Voordelen: "The crew was attentive and polite. The flights were on time, and the entertainment options were good. The Doha airport is quite nice, with many eating and retail options. although everything is very expensive, even by airport standards."
Nadelen: "My wife and I personally don't mind a selection that leans heavily toward Indian food, but I imagine others will not. The main courses were mediocre and the "sandwich" offered between meals on the 13+ hour flight was cold, soggy and inedible. The seats on our A350 were hard and not very comfortable, and the recline function was difficult to operate. Security at the Doha airport was confusing. We had to go through 3 separate checkpoints for our transfer, each with different rules and procedures. The final check at our departure gate was the worst, with impatient officials giving hurried instructions in heavily-accented English, and scolding if passengers didn't understand. I was sent back through a second time to remove my camera from the bag (and to be scolded by the agent), and was patted down a second time coming back through the x-ray, which had green-lighted me both times. It made me wonder if this was a reaction to the extra scrutiny that Arab passengers receive from our airport security in the USA."

Nadelen: "These comments probably reflect the Tbilisi ground service crew rather than the airline, but I cannot be certain. We left the departure gate 30 minutes later than scheduled, after arriving at 0445 am. then we loaded a bus full of people packed together, the bus went 50 meters and stopped. We then sat there, with no air conditioning, no information, for 45 additional minutes. It was extremely uncomfortable. Finally drove another 50 meters to the airplane, and waited some more before finally boarding. Once on board there was another delay of some 20 minutes before we could taxi. All of this meant we arrived quite late in Istanbul and missed all connections."

Voordelen: "The food was good, the entertainment ample and up-to-date, and our flight attendant on that flight was very nice and helpful. My sister is incredibly tall and they were able to put us in an exit row, which was much more comfortable for her."

Nadelen: "My husband's passport expires in March of 2018, 4 months from travel dates and we weren't allowed to travel because it has to be 6 months. We booked our tickets in August of 2017, Turkish Airlines could've told us this. During booking, they ask for passport expiry date, what's the point if you're not going to tell us in advance and wait till our travel date to tell us this information. We couldn't travel on our vacation as planned and we were charged an additional $3,000 to change our tickets."

Nadelen: "The food was not up to standard this flight, mostly passable, but our pasta inexplicably tasted chlorinated, as if the noodles had ben boiled in pool water. It's a mild complaint, though. Plane food isn't always sterling. The true problem, unfortunately, was in the form of other passengers. Despite having an excess of available space to stretch out, our seats were surrounded by utterly out-of-control children. Crying babies is understandable, it can't be helped, but if your children are running up and down the aisles [including during the landing], sitting on other passengers [myself in particular], and lying down in the aisle to sleep [and the flight attendant had to ask multiple people whose child that one was because no one wanted to own up, apparently] they have no business being on a plane. I don't even care about the annoyance at this point, their behaviour was inherently unsafe and the parents just didn't care."

Voordelen: "When I find the restroom facility with water all over the floor and walls apparently used by a passenger to do a sponge bath. I notified the flight attendants and they immediately clean up the mess and restore the restroom to usable condition. I was very impressed with their attitude in a trying situation. Very cordial flight crew. The little travel kits were an added bonus. Having sandals on a 13 hour flight was a blessing instead of putting on shoes every time you have to to to the WC."
Nadelen: "The 45 minute wait on the tarmac before take off. It was quite hot in the cabin with no air circulation. And no information from the cockpit as to when takeoff will be."

Nadelen: "First let me tell you that when I booked a flight to Istanbul from Brussels, I booked, so I thought, the airport called Istanbul Ataturk with the initials of IST. What I got was SAW after I paid for a booking that said IST. Sabina Gokcen is one hour away further on the Asian side of Turkey. I did not want this airport! There was nothing I could do about this but bite the bullet & accept what I got since I was not allowed to have any corrections made after paying for this ticket. I am highly disappointed with Kayak. The first time you have disappointed me greatly!"

