Nadelen: "missed connection in Zurich because flight left one hour late, and connecting flight didn't wait the extra five minutes which would have allowed us to get on flight. Transfer desk was unable to get us to Bari same day although it was only noon; rebooked for 6:55am next day... Significant financial loss to us."

Nadelen: "We didn't fly to Zurich. Instead, we flew from Berlin to Frankfurt to San Francisco to San Diego. Although the alternate airlines did a fine job and we had nice flights thanks to them, we only found out about the change when we arrived at the airport and it caused us multiple inconveniences throughout the day. Our flight from Berlin to Zurich was scheduled to board at 9am, so we left our accommodations at 6:30am so we could arrive at the airport around 7am. It was a rushed, hectic morning and we stayed up late preparing for it the best we could. When we arrived and found out our flight was canceled, we learned our new flight wouldn't board until 11am. So we rushed for no reason and had to spend a considerable amount of extra time at the airport that we could have spent enjoying coffee one last time at a local cafe or something. We planned to fly straight from Zurich to San Diego so we could participate in an interview for our Global entry application (which you can only do when arriving in the US from an international flight). Because we had a brief layover in San Francisco instead, we had no time for this and were unable to do the interview when we arrived in San Diego because it was a domestic flight. The change also caused issues with our luggage. We're not used to checking bags when we fly OR flying internationally with layovers in the US, so we asked the agent at the Swiss desk in Berlin how it would would with both of those aspects in our travel with the itinerary changes. The agent told us our luggage would follow us all the way to San Diego and we didn't have to worry about it. However, we learned once we got to San Diego that our bags were left in San Francisco because apparently we were supposed to pick them up and recheck them, but we had no idea. It was a huge bummer and we wish we would have had more control over our itinerary that day. People book certain flights for certain reasons and need to have a say when their flights need to change."

Nadelen: "The food and service was better than that of American airlines, but no comparison to food and service of any Asian airlines (including Singapore Airlines, Thai Airways, Japan Airlines, ANA, Korean Airlines). The Edelweiss brand is too much based on outdated stereotypes and Heidiland. Nobody in Switzerland walks around dressed and make-uped like the stewardesses of Edelweiss air."

Voordelen: "My partner and I loved our first flight with Swiss from JFK to Zurich the chairs was amazing, we enjoyed the full bed and the entertainmnet screen was amazing to enjoy. The food was delicious and the service was amazing."
Nadelen: "My Partner and I was dissatisfied with our connecting from Zurich to Cairo. We expected the same flight but we were in basically in coach with little more leg room. The chairs barely reclined to a comfortable position. There was no entertainment, just a three and a half hour flight at the flight plan on a small tv hanging over. their was no differentiation between the economy behind us. just the food that was brought to us, other felt the same as well who were traveling in business with us."

Nadelen: "I didn't get on the flight because they lost my luggage and they refuse to give me a new ticket. I was back and forth on the phone with Swiss and still no good word"

Nadelen: "Because there was no way for us to check in early or online and they did not send us an email directing us to do so, they put us on standby even though the flights were paid for months before. We couldn't sit together--they wouldn't even try, they let the computer do it randomly as we boarded. They put my son through ridiculous strip search security measures, and when my passport fell into to the steel bullet of a garbage can, they didn't help and my son and I figure out how to go through it to get my passport. They could not have been more unhelpful. Plus the food was terrible, and delays both in taking off and getting to the gate. I will NEVER fly Swiss Air again."

Nadelen: "only problem was with the pull out tray. We were in a bulkhead seat and my husbands tray was loose and tilted and his juice spilled all over. The attendant was very good and helpful in cleaning up. Think that the trays should be checked and tightened if necessary."

Nadelen: "The boarding process at Zurich airport was a mess. There was no communication at the gate to tell passengers what to do or where to stand"

Nadelen: "If one is over child height and the uncaring person in front of you slams their seat into full recline, one will be miserable on steroids. Swiss Air will not correct the small free space capacity (both pitch and width) most assuredly. Thus, I now fully appreciate why fellow travelers embrace airplane knee protectors. "Don't leave home without them," especially on Swiss Air (emphasis added) !"

Nadelen: "We landed over half an hour late. Flight attendants needed to move passengers to balance the weight on the small plane, and asked for "volunteers." When there were none, the FA stood in the aisle and said we just weren't going to take off if nobody volunteered. They should have just MOVED people."

Nadelen: "There was a lot of turbulence and people screaming in fear, it always makes me feel better when the crew says something reassuring to make people less anxious."

