Nadelen: "The seats are uncomfortable, no leg room, no space between seats and the trays hit ones’s stomach. The whole experience was very uncomfortable. The food was awful. Overheated and not cooked through at the same time. Breakfast was odd. Non-Greek yoghurt and cashews. Just strange."

Nadelen: "Better leg room, better food, friendlier crew. Today you only get good treatment if you pay extra for it... Something is wrong with the pay-for-good-service model most airlines follow"

Voordelen: "I think this airline has an attention to detail and level of service which surpasses most other airlines. Whilst remaining competitive these factors make traveling with Finnair a far more comfortable and attractive proposition for me. In addition, Helsinki airport must be one of the best around."

Nadelen: "I didn't like that seats originally assigned after the flight was booked were changed right before the boarding. This is a nonsense. Why would you do that?! Without notifying prior to check-in."
Voordelen: "Everything was well organized and on time. Good meals! Price was fabulous!"
Nadelen: "Seats in economy were small and my husband and I are not small. Usually international flights are roomier."
Voordelen: "Plenty of leg room, and I got an empty seat next to me! Food was served on time (an hour into the flight, and about two hours from the destination). The options were decent particularly the caserole in terms of portions. Plenty of overheard compartment space, even with a nearly full flight."
Nadelen: "The arm rest between seats doesn't raise to the full upright position, only one-half way. The TV needed to be reset by the purser due to it being stuck on kiddie mode. If you're a snacker, bring food."

Nadelen: "Not knowing clearly what airline or flight to take. Was not listed on my first initial ticket. Also I could not check in online at all."
Nadelen: "good morning aircraft flew late 1 hour. arrived in Finland late. our aircraft departed. now sit 3 hours and waiting for other aircraft. plane crashes in 12.45 the bottom and arrives in Riga in 2.00 days."
Voordelen: "The stewardess was really sweet and funny! She was very accomodating even though there was high stress because the flight was late."
Nadelen: "The flight was 30 minutes late, which made it really hard on a few passengers, myself not included, who had transfers."

Voordelen: "It was interesting that the flight from Helsinki to Chicago served a Indian style dinner comprising of lentils, rice and chickpeas. I liked that too, though I prefer the meditarranean fare. My kids liked the macaroni and meat dinner. The plane was clean and comfortable"
Nadelen: "The flight attendants could have been a bit more cordial and smiling. The dessert was only a choclate. Would have liked something better. Entertainment needed more variety. Boarding was a bit of a mess as they did not let families board first and were not very accomodative of families with small children, though I had a 9 year old, but there was a family with two very small children and they were not very helpful to them."

Voordelen: "World best airline since my last flight to Hong Kong. New aircraft with the most confortable and complete flight experience I had in years in economy class. Seat confort, movie selection and quality of the screen, food quality, boarding speed, cabine pressure, all was immaculate."
Nadelen: "They promised an upgrade to premium economy and then they didn't follow through, they lied when they said that row 30 was premium economy, all this felt very very weird. Jacqueline the flight attendant recognised the problem and gave us premium headphones to make up for the error."
Voordelen: "Very simple but reliable and confortable flight. We got clear instructions to get to the next terminal"
Nadelen: "We took off late and arrived even later so we had to run to get to the next plane"
Voordelen: "We had a very reasonable fare that included two meals a glass of wine and movies. We weren't expecting any thing more than a plane ride. Thank you FinnAir."
Nadelen: "Wasn't given vegetarian option for food and don't eat meat."
Voordelen: "IT WAS THE MOST ENJOYABLE BUSINESS CLASS FLIGHT I EVER HAD. THANKS FOR THE HOSPITALTY AND SERVICE."
Nadelen: "Could not watch any video on screen. Crew tried to reboot my and my partner's screens but they did not work for the 9-hour flight."
Voordelen: "I got to my destination, eventually."
Nadelen: "Cutting corners and cheap. The personnel isn't helpful, they basically don't care about you, typical nordic behaviour. Flights were delayed. Upgrade to business was not worth. Hidden costs. Overall a bad experience."

Nadelen: "Not that I didn't like, only some comments: Flight was 40 min late at arrival due to delayed start from JFK, the plane had to wait on runway before take-off. Not a problem for me as HEL was my final destination."

Nadelen: "Having to pay about $35/person to reserve a seat. This was a hidden cost. Very little legroom. Staff did not come around enough with beverage service. Boarding was late and confusing."
Voordelen: "I was a bit surprised by cabin crew 's welcoming words that were my native language ,which ware very familiar and joyful . I didn't feel well at that time with a severe cold and I endured during the entire fly . I know it's kind of bad but I made it to my country safely. The food was Korean food and I really enjoyed and loved it so much .The Helsinki airport is great with smoking booth and warm ."
Nadelen: "Nothing but I wonder if they could change my seat to upper one despite my additional fare because I felt bad the day and they had cold pills like medicine."
Voordelen: "The dinner tray was actually one of the best I ever had in a plane (except maybe for the bread). Flight was comfortable overall, I was just a little too hot, with no individual air vent."
Nadelen: "A little too hot, and no WI-FI. Other than that, great flight."
Nadelen: "I wanted to go home early..... They wanted to charge me 400 dollars to change my booking"

Nadelen: "I paid for an upgraded seat and after boarding other passengers were being moved to the same area that I had paid for an upgraded seat FOR FREE!"
Voordelen: "The crew was incredibly helpful and accommodating when we discovered that I was not registered for a vegetarian meal. Bebe crew make sure that was taken care of and we're very very friendly in the process"
Nadelen: "I missed my flight from Chicago to Paris. Because I purchased it through Kayak instead of directly through Finnair or American Airlines, their 'hands were tied' and they could not reroute nor reschedule me. Not only that, but because I was not on the flight to Paris, my returning flights were automatically cancelled. While this is probably included in the fine print etc., I find it ridiculous. There should be a better alternative for people who miss their flights than forcing them to pay a lump sum that is higher than the original ticket price in order to reschedule their ticket. Moral of the story: BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN YOU BUY THROUGH KAYAK OR SIMILAR AGENCIES, BECAUSE THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ATROCIOUS."

C'est une grosse arnaque cette compagnie. Je n'ai pas pu récupérer mon argent suite la fermeture des frontières.
Encore un vol en retard. Cela devient une habitude BA.
Voordelen: "The crew saw I was travelling with my young son; baby and elderly parents. We were placed at the front of the crew and were kind enough to allow me to board first."
Nadelen: "Most passengers had to put cabin bags into the hold. These were taken at the gate, it would have been nicer to have had this notified by text or when checking in so the bags could have been left at the check in desk."

Nadelen: "The seats on our return leg were much more cramped & did not have as much legroom as the outbound flight. There were no meals available for me that did not contain cheese. There were not sufficient choices of spirits & we were only offed a drink once in the flight. I have flown with BA for 30 years now. This was absolutley the worst flight I have been on."

But a clue where to go would have been nice. Missed my connection. Shuttle and hotel was a mess. Got a few hours of sleep outside the airport. Maybe I’ll get to Los Angeles soon."

Nadelen: "This 747 should be refurbished or retired. I've traveled this flight on 777s and newer 747s. This plane was an embarassment."
