Nadelen: "Plane condition: Cosmetic plastic panel below monitor and seat back pocket on Seat 31E fell off when foot rest was lowered; had previously been secured by adhesive tape. Panel removed by crew. In-flight entertainment system: Persistent intermittent loss of sound while listening to movie or TV program. Food: Tried to use "Book the Cook" feature touted by Singapore's website. Was unable to get on site for that purpose. The last try a message appeared (late September) that site was being "rebuilt." On the flight, there was no menu of choices; we were offered 3 vaguely worded choices which boiled down to beef, chicken or vegetables. Those appeared in not particularly appetizing forms and combinations--P.S., we like east and southeast Asian cooking and had just spent 3 weeks in Japan. Failure to provide information about possible delays due to WRG deplaning location at LAX: Although we are frequent fliers to and from LAX, we'd never heard of the WRG. It would have been helpful if the crew had informed us upon arrival that there could possibly be a wait on the plane as buses were used to transport us approximately 1/2 mile to TBIT. Generally: We chose Singapore because of its reputation for excellence. Belying the name of the class, both Turkish AL and Air NZ treated Premium Economy passengers as "junior" business class. Singapore treated us as coach with a roomier cabin and seating pitch."

Even the seatback pockets are better with multiple pockets including one that fits most mobile phones. The windows turn tinted blue instead of drawing shades down—what?!"

Nadelen: "The entertainment system for the 777 did not have a touchscreen which I have been accustomed to on other SIA flights, but the main issue was the brightest setting for the screen was very dim. I think the screen is just old and not as bright as before."
Nadelen: "When refreshments were being served they did so in a hurry for some reason and missed passengers including myself. We had to call for an attendant to serve the refreshments who seemed a little annoyed at that."
Voordelen: "Singapore airline crew is always top notch in terms of service and attentiveness. It's a direct flight from Singapore to Canberra! Beats the layover in Sydney or Melbourne."

They're not lay flat seats, and I can't get the seat even close to flat because my feet jam in to the bottom of the seat in front of me. The food wasn't great, some of the meal which was supposed to be served hot was still cold."

Nadelen: "I Booked a flight that stated that it only had one stop in singapore, then direct to SFO after arriving in singapore i was told that i had to go to a transfer counter, that there was a problem with my ticket. after arriving at the transfer counter they took my boarding pass for my dircet flight to SFO, & told me that i now had a stop in hong kong, that the direct flight to SFO was over booked!! this is not right i wouldn't of booked this flight if they had been truthfull about the extra stop. i will never use singapore airline or kayak again!!!"

Nadelen: "The food was very cheap, it’s not the Emirates that it used to be, especially if you fligh economy. The crew wasn’t so nice, they seem like tired and unhappy, not even a smile. If you ask for something the answer was sorry we don’t have. The wifi didn’t work properly and now you have to pay for that. My seat, 87K didn’t work, it was blocked and I couldn’t reclined. Emirates used to be very good airline but not anymore."

Nadelen: "The plane was old and tatty I booked a window seat to actually get the window seat with no window. I had just come off another Emirates flight but this was old tatty plane, the seating squashed. The plane was delayed on the runway for around 40 mins but no announcement made, the stewards were unresponsive when people pressed the buzzer."

Voordelen: "Could not fault the staff one iota. Incredibly attentive to their customers, graceful and supportive. The supervisor get a special mention as he helped me with eating my meals with a sleeping toddler and even held her for me while I spent a penny. I have never felt more cared for by a group of complete strangers in my life! Thank you. You literally saved my sanity!"
Nadelen: "Nothing to fault at all on this flight. Food was great, staff were hard working and magical unicorns."

My flight schedules were changed few days before departure by Qatar Airways, but only thing I had to do was to confirm that I have noted, my seats and all the rest of details intact, excellent."

