Voordelen: "Don't cheap out on your flights to Japan because this ANA flight from New York/JFK to Haneda was the correct way to go. Japanese-style hospitality, respect and quality of service (which is beyond the heavens) shows from check-in to landing (and even post-landing.) The in-flight meals, inspired by Japanese recipes of the Japanese destination or origin, were finely made - that goes even for Economy Class. When there was a delay that was ultimately out of their control, they made things right with post-landing arrangements. Never take any other country's airline when flying into Japan - always always ALWAYS take ANA whenever you can. (Avoid codeshares, too!!)"

I am very disappointed."

The enclosure also protuded into my left bicep when I had my elbow resting on the arm rest. Table on my right hand side was too close to my body, and to high to reach a drink easily, I literally had to lift my whole right arm to pick up a glass."

It is a long flight and being dehydrated on a plane is not a good thing."

Voordelen: "Excellent seat and pillow cushion... The krisworld in-flight entertainment was extremely easy to use while still having a wide selection of films. The touchscreen was also very simple and did t require a great deal of force to press a button...the steamed towel given before take off was extremely relaxing and set a high standard of expectations during this flight. Almost all of the those expectations were met. The toilets were extremely clean and the service of toothbrushes was the icing on the cake. For my meal I ordered Indian fish curry which could have been a little more spicy (I am Indian so I eat foods with many spices)."
Nadelen: "I would have liked a wider selection of foods in the menu.. Limited options. Also, I had a 11:45 AM flight from BOM-SIN which was supposed to start boarding at 10:45, but instead we started boarding at 11:30 and took off at 12:10."

However QA did not provide a wheelchair during check-in at Paris Charles de Gaulle for whatever unjustified reason"

Nadelen: "Qatar in Belgrade didn't tell me about alchocol bottle I bought in the Duty Free and that i could not go with it all the way to melbourne even bag was sealed and receipt was visible. I lost $ buying, because custom in Doha had to take bottle. Its not right. Qatar custom could see in Belgrade and didn't tell me and the same in the Duty Free shop."

From food to accomodation. We'll still fly with Qatar Airways. I know there's a good reason for the delays."

Nadelen: "The need to pull out boarding passes multiple times-like 6 times- and having to be screened Twice. To even buy some mouthwash i had to show boarding passes. Ridiculous"

Nadelen: "Had an 11hr delay overall, 3.5hrs sitting on the tarmac only to be told to disembark for dinner at the airport. Then told that we won't be getting on until 7am the next day, but only really started boarding at 8:30am. By the time we were told about the reschedule to the next morning, it was too late to get a hotel room (too far away) and was told that I could use a 'Quiet Lounge' at the airport (which wasn't quiet). While waiting to board at 7am the next day, ground staff told us that they had to change the plane so there would be a further delay. On boarding, we discovered that it was the SAME PLANE."

Voordelen: "I flew from Bali to Doha and then Doha to Dulles after an 8 hour layover. Both flights operated a Boeing 777. The planes were spotlessly clean both flights. The menu choices were amazing and the wine selections were very good. What made the difference was the attentiveness of the cabin crew. I would particularly like to commend the purser and the flight attendants on flight 707 DOH-IAD for their assistance and willingness to go above and beyond the call of duty"
Nadelen: "Flight 707 was supposed to have the new Qsuites in Business Class, so it was disappointing that without prior notice the airline switched to an aircraft with normal (but quite good) business class seating. Nevertheless, the purser and the flight attendants made the flight memorable in a very positive way."

Voordelen: "The flight got delayed for 4.5 hours. We didnt receive any call, sms or email informing us about the delay. We went to the airport for checkin only to discover that it was delayed! No justification or any reason were given to us. We are travelling with a baby. We had to get a taxi to return to our home and return back to the airport after 4.5 hours. Called qatar airways and send them a xomplaint email. No one cared to answer. The worst flight ever. Will never go with qatar airways anymore"

Nadelen: "I did not like the fact that on now 3 flights I have lost miles, as on every flight I have tried to sign on as a member or frequent flyer and on all flights, there were no entry forms. This is also after my attempt to complete one on line, which I have had no response to."

