I liked the cleanliness of the flight, my check in bags got loaded into cargo for some reason and I had to wait over 30 mins for them to arrive becuase a thunderstorm hit and they people in charge didn’t want to drive the cargo section over in a thunderstorm.

The enclosure also protuded into my left bicep when I had my elbow resting on the arm rest. Table on my right hand side was too close to my body, and to high to reach a drink easily, I literally had to lift my whole right arm to pick up a glass."

Delayed and hour talking off and delay the other end unable to get into the gate, had to wait on the runway for almost 40 minutes, not what you need on a 25 hour journey from Australia to the UK. No reason was given for the delay taking off, on arrival because we were late our gate was taken. Poor experienced.

Everything is included in the cost of a ticket, something that US airlines should learn! Voordelen: "Cet avion un B--777 avait plus d’espace pour les jambes, ce qui fut fortement apprécie.. Ce n'était pas le cas pour les épaules, surtout si le voisin est le moindrement corpulent ou un peu hors norme, ce qui n'est pas mon cas, ni celui de mon épouse."

Nadelen: "On our departure flight the entertainment system stopped working completely at my daughter's seat mid-flight (the whole screen went black, remote control and all). The flight attendant tried and was unable to fix it, so they moved a passenger in the row my husband and I were in and put my daughter there. None of the entertainment systems worked well, the touch screens were barely responsive - they definitely need updating. On our return flight the power in the whole row that my three pre-teen kids were in stopped working. Again the flight attendant tried unsuccessfully to fix. My husband and I switched rows with them so they could continue to watch movies. Each time we called the flight attendant she came, said she would try to reset the systems and that we should wait a few minutes. We waited and ultimately had to go find her again to be told the same thing again. After this happened three times she sent the manager over who said she could not fix it since that would mean that the whole area would have to be reset and they didn't want to disturb anyone else. The only solution they offered was to give my husband and I open seats (not together and not near our kids) around the cabin. We did not want to split up, so my husband and I spent the rest of the hours of the flight in the dark (lights didn't work either as they are connected to the system) reading with the light from our cell phones. None of the people who came to assist us really seemed to care at all about our comfort or situation."

Nadelen: "We were travelling with an infant. Although we had requested for crib/bassinet we didn’t get one. To add to the anxiety, we noticed that none of the bassinet seats were allocated to parents with infants. There were at least 3 families with infants and lots of children due to school holidays. But we all had to make do with our cramped seats. Maybe Qantas can plan this better. It isn’t so difficult as they usually know how many infants are travelling, in advance."
Nadelen: "The plane required the note book to view current movie but the note book has to have the app installed before take off. It was not properly draw my attention in advance via e-mail or text messages. For such a long flight, Qantas should have a better plane to server this route. Totally disappointed."

Nadelen: "Was not impressed with the seat armrests...but it was my first time on the dreamliner...usually fly airbus and sleep like a top !Would also prefer not to have to do customs till I reached Adelaide but thats just a minor quibble."

Nadelen: "I am a frequent flyer with QANTAS and a regular customer for many years. Why then do I get the worst seats on the aircraft (last row without reclining). These seats are often assigned to me and they are extremely uncomfortable. I booked a paid fare and did not claim points. My FF preferred seats are mid-plane, aisle. The screen had very poor contrast and it was like watching through cloth. To make it worse the entertainment system had very poor sound with long periods of frozen frames and staccato sound making it difficult to follow the plot. My wife's system (also FF) was the same. Not happy with the "special welcome" given to FF passengers!"

Voordelen: "Due to the breakdown in diplomatic relations between the United States and Turkey, we were not able to secure non-immigrant visas to enter Turkey, so we had to cancel our plans to Istanbul. It is a bit of a comfort to note that Turkish Airlines seems likely to refund us the price of our tickets. I appreciate it, because I don't think they are legally obligated, though it is the ethical thing to do."
Nadelen: "However, even getting our money back on the airline tickets won't reverse the disappointment of going through all of the effort and coordination to plan the trip. I intended to take my nephew to Istanbul, a city I've never been to and always pined to visit, and had encouraged a local friend whose son, close in age to my nephew, is studying music in Istanbul at this time. My nephew is studying in Valencia, and we thought it would be a really fun and memorable experience for them to meet, and maybe they would have decided to do some traveling together in the future or my friend's son could have visited my nephew in Valencia at some point this school year. All these plans went down the drain when we couldn't get visas. We are having to content ourselves with southern Spain instead."