Voordelen: "Smooth flight on new B757 with good entertainment system and Comfort+ seating legroom worth the extra cost but I was disappointed that the overhead storage bins above our seats were filled by pax from other seats before we arrived even though we were given priority boarding and the toilets were filthy."
Nadelen: "Boarding passengers should be more carefully controlled with amount and size of cabin luggage and where they place them. Toilets should be more frequently cleaned in flight."

Voordelen: "Delay. First it was about 20 min, then 30, then 49 and 55. At the end more than 70 minutes delay. Too much, too frequent on delta!!!!"

Voordelen: "Had to cross terminals and the pathway was closed due to an international flight landing (poor planning on LAX part) so had to exit and reenter terminal through TSA. Flight delayed an hour then cancelled due to control panel failure. 10pm flight became 12am bus (and originally told it was 11.15pm bus which was "stuck in traffic" when google map traffic was all green). Got back to SD 4 hours after scheduled time."

Nadelen: "De onbetrouwbare procedures bij KLM en Schiphol. Kan niet online inchecken bij Delta: KLM operated. Alleen op Schiphol. Daar ook niet bij machine. Naar een loket. Die meneer geeft aan: stop uw koffer in automaat. Die accepteert niet. Had die meneer ook gelijk kunnen zeggen. Volgende loket. Die mevrouw geeft groen Delta label: uw bagage wordt in Atlanta direct doorgezonden naar Kingston. Ik loop dus door in Atlanta. Maar behulpvaardige meneer melde: uw bagage wordt niet doorgezonden. Nooit uit Amsterdam. Wie moet ik dan geloven? Ik toch maar wachten. Blijkt koffer toch van bagage band in Atlanta te komen. Als ik op Delta/KLM info had vertrouwd, was mijn koffer dus pleite geweest, want niet doorgezonden. Geplande tussenstop duur van 2 uur was volgens douane te weinig. Dat klopte. Haalde maar net vlucht Atlanta/Kingston."

Voordelen: "Some "perk" for Diamond status on Delta to get to a shorter security line, but customs and immigration was... customs and immigration."
Nadelen: "No available SkyTeam lounge unless you had a business class ticket. As a Diamond flier, I can always access the SkyTeam lounges. Audio for boarding was a little unclear so there was some confusion at boarding. For reasons unknown, my bag was moved from one overhead bin to another. Very frustrating since I board early to avoid this confusion and hassle."

Nadelen: "Paid for upgraded seat to "Comfort" for both of us. Bank account was charged for both. Got to gate and only one of us was upgraded. Gate agents said there was nothing hey could do, and that I had to call customer service. Nothing, in person. Terrible"

Nadelen: "I checked in 12 hours in advance for both trips and was assigned a B seat toward the back of the plane for both, with no capability to select my seats in advance."

It sounds silly, but my neck hurt after the flight a little. Might be a pop out tv you can attach that is moveable to fix this"

Nadelen: "They checked my bag at the gate - despite me traveling all over the world NEVER having to check it - and would not take no for an answer, despite me having a 25 minute connection due to their one hour delay. Once boarded there was an incredible amount of empty overhead bins! Bag didn't make it"

Nadelen: "The flight from Copenhagen to Brussels was delayed long enough that I barely made my connecting flight to Frankfurt. However, my luggage did not. I hope it will arrive today."

Nadelen: "Space is always an issue on super Kong flights, so any improvement for these 11 hour flights would be great. A place to stretch somewhere?"

Nadelen: "Check-in at Frankfurt Airport was hard, we were directed to kiosks that did not work properly and then finally found help at the family check-in counter. Food is very average. Had to take a bus for boarding the plane on an international flight."

Voordelen: "The process and the food. Plane was much too crowded and the seats were impossibly tight. Zero leg room."

Voordelen: "We struggled to get the system to add our bags. Never got it to work and had to pay at check-in. It was even worse coming back! When bad weather caused delays and we missed our connecting flight from Frankfurt to Istanbul they put us on Turkish Airlines which was fabulous!!"
Nadelen: "Lufhtansa is slipping. They are acting like a budget airline when the expectation is for a full service airline. The online check-in would not let us add bags even though we tried for 3 hours. Not impressed with this."

Nadelen: "De stoelen in Croatia airlines lijken wel van hout en zijn redelijk krap. Eten is pietepruime."