Nadelen: "One of bags was missing and I came to know this only after waiting until the last bag. The staff knew that my bag did not make it out of Doha. It would have been nice if I was informed as soon as I landed so I did not have to wait for an hour unnecessarily. And the paperwork to report the missing baggage was totally Chaotic. Whoever barged to the counter and was aggressive got priority and taking down the details and giving us a receipt. This is probably my 5 or 6 flight in Qatar and it seems that you guys are slipping up as Emirates had done. Hope you don't."

Voordelen: "Everything was excellent as I have come to expect. The business class seat was not one of those new diagonal ones, but made a full width flat bed, so I could sleep for a few hours. Food and service excellent."

Nadelen: "The flight crew and gate crew were the rudest I have seen in my entire life. They acted as if they were too good to acknowledge passengers and ignored the flight attendant light and other efforts to get their attention to ask a question."

Nadelen: "Stuff not helpful, rude and not helping at all despite us being with a baby"

Nadelen: "Actually, pretty all right, so no recommendations."

Voordelen: "The crew was on point and did there jobs well."
Nadelen: "The food was old fashioned and stuck in the 1960s. Having an option of Beef brisket or Salmon or two polarizing choices. I opted for the brisket and it was decent but not actually worth finishing. It was too fatty and strange tasting. Boarding in Sydney needs much improved screens and communication."

Voordelen: "Crew was super nice and accommodating. Entertainment was the best selection I’ve ever seen."

Nadelen: "There was an incident prior to take off where a passenger in first class had to be removed from the plane. Though it’s certainly not the airlines fault that there was an issue with a passenger, they should’ve been a lot more transparent and gave us a lot more information on what exactly was going on other then “we need to go back to a special area to get this passenger off.” Couple that with the security checks to “make sure there is nothing on the plane that shouldn’t be” and very little explanation of what actually occurred, it made for a very stressful flight. Not knowing if this passenger had made any kind of threat against the plane, or safety of other passengers... etc, it was very hard to feel safe for the remainder of my trip being left in the dark as the incident occurred in first class."

Voordelen: "The flight was incredibly comfortable, and Emirates reputation is well warranted. Service was impeccable and food was great. Seats were great, especially in business."
Nadelen: "Overall business class was great, however I didn’t like the placement of the remote at my left shoulder. I hit rabdom buttons a few times and it changed the channels and I would have to re-search for the movie I was watching. Everything else was absolutely perfect."

Why ask First and Business passengers to start boarding when all you are doing is getting them to leave their seats and stand up for fifteen minutes in front of the closed doors going out of the departure lounge?. This has happened three out of three flights and must be standard operating procedure."

Voordelen: "Best airline so far for economy long haul flight, was emerites flight"
Nadelen: "No Arabs on board but everything in Arabic, no real issues. Would have been hard for my Thai girl to navigate on her own"

Voordelen: "Decent food, real utensils, free wine, excellent entertainment system, free limited wifi. Try finding that on a budget airline"

Nadelen: "The boarding gate space was quite small and there was no separate queue for business. So you literally had to push through people who were already in the queue to board as a business class. There was no space to go around."

Nadelen: "They didn’t have enough landing cards in English, the aircraft temperature inside was too cold, the staff didn’t close the curtains to the galley area and made noise and light while everyone is trying to sleep, our baggage came out last despite having priority tags and the boarding process from the lounge in Dubai with lifts was very combersome"

Flying at night across the Tasman Sea it was as though we were stationary (apart from a little vibration as we crossed the Southern Alps). Besides, the Air Bus is so quiet (comparatively). Oh yes. One other thing: the fare."
Nadelen: "We are vegetarians (not vegan). I wasn't keen on the chicken/fish option. But I didn't complain."

Nadelen: "Boarding was chaotic. Why usher First Class into an area make ten stand up for ten minutes before boarding?"

Voordelen: "The service was the best ever. Business class: The floor plan of seating was smartly laid out with plenty of room for storage. People were not crowded together and the food and drink were 5-stars!"

Nadelen: "We moesten ons erg haasten vanwege vertraging van de eerste vlucht. Door ern beladingsfout had de vlucht ook nog erns bijna 3 uren vertraging. En dan blijkt ook nog eens dat onze koffers niet meegenomen zijn."

