fix this"

Voordelen: "Hydration station during the long flight. Leg room adequate."
Nadelen: "They checked my bag at the gate - despite me traveling all over the world NEVER having to check it - and would not take no for an answer, despite me having a 25 minute connection due to their one hour delay. Once boarded there was an incredible amount of empty overhead bins! Bag didn't make it"

Voordelen: "The Agent at the Lufthansa baggage location services was very nice and helpful."
Nadelen: "The flight from Copenhagen to Brussels was delayed long enough that I barely made my connecting flight to Frankfurt. However, my luggage did not. I hope it will arrive today."

Voordelen: "The Munich airport presented a startling contrast to heathrow! Both the flight from London and from Munich were very nice. I was so tired that I am sure I missed a lot."

Voordelen: "We struggled to get the system to add our bags. Never got it to work and had to pay at check-in. It was even worse coming back! When bad weather caused delays and we missed our connecting flight from Frankfurt to Istanbul they put us on Turkish Airlines which was fabulous!!"
Nadelen: "Lufhtansa is slipping. They are acting like a budget airline when the expectation is for a full service airline. The online check-in would not let us add bags even though we tried for 3 hours. Not impressed with this."

Nadelen: "De stoelen in Croatia airlines lijken wel van hout en zijn redelijk krap. Eten is pietepruime."

When we got transfer no one told us we have only bearly 1 h to catch the next place to Germany. They assured us we will make it twice. We missrf the plane to Germany over 30 min. San Francisco airport horrible. No one gave us any information. They didnt know wfere is what. No one helped us."

Voordelen: "Easily the most comfortable I've ever been in TATL economy. Lufthansa's 747-8 is set up strangely: the main deck is arranged First - Business - Economy - Prem. Economy - Economy. This means that if you can book a seat in the forward economy mini-cabin, you get dedicated cabin crew, no other passengers walking through your space to get to the bathroom, plenty of bin space, and – best of all – a lot of aisle space to stretch your legs. Row 16 aisle seats are especially good, as the bulkhead between J and Y doesn't extend all the way, and therefore you can stretch your feet out. Food was actually excellent (for economy), hot and flavorful and generous, with snacks available mid-flight. Beverages also tops – gotta love Lufthansa for offering Campari (!) and more than one wine choice."
Nadelen: "Entertainment (music and movies at least) was up-to-date but not very interested. Boarding and transit security in Frankfurt was anxiety-inducing – between getting to the US departures area and additional screening, it took more than an hour from deplaning to getting in line. Boarding w/o group numbers was an exercise in patience. And the terminal wifi is so spotty!"

Voordelen: "Courteous and friendly staff - did enjoy my gluten free meal"
Nadelen: "Economy seats leave no room for relaxed arms - i had mine in front of me for 9 hours as the seat was SO small! As am I!!"

Nadelen: "The food"

Voordelen: "Pleasant efficient crew and although we had a late departure the pilot made up the time and we did not miss our connection"

Nadelen: "Hickups in entertainment screens. Seats seem te be smaller again Rows without windows"

Voordelen: "The crew was nice Checking was quick and painless Entertainment had a limited options but good"
Nadelen: "Very limited food options. I get it is not first class but not everyone likes only chicken or fish"

Nadelen: "This flight was the second leg on my trip from New York to Munich. Many people on the flight from NY to Brussels were scheduled on this flight and that plane landed in time that this flight would only need to be delayed 10 minutes to allow for us to connect. However, they decided to leave all of us with a long unexpected layover in Brussels, costing many of us a day of what was supposed to be a short vacation for most."

Voordelen: "I like that they doesn't take so much time for boarding"
Nadelen: "A cookie would be better than a Corny in short flight"

Voordelen: "The food was good and they provided a good amount of snacks and drinks as well. My movie screen would not play with sound and they found me a different seat."
Nadelen: "The layover time was terrible. Only 1 hour in Frankfurt. I barely made my next flight and that's only because I ran since the boarding time is about 30 minutes before the flight leaves. Their "minimum layover time" needs to be lengthened. I'd like to know if any of the people who make that decision have ever tried to make a flight with such a short layover."

Nadelen: "The flight was about 45 minutes delayed but it was okay with me since I had connection flight and I had a long connecting time."

Voordelen: "That the plane brought me safely to San Diego"
Nadelen: "Paid entertainment on a 12 hour flight"

Nadelen: "Late departure"

Voordelen: "On time."