Nadelen: "Wheel chair accommodation in Frankfurt is poor, doable but not to the US standards. Lufthansa gate staff member took us to the wrong elevator, ended up outside security and had to go through security screening all over again, now late for flight and not early boarded. Was told she was only on the job for 2 weeks, I don't blame her for her incompetence I blame her management! Plane was loaded on the tarmac via a bus for a large international flight...no gate?? Seats in economy class are equivalent to those on a domestic flight, fairly uncomfortable on a 12hr flight. Many of the entertainment choices were not available, you can select it but all it plays is a short commercial."

I recommend paying the small upcharge to choose seats with extra legroom. totally worth it on the long haul"

Nadelen: "This flight was the second leg on my trip from New York to Munich. Many people on the flight from NY to Brussels were scheduled on this flight and that plane landed in time that this flight would only need to be delayed 10 minutes to allow for us to connect. However, they decided to leave all of us with a long unexpected layover in Brussels, costing many of us a day of what was supposed to be a short vacation for most."

Slightly disappointed."

Nadelen: "Having to change my seat to accommodate a rude belligerent passenger, who had taken my seat, refused to move until spoken to by steward. She then made my flight a nightmare, until I let her sit in my aisle seat. Even then she was not satisfied, she abused me the whole flight damaged the screen so I could not use it until the steward fixed it. Demanded that I except any and all alcohol to give to her to drink. When I am tea total she then continued to abuse me. I asked the steward to move me he just shrugged his shoulders and said there was nowhere else. This is definitely my the worst flight I have experienced."

Nadelen: "The boarding area was total chaos. In order to get to the gate I had to literally fight with the 100s of people who were waiting in the same area. No priority was given to family with children or elite members. Even when we complaint at the personnel we were told that “it was busy”. Usually KLM flight from Venice depart from the first floor where gates are bigger and you get straight with the finger to the airplane. Today it hasn’t been the case .... too poor service for a KLM fight"

I just filed a claim and got rude service saying I should have filed the claim at the airport baggage area but there was not anybody there to do the claim then he agent upstairs said they just spoke to them and they are there and I should have done it there. This was so rude and there is no way to get back into customs area. If we paid 200 for bags I expect them to arrive on time. I’m asking for a refund of the baggage fees."

Nadelen: "I was seated at the emergency row. The staff has a policy of collecting the pillows and blankets during take-off from these seats. But they never gave them back to us afterward. Later when I wanted to go to sleep, they could not located these items."

I travelled business class, the flight was packed."

Nadelen: "Boarding the plane. I do not know why the airlines load the people who are at the front of the plane first. Load the people on the back of the plane first. That way, when you call the next section, the people in the back are not blocking people as they enter. An alternative is to call people in sections based on where they sit in a row. If you have window seat, you should be called first. Why? Because so many passengers who have aisle seats have to get up to let people with middle or window seats get in. So, they hold traffic up as people are trying to get to their seats. After window seat passengers get called, then call middle seat passengers, and last, call aisle seat passengers."

Voordelen: "I was prepared with my smart phone and iPad and external batteries, turns out I needed none of those things! What a pleasant surprise for the in flight movies, music and tv to be perfect. I didn't even have to use my external battery on the flight because there is a perfect USB port in the screen in front of you. The food was as good as airplane good gets, the plane incredibly comfortable and staff was attentive. I don't love the long flights but this BA flight is now my go to anytime Im headed to Europe."

Voordelen: "If I had another option for a direct flight to London, I'd take that over traveling with BA."
Nadelen: "They ran out of the meat option for my meal. Understandable but I couldn't eat the veg option either. The flight attendant literally said to me that they had no other food on board - a complete lie of course which I didn't appreciate given the $1500 ticket I paid for the flight."

Voordelen: "Food and service were first class even in economy seating. British Airways is always my favorite airlines, consistently superior in most areas. The food and beverage on the 24hr flight was very good."
Nadelen: "The Boeing 747-400 on leg from London to San Diego had the older infotainment system, compared to my first flight. It worked well, however the screen was small, and the in flight flight tracker was dated. Most BA flights have the newer system."

Nadelen: "Seat backs are too thin. You feel every time the person behind you goes into the pocket."

Voordelen: "Courteous service, and good selection of new movies"
Nadelen: "Turbulence over the mountains, and steward didn't serve food anymore"

Nadelen: "Seems like the easiest way to make flyers happy is a decent TV with movies on the flight, not this airline. The entertainment consisted of a a 4-6 TV in the back of the seat in front of you that occasionally turned black and white. Time to upgrade that BA!"

Nadelen: "No usb outlets. Dated entertainment. No indiv air flow control. Screw was loose and a metal wire was wrapped around but you couldnn't see it. So, when I reached to turn the broken dial for air the metal wire pierced my finger."