Voordelen: "Service prima. Eten voldoende. Entertainment ook voldoende keus."
Nadelen: "We vertrokken met vertraging. We konden maar net op tijd het boarden van de volgende vlucht halen."

Voordelen: "The economy was just as well served as Business Class. There were 22 different countries represented in the crew on the flight. We were served a hot meal and a cocktail. Also, had more leg room than normal. Very efficient boarding system, as well."
Nadelen: "There wasn't anything about the flight to and from Sydney to New Zealand we didn't like."

Voordelen: "I requested a blanket for my Son and was told there was none available....."
Nadelen: "On disembarking I notice a various overhead compartments with bags full of blankets. Why was a deny a simple Blanket? This is unacceptable in an airline that praises itself to be one with the best customer services.......Bad, really bad...."

Voordelen: "So comfy... Great service. Wished the flight was longer b"
Nadelen: "Nothing"

Voordelen: "Emirates is always excellent however the crew were not very engaging"

Voordelen: "La amabilidad de la tripulación, que sí el menú es completamente vegetariano. No como otras aerolíneas que te ponen manteca, leche para el café..."
Nadelen: "Todas las veces me cae muy, pero muy mal. Cuando llegó el momento del té o café, me dieron sal en vez de edulcorante. Demasiado condimento. No es comida para un vuelo, es difícil de digerir. Hasta produce síntomas de indigestión."

Nadelen: "We fid not enjoy the close proximity of several screaming children who insisted in screaming at all hoyrs, making sleep impossible. What was concerning was the reluctance of the staff to intervene. Most disappointing as we did not have any sleep at all overnight."

Voordelen: "Boarding"
Nadelen: "Toilets"

Nadelen: "It was too hot in the plane."

Voordelen: "Can i request for a food that us not pork? I don't eat pork nor shrimp, i will be traveling on the 5th of January again and i don't want that we will be starving again for the second time since last time we never eat for they don't have anything substitute for pork. Hope they will serve some chicken or beef for not everyone will eat pork and to starve while on the plane is not acceptable for we paid for it. Thanks"

Voordelen: "The crew was friendly n the food tastes surprisingly good, though the portion was small. The entertainment was good. and temperature inside the cabin was just right. Boating time was quick."
Nadelen: "Actually I was disturbed that CX offers a tabloid newspaper like Apple daily, especially at this sensitive stage when hk is going through such turmoil instigated and supported by Jimmy Lai’s group. It is offensive that such a biased newspaper is on offer, when there are other Chinese newspaper with a more neutral stand. Cathy has been viewed as a sympathiser of “yellow” rioters because of its involvement by management n crew. Now it just brings it more to the memory how CX might be what the leaked reports that many equipment has been compromised by CX crew onboard. Many of CX customers are from middle class, and it could be a big turn-off. It is unwise to patronise a tabloid newspaper when the owner has been named by China as the culprit of the recent troubles in hk. It’s like offering Al Jazeera news on united airlines entertainment........During the whole trip, I was captivated by these thoughts."

Voordelen: "Comfortable seats in Premium Economy."
Nadelen: "Seat didn’t recline but moved to a vacant one to sleep. USB charging points didn’t charge my iPad."

Voordelen: "Cathay pacific is very professional. 100 times better than American Airlines in general"

Voordelen: "The seats are fairly comfortable, and the service was great."
Nadelen: "The economy seats are obviously not great. The extended legroom seats are still quite narrow, though the legroom is great."

Voordelen: "I thought the service on this flight was much better this time around; at least from where I was sitting. The attendants seemed to come around more often and there was a much better food selection for everyone involved. Overall, I found the flight to be safe, mostly comfortable, and the food was excellent."
Nadelen: "I had a family sitting next to me (I was in the aisle) and I felt that while the attendants were courteous and prompt in accommodating me, they all but ignored the people in the middle seats. I had to keep asking them on the attendant's behalf if they needed anything before they rushed on by. At one point the father told me that he was getting better service from me than the attendants. Also, one of the TV screens didn't work in one of the middle seats so the family had to do a switcharoo with their little one after they got settled so their son could have the working screen. I personally found that it was very difficult to recline my seat - I really had to quite literally put my back into it to get it to click into the reclining position."