Voordelen: "Great service both before boarding the plane and while in flight. The check in line was out of control, but lufthansa staff members ensured that I could still make my flight."

Voordelen: "Decent flight. Nice crew. Clean cabin."
Nadelen: "We booked these flights expecting Lufthansa. Little disappointed to learn they were Brussels airlines. Inflight entertainment options and meal options don't seem to be as good. Flight crew was pleasant and fine. After learning it was Brussels airlines I went through their check-in process for families and requested kid-friendly meals, but nothing came of it. Slightly disappointed."

Voordelen: "The overall feeling of this flight was 'relaxed'...after getting over the fact, that this was a huge (two story) airplane. Short flight from Denver to Frankfurt...only 8 hours:)"
Nadelen: "I would have loved to be offered eye shades and ear plus, since most passengers watched movies and i wanted to sleep:)."

Nadelen: "Not enough leg room I am 6ft 3 tall"

Nadelen: "Our luggage was the last to arrive planeside from our late flight from Vancouver. We saw out luggage on the cart next to the plane, but apparently someone decided not to put it on the plane. We are now at least 24 hours without our luggage (we still don't have it) and cannot take advantage of our very expensive vacation. I must say, we will stop using Lufthansa and all partner airlines. This is completely unacceptable. I have received no communication at all from Lufthansa to explain why our bags were not loaded onto the plane, even though we saw them out the window, on the cart, next to the plane, before door closure. I am wondering if someone at Lufthansa decided it would be fun to ruin our vacation?"

Voordelen: "Over the length of the 9.5 hour flight, my time in the Economy class was that the crew were professional, courteous and especially helpful. There is a magnitude of difference between the attitude and professionalism of this airline over any American airline I have flown. In the future, Lufthansa will be my first consideration."

Nadelen: "Repetitive food choices. Same movies as last month so if you take long trips,you run out of options. I spent 28 hours on flights in Nov and Dec"

Nadelen: "This airline has little respect for its customers. In the economy/coach cabin, they squeeze the seat distances to such an extent that, when the person in front of you leans their chair back, you cannot get out of your seat at an upright angle. You have to significantly bend your body. To not loose your balance, you have to grab on to the seat in front of you and that disturbs the other passenger. If they're sleeping, they can be woken up by that. Lufthansa does not care much for its passengers. Nor do many other companies, for that matter, but I think Lufthansa is taking things further than most airlines. It is a disgrace. Their brand is not what it once was."

Nadelen: "The airplane was extremely cold and the flight staff was rude"

Nadelen: "Very nice crew and great food"

Nadelen: "It's KLM. What else do you need to know."

Voordelen: "Information sharing by pilots and crew. Economy class leg room is good."
Nadelen: "All good up to the level"

Voordelen: "A flight was delayed due to weather conditions and we had to sit in the plane for almost an hour, BUT information sharing from the Capitan was sufficient and on-time. Very good job from pilots. Leg room in economy - I was positively surprised, very decent leg room! Thank you for providing it."

Nadelen: "The seat I had with no seats in front of me was very small. Much smaller than the other economy seats because the tray table and video screen were in the armrests. Paid extra for the legroom by ended up losing it side to side. Really had to squeeze into the seat."

Voordelen: "Overall booking and airport was ok. Food was also actually quite good."
Nadelen: "A comfort of the seats... well its economy class in the end. Entertainment was just dreadful - small screen with visible pixels - I was unable to watch any movie."

Voordelen: "Fairly nice flight. 7 hours AMS to JFK. They had ice cream cones for us mid flight and an after dinner cognac if you wished."
Nadelen: "Not a big fan of paying for a few extra inches of leg room in a better seat after paying for a ticket."

Nadelen: "The boarding area was total chaos. In order to get to the gate I had to literally fight with the 100s of people who were waiting in the same area. No priority was given to family with children or elite members. Even when we complaint at the personnel we were told that “it was busy”. Usually KLM flight from Venice depart from the first floor where gates are bigger and you get straight with the finger to the airplane. Today it hasn’t been the case .... too poor service for a KLM fight"

Voordelen: "All cabin crew were courteous. Refreshments were light. Check stuff were helpful, they did devise that the flight was full and due to space hand luggage would prefer to be put in hold free of charge. We did not have any problem with this. Plane was clean."
Nadelen: "Service was a little slow going through the gate, it seemed to take a while for everyone to get on board."
