Als ik op Delta/KLM info had vertrouwd, was mijn koffer dus pleite geweest, want niet doorgezonden. Geplande tussenstop duur van 2 uur was volgens douane te weinig. Dat klopte. The food, wine/ beer service was same as regular economy, the boarding took place at same time as economy, no drink before take-off if only sparkling water. And the plane was old generation 747 and the entertainment was same vintage: screen was not very bright and the selection of films was poor. No plug to charge electronics. We were disappointed with KLM when comparing with other airline companies offerings when you book in Premium Economy."

No priority was given to family with children or elite members. Even when we complaint at the personnel we were told that “it was busy”. Usually KLM flight from Venice depart from the first floor where gates are bigger and you get straight with the finger to the airplane. Today it hasn’t been the case .... too poor service for a KLM fight"

Voordelen: "We traveled with our 11 month old and the crew was super helpful. It was an 8.5hr flight, we got a middle seat to give him space to play and the staff had a lot of fun engaging with him. They even gave him a couple of toys to play with. Food was just ok, but better than most airline meals I've had. We flew Premium Economy which was a comfortable experience as well."

For guests who wanted to sleep during the red eye, the lights were not turned off until after dinner and cleanup, which meant only 2 or so hours of sleep in dark."

Nadelen: "Due to a train mix-up, I arrived at the Frankfurt airport with only 53 minutes to get through security and board. Lufthansa would not let me through the process, even though I immediately told them about the problem. They not only refused to let me board, but also refused to reschedule me. I had to buy a whole new round-trip ticket at more than double the price in order to meet my family for our once-in-a-lifetime reuinion in Norway, but also make my existing connection for the return flight. It cost me an additional 999 Euros cash in the middle of my vacation because my Kayak ticket was not refundable."
Nadelen: "Lost my luggage when the other 3 people who I am traveling with got theirs. Not sure what went wrong there. No SAS personnel was available, actually there was no airline counter even. I filed a lost and found report at the airport. I will contact the airline , hope they will find my bags or at least provide vouchers for my one week vacation."

Nadelen: "We chose seats on the same row as grandparents and had preprinted boarding passes at home. When at check-in desk to drop off baggage, the employee printed new passes and change the seats row for the 4 four us, which made us be in a different row than grandparents. I did not notice until we boarded the plane."
Nadelen: "TV's on our whole row did not work for the entire flight. Reading lamp was burned out. It would have been tolerable for a domestic flight but these amenities are needed and appreciated on a six hour flight!"
Voordelen: "This was my first flight in SAS and it was a wonderful experience. The crew was pleasant and the seating was spacious and the plane was clean. Very refreshing atmosphere."

The booking never made it clear that I was not allowed to check my suitcase and I had to pay € 70 extra both coming and going and thereby paid 1 1/2 times more for my suitcase than for my ticket. I am very disappointed to be 'tricked' in this way and consider it a very dishonest business practice."

That's ok but then we sat on the plane waiting which resulted in leaving later than the original time of departure and therefore a large run for my connection at Copenhagen. Was badly organized clearly."

Voordelen: "They had a kiosk, which was nice. In the US (Dulles) on my way out, I had no way to print a picket without waiting in line. I don't have a printer at home and the mobile ticket system was not working, so I had to wait in a very long line despite the fact that I had no luggage just to get my ticket. Every other airline had a Kiosk. In Gdansk, I was glad to see that they had a kiosk."
Nadelen: "Although I could print my the ticket for the first leg at the kiosk, I could not print the second. I asked the woman at the desk, and she could not print either. I had to fly to the connecting airport with no connecting ticket in hand."

Voordelen: "Flight was breezy, no complains. Nice staff Food leaves room for improvement but over all a pleasant experience But please read below"
Nadelen: "So you lost my luggage.. These things happen. However.. If someone pays 8 k for a one way ticket you might be able to come to the conclusion that it's an urgent trip as is. And respond or /and follow up so that I know what to do as far as cancel all things and /or max out my cc to get the things I need. Nothing from you, no word. No one picking up the phones. 8 thousand dollars worth of silence."

Nadelen: "Air Canada, whose flight this was, was understaffed and disorganized in Milan. No kiosks for self service, no identification of which line to wait in for what, lines spilling over into common area with >100 people and their luggage waiting. Waited almost an hour just to get a boarding pass."