Voordelen: "Staff very professional"
Nadelen: "Touch screen not working, no entertainment on entire flight"

Voordelen: "Was able to redirect from Kansai to Umeda after typhoon. Initially received misinformation though. Service was great except the one time I received a regular, not diet, coke and still had to drink it. Great job Cathay Pacific!"

Voordelen: "J'ai rarement si bien voyagé en classe économique. Siège confortable, beaucoup de place pour les jambes, ecran HD avec films récents, nourriture recherché et excellente et équipage au petit soin !"

Nadelen: "A good half the plane was first class and business class. (This was a 15 hour Hong King to Boston flight.) They handed out a fancy menu with 4 entrees but by the time they got to economy only pasta was left. We did at least get a small bottle of water; on our outgoing flight they doled it out in meager glasses. When boarding in Hong Kong we had to go through an additional security check between the gate and the plane (that was a first...) and had our water bottles confiscated. So we were reliant on what they would give us on the plane. Seats were tight, unlike some airlines that give you a little extra room. Wouldn't fly again unless their price was a real bargain."

Voordelen: "FLIGHT WAS CANCELLED"
Nadelen: "Airline could have have notified us the flight was cancelled via email before we got to the airport. THEY DID NOT. We had to wait in general airport area for SIX HOURS, before we could check in to new flight. We planned trip to arrive to unfamiliar destination during day time. We arrived at MIDNIGHT! AWFUL!!!!"

Voordelen: "Short flight time"
Nadelen: "Flight stewardess keeps saying "we don't have this, we don't have that, we run out of it""

Nadelen: "Bulk head seats. People walked over me all night including staff"

Voordelen: "The usual Cathay Pacific service"
Nadelen: "On time departure and arrival."

Voordelen: "The flight attendants we're so kind and polite. They worked very hard to be helpful to everyone on the plane."

Voordelen: "Crew were excellent, taking the time to introduce themselves and always responding promptly to requests"
Nadelen: "Service at times seemed a little disorganised. A minor issue though when compared to the overall service"

Nadelen: "Hardly any Indian movies for 15 hours flight. Other flights have more options. Pl aying games was terrible without a handset. Seats are cramped. There was 2 fruits for an Indian vegetarian option and when we asked how come there is no desert they say that is the option which is comes with."

Voordelen: "On time"
Nadelen: "Slow food service, average food. Slow after meal pick up."

Voordelen: "Food better than qantas Good leg room Very attentive attendants Good range of movies"
Nadelen: "It was pretty good for the price"

Voordelen: "Great crew. Super friendly."

Nadelen: "Entertainment system is a little bit outdated. Not as good as was on the other flight where you can search for movies by keyword."

Voordelen: "I managed to miss my flight in Hong Kong (my mistake) and Cathay managed to get me onto the next flight. Thanks Cathay!"

Nadelen: "Delayed due to rain (stopped us boarding, held in skyway for 15 minutes, had to run to another gate) Poor communication on delay/flight info."

Voordelen: "Most comfortable bed... slept almost 7 hours on the flight. Food, service and everything else was excellent..."
Nadelen: "Nothing I can think of... They had it all covered."

Voordelen: "Stewardesses were nice and accomodating"
Nadelen: "Plane seemed a bit older for an international flight. Not much legroom, poor entertainment options no games and there were no adjustable air vents."

Voordelen: "A350 is great."
Nadelen: "Service was not that great for business class a"

Nadelen: "Seat was uncomfortable, something was dripping on me by the end of the flight, could have been condensation? The passenger behind me had his shoes off the entire flight and put his feet in the space beside me near the window. His feet smelt like vinegar and sweaty socks. The passenger beside me was overweight and he spilled into my seat partially. All of this did not make for a comfortable flight but thankfully it wasn't too long."

Nadelen: "My Son's water bottle was emptied despite my protests that nobody at any airport has ever done such a thing. The water had even been okayed by the Hongkong airport 1st security point after we landed in HKG from Delhi. But the there was additional checking of handluggage again just before boarding and they threw away my Son's water. This is unacceptable. Also the food was not up to quality. I got practically the same food in both meals."

Voordelen: "The seats (in business) were wonderful and made it easy to sleep. As I wanted to sleep, I did not access the entertainment system. The staff was great."
Nadelen: "The food was ok for airplane, but really expected a little better."
