Nadelen: "Hanging flown on several wide bodied aircraft, it’s been my experience that the A330 has a much better coach experience than the 777 aircraft models. For me, it’s a matter of legroom. Fortunately, I didn’t have anyone next to me on the flight and was able to spread out a bit (I’m 6’5”!!) My only other complaint was that while this was booked as an Iberia flight, the flights were all serviced by American Airlines. Check-in, seat selection were all handled by American. It was a little confusing in the online check-in process, because for months, the AA app wouldn’t recognize anything but the return legs of the trip using the record locator provided by Expedia."

Some type of notification about needing a passport that expires more than 6 months after your retrun date would be nice, either from the airline or from kayak, since you already send so many emails anyway. This would be super easy for you to do and save a lot of people a lot of hastle, since many do not know about this pretty counterintuitive restriction. Anyway, Iberia offered to rebook me the following day and put me on standby for the next flight to give me the morning to renew my passport. However when I came back to check in for the second flight, the original attendant had forgotten to actually add me to the standby list and in the meantime, my connecting flight had become overbooked. The check-in folks argued about whether I could be upgraded to fit onto this flight, but decided that since the original dely was my fault, the best they could offer was a flight at the same time the following day. I asked if I could rebook my return flight to push it back a day, and they told me that figure reservations could only be changed over the phone. I totally accept that monitoring the validity of my passport is my responsibility, but refusing to put in an ounce of effort to assist their customers with relatively unknown and counterintuitive restrictions, then not admitting to fault of your own or lifting a finger to make up for blatantly crappy service if it even slightly affects their bottom line is absurd. Do better, Iberia. Oh wait, you're an airline. I won't hold my breath."

Nadelen: "Iberia put me on standby with no notification or explanation. My entire trip came to a screeching hault. The stress and anxiety of waiting to see if I got on a flight with my new fiancé was wildly inexcusable on Iberia’s end. I am incredibly lucky to have made it on but it is deeply disturbing that Iberia would rely on luck so heavily after screwing me out of a seat I payed a lot for. I would have missed my connecting flights and been stuck in Spain for god knows how long since they wouldn’t tell me other flight information. I am very worried about flying with Iberia again."

Dijo que si el levantaba esa maleta el podía dañar su espalda.. y el seguro no lo atenderia.. le dije al señor que yo había solicitado asistencia.. pero el dijo que para otra vez, pusiera mi equipaje en carga.. un pasajero vecino de mi asiento al ver la negativa actitud de ese señor.. levantó mi equipaje y me ayudó. Yo soy viajero frecuente de Iberia y se que una mala actitud no hará cambiar mi preferencia."

Nadelen: "The temperature on the flight was VERY hot and uncomfortable! Seats were very cramped and uncomfortable. Not at all an enjoyable experience. Flight was delayed and passengers were bussed to another aircraft for outside boarding. Connecting in New York was very rushed and stressful due to the delay."

Voordelen: "I loved the Madrid airport!! Iberia out of Madrid is lovely."

Nadelen: "Airliner contracted out to another flight operator. We looked up and down the terminals trying to find the sign for IBERIA to no avail. It was quite hectic and stressful to arrive to the airport and not see your airline booth anywhere. No signage or anything there of to indicate Iberia or the other operator taking over this Iberia's flight. Then they wanted to charge for my carry-on saying it is too large. Went back and forth arguing for about 10 minutes then I found the bag sizing stand and demostrated to them my carry-on bag fits inside the bars as indicated in their sign. They said oh well it looks large from here. Customer Service is non. It is more Customer Harrassment. DO YOU PAY YOUR CUSTER SERVICE REPS Commission for every checked bag or something? Too bad there aren't many more options but I am considering going to social media to with this. NOT HAPPY and not flying with IBERIA anytime soon. SEnd me my refund!"

Nadelen: "Couldn't check in online and couldn't get my boarding pass to my second flight through Iberia, had to do it at Madrid and it was very inconvenient."

Nadelen: "My flight was cancelled and I had to wait in the Madrid airport for seven hours before getting a new flight and retrieving my luggage (five for the new booking, 2 for luggage). It's understandable that flights get cancelled due to weather, but the handling of re-accomodations should be much faster. Iberia did not have enough people to handle it and made no effort to bring in more help. Instead, workers were continually leaving. By the end, there were only two people helping the line of dozens of stranded travelers. I was very disappointed."

They would not serve vodka from the cart and you needed to go to the back of the aircraft for it. Will not fly Iberia again. ."

