When we went online there were almost no more seats available so we decided to go to the check in counter in the airport. Although we were more than 3 hours in advance in the airport there were almost no seats available. Plus, continuous strikes in Belgium see a joke, check-in luggages delayed for plenty of airlines. This country doesn't even know what strike mean anymore being so often..."

Aux 2/3 du vol, nous avons eu l’Impression d’être dans un sauna. Atroce ! Alors que d’habitude j’ai toujours froid !"

Voordelen: "Entertainment selection was decent, I was especially impressed by the very wide variety of music to listen to. The crew were very friendly, helpful and attentive. The plane was clean and presentable, especially the lavatories. The seats were comfortable and the blankets provided worked well too."
Nadelen: "Food was bland and the chicken dish was dry and difficult to chew. Movie selection on the entertainment system was mediocre, with limited variety of films in general and especially limited variety in languages other than English and Arabic. A problem which I encountered on board was a big gap between the ventilation panel at the base of the wall and the flooring, through which the dessert of my meal fell and which presented the risk of losing further items. I hope this is fixed promptly."

This wasn’t the first time it’s happened on this flight, either! We were thirsty and no one offered us water. The flight attendants kept skipping my friend and I when they did come around, which was not often. We were extremely thirsty the entire time and when we finally were able to get up to use the bathroom and search for water, we were told to sit back down. We got tiny cups of water about three times on a 10.5 hour flight. Lastly, the entertainment selection was very small and limited."

Lazy to talk, a lady who was on the screaming machine kept making nasty comments, really inappropriate addressing foreigners and people who speak Bulgarian. I found it highly disturbing, border line harassing. You can’t work customer service and be such a nasty grumpy person. Everywhere in the world that attitude won’t be allowed, or sanctions must apply. The lady who was collecting money for the checked bag was extremely rude and lazy. Almost kicked me out for not paying for my checked bag online. Excuse me? Why is she there then? The flight was fine. However, the flight attendance slipped the last 2 rows with drinks. Please make sure that the people who work at Sofia airport get some kind of basic human training. Unfortunately, they do not wish to make you feel welcomed or cared for."

Our luggage had to be also taken off the flight and we were not given a flight till the next day. As a result we missed our connections, had to book an additional hotel last minute. Bulgaria Air had no even a customer service desk at the airport!!!!"

Voordelen: "We wish companies who share would advertise who they are partners with & that the other companies have your information when using their airline. We finally found the representative to Air Belin to check us in at the Frankfurt Airport to find out we will be flying with Balkan Airline at another terminal. The same thing happened on the way back. Luckily we arrived at the airport early both times to make sure we were flying. But getting information from one airline to another is hard when your booking # & flight number is different for each airline, & when you call the airline they tell you to go to the airport as they cannot help you over the phone. The flight was find but to board is another."
Nadelen: "Crew was not sympathetic towards mom with baby. No help with stroller. Airport agent decided to add stroller as checked luggage causing confusion and distress during short connection window to next flight."

Nadelen: "The boarding was a mess, because they decided to consolidate the passengers of two planes, so most of the seats were double booked and they were struggling to find seats. The flight was delayed with one hour because they were looking for lost passengers. Complete mess!"
Voordelen: "The crew are friendly and professional, I was greeted and given instructions when I missed a connecting flight due to mechanical issues with the first flight. I was given new boarding ticket for the next day's flight along with vouchers for the hotel and meals. The hotel was inside the airport and had a late check out and I was able to keep my carry on luggage in the room for most of the day."
Nadelen: "Turned the face value for the meal vouchers were way to low and was not enough to cover a very basic meal therefore I had to cover the difference."

Nadelen: "Food quality was pretty poor. It used to be so good. I had sea bass which was so dry. There were a group of 30 people travelling together. They monopolised the lobby bar and were rowdy and noisy despite requests from the crew. The flat bed is so hard, it needs a mattress."

Voordelen: "Etihad showed some kind of discrimination non-muslims wheel chair passengers. My luggage is not taken good care of as they tear my zipper. The crew of are okay but never take good care of seniors with some physical disabilities to check and see whether they need water to drink on long distance flights as many airlines do. Muslim wheel chair passengers were given preferential treatment as I am always last one to be picked up and my luggage came at the end after waiting for one hour."

When I requested the customer service person he was very rude and with very bad attitude even the person was behind me he said the same thing. The food was very bad taste during the flight,coffee and tea had a very bad taste. Orange juice taste very bad too. No personal kit was given during the flight. Over all very bad experience. Please coney my comments to Etihad Airways."

Voordelen: "Après une heure dans l'avion sans climatisation malgré un personnel de bord irréprochable (distribution de boissons) on nous annonce le débarquement, diriger et abandonne dans un terminal malgré un repas offert, pas d'information après renseignement auprès d'un accompagnant de tour operator j'apprend qu'il faut se rendre à la même porte où nous embarqueront avec 4 heures de retard. Un grand merci au personnel de cabine mais le responsable au sol .... Mais en plus de 10 vol Ave Etihad c'est ma seul mauvaise expérience et de plus j'ai payer 200fr pour changer de vol et arriver 4 h 30 plus tôt résultat gagné 30 minutes oups"

Là fut notre erreur car lors de la correspondance à Abu dhabi nous étions de nouveau surbooké à 23h00 ! malgré nos borading pass. Au bout de 2h de négociation nous avons obtenu une chambre d'hotel de 1h du matin à 6h.... pour reprendre le vol suivant à 8h30.... Aucune indemnisation, ni surclassement, as même un code wifi .... COMPAGNIE A EVITER A TOUT PRIS, c'est du LOW COST et le SAV est CATASTROPHIQUE. You now have to pay to get an exit row like budget airlines and I had to go two days without my bag. Total nightmare. Then I couldn't recheck in to change seAts online. Food was disgusting."

Voordelen: "There was a technical problem on the airplane before we take off. The plane was in delay around 90 min. Captain of the plane was very reasonable in problem explanation, and we can feel that safety was on first place. All praise for captain and for the crew for very professional behavior."
