Nadelen: "The boarding was terrible. They called for groups, asked everyone to form 2 lines, but after the lines were formed, closed one boarding lane. Some people were late to board for first-class, causing even more boarding delay and chaos. There were 5 crew at the boarding gate just standing and watching. I selected a seat closer to the rear of the cabin, which received much worse attention than any other flight with ANA. I didn't get asked for a drink until very late, and the second time around there were almost no drink selections available. My seat was also broken and would not recline. Aside from the actual airline, the passengers in the rear were very inconsiderate. There was a big family with several children running around/crying/playing with seat-back trays the entire 11+ hour flight. Again, this is not entirely the fault of the airline, but it was a discomfort."

Thete was not sufficient time to arrive more than an hour early due to the fact Gimpo airport opens at 6am and the flight was at 7:45. When I arrived I was not allowed to check in or board and no one wanted to help me find out what to do. They suggested I call my ticketing agent. Thankfully they were helpful but they mentioned the ANA SHOULD have helped me find the next available flight but the representative kept repeating it was not her job. Finally she looked and said there were no available flights and tried to push me to buy another ticket through another company. My ticketing agent helped after she heard what happened and rebooked my flight for the next day. Hopefully everything goes smoothly but ANA staff at Gimpo were a bit of a nightmare to deal with"

Nadelen: "With no food preferences specified, it takes a significantly longer time to get your meal as there are a lot of people who have special dietary requirements on certain routes."
Voordelen: "I booked regular economy and flew to Tokyo that way, but put a bid in for premium economy for the flight home and got it. It's not a big upgrade (bigger display panel, a little more leg room, seat tilt and it has a leg rest) but those things made the flight for me."

Nadelen: "I Booked a flight that stated that it only had one stop in singapore, then direct to SFO after arriving in singapore i was told that i had to go to a transfer counter, that there was a problem with my ticket. after arriving at the transfer counter they took my boarding pass for my dircet flight to SFO, & told me that i now had a stop in hong kong, that the direct flight to SFO was over booked!! this is not right i wouldn't of booked this flight if they had been truthfull about the extra stop. i will never use singapore airline or kayak again!!!"

Voordelen: "The presence and attitude of the flight attendants were highly pleasant and accommodating. The entire flight was very comfortable and made the 9 hour journey from Manchester to Houston Texas fast and enjoyable. The flight attendants always had a wonderful smile which felt genuine many a time and always made an effort to speak at the level of the passenger. When I had trouble connecting to the Wifi, one attendant even knelt down and connected my phone manually as I was not tech savvy in this regard. The food was of much higher quality as well compared to other airlines I traveled with on this trip."

Nadelen: "The whole booking experience and long phone and frustrating. Long phone calls with not very knowledgeable/understanding staff for clearing payment with Momondo was a farce. Using a corporate credit card I have used for several years. I didn't get confirmation before I went to bed. Only next morning, when I woke up 5 am for getting my flight, I finally had the confirmation. Could never get it before I went to bed 1.30 but - but they could confirm the payment was done alright! Hurray! Never booking with Momondo/Kiwi again."

Then wait for the previous minibus's crowd to clear then walk another flight of stairs up the plane :( I can accept this from a budget airline but not a commercial airline at a usual well-equipped airport especially when it's at its own home country."

Voordelen: "Nothing! The plane left late and while waiting, the airco blastwd like a freezer. My feet and gands became numb and I got a terrible headache. Next, a chinese couple with a 1 year old toddler came to sit next to m: the child started wailing immediately and this lasted until 5 min before landing. It was like they had not a clue on how to handle a child and they had nothing to make it drink or suck or distract it. Worst flight in ages.."

They start boarding but do not open the doors of the plane so everybody has to wait long in the tunnel to access the plane. It would be better not to start boarding."
Voordelen: "The seats were fabulous. Roomy and my girlfriend and I were indeed placed in the armrest adjoined style. Flight was quite smooth. For the difference in price I can not fathom why anyone would fly coach on THAI."