Eventually tore out pages from magazine and stuck them in the window to get some shade. This is the second Air Canada flight in 2 months with electrical issues that I have experienced."
Voordelen: "The passengers, the Brussels airport retail area, 1 of the flight attendants who was polite and welcoming, and the entertainment selections. Finally being connected to Swiss staff."
Nadelen: "The crew was not very welcoming and was borderline rude when I asked any sort of question such as why I was not allowed to wear my headphones prior to take off. I was patient in not wearing them, but could not relaxing into the trip for the 40+ minutes we remained on the ground mostly not moving. I was tired when boarding and fumbled with my documents and was very curtly told to just hand them over. Another time I accidentally mistook headphones the stewardess was handing out for something else. I took a pair and then immediately gave them back with an apology that I didn't realise what they were, but thanked her anyway. This was met with a scowl and a bit of opposition. There was one stewardess that was very nice and accommodating out of the entire crew. On top of this the toilet seat on the plane was broken, so it fell on you when you were trying to go to the bathroom, and the soap dispenser was broken. I didn't dare mention these things to the flight crew though. The plane was late taking off from Montreal, and so was late landing in Brussels. No effort was made to provide connections assistance, or provide directions on where to go to rebook our missed connections. I and all others traveling to Zurich spent the entire morning trying to find anyone from Air Canada to help us rebook our flights. We literally were going from desk to desk between two terminals, and consulting each other as we went to limit the amount of leg work we all had to do. We all had to finally leave the terminal area and go to Swissport and stand in a long slow line. By that time any afternoon flight was already overbooked. So I and a group of other passengers were booked for an evening flight which forced me to book a hotel in Zurich because I couldn't get to where I needed to be that evening. After being rebook, I still tried to get on an earlier flight by going directly to the gate. It was confirmed that there was some extra space available, but they would not switch me to the earlier flight because I had a checked bag that I could not separate me from. Ultimately my bag was lost which made me have to stay awake and in the Zurich airport even longer after I finally arrived going from one lost baggage representative to another, and then waiting in another line to finally fill out paperwork because my bag had never been scanned in Brussels. The Zurich representatives were very polite, helpful, and efficient compared to anyone I encountered in Montreal, or Brussels. I was without my bag for 3.5 days of what was supposed to be a 10 day trip. My trip was reduced to 9 days because I spent an entire day in the Brussels airport and then had to spend the night in Zurich. I arrived in Zurich on Saturday night, and received my bag on Tuesday afternoon. All in all it was not a good experience until I got to Switzerland."
Nadelen: "poor entertainment choices. Reading lights didn't work. I traveled with my wife, we were unable to read because reading lights didn't work."
Nadelen: "When I had to change my wife's ticket due to an emergency, we were charged over $415.00. That is unfair."
Voordelen: "The end of the trip and delivery of luggage 24 hours after arriving in Vienna"
Nadelen: "Old and partly broken plane, horrible food. 2 officials to immigrate hundreds of people at Brussels. Breakdown of luggage system in Brussels. No luggage at arrival in Vienna."
Voordelen: "I liked the fact that they provided beverages and food."
Nadelen: "I hated how there was NO entertainment. Honestly on a 12 + hour flight this was a bit ridiculous. No tv, or movies... no screen on the seat at all. Not even a big one for everyone to enjoy! It was horrible... The seats were so cramped and the staff seemed a bit unprofessional and sloppy looking. The food was pretty bad as well. I've had my fair share amount of flights and honestly this was probably the worse one i've gone on with the amount of hours it took to get to our destination. I wouldn't have mind too much if there was no entertainment on a 2 or 3 hour flight..."
Nadelen: "For non-U.S. Citizens the transiting in Canada is inconvenient and expensive. I wouldn't travel through Canada by plane again."
Voordelen: "Why Canada created a ridiculous process that requires a $7 payment for transmitting in Canada is beyond me. I hope they realize they are impairing the competition of it's own national airline."
Voordelen: "Dinner was ok, Breakfast and coffee were horrrible"
Nadelen: "Very rude staff, would not do anything I asked and responded with attitude"
Nadelen: "Oncomfortabele stoelen, Inflight entertainment werkte slecht"
Voordelen: "The plane was comfortable. Staff was great."
Nadelen: "Our flight got canceled 12 hours before we were supposed to take off. They postponed our flight 24 hours. It took forever to change it so that we still arrived at our destination on the same day. I'm glad I checked my email before going to bed because otherwise I would have shown up to the airport not knowing my flight was canceled. That should not have happened. It almost ruined my trip."
Voordelen: "Great films and entertainment."

Nadelen: "When someone has a terrible experience with a single individual it's just an anomaly. When it came to our experience it's easy to see that it's systemic and come from the top down in that company. The lack of customer service training is apparent. It was rampant and the overall feeling was just plain rudeness exuding from every team member. I'll never fly Air Canada again."
Voordelen: "The ever wonderful Air Canada cancelled a bunch of the flights that I had originally booked 2 months before I left and marooned me in the Toronto airport for an 8 hour layover on my way home. Unacceptable. No reason given, no apology made, nothing."
Voordelen: "The flight was on time!!!"
Nadelen: "I find over the past 25 years that I have been flying with Air Canada the customer service has really went to the dumps !!! Every body is rude and don't understand why."
Nadelen: "Had to have a visa for connecting flights. Not worth going through Canada."
Nadelen: "The tv in business class weren't really working... stopping the movies by it self and I had to always restart them until I gave up on watching a movie!"
Nadelen: "Flight canceled due to mechanical problems. Out of 4 agents at desk at airport only one knew what to do in case of a cancellation. They all stood around eating raisinettes! Unprofessional, lack of training, lack of planning (why wasn't another plane sent). One agent was going through the line giving out a phone number to call? Why weren't they trained? I called and thankful I was up at the desk so I could tell the agent what to do from the lady on the phone! Lost a day on our already short Christmas visit with family. Would love a refund!"

