Nadelen: "JustFly billed the wrong price, then to fix that,created a new ticket with my name misspelled and failed to cancel the original ticket. We later upgrade seats via Singapore then discovered the duplicate booking and misspelling. To fix that JustFly cancelled the booking with the seat upgrade. Singapore restored our upgrade at the airport but only on one direction so we had to go through it all again."

Nadelen: "My flight was delayed by 2 hours so I missed my connecting flight in Singapore. There was a huge queue of people who missed their connecting flight cos of an accident in the runway. The airline did nothing to prepare for this situation. It took hours to get another flight organised, communication was non existent and refreshments took ages to come. Airline didn't help with finding a hotel for stranded passengers."

Nadelen: "Waiting on line to check in was more than a half hour although there were probably only 10 people ahead of me. Got a hard time on the weight of my carry-on being more than 7kg although I had to point out that my ticket allowed me two bags that were 23kg each - I had nothing to check. Eventually, when I pointed out that I could wear enough of the clothes from the carry on, they agreed to let me take it on. On board, the service was cold, bland and infrequent. The entertainment system lost sound perhaps 20 minutes into the flight."
Nadelen: "Our flight to Bali was cancelled due to the volcano eruption. We did not receive any compensation, but Singapore/Silk Airlines told us they were able to get us a flight home to LAX instead, but that it wouldn't be until the next day. We spent money on a hotel and food and waited until the next morning, got to the airport early for check in only to find that Singapore/Silk had in fact, given up our seats that they had promised us. They said that we now would have to wait another day just to get a flight from Singapore to LAX. We asked to speak with a manager, and eventually were able to get two seats due to cancellations. This was intended to be a very special and romantic trip that was essentially ruined. Since no one could have anticipated that the volcano would cause cancellation, we should be refunded for our flights. We are so crushed that we did not get to go to Bali, and now we may NEVER get to go because we are out of money. At the VERY least, the leg of our flights from Singapore to Bali, and Bali to Singapore, should be refunded. We are extremely disappointed."

Lucky I opened it after I cleared security to find that the face of the phone had been shattered with glass shards sticking out, I bought this to the crews' attention and was told to send an email to a random email for the airlines and that the incident would be investigated later. So basically I was given the brush off. Worst experience I have had while flying."

However, you will not go hungry because they make sure that you stay and hydrated on their flights. I do dislike all the dogs that are allowed in planes. Now flights have babies crying coupled with dogs barking. Takes away from the overall ambiance that Qatar tries so hard to achieve."

Nadelen: "The check in process took a long time; longer than other carriers. In spite of so many crew members being there at the gate, there were no announcement of the boarding process. It used to be there before. When asked the staff is very politely responds on what is going on but the rest of the passengers do not know what's going on. Wonder why the staff do not follow the seating process by zone as mentioned on the boarding pass."

Nadelen: "I payed for emirates not fly Dubai which was low budget flight. They charged me for a coffee on the plane... not something I would expect after paying 1400 for my tickets. And no where did it say fly Dubai on my tickets, I would have gone with other alternatives if I knew like Turkish. So last time I use kayak and will not be recommending it as well. This a rating for my whole trip to kathmandu not just Dubai to Kathmandu."

And bvos of that, Emirates staff didnt allow me to chkin my dutyfree stuff which they threw away.. i want to be compensated for that."

Nadelen: "Our flight from Boston to JFK in Ny was delayed an hour. We got to JFK and ran from the plane to the terminal and they had already closed the door but the plane was still there. They wouldn't let us on the flight and it ended up even being delayed for 30 minutes! We talked to JetBlue and they said they couldn't do anything for us so not only did we miss out on a day in Italy, we lost our a ton of money on all the things we booked for Tuesday. We also then had to get a hotel in ny and everything was booked so we almost had to sleep at the airport but luckily we found a place that had a last minute opening. Still was super expensive and no one helped with a "destressed rate". Now we have to wait until 10 again tonight to try to catch the plane to Milan because Emirates only has one flight a day. This has been the worst travel experience I have ever had."