Nadelen: "We arrived at the airport at 9:00 to check in for our flight that was scheduled for departure at 12:15 and we were told that we could not check in until 2 hours before the flight (10:15). All of the passengers for flight AZ1466 lined up in front of a check-in counter that displayed Alitalia for our flight. At 10:45 they announced the check in for AZ1466 at a different check-in counter knowing full-well that everyone was lined up for flight AZ1466 on our line. So then everyone that was lined up at the first counter had to line up at the new counter. My wife and I were initially 3rd in line and then after we had to move we were in the very back of the line. On top of that, they only had 1 person checking everyone into economy (which was most of the people on the plane) and they also had to weigh everyone’s carry-on baggage. We were initially told they had weather issues with the snow in Rome and they did not know if we would take off on time or would be cancelled. However, I was getting e-mail messages from Kayak stating our flight was on-time. So how is it that a 3rd party travel company knew what was going on, but the crew at Alitalia did not? Afterward I had to go through security, wait on the tax refund line, and go straight to board the plane. After that we waiting on the plane for 50 minutes and did not take-off until 1:05 PM. These were the problems in short: 1. No one informed us that we could not check in at this particular airport until 2 hours prior to flight departure. 2. They did not begin the check in process until 90 minutes prior to departure. 3. We had to switch check-in lines and they only had 1 check-in person. 4. We had no time to shop or eat lunch at the airport. 5. We boarded the plane and waited until 13:05 to takeoff when we were scheduled to take off at 12:15 (50 minute delay). 6. We received no communications about delays from Alitalia (via e-mail or app). However, we received e-mails from Kayak stating everything was on time. We had no communication from Alitalia about the delay or that we could not check in early (which you could do at every other airport I have been to). We also had a connecting flight in Rome that we were concerned we would miss. We arrived at Rome airport on a delayed flight out of Marco Polo airport (AZ1466). Our 13:40 flight to JFK (AZ610) was delayed until 14:45. After we arrived at Rome airport we ran through the airport to our gate and boarded the plane. After we boarded the plane we waited until 16:10 to take-off (85 minute delay). We did not receive any communication from Alitalia via e-mail, the Alitalia app, or crew members that our flight was being delayed any longer than it already was. We planned on stopping to use the bathrooms in the airport, eat a decent lunch, and shop (which I promised my wife we could do at the airport). As a result, when I asked both airlines involved (Brussels Air and Portugal Air (TAP) what to do, each airline blamed the other airline for the problem and each said it was my problem to fix. After speaking with ten people and begging them to make the problem right for a problem I did not create, they finally issued me a new ticket but I had to wait 24 hours for the new flight to leave. It was a total breakdown in communication and organization and customer support and problem resolution on the part of the airlines and the airport. I never want to fly these airlines again and never want to take a flight with connections."

Le personnel à bord n'étais pas courtois du tout, aux portes d'embarquement et ainsi qu'au service à la clientèle de votre compagnie. Je n'arrive pas à comprendre d'où vient votre réputation exemplaire après avoir vécu cette expérience. Votre responsable de l'aéroport Pearson International de Toronto a été audieuse et n'a pas été à l'écoute du tout lors de notre rencontre. Avec plus de 2500$ dépensé pour un aller-retour Paris/Montréal et ce genre de service en retour j'attendais un minimum de considération venant d'une compagnie digne de votre renommée. Mon conjoint est médecin et vous n'avez pas l'air de réaliser ce que réalise ce genre de situation. Nous étions à temps à la porte et on nous a tout simplement refusé l'accès. Aucune solution possible peu importe ce que nous demandions. Aucune possibilitée d'avoir un vol plus tôt ou simplement de faire livrer bagages à notre domicile. Seulement l'interdiction d'entrer dans l'avion que nous avions choisi et ce avec des raisons valables vue le métier de mon conjoint. Je ne comprends pas pourquoi cela nous retombe sur nous, nous devons payer des dépenses supplémentaires afin de rentrer à temps, alors que sur internet lors de la réservation la correspondance était prévue, et qu'on nous a assuré que les bagages auraient le temps de suivre à Paris. J'espère grandement que vous allez considérer ce message et que vous allez faire quelque chose autre qu'un courriel d'excuse."

L'agent de comptoir m'a dit que je n'avais pas d'ESTA, donc que je ne pouvais pas partir, alors que j'en avais un. En pleine panique, j'ai appelé ma mère qui heureusement a retrouvé en 5 minutes dans son ordinateur mon numéro d'ESTA. Cela m'a causé une très grosse frayeur, car c'était presque le moment de la fermeture de l'enregistrement, et m'a vraiment gâché le voyage. Je me plains donc franchement du manque de gentillesse et de la qualité du service de l'agent de comptoir. Je précise que j'étais en billet retour, donc il aurait été facile à l'egent de penser que j'avais un ESTA puisque j'avais fait escale à Chicago aussi à l'aller."

So, I paid more for the flight (because the 7pm was more than the 10 pm) and now I have to pay a late fee to check in. On top of that, I paid an additional service fee by booking though FlightNetwork and they did not book my checked luggage like the price breakdown said. It’s been terrible and a waste of time and money."

Voordelen: "Our flight was slated for 3:35pm departure. But hours before the flight, the guessing game started as to how delayed and for what reason the flight was delayed. We ended up leaving 4 hours later and with one feeble apology from the captain..."
Nadelen: "Absolutely nothing. A meager €8 voucher that didn't even cover a meal and a poorly informed gate agent that couldn't provide any information because the head office wouldn't provide any information. To top it all off, the lie as to why the flight was delayed was not maintained by either ground staff nor the crew. Unbelievable"

Nadelen: "Awful. Didn’t make it. Vueling was terrible at fixing the problem. Stranding is in Barcelona airport"

Nadelen: "The boarding time has been changing every few minutes since the morning. I arrived in the gate where there were about 30 people with boarding passes but no assigned seats all overbooked. Half the people left on a bus then boarding stopped and we're returned back to the terminal going through security and hour or so later. The company reps had a big attitude problem and could provide no explanation to what and why anything is happening. In the end they tell us to leave the gate after 1.5 hours wait and look for new boarding info around 2pm. I managed to get on the flight by chance: no updated info was announced - I by chance heard a poor fellow working for the airline trying to find people at a nearby cafe who were supposed to be on that flight. If I had my headphones on I doubt I would be able to board that plane"

Nadelen: "We arrived more than 2 hours too late - this on a 2 hour flight. This can happen - but flight history shows that this flight is too late every day. The seat pitch is the worst of all low-cost airlines in Europe. Also the plane needs a renovation. We are flying regularly low-cost airlines. But non of the competitors is so expensive. Vueling can’t be recommended."

Nadelen: "Bad check-in by Vueling staff. They kept changing the time to check-in. At first the sign said "All Destinations" with no restriction on check-in. Nest, while we were in the line, they changed the sign to say you could only check-in 2 hours before the flight and then, when we got to the front of the line, they said it was 2 1/2 hours. Very rude in response to our questions."