Nadelen: "This is one of the worst airlines I have flown with. I travel internationally frequently, I had used Turkish Airlines on a domestic flight in Turkey back in the 90's. It was a decent experience. So I decided to book my flight to Athens with Turkish Airlines. I bought a nonstop flight from LAX to with one and a half hour layover in Istanbul and then flying to Athens on the same day. I was assigned bulkhead seats on the way over. On the day of the Parcher at the Turkish airline counter in LAX I was informed that my seat assignments were changed. The agent could not/ would not give me a satisfactory answer as to why! During the course of the same conversation I was also informed that my layover Istanbul is not 1 1/2 hours, instead it is seven hours and I will be flying out to Athens The following day. My flight was randomly changed to a later flight without my knowledge! After a long wait at the ticketing counter, the manager switched us back to the original itinerary. Sadly it doesn't end here. The take off was about an hour and a half delayed. This was about exactly the same amount of time I had as layover Istanbul airport. I asked several flight attendants about how will Turkish Airlines will handle this delay as my connection to Athens was in jeopardy. Again not one flight attendant could give me a straight answer. Some said "well hopefully you will make it to the next flight". One said "the pilot we will make up for the lost time". I also noticed that my original bulkhead seat assignments were given to three ladies who were friends of a first class flight attendant! it was really annoying to watch the flight attendant bring them treats from the first class kitchen area. It was clear that our seats were intentionally switched as a special favor. Long story short, upon arrival we were told that the our connecting flight is at gate 501 only to find out there was no plane at the gate!! We never found out what happened to our original connection to Athens, but we ended up waiting an additional 5 1/2 hours in the airport for then next day flight. No explanation given, no accommodations provided, no apologies!"

Voordelen: "A flight was delayed due to weather conditions and we had to sit in the plane for almost an hour, BUT information sharing from the Capitan was sufficient and on-time. Very good job from pilots. Leg room in economy - I was positively surprised, very decent leg room! Thank you for providing it."
Nadelen: "I flew economy and all was good and appropriate to the level."

Voordelen: "Very attentive crew. Attended to needs immediately. Took a lot of time with each person when someone had something to say."
Nadelen: "The seat I had with no seats in front of me was very small. Much smaller than the other economy seats because the tray table and video screen were in the armrests. Paid extra for the legroom by ended up losing it side to side. Really had to squeeze into the seat."

Voordelen: "Overall booking and airport was ok. Food was also actually quite good."
Nadelen: "A comfort of the seats... well its economy class in the end. Entertainment was just dreadful - small screen with visible pixels - I was unable to watch any movie."

Nadelen: "Our lougage did not arrive"

Nadelen: "Very slow service at checkin, was not even available when I arrived at the airport"

Voordelen: "Het eten was lekker en er werd genoeg drinken aangeboden. Personeel erg vriendelijk."
Nadelen: "De stoelen van de Boeing 777 in de economy kunnen echt beter. Ik kreeg al snel pijn in m’n onderrug aangevuld met een houten kont. Niet echt fijn voor een vlucht van 16 uur"

Voordelen: "Easy to board and easy flight."

Nadelen: "Flight departed 35 minutes late"

Voordelen: "More than adequate room, And very good service from a very professional staff. Head and shoulders abovevany American carrier, and several European lines I have flown."
Nadelen: "Can't think of anything."

Nadelen: "KLM staff in the Prague airport were some of the rudest humans I have ever met. So incredibly uncaring and outright mean."

Voordelen: "Fairly nice flight. 7 hours AMS to JFK. They had ice cream cones for us mid flight and an after dinner cognac if you wished."
Nadelen: "Not a big fan of paying for a few extra inches of leg room in a better seat after paying for a ticket."

Voordelen: "The leg room, was surprisingly roomy"
Nadelen: "The food and that there was no entertainment."

Voordelen: "Nice flight, nice crew, and a nice experience."

Voordelen: "Sandwich was incredibly tasty (although not much filling)"
Nadelen: "2 hours on the tarmac delayed with no explanation. Uncomfortable seats, no leg room. Poor management of seating, there was enough empty seats to have groups together but they were split up. Drinks served from a communal bottle in a polystyrene cup."

Nadelen: "The boarding area was total chaos. In order to get to the gate I had to literally fight with the 100s of people who were waiting in the same area. No priority was given to family with children or elite members. Even when we complaint at the personnel we were told that “it was busy”. Usually KLM flight from Venice depart from the first floor where gates are bigger and you get straight with the finger to the airplane. Today it hasn’t been the case .... too poor service for a KLM fight"

Nadelen: "Has to wait in confined area fir nearly 2 hrs before boarding. No restroom or refreshments within that area."