Nadelen: "Air Canada has a policy where they will automatically put you on stand by if you do not check in an hour before your flight time. This policy was not stated in any of the emails we received. We were put on stand by and then removed from a flight we had paid for and checked in to."

Voordelen: "Turkish airlines always delivers the best service and the most relaxing flights."

Nadelen: "It's always cold and a shame you have to pay for everything now, even a blanket."

Voordelen: "The on-board and Abbotsford-based crew acknowledged that we had all had a very long day. All thanked us for our patience."
Nadelen: "We were informed when we arrived at the gate that the flight was to be delayed by 8 hours because of mechanical problems. 8 hours! No offer was made to book us on a different flight. No one, at anyplace along the line actually apologized for asking us to wait around for 8+ hours when the flight was delayed. We did not even know what the mechanical problem was. When we finally were able to board the flight, the captain made a personal appearance in front of the cabin to tell us that he and his crew had been called at home to fly a broken plane. He briefly explained that there were no available planes to swap out and the repair required all day. Inexcusable! Our treatment did not measure up to the Canadian tradition of courtesy and politeness."
Nadelen: "Couldn't rate entertainment- there was none - none expected"
Voordelen: "The movie selection and the food was great! The crew was friendly and helpful. The pillows and blanket provided made for a little bit more comfort."
Nadelen: "The lack of space in the cabin was very uncomfortable. Being arm in arm with strangers is not my idea of a great flight. Flights lasting over 4 hours should really be courteous to those on board."
Nadelen: "Seats did not recline. It was one of the least comfortable flights I've been on in th past few years."
Voordelen: "Our flight attendant, Aaron, was wonderful"
Nadelen: "Everything else was awful....I was taking an international flights, so arrived at the airport 3 hours early, as specified. There was no attendant at the desk until 1.45 hours prior to boarding. We almost missed the flight, and as a result, the connection to London. If possible, I will not fly air Canada again"
Nadelen: "Flight was delayed and they did not communicate ..."
Voordelen: "The flight itself was fine- comfortable with nice amenities and a professional staff."
Nadelen: "My first flight was late then cancelled, then replaced by another. That one was late too and made me miss my connecting flight. I had to spend the night stuck in the Toronto airport with nowhere to safely sleep and my late arrival meant the entire first day of my long planned vacation was ruined. I was supposed to get to my destination around 10 in the morning, instead I arrived around one in the morning the next day. All I got from Air Canada for this trouble was a $10 meal voucher for airport restaurants that cost $25 and were closed during my stay."

Everything she said in French was unintelligible- very offensive (and disturbing) for Francophone passengers such as myself. And for a Canadian carrier- This shows no respect for our pluralism. When we book online and try to pick priority seating, then find out that the plane is so small that the 9th row means 9 out of 12 or something, this feels like a con. Especially when we pay extra. Stop making people pay for seats that don't get them any priority boarding (Zone 3!) and offer no real advantage."

Nadelen: "I watched the Big Short, which kept shorting. I had to stop the video about 15 times to get to the end. And one slice of cake is not adequate breakfast."

Im really sad that I will have to have the same night flight back to Houston."

Went to check in and the carrier said sorry you can’t board United did not book you. The voucher just has prior info and this flight time. So we missed getting on that flight 3 total hours on the phone with United and they did nothing but put us on hold. Thank you to Brussels air who finally after many years and frustration helped us so we could leave. More than 10 hours later than we should have. Horrible experience and we lost a day of vacation and pre paid plans for the evening I will never use kayak again for international flights. As that was part of the problem per United (probably BS but won’t ever risk it again) and will never use United airlines again as their customer service and lack of caring showed that companies true colors. I hope the rest of this dream vacation is better than this nightmare was."

L'équipage fait comme si tout était normal mais on voit par la fenêtre qu'il y un camion de service qui essait de réparer de quoi derrière l'avion. On nous fait embarquer alors que rien n'est prêt. La personne qui s'occupait des baggages a pris 20 minutes apres notre embarquement avant de s'amener. C'était extrêment désorganisé."

L'information dites par l'employé cest avéré fausse, car une fois au Nicaragua on ne ma pas demande un billet de sortie. Une chance que j'Ai pu le canceller à l'intérieur de 24h. Sinon jai été satisfait du service."
Nadelen: "Je suis arrivé 13 minutes avant le decolage et lequipage na pas voulu me laisser monter dans lavion. J'ai du prendre un vol trois heures plus tard pour fort lauderdale alors que mon pere etait hospitalisé a miami. Personnel tres peu comprehensif une femme a même rit de moi lorsque j'ai dit que mon père avait eu un accident. Cependant le vol etait etait avec air canada et non united"