Voordelen: "They maintained darkness inside the cabin, thus I could relax well."
Nadelen: "Food was not good, also they served dinner at 5 pm which was very early for me. I had late lunch at 1:30 and was not expecting dinner at 5 pm. I did not feel hungry and so refused the meal. Unfortunately they served only a cup cake later in the evening. It was a 6 hour flight, thus a small cup cake late in the evening did not suffice."
Nadelen: "Inefficient security screening. Inspected every single bag, rather than employ scanning systems. Left 45 minutes late. No reason given. Luggage took an extra 40 minutes to unpack due to "technical difficulties"."
Voordelen: "Vegetarian food was ok. Crew was very polite and helping."
Nadelen: "Economy class Seat was hard, did not move back much, had very less leg room, thus uncomfortable, couldn't sleep on the flight"

First flight which did not have either Pepsi or Coke products. Only carbonated drink available is spirite.. very disappointed. Crew was not friendly.. I bought from you air tickets with Scoot airlines from H.K to Singapore on 30 December and back to H.K on the 3 January. when I came to the H.K airport to check in with scoot airlines they said to me that I can't go to Singapore because my passport expired on 2 of June and it's less than 6 months if I want to go to Singapore I need to have in my passport more than 6months. sow in the end I lost the ticket to Singapore and not only this I went back to H.K I toke a room in the hotel 150$ and the day after I went to the embassy of Israel to extend my passport and I bought a new air tickets with Cathay Pacific 350$ to go to Singapore. its mean that I lost my ticket +500$ .and all this because you never informed me that my passport needs to be valid more than 6 months . you can see also in your letter its written there that my passport need to be valid there is not any thing about 6 months. if you was telling me that before I could change my passport. sow pleas I insist that you will pay me back half on my ticket that I lost + my expenses 500$. if I will not get it back my story will be all over in the internet about you I suffered a lot"

Nadelen: "I'm 6-4 , so I enjoy any extra space I can get. For this reason, I like the CP planes that seem to have more space than competitors. However, when the person in front of me reclines for the ENTIRE flight, my screen is too low to watch, I cannot use my try to eat and its like having someone laying in your lap.........it should not be allowed ( reclining)."

Voordelen: "The food was excellent. The seats were comfortable (even in economy) and tilted back more than other carriers, making it much easier to sleep. The flight crew were very helpful and concerned with passenger comfort."
Voordelen: "The crew was friendly and the flight was comfortable. There were two service representatives to take me on the golf cart from my gate in Terminal 1 when I landed to the bus departing from Terminal 2 to Terminal 4 where my connection was. It was unexpected, but saved a lot of stress based on the distance I had to travel within the airport to make the connecting flight."
Nadelen: "They recently moved the Cathay Pacific flights to the new Terminal 4 in Changi in Singapore. The connecting distance was significant to get from the Terminal 1 gate to the bus leaving from Terminal 2 to get to Terminal 4. Changi is usually VERY efficient, but this was a real inconvenience to not have direct transport from T1 to T4. Also, the lines for Cathay are not properly sorted by First/Business and all status frequent flyers. There were no ropes or anything organizing the queue, so there were well over 150 people lined up for the priority boarding with no clear queue. At that point, there is no priority. Time to get better organized."

Food is EXACTLY SAME as economy. In LAX had to REMIND them that Premium Economy has priority boarding. There is no champagne on arrival at your seat...you have to ASK for it. Crew is always HURRIED. When you ask for a beverage or a snack, hostess and stewards have ATTITUDE. it's like they are doing a big FAVOR. Really??? we spent lots of EXTRA MONEY to be in this class. Restroom was difficult to access. Overall MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT"
Voordelen: "Arrived 40 minutes ahead of scheduled arrival time. Food and drinks on board were above expectation compared to other airlines like KLM, China Southern. Cathay delivered a smooth and great service throughout this trip as per usual."
Nadelen: "In Canton (Guangzhou) aangekomen was er een zeer lamé wachttijd bij de douane van ongeveer anderhalve uur voordat ik aan de beurt was. Dit heeft verder niets met Cathay te maken maar wel met de vluchthaven."

Does not seem like a good idea to waste 4 hours more when you come to Toronto from India by Cathay Pacific . I wish I was in some other flight to save time . The route of he flight was long"

Nadelen: "We were scammed by Kayak and Cathay Pacific. We had entered all our information correctly: first, middle, and last name. Cathay Pacific did not print the middle name of the boarding pass. Apparently, Hong Kong is strictly on the passport exactly matching the boarding pass. We were stopped before security and Cathay Pacific decided it was the perfect opportunity to charge us $400 for a rebooking instead of amending the name, which we had entered correctly in the first place. We were pushed back and forth between kayak and cathay when kayak told us they weren't able to change the name on the day of the flight. Will never fly cathay or book from kayak again."

Nadelen: "Where to begin....The flight was delayed an hr leaving Hong Kong. Then we were rerouted without notice to Newark International. Upon landing and changing our plans, we were told we were actually proceeding to our original destination in JFK. However, we have to wait for a new crew and we're stuck on the tarmac, on the plane for additional couple hrs. The experience was very aggravating, especially after such a long flight. Additionally, I find Cathays lack of transperancy with their customers very unprofessional. Sad as this is my preferred airline to flight but will take this into account for future bookings."