Voordelen: "All cabin crew were courteous. Refreshments were light. Check stuff were helpful, they did devise that the flight was full and due to space hand luggage would prefer to be put in hold free of charge. We did not have any problem with this. Plane was clean."
Nadelen: "Service was a little slow going through the gate, it seemed to take a while for everyone to get on board."

Nadelen: "wines were mediocre which was balanced out by the good quality of the food. Brussels to Abu Dabhi boarding was a little chaotic with coach and front cabin passesgers packed in a single bus. Noticed many older passengers standing for the longish bus ride."

Nadelen: "the touchscreen inflight system didn’t work very well in the MNL-AUH leg of the trip"

Nadelen: "My wife had a drunk passenger sitting next to her and the crew did nothing to stop the man from misbehaving.....what can I say to this inefficiency ??? I choose to not travel with ETIHAD ever again."

Nadelen: "When I was checking in in Nairobi The lady was rude and unfriendly I have never experienced such behavior from any airline stuff"

Voordelen: "Both planes had USB ports for charging phones. Food was better this time."
Nadelen: "Space for seats not enough at all. I know its economy but still...It was very expensive to pay extra to get the extra leg room for Abu Dhabi to Washington flight."

Nadelen: "The on boarding staff was rude and unhelpful. The seats of the same ticket were not issued aside each other. The food is below mediocre compared to Emirates. Would take Emirates anytime over Ethihad moving forward."

Nadelen: "The food was seriously too small in portion! Had to go hungry on a full service 14hr flight!"

Voordelen: "The food is not standard airline food and deliciously reflects the Middle East."

Voordelen: "That there was a vegetarian meal on the second leg of my travel. And that the journey is over. Besides that, not much"
Nadelen: "1 hour delay to begin with. Then trasfer area at Abu Dhabi was utter chaos. While it's suffocatingly crowded, there was no A.C! No vegetarian option for meal on the flight from Brussels to Abu Dhabi. The seats hurt by bottom. One of the worst flight seats ever. All in all, a totally underwhelming experience."

Nadelen: "The seats in row 43 should only have 3 in the middle as I kept getting bumped by the trolley as the aisle narrows considerably at that point in the plane."

Voordelen: "Chauffeur car came on time checking was quick overall flight was excellent"

Nadelen: "There was a airplane change that delayed the flight by 4 hours. No compensation was offered. Entertainment volume was too low even at max level"

Nadelen: "Crew was very rude, ground or air. Our layoff was 11.hours nobody provide us food or hotel, we stayat terminal 3 for 11 hours. Seats were assigned to us was in the end of craft though we're 1st in check in. Food was rotten like dogybag with no class. Head phone were broken."

Nadelen: "Nothing"

Voordelen: "Plenty of spare seating. Cabin staff and crew very helpful."
Nadelen: "Entertainment was dreadful more than 50pc not working. Flight tracker not working. Back of end rear cabin seats some were loose. Dreading return legs of trip."

Voordelen: "Etihad showed some kind of discrimination non-muslims wheel chair passengers. My luggage is not taken good care of as they tear my zipper. The crew of are okay but never take good care of seniors with some physical disabilities to check and see whether they need water to drink on long distance flights as many airlines do. Muslim wheel chair passengers were given preferential treatment as I am always last one to be picked up and my luggage came at the end after waiting for one hour."

Nadelen: "Since passengers are flying from international destinations, they should not have to pay for luggage carts - even though they are not clearing customs in San Francisco."

Voordelen: "Gets you where you need to be"
Nadelen: "Broken entertainment, very uncomfortable seats, a feeling that economy is not that important to them despite the fact tickets are not exactly economy! Horrible dated beige colours everywhere and dated planes"

Voordelen: "Staff are friendly and helpful. Communication generally helpful. Flight comfortable other than for the food and seat cushioning. (see below) They handled our delayed connection brilliantly, putting us in a hotel in Abu Dhabi for the day. Very restful and handled very well."

Nadelen: "The ground staff at Dallas were extremely rude. Made an old woman cry. Did not use common sense to check in people. They were weighing even obvious very small back packs that were obviously less than 3 lbs. talked to people in a rude manner and were not very helpful. I flew more 15 times in the last years. By far the worst experience. Flew emirates. Delta. Klm France airways. British airways. Even kenya airways. American and united. By far the worst experience. Service service"

Nadelen: "It was delayed more than 7 hrs. We had early morning flight . They disnot allow us to get out to get food. They just sreve cice water. I had to take medicine with food."