Nadelen: "Captain's announcements in the flights were also either not loud enough or not intelligible."
Voordelen: "Boarding process followed at LHR #3 was well done and organized, made good use of passenger's time. Desk personnel at LHR #3 was professional, as was crew on aircraft into Dubai."
Nadelen: "No breakfast (had sticker on seat to wake up if needed) and ended up awake whole flight. Flight for LHR to Dubai did not provide breakfast although 1950 -> 0550 red-eye flight"
Voordelen: "The flight itself was great, though it was 4 hours delayed. The interface between Jet Blue and Emirates didn't work."
Nadelen: "I booked roundtrip flights in two legs, so Jet Blue, Emirates, Emirates, Jet Blue. The two airlines didn't seem to interface. In each direction for some reason, I was unable to check in online for the second flight, which didn't make sense (so Emirates there and Jet Blue back). On top of that, neither could give me boarding passes that would work for the other. The customer service kiosk took about 15 minutes to get this done for Jet Blue in JFK."

Voordelen: "Emirates is my carrier of choice, and that's due to their continued service standards, friendliness and rates. This flight was pretty empty so service was even better and I was able to spread myself out. Also, well done to the crew. They continue to maintain high standards."
Nadelen: "This is the first time it's happened to me, but I was scheduled to leave Oslo on Wednesday, but Emirates cancelled my flight and put me on the next one. It would have been alright had they offered some sort of compensation or made it up to me in one way or another, but that was not going to happen. They cancelled and the cost was on me (as per the T's & C's I was told) and that was pretty much that. Here's a hint, it seems like their Scandinavian flights are underperforming and in a cost saving effort, they're randomly cancelling flights. I subsequently found out they did it to someone else in the area causing them to miss two days of a pre-booked vacation. So, if they cancel, it's going to cost you a lot more in a city like Oslo to wait a day - not to mention the costs involved in missing work or vacation, so maybe shop around then. I still like Emirates, but I'm feeling a little burnt after this episode."

Nadelen: "I don't understand why cheese and crackers or orange juice are removed from the lacto-ovo vegetarian meals. Sometimes it seemed i was getting half a meal compared to my mom-vegetarian girlfriend's meals."

Nadelen: "No screens or headphones on board, you had to download an app on your phone and use your own earphones to watch a very limited amount of films/tv shows. Very tight seats, not reclining enough. It was like being on a low cost flight but for 5 hours. Very uncomfortable."

Voordelen: "The crew was easily the WORST I have dealt with. Both on the flight to Abu Dhabi and to NYC. They were rude, unhelpful and extremely arrogant. A co passenger was chatting with one of them and she happened to mention that working with people was the worst ever. She’s been with Etihad for 5 years!!!"
Nadelen: "Your crew all need customer service and etiquette training. ASAP!"

Nadelen: "Check-in and boarding was too long and confusing. Too much to walk between one place to next. Overkill on security and baggage check. Food was terrible. Second full meal was chopped up to just a salad and main dish...no bread or dessert. Air hostess could be more pleasant. Flight was late 1 hr."

Nadelen: "Poor food quality. When long haul involves 4 flights in total MUCH more variety is required. When the snacks are predominantly cheese based, then that's repeated x4 Entertainment was poor. Not enough comedy, not enough documentaries and again by the 4 th flight, well just try to sleep as you've done all the good movies"

Voordelen: "My first meal offered a lamb and rice dish with carrots and currants that was most tasty, while the second meal included a nice vegetarian rice dish. They were both very good and a good introduction to the wonderful food of the Middle East."
Nadelen: "I had an issue with the sound on my entertainment unit that caused it to stop every time I paused a viewing. I had to exit then return to the show, which restarted where I paused it, but it was annoying. It also would have been nice to have a solitaire card game to play online. Overall, though, the variety was well thought out."

Nadelen: "Not happy with Etihad Checkin counter desk at Ho Chi Minh Airport. The person at the baggage drop off desk wasn't helphul at all. Being ignored for 30 minutes. I believe that this person needs to be trained in order to know who needs to be helped first as he worked at that particular counter for people who already Checkin online."

Nadelen: "No entertainment options. Late departure & when we arrived early the local ground services company did not expect us & we were delayed at the gate for 30 minutes before disembarking!"

Voordelen: "The flight was very quiet so I was able to lie down and get a good rest - I know this isn’t possible on every flight but it made the long flight a lot more comfortable. All of the crew members were very friendly and attentive. The food was really good and tasty (lamb curry I think it was) - best plane food that I’ve ever had. Good choice of new movies too."