Nadelen: "Le manque d'espace , mais il me semble que s'est pire avec d'autres transporteurs. Dormir ou essayer de dormir dans un avion, un vraie aventure, de toute façon."
Voordelen: "Cet avion un B--777 avait plus d’espace pour les jambes, ce qui fut fortement apprécie.. Ce n'était pas le cas pour les épaules, surtout si le voisin est le moindrement corpulent ou un peu hors norme, ce qui n'est pas mon cas, ni celui de mon épouse."
Nadelen: "Dormir dans un avion ou essayé d'y dormir est une sacrifice que je ne suis plus prêt a payer . Dorénavant, je me contenterai de de distance ne dépassant 7-9-heures"
Nadelen: "I had a long trip and as a result I had lost my voice, and the crew had no patient at all. I feel like she just wanted to check the box instead of really making sure I got what I wish for food wise."
Voordelen: "Check-in was a breeze; considering this being an internationaly travel, baggage check-in process was fast and easy. Was in and out in about 5 minutes. Goodie bag was a good idea; the goodie bag contains an eye mask, mini tooth brush, paste, hand cream, etc. These all were great idea and definitely helpful. However this is ruined by the tooth paste. It was a tiny tooth paste, fair enough but the opening is sealed tight w/o a way to easily pry open. This was a total bad idea of packaging. Flight tips were also good idea and informational."
Nadelen: "Atlanta to Doha was about 14 hours flight. The seats were cramped and narrow (no side support) Seat cushion has been stripped down to bare minimum, so effectively you may not feel much of a cushion. Cramped legroom Seats felt like junk and I had started having leg cramps after few hours. This so disappointing for a premier airline like Qatar. Overall a very uncomfortable ride."
Nadelen: "The passenger sitting next to me was really sick due to flu. When i explained the situation and asked for masks to the attendant, you guys did not have even one. I was disappointed with that. I think the flight should have some for these kinds of situation so that other passengers can protect themselves. Thanks."
Nadelen: "same remark : Before our trip we called Kayak service desk with the request to reserve our seats. The answer obtained was that we should do it online. When we went online there were almost no more seats available so we decided to go to the check in counter in the airport. Although we were more than 3 hours in advance in the airport there were almost no seats available. We were very disappointed about this service, we never experienced this with any other airline companies..."

Nadelen: "The staff was not great. An issue with a first class customers made them move around economy customers like they ' really not even people but utilities, all that for that one person. If they would have informed and talked with the other customers that would have been fine but being treated like a piece of furniture isn't nice. Plus, continuous strikes in Belgium see a joke, check-in luggages delayed for plenty of airlines. This country doesn't even know what strike mean anymore being so often..."

Nadelen: "I had a 22 hour layover. On the website, Turkish Airlines advertises they cover hotel rooms for anyone with a layover exceeding 15 hours. However, it's impossible to get a e-visa to allow Americans to leave the airport to take advantage of this. There is one hotel inside the airport, however it's extremely expensive and booked well in advance. While the service was decent on the plane, inside the airport the TA employee's were very rude and not at all helpful. So be prepared to spend the night on the floor or an uncomfortable bench. Won't fly on this airline ever again."

Three hour delay on a 1.2 hour flight. Ground staff made us wait in the boarding area for around 2 hours even though the aircraft hadn't even arrived yet. No updates, no refreshments - not even water. Then we finally boarded to discover MH wasn't even doing meal service on this sector anymore. Just a bag of peanuts and tiny cup of orange juice. So close to five hours without serving water!

Voordelen: "Because I had missed my original connecting flight, the airlines booked me at an overnight hotel and my new flight seat number was premium economy. This was fine in the end, but in the moment I practically cried."
Nadelen: "Again, not being delayed and having to miss my original connecting flight would have been best."

Nadelen: "I was incorrectly charged credit card fees by BudgetAir as I paid via debit card and they never replied to my emails or answered the phone. This caused stress as my bank account went overdrawn. Cannot recommend BudgetAir at all. Appalling lack of customer service. Avoid like the plague!"

Nadelen: "Creaky seats in business class, below average selection of inflight movies and food that was substandard. This was a very oddly configured A330 with the seats in business way too close to each other. Every time they make an announcement you have to deselect whatever you were watching again."
Voordelen: "Crew was terrible plane dirty and very poor service waited 90 minutes after take off to get a drink in business class. Last time I fly this airline used to be ok but now going downhill"
Nadelen: "Almost every thing. Incredibly dirty plane and crew just poor not interested in passenger at all unfortunately noticing this more and more with MAS"

Nadelen: "Flight delayed coming in therefore late departure of over an hour! My outgoing flight was also delayed that I missed my connection at Kuala Lumpur and was put on next flight 4 hours later arriving into Singapore around midnight!"

Nadelen: "Tight seating made it less comfortable than normal, and mechanical issues caused some delays."
Nadelen: "Malaysian is known the world over for its great food. It's a pity Malaysia Airlines MH=Malaysian Hospitality doesn't extend to serving simple, good food. The pastry was nothing but a lump of dough with tasteless fillings, and the main meal was atrocious. Everything else was mediocre, except the crew, who were friendly and warm as always,"

Nadelen: "When they served satay they didn't ask which I prefer beef satay or chicken one even they asked it to other passengers. After finishing the dinner they took forever to clear a napkin so I couldn't find dinner was finished or not. It was midnight so I wanted to sleep as soon as dinner was finished. When boarding they do security check. It's OK. But why don't they use business class gate even there was the one?"

Nadelen: "The long layovers with no hotel voucher from Malaysia air. That would be a big help especially for me since I travel alone. And not to familiar with hotel locations, taxis. I am concerned about my safety in another country..."
Voordelen: "The cabin crew was welcoming. The flight itself was smooth and on time."
Nadelen: "The smell of the toilets were really bad. Urine on the floor. I know I purchased economy class tickets but I expect the toilet facility to be better maintained."
